We are so grateful to the Carriage Hall for hosting our charity celebration dinner. It was my first time planning an event like it and Cat was beyond helpful every step of the way to support us in making the evening a success. The venue is stunning and the size was perfect for our needs and helped to create a brilliant and intimate atmosphere, we’ve had wonderful feedback on the food from our guests, and the customer service really made the event. I am especially grateful for your flexibility when we made changes, patience with any questions and amendments to our table plan, thank you so much for going above and beyond.

Sadly we had to visit because of a funeral, however the room was perfect for the event and buffet was really really good.

Exceptional venue. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was the best quality and the taste was amazing. The venue itself was in such a beautiful place. I attended a wedding on the worst day but the carriage Hall was so amazing. Next door there is a lovely little restaurant where we had our breakfasts there again the quality was Exceptional like the Carriage Hall.

We have recently passed 6 months since our wedding with you (where has the time gone?!) and have been reflecting on how much we enjoyed our day. We were so impressed with all of the team, from the beginning of planning to the day itself. When we first visited for our viewing we could tell that they are a friendly, welcoming team. The venue is beautiful and well maintained, and we knew it was the right place for us. We could tell they genuinely cared about us as potential customers, and the events that they host. We valued them being upfront about costing and logistics in our planning meetings, and the experience of the staff members was evident throughout. Secondly - the food!! A family member mentioned to us how nice Perkins is soon after we booked, and when we came away from our wedding food tasting we couldn’t have agreed more. We know good food is such an integral part of hosting an event, and we’re still getting comments to this day on how good the food was. There were plenty of very satisfied tummies afterwards! The politeness and adaptability of the staff members is exceptional. We were running a bit late on the day and the staff quickly adjusted timings to account for this, ensuring no one noticed, and that no plate of food was cold. It helped keep this element of the day stress free as we could just enjoy the day and trust that they were in control. On the day my mum asked one of the waitresses about how they’d made a certain element of the food - I remember thinking that she probably wasn’t going to get a response as they were all so busy, but she came straight back having asked the chef for her. This is just one example of how polite and helpful all the staff were throughout the day and the evening, and it didn’t feel like anything was too much trouble. I’ve had a couple of comments from the vendors we hired to say how easy The Carriage Hall team are to work with, and how clear expectations on timings etc were. We could really trust that they were coordinating everything well and that we didn’t need to worry. The accommodation and breakfast the next morning were a lovely finishing touch. Having a couple of on-site options was a bonus, and we were so pleased to be able to arrange a larger breakfast at Perkins the morning after. It was a really special way to finish the weekend - one that all our guests thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you so so much

We had our wedding at the carriage hall recently this month. All I can say is WOW! honestly it was the best venue we could have ever imagined. Everything from the planning, to the service on the day. The way everything was put together- especially by our wedding planners Cat, Debs and Mel. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved every minute of the day. The venue is perfect for younger children too, as they have the balcony area to go on during the speeches. The outside area is also perfect and I honestly loved the inside, it’s beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone! I had so many comments throughout the day and since, saying it was the best wedding they’d been to. Can’t thank them enough! X

We can't thank the staff at The Carriage Hall enough for making our wedding day so amazing and exactly how we wanted it! From the first meeting with Mel, we could tell they are a very experienced team and she was so helpful in guiding us throughout the whole planning process. Nothing was too much trouble throughout the planning process and throughout the day. Thanks to Georgia and her team who were there on the day, it ran so smoothly and we didn't have to think about anything as they had it all in hand. The Shepards huts were also a really special place to stay on the wedding night. And of course the venue is absolutely stunning and has a really private feel to it. We had tapas for the wedding breakfast and everyone commented how delicious it was. All in all it was a perfect day!

Excellent venue for a wedding. Team are very well organised and helpful. Food was excellent, served hot and in a timely manner. All staff appeared happy with excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble on the day. Plenty of parking available on site within short distance from venue. Gardens well kept and pretty. Word of warning lawn is soft and no use with heels - although I did help with aerating it! Would be nice if they could develop the accommodation side further so that more of the wedding party could stay on site, on the wedding night. However, not with Shepherd huts! Whilst they had all the little touches you would expect, and very clean, a step for climbing on to the bed would have greatly improved the stay - if you're short and have ANY mobility issues I would stay elsewhere. One point to note - only fried breakfast, coffee, tea and toast offered to us next morning in restaurant. No menu to choose from or lighter options available. I would definitely recommend this venue for your wedding celebrations.

