Let me make a point first. They make PROPER PIES here. That is a filling entirely encased in pastry. Not a ladle of casserole in a dish with a pastry lid and zapped in some multi-function oven, these are PROPER PIES. And they taste amazing. The rest of the food is very good too, the fish and chips served up still sizzling, a superb fillet of hake served in a crispy batter on a bed of minted pea puree. We sat by the kitchen and I watched the rest of the meals coming out, all looked good. Well worth a return. The staff were all great, the place has been recently done out but looks comfortably lived in and a bit quirky.

From the moment you walk into this place you feel at home, it just doesn't feel like a pub....friendly staff, great background music no telly's or fruit machines and the food was to die for. You really must visit this place

We visited as a family on recommendation of one of the family members who had been before - I found it a little odd to pay such a large deposit to reserve a table of 8, but maybe that is usual these days ? There was a lovely atmosphere and the service was excellent - there was only 1 meal of sausage and mash that was sent back (mash lumpy and sausages not too nice either) - a new meal of something different was provided without any fuss but would have been good for the chef to come out and see what the issue was - but everyone else enjoyed their meals - reasonably priced and would probably revisit.

Tiffanys at the coach house

24/01/2018: I went to this charming restaurant/function room with my wife and a group of friends for a Cabaret/Carvery evening on Sat 27th May 2017, we were warmly greeted by the lovely husband and wife owners who escorted us to our table. The Carvery was a great dining experience with a choice of 3 freshly carved meats and freshly cooked veg all piping hot, washed down with a fine wine followed by a few beers whilst relaxing to the very entertaining cabaret once the meal was finished. A first class night and one to remember and all for the princely price of £9.95 per person, fantastic value for money. We would highly recommend Tiffany's but would advise to book, we will definitely be going back.
04/03/2018: We are regular customers here as it is the best Sunday lunch around. Great food. The veg is perfectly done. Lemon tart is delicious. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. We will be back again soon.
