We visited for a coffee and a snack. Lovely setting with lots of seats and great interior. Location is ideal for walking up to Arthur’s Seat which is what we did. Good variation of cakes and friendly staff

We wanted a special Afternoon Tea and while it was fine I would not recommend it. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The food was ok - some pastries were fantastic while others were just ok. There is no view of the palace - you are seated in the cafe w few windows. Skip this tea and fine another place

We booked online and arrived early due to the bad weather. The waitress could not have been more helpful and showed us to our table. Tea was ordered and refilled. We had afternoon tea which was delicious. I swapped a sandwich for another option due to dietary preferences and this was accommodated easily. Jam and cream were replenished for our scones.

Great place for a nice cup of tea and a piece of cake. You can also reserve a table and enjoy a cream tea after enjoying your tour around the palace. Really popular with the ladies.

Very clean, large room for eating. You grab your food and take it to the dining room. Beautiful view from one area. Chips, tea, coffee. Several desserts to choose from. No one rushes you out, so it’s a good place to take a break.

My friend and I love an afternoon tea, and I think this is the best we have ever had. The staff member who served us was so kind, friendly, and just lovely really! Made us feel so welcome. The food was so tasty and well presented. I loved how there was caviar on the salmon- made you feel very fancy whilst in the palace grounds 😊 I have already recommended afternoon tea here to other friends, and cannot wait to go back

After 4 cancellations - covid 19 reasons - we had afternoon tea today. It was one of the best we have had and both the food and our server - Emma - was of the most highest standard . Nothing was too much trouble and we can only say a big thank you for a lovely experience

Afternoon tea today albeit they very kindly let us have it for brunch/lunch due to our time constraints. The Manageress was so accommodating and we really appreciated her help. Emma who served us today was so professional and very friendly. The food was plentiful and everything was fresh and very tasty and they changed things to take into account my dislike of cheese. Highly recommended, thank you for looking after us.