The food was incredible both on the day, and at the complimentary Perkins restaurant breakfast the next morning. At various points during planning, my now husband and I would express to each other that even if we had won the lottery, we still wouldn’t have wanted to get married anywhere other than The Carriage Hall, and I can honestly say we both still feel the same today.

Having organised many events at many different venues, I can honestly say the Carriage Hall is one of the best event spaces to work with. Very friendly, welcoming and extremely well organised, with a real can-do attitude. Nothing was too much trouble. Our event had many last-minute changes, which were all met.

We cannot thank the Carriage Hall enough for everything they did to help make our wedding day so perfect! From initial booking to the wedding day, the Carriage Hall communicated with us constantly, answering all our questions and allaying all our worries, stresses and concerns- no matter how small! Nothing was too much trouble- they even created a fully vegan tapas menu for our wedding breakfast, as having a fully vegan wedding was really important to us. On the day, everything was absolutely perfect - the Carriage Hall took care of everything so we did not have to worry about a thing- we could completely enjoy our day and everything went so much better than we could ever have hoped for! We have had so many compliments on the venue, the food and how well organised everything was! This is a truly beautiful setting for a wedding, with the most amazing food and helpful staff- we 100% would recommend this venue to anyone booking their wedding!

Ive photographed a few weddings here over the years and I can definitely recommend this venue to future couples. The venue itself is lovely, the staff are great and the food is amazing!

Very nicely located/connected with plenty of parking for many guests. There was champagne on arrival as well which was very nice. With an upstairs area, as well as outside seating it didn’t feel too crowded but you could still find a lost friend quite easily. Also well lit and ventilated and generally great atmosphere

From day 1 of viewing the carriage hall, through all the prep to the big day we cannot fault this stunning venue and all the staff that made our magical day come true. Nothing was too much trouble, all questions answered in a timely manner and they did everything they could to bring our vision to life. The food is probably the best I've ever eaten at any wedding, lots to fill healthy appetites. We want to thank each and every one of the wonderful staff at the carriage hall and I would highly recommend you to any bride and groom! Dean and I knew immediately when we first viewed The Carriage Hall that this was going to be our wedding venue. We got married in October 2022, and we cannot recommend the venue and the team highly enough. Cat was so very patient with me, with my constant amendments and questions across Cordero, as well as being extremely helpful and informative. We met with Shalome a couple of weeks before the wedding to have a final run down of the order of the day and iron out any creases – again, she listened to exactly what we wanted and no request was too much. On the day, Shalome and Georgia were so amazing, we didn’t always notice they were there, they just quietly ensured everything went so smoothly for us. I had a little sit with Georgia when it all got a bit too much towards the end of the night, and just had a chit chat, which was so lovely. Now, the food. We have had so may guests say that the food was the best wedding venue food they have ever tasted, and quite frankly we agree. Everything was absolutely to die for and knowing that we can go back at eat at Perkins whenever we like is honestly a dream come true. We got married at The Carriage Hall in November. From our first meeting with Mel to leaving the morning after the wedding after a night in one of the Shepherd Huts and a Full English at Perkins everything was incredible. Mel made the planning process completely stress-free and the whole Carriage Hall team made the day absolutely amazing. Everyone was so impressed by the amazing and friendly service, delicious food and beautiful setting. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special and enabling us to just enjoy it and have fun celebrating. We can't wait for many more visits to Perkins.

We fell in love from the first moment we set our eyes on the Carriage Hall. We wanted a traditional, secluded and intimate venue to celebrate our special day, and the Carriage Hall exceeded our brief. From the moment we paid our first deposit to saying goodbye on the morning after the wedding, the whole team treated us with kindness and remarkable professionalism. Nothing felt too small or too great to ask for. Wherever possible, they adapted to our needs (we had many of them!) to accomodate our intercultural African Wedding. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and the food was a real talking point. Would highly recommend.

