The venue is mature in its ways with a touch of intelligence. Everything is well thought out. The food is elegant and the bar has lots to offer compared to an average pub/restaurant which is why it's called a gastro pub 😉 the garden area is stunning and your sat right by the river. It's a quirky venue with a massive sprinkle of elegance

A comfortable and friendly pub on a cold day, with very good local and other real ales on tap and ciders, the inevitable (but interesting) gin menu and charming staff. My first visit (for a work Xmas do) was very positive. Thoughtful choices despite being the Xmas menu, nicely presented and tasty dishes; vegetarian and vegan options were available and good. Very reasonable pricing. The place has a really nice feel to it: I'll be back once normality returns after Xmas!

Went with my daughter & her boyfriend for my daughter's birthday. Had often considered going and had heard varying reviews but we decided it was a hood opportunity to try somewhere different! My daughter was disappointed that the two choices she wanted - the scallops and the pork belly were off the menu the night we went but we all enjoyed our meals. I had the terrine to start - it did say with warm crusty bread which was stretching the truth but the terrine was tasty, my daughter had the soup and her boyfriend the salmon. For mains I had lamb which was delicious and the others had chicken and the field mushroom burger. Disappointing sweet menu but we were full so it didn't really matter. Considering it was a Tuesday it was fairly busy and only one waitress on so we chose not to have coffee as the service had dwindled. However, all in all the positives out way the negatives and is certainly worth a visit for a special occasion.

Moruzzi & Co

06/03/2019: A really nice lunchtime visit. I had never eaten here before but had heard many good reports on the place. The menu caters for a wide range of tastes and budgets. The food really was excellent, the fish option I went for was Hake and chips which you don't often get. The Hake shoulders were fresh and chunky and wrapped in a crunchy batter with an excellent taste. Chips were rreally good, skin on and crunchy. The place itself is on two levels, plenty of room and very unassuming. I don't know if you can describe a place as 'chilled' but if you can, this is it. Staff all great and keen to please. I think the menu changes for the evening, don't know what that is like yet, that will be my next visit.
08/03/2019: One of the oldest and most popular Cafe Restaurants in Neath. Very limited on street parking outside, otherwise it's a nightmare.
