I ordered a takeaway falafel wrap and it was incredible fresh and very tasty.

Good quality food and friendly staff

We ordered from here through Uber eats. Items included the chicken shish, chicken wings, vine leaves and tabbouleh. The food tasted ok, but what followed was horrific. Within two hours, both of us had suffered severe food poising, which consisted of terrible stomach cramps and diarrhoea. I’ve reported it to Uber eats and will never be ordering from here again.

Excellent food - try the chicken wraps and octopus. Grilled lamb cutlets are excellent. Batata hara, moutabel and cheese rikakat should be had too! Mahlabia is good.too.but with a little too.much rose essence perhaps. Reasonably priced and well worth going to.

Fabulous food and very generous servings. I also loved the unusual crudités.

We LOVE this place. Having lived in the area for the past few years we pop there regularly. Amazing food, great value for money, wonderful service and fabulous quality of the food. Also, portions are very generous regardless of dining in or getting it delivered!

Went here with friends on Saturday evening and had loads of starters to share. So many that we didn’t have any mains because we were so full already. Plus a few bottles of wine and we had a wonderful evening and dinner. My favourite were the spinach pastries and the batatas harra. The falafel were awesome too and the bread and the hummus….

We went on a Monday night about 9 pm, so it wasn't too busy. But boy, weren't we surprised. Two really pleasant young gentlemen served us. The starters were excellent, and the main courses were equally delicious. I bought a wrap takeaway separately for my son (lamb shawarma), and that one was even better. We did not drink at all, just water, and our bill worked out £25/head, which, given the quality of the food and the service, was very reasonable. Tips are at customers' discretion. No service charge is added, although you can add the tip to your bill in one payment. Based on my first visit, I would definitely go back and recommend that you try.

Very nice dinner. Bit pricey, but the quality was very good.

We were around in the local area and decided to pop in for dinner. The dishes were lovely and authentic. The Tabbuleh was amazing, the hummus was creamy and the mains were a good size.

Go here quite often, love the food, sometimes the service can be hit and miss.

Ordered 3 lamb shawarma and 3 chicken shawarma and they were absolutely disgusting. Lamb was not edible and full of fat and gristle, chicken had dry shish mixed in with it. They were also full of pickles, like an excessive amount. I used to eat from the Maida Hill branch often, very nice shawarmas. Last night was disgusting and embarrassing in front of my friends after praising them. Starters were ok.

Always great, the cedar never disappoints. All food is excellent and the speed at which it comes out is epic. Service is fantastic and the Lebanese beer is a delight. The bill always surprises me as it’s such great value. Will always return for more!

Excellent Lebanese/Levantine food. Better than Maroush as far as I'm concerned. I always order food from The Cedar to introduce my non-Arab friends to Levantine Arab food. Their food is excellent and varied. Their sausages and muhamarra are out of this world. They also serve Lebanese wine, which is very good. The service is excellent and they often offer free dessert.

Great little nook. Found that communication was a bit hit and miss with us. There was four of us for a evening out. One person asked if they had any vegetables and the waitef kept replying "yes, salad" I asked for hot water to drink which took àges to arrive. All of us only eat seafood, ŵhich was okay.

Delicious and a pretty speedy service

One of my favourite restaurants in the area! The food was incredible - loads of great vegetarian options and some of the best falafel I’ve ever tried. Really kind, friendly, attentive service too. Definitely a place we will return to often.

Amazing food ,deserves to succeed Authentic cuisine. Soft pillowy fresh flat breads, silky hummus, fresh salads..just lovely. Good knowledgeable staff and for London incredibly good value...can't recommend enough.

An unassuming restaurant, but the best lebanese food I have had in a long time. The beiruty hummus was delightful as were all the other vegetarian options that we ordered. Would highly recommend.

This place is a definite yes! The staff are fantastic, friendly, attentive, the food is amazing, best lamb chops I have ever had. The portions are very generous. Nicely set out, and always accommodate our needs (we like a large table, do not like to be squashed up)

Paid a visit for lunch at the weekend. Food was very good. Had the half a chicken with rice and falafel. Generous portions, well presented and with timely, friendly service. Lebanese beer was a nice change.

Visited for the first time to celebrate my daughter-in-law's 40th birthday. The atmosphere was just so friendly the minute you walked in the restaurant. The food was absolutely 💯 on point. Very tasty and came in abundance. The service was exemplary the staff could not do enough to please you, nothing was too much for them to make you feel comfortable. Would definitely go back. I wish I could leave this place, a six star review!!!! I come here time is a year and the food and service an atmosphere is always fantastic and yesterday was no exception. I was having dinner with a friend and every dish we ordered, was perfect from the fatoush to the chicken wings, which we ordered two portions of because they were so good. When the bill came, we were surprised to see it, because I’m not used to see fair prices in London and I would’ve happily paid more. The manager also apologised that a couple of the dishes had taken too long to bring to a table at the restaurant was busy, but it was still some of the fastest and friendly service I’ve seen in the last year. It’s my last meal on this earth is at the Cedar very happy.

Both my bf and I have stomach problems this morning, having been at the restaurant yesterday evening….. The chicken shawarma was actually terrible.. the rest was ok…. Would not go back!

Great food, service can improve, but for a get together with friends and family, it is surly a place to dine in.

Popped in while staying in London for a light dinner. The waitering staff were helpful despite being very busy. The food was beautiful and tasty. Excellent value for money. The mint tea is lovely too.