Had an event here not long ago, the 3 course meal was one of the best meals I’ve had. The staff are very polite and friendly, the hall itself Id beautiful and clean. Great for a party. They handed out canapés before we all sat at our tables. A lovely experience overall. Only downside is that it cost £28 for two double rum and cokes. I think we’ll stick to a pint next time haha.

Perfect from start to finish, the team are friendly and held our hands through covid - being unbelievably accommodating. The food is unreal, the venue gorgeous (including the overnight shepherds huts), the day ran so seamlessly - it was everything we ever dreamed of.

Carriage Hall did everything they could to make our Wedding Day the most perfect day! From the very beginning it was so easy, when we first looked around the venue, to our food tasting, to the day itself, it was faultless! Whenever we had any questions whether it was at the beginning or right up to the end, these were answered straight away and always put our mind at ease. The day itself couldn’t of gone any better, the staff were amazing, so attentive and caring! The food was unreal, everybody couldn’t believe just how good it was. We couldn’t of picked a better venue and couldn’t of imagined getting married anywhere else so thank you all so much!

We had our reception at the Carriage Hall on 03/09/2022 and I am still so pleased with how smoothly and perfectly everything turned out! From the very beginning the whole team at the Carriage Hall made planning our wedding such a fun and stress-less experience, all our meetings were super helpful and the team were able to bring all our visions to life. I can't believe how relaxed I felt on the build up to our wedding day, as everything was taken care of and handled so brilliantly! The food was delightful, everyone raved about the wedding breakfast and many people have said the hash browns in the evening were the best they have ever had! The hall itself is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are just as great, it made for some stunning photos. We stayed in the Huts too and they were brilliant, and the view in the morning was another highlight of the weekend. We had a full english breakfast the next morning at Perkins and it was the perfect end to a perfect weekend. I want to say a huge thank you for catering to my dietary needs also, the catering team were super helpful throughout and were able to accommodate well to be needs and choices. Thank you all so much for your hard work and for being so hands on and helpful, the whole experience was absolutely incredible and the day could not have gone better!

My son and his partner's wedding venue... What a fantastic time was had by all! Everything from start to finish was made exceptional by the hard work and dedication to detail of ALL the staff involved. From the welcome of the guest, to the ceremony, to the dinner and then the evening function, all in the same room! the staff were simply wonderful! The food was of a very high standard, one of the best we've ever had! Compliments to Ian and his team in the kitchen! After such a fantastic day, we went back the following morning for a family breakfast in the restaurant.....yet again, this did not dissapoint...a most enjoyable full english with very attentive staff. Wonderful! The venue itself is very well presented. We will return for a Sunday lunch soon! Thank you ALL so much!

Visited for a lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This time the restaurant was in the Carriage Hall to allow for appropriate social distancing. Very well managed throughout our visit. The food was superb and at £20 for 3 courses of this quality it is great value for money.

Fabulous meal as usual with really friendly service. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone, it’s always a pleasure to eat there.

During these difficult Covid lockdown times we have sampled two “Gastronomic Series Takeaway Meals” the first was Greek and the Second, French from this highly recommended South Nottinghamshire restaurant. Both were excellent, well packaged with easy instructions to serve and heat where appropriate at home. Highlights in the Greek menu was a stunning Moussaka and in the Substantial French Dinner a French Onion Soup and GruyereToast which was a tremendous curtain raiser to this typical French dinner. So if you are bit blue and locked in I can highly recommend these “posh nosh” takeaways,so set the table, raid the wine cellar and relax together as a family.

Descubrimos que la sala funcionaba muy bien como espacio para eventos. Lamentablemente, estuvimos allí para un velorio, pero el área del balcón del entresuelo ofrecía una segunda área que se sentía separada de la planta baja y al mismo tiempo se sentía parte del mismo espacio general que funcionó muy bien. La comida también era bastante buena para un simple buffet frío.

Tuvimos la recepción de nuestra boda aquí hace cinco años y podría recomendarlo lo suficiente.Cuando vimos que se habían agregado Shepherds Huts y estaban disponibles para reservar después de Covid, no podíamos perder la oportunidad. ¡Aparentemente fuimos la primera reserva!Nos alojamos en el Great Oak en el paquete entre semana. Una ganga absoluta a 210 que incluía una noche en la cabaña, comida de tres platos, botella de vino y desayuno entregado en nuestra puerta por la mañana.La cabaña es enorme e impresionante con todo lo que puedas necesitar. Encantador tener algo de espacio al aire libre ya que el clima es tan bueno en este momento. Nos sentamos afuera antes y después de la comida y en el desayuno.¡Un lugar tan hermoso!El personal maravilloso como siempre y en todas partes se sentía maravillosamente limpio y seguro.¡Gracias! !

Nos casamos en The Carriage Hall hace seis meses y todavía no tenemos palabras para explicar lo increíble que fue el día.Nos reunimos por primera vez con el equipo de The Carriage Hall en agosto de 2018 cuando vimos el lugar e instantáneamente supimos que era donde queríamos casarnos. El equipo fue muy profesional y eficiente durante todo el proceso de planificación. Las reuniones regulares fueron útiles para ayudarnos a planificar el orden de nuestro día, la comida y el entretenimiento, etc. Nada fue demasiado problema. Fue una ventaja adicional que pudiéramos ver nuestro lugar varias veces antes del gran día, a medida que nuestras ideas evolucionaron, pudimos visualizar cómo funcionarían con el espacio disponible.Durante el día, todo transcurrió sin problemas y sin problemas. Wow! We had the most beautiful wedding reception at Carriage Hall. From planning to the big day all the staff were absolutely amazing and helpful! We were so lucky to have picked them for our wedding! Thank you all so much! The food was divine and all the guests absolutely loved it! Ending the evening in the shepherds hut was lovely followed by a family breakfast at Perkins! We had a wonderful wedding day. We felt really looked after by the team in the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. Lots of guests commented on how great the food was, we would definitely recommend.

We got married last week (22.12.19) at the Carriage Hall. From the minute we booked the Carriage Hall, we received nothing but great organisation and communication. During the ‘planning process’, Cat & Mel were really helpful - with Cat responding really quickly to my million questions. Debs was then great in the weeks leading up to the wedding in guiding us through the organisation of the day. The day was amazing and so many guests have said that’s it the best venue they have ever been to and that the food was unreal. The hall looked so beautiful - so perfect for our winter wedding. The smooth running of the day was also commented on by many guests - the team are so efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them. We can’t thank all the team at the Carriage Hall again - we just wish we could do it all again!xx

We have just celebrated my daughter's wedding here and have nothing but the highest praise. The organisation of the whole event was very efficient; the service - considering the staff were serving 100 people - was incredibly slick; the food itself was delicious and beautifully presented; the venue lent itself beautifully to an autumn wedding; the outside area was lovely for photos (the weather didn't allow us to spend much time outside though). I'd particularly like to mention Rachel, for whom nothing was too much trouble.

What a great venue! Stylish, with a great atmosphere. My son's wedding was made extra special by helpful and very efficient staff. The changes from the service to the wedding breakfast to the party were well organised and slick. The food was lovely and the service good. Thanks to everyone who made the bride and groom's special day go so smoothly. Perfect wedding, nevermind the weather.

Mis colegas y yo organizamos un evento nocturno privado aquí y fue genial. El edificio establece un ambiente increíble, la comida era excelente y satisfacía bien los requisitos dietéticos, pero lo más importante es que el personal fue genial. Desde Mel y Cat nos relacionamos antes del evento con todas las encantadoras damas que trabajaban en la noche, que eran sonrientes y amables con todos los invitados y nada era un problema cuando se les preguntó. Al organizar un evento como este, puede ser estresante asegurarse de que todo funcione sin problemas, pero el personal nos quitó la presión enormemente. Gracias de nuevo, sin duda volveremos.

We married at The Carriage Hall May 10th 2019 and the day was perfect! Our guests were amazed at the beautiful venue and the food, which was absolutely incredible, went down a treat. The shepherds huts with breakfast the following day was a lovely touch too. Throughout the planning for our big day the team were so helpful and nothing was too much to ask. We really did make the best choice in getting married here, and I couldn’t recommend enough ❤️

Well we are just back from the most fantastic wedding. From the moment we arrived attention to detail was fabulous. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The wedding breakfast was delicious and service was first class as the whole table were served together. Definitely one of the best I've been to. Keep up the good work!!!