Great food, for great prices. Most importantly they have great home made soups, which in London is not that easy to find.

We have been here a few times now and are always pleased. The hummus is absolutely to die for, one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot). The mixed grill is also really good, definitely recommend! Friendly and welcoming staff, great location and nice atmosphere - prices are decent for London too!

Have been coming here for years and cannot fault it. The food is exceptional and the staff are so very friendly. They have just introduced a dessert menu which is phenomenally good and very delicious! Can’t wait to come back.

First night in town and dinner at this restaurant has set the bar very high for this trip! The food was fantastic, the service was wonderful - Thank you Ronnie! The Mousakaat with fresh warm pitta was our favorite, and the Mixed Grill was delicious, the meat was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!! Oh, and the dessert of the day was Lebanese Cotton Candy - so good!!!

Went for lunch with my daughter who recommended The Cedar Restaurant. My first time there and not my last. We had Hummus, salad, a lamb wrap and a felafel wrap. It was wonderful. Fresh salad with so many taste sensations. Hummus and freshly made pitta bread that was an absolute delight. Finally the wraps topped off the best lunch I've had in years for the range of tastes and flavours. To drink we had a Lebanese beer and a coke. Total cost £35. Along with the service that was excellent, I would totally recommend The Cedar Restaurant.

Very nice Lebanese restaurant. Enough dishes are available at a price that can allow a meal for about £10. The food is good, and at lunchtime it seems like a good place to meet. Service is fairly quick.

Had the mixed grill, mixed shawarma, some salad and dips. All were delicious, not super expensive even with some wine (about £20 per person when the bill came) and lovely friendly staff.

Food is fantastic but unfortunately I cannot recommend them because their one of the stuff's young boy his behaviour not nice. Specifically over the phone he disappointed the customers.

Loved the food, everything we ordered was super tasty and we did not have to wait long despite the place being packed full. We were walking past it and decided to try it, went in to see it full but the staff did their best and got us a seat with a very short wait, despite us not having a reservation. Interiors are very nice and music wasn't too loud. There is a bar also with a decent choice. We went for only veggie items and everything was so tasty that we finished it all despite being full halfway through. The portion sizes are not small, so maybe our suggestion would be to avoid ordering too much in one go, order in steps since the food comes quite quickly. Would definitely recommend if you are nearby and in mood for some tasty Mediterranean-type food.

What a fabulous find. Truly authentic tasting food which not only takes fresh but was also really nicely presented too. The service was good and the staff were attentive and genuinely were interested in playing host. The prices are affordable, portion sizes are good to generous and menu range is wide and varied also. Have eaten here many times and service has been consistent throughout. Highly recommend as my local go to place for Middle Eastern cuisine.

Absolutely my favourite place for a takeaway. Tabbouleh, fattoush, maybe some hummous or grilled halloumi and a nice big mixed grill or two with rice (and baklava, no duh), and you have a fab night in plus good leftovers for a meal or two. So so so delicious!

A great Lebanese joint near West Hampstead: nothing fancy but they serve decent traditional food. We tried their lentils soup, fattoush salad, kofta and a vegetable medley. The portions are pretty large and their service was pretty fast for Saturday night.

Nice place and open space at the front. My food was a little too salty.

First time eating at this restaurant. The cold and hot mezzes were great but the main meals were terrible. Chips were old and soggy. Meats (chicken and lamb) were dry and salty. Baby chicken came burnt. Sat at a table that was at the back, no air or ventilation, squashed and no space to budge. My wife was 37 weeks pregnant but that didn’t seem to be a concern for them. Everyone was polite but it seemed like they were understaffed.

We just had a delivery from the cedar West Hampstead. It was AWFUL The rice was inedible - it tasted like it had been frozen and reheated and it tasted of the silver foil packaging. The salad was squishy and not fresh. The meat and fish were dry, chewy and overcooked. We have previously ordered many times from the cedar in Kilburn which has always been excellent. This meal from CEDAR West Hampstead was INEDIBLE

Wouldn't go back- Olives were oversalted - coffee was extremely bitter, chips were half frozen when they arrived- when I asked if they could put the meat in a container for the dog - they were too busy and refused Most of the staff were friendly except one. The staff were hard working and eager - the rest of the food was mediocre. Big shame that a few things let the team down as this could be a good restaurant. This was the West Hampstead branch

We have had starter houmus which was really weird taste, more like sour for some reason, we asked to waiter about it and he confirmed that was the normal taste! Then we ordered chicken shawarma and shish chicken with rice and chips! Rice was warmed up in microwave, chips ok, my chicken wasn’t fresh as it was more like crumbles, shish was bland no taste! I won’t recommend this place at all! Ohhh and we had atbtgen end then sweet pastry on the house which was really old as well! I have been in many lebanese resto but this one is not what I call a lebenese!😂😂😂🙈

This is a pleasant restaurant the food is tasty and affordable. The service was good we didn't need to wait to long for our food to arrive however it's important to note that they have a menu where you can scan a bar code but they did give us a menu as well, there is also a private bar below which is hidden away I peeped inside and it looked quite small and intimate. Overall this is an ok place to eat with a group of friends they also have a outside eating area.

The cedar restaurant is amazing if you want filling foods.Unlike other restaurants,it gives you a free starter and free desert and the services is fast and staff are amazingly friendly!That's why I give it 5 out of 5!Definitely will be going back!!