Came here for a family wedding reception, excellent venue great band that night, food excellent. Bar prices are what they are in these kind of venues but overall a nice place.

My brother-in law and his beautiful wife were married here and both the ceremony and reception were stupendous. The afternoon meal was so tasty and filling. The outdoor area catered to the numbers and everyone had a seat.

This is a beautiful wedding venue , we had a day to remember !!! The setting, food and staff were excellent, very smooth transition from ceremony to meal to disco !!

Nuestra hija y yerno tuvieron su recepción de boda en The Carriage Hall el 29 de junio y el lugar perfecto que eligieron. Desde la primera reserva de la fecha (hace más de dos años) hasta el gran día, nada era demasiado problema. Todos quieren el día de bodas perfecto para su hija y definitivamente sentimos que recibimos eso para Rachel, en gran parte gracias a Cat, Jenna, Mel y todo el personal.

Nos casamos este fin de semana en The Carriage Hall. No recuerdo cómo nos encontramos con este lugar, pero qué feliz estoy de haberlo hecho. Lo primero que nos atrajo (¡excepto por lo hermoso que es!) Fue el tamaño, fue perfecto para el número de invitados a nuestra boda, y está a solo 15 minutos de nuestra casa. También nos encantó que todo estuviera en la misma habitación, que pudiéramos hacer la ceremonia, la comida y la fiesta en el mismo lugar. A esto se le añade el hecho de que tiran 3 lujosas cabañas de pastores para quedarse (la suite nupcial es bastante especial, tengo que decir ... ¡el baño de top roll era encantador!) MÁS brekkie en Perkins la mañana siguiente. . . . . En realidad, estaba marcando casillas que ni siquiera sabíamos que teníamos. Desde el primer contacto, todo el personal ha sido increíble. Un gran saludo a Cat, que nos ayudó desde el principio, siempre a mano para contestar cualquier pregunta que tuviéramos, y a Debs, que se aseguró de que todo fuera perfecto en el día. No podemos agradecer a estas mujeres lo suficiente. Los alimentos. . . . . . . . ! ! ! ! ! ! Si usted, como nosotros, disfruta de una buena comida, no se sentirá decepcionado. Fue absolutamente delicioso, varias personas comentaron que era la mejor carne que habían comido! Puede dar a sus invitados la opción de entrante, plato principal y postre (¡otra garrapata!) Nada fue demasiado problemático, se cumplieron todos los requisitos dietéticos y el día en que todos obtuvieron exactamente lo que habían pedido sin confusiones. Eso demuestra cuán bien organizado está este equipo. El vino fluía, todos estaban disfrutando de un momento brillante, la música se reproducía según nuestras peticiones (¡tuvimos varias listas de reproducción durante todo el día!)

En marzo, recibí una fiesta benéfica negra en la sala de carruajes para 120 invitados. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar! !

We went to the Carriage Hall for a friends wedding and were so impressed. 96 people to feed, all the food came out hot and was lovely, they all knew what everyone was having so there was none of the usual “I don’t know what I ordered” at big events. The venue itself is really nicely appointed and so well run, it was all done very well! Spot on!

We came here for the wedding evening party. The location is excellent and was very well presented. The drinks and the food were good. We had a great time here.

Visited here for a work function. Was most impressed. Lovely building with tasteful interior. Ran the event like a well oiled machine. There were approximately 100 of us yet the food arrived promptly, was hot and tasted delicious. Staff were excellent but unobtrusive. Lovely place

El proceso desde la reserva, la planificación hasta el día mismo fue impecable y ayudó a mantener nuestros niveles de estrés al mínimo. El día en sí transcurrió sin problemas y fue incluso mejor de lo que imaginábamos. La organización en el día fue tan impresionante y la comida fue absolutamente deliciosa. Desde entonces, hemos recibido tantos comentarios de huéspedes que dicen lo hermoso que es The Carriage Hall y lo perfecto que fue el día. Las cabañas del pastor son encantadoras y la suite nupcial es muy romántica. Definitivamente lo recomendaría.
