The Bridge Mediterranean Bar & Restaurant in Reigate and Banstead

Celebrated my husbands 60th Birthday on 6th April 2024. What a fantastic night! The restaurant was full, the atmosphere fantastic, food delicious, served hot and portions big! Drinks & cocktails flowing. Service was excellent. Added bonus was entertainment on the night. We were a party of 22 and everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you very much for making his special birthday one to remember!!!!

Went here on the off chance. I have been to many Turkish’s and this was top notch, beautiful modern interior and well kept and clean, up to date with drinks, vibe and menu doesn’t miss a thing. All the Turkish classics! The drinks from the get go were unbelievable and the service was so fast together with the chicken sheesh 10/10 I am so satisfied with this place!! Definitely give it a visit you won’t be disappointed!!

Everything was awesome at Bridge. I specifically loved the Espresso Martini!

Best lamb shish ever. Also try espresso martini beforehand. End with baklava.

We were late for lunch (~14:30) and was delighted to find this restaurant open and still have many customers in there. You would normally expect a Turkish restaurant to have a more exotic name but it’s called the Bridge as it is part of the bridge over the Tadworth station built around 1900, which makes it v interesting. The food was very nice, the chicken and lamb shish kebab were excellent. Everything else was also very delicious (salad, hummus, calamari etc) . We had a great time and service was good.

Had a most delightful evening not only due to the food, I had the shrimp starter followed by a delicious mixed grill but we were very well entertained by the belly dancer who did an excellent job of interacting with the customers

What a great restaurant, the atmosphere is comfortable and clean well laid out tables with space. Menu is good and varied and the service was attentive. The Belly Dancer was an added highlight.

Always love going to this place. The food is amazing and all of the staff are really friendly. We’ve taken our baby with us a couple of times and they’ve always been very accommodating.

The bridge is my local Turkish restaurant. Our go to place for meeting friends and family. Food is always great. I’m glad they now open for lunch as well with a reasonably priced lunch set menu. I’ll be visiting more now for business lunch meetings.

Superb food, service and atmosphere, I really cannot recommend “The Bridge” enough. We are local, but only just started using it. It is certainly our first choice for a night out from now.

Went in early this evening with my mum and my daughter and was so impressed. We were made to feel very welcome and we were well looked after, it was very clean and the restaurant looked fab. The food beautifully presented and very delicious. I would highly recommend!

Outstanding food. I ordered the chicken and lamb shish for my main. Very tender meat, and generous portion size. For starter, I recommend the baba ganus and the calamari. Great service and friendly staff. Strongly recommend a visit!

Went for a Meal on a Friday night with some Friends and I have to say we had a Wonderful evening, the Food was lovely, the Staff were very helpful and the Atmosphere & Vibe was good as well, on a Friday and Saturday the Restaurant plays some Music when people have normally finished their meal and people can get up and dance if they want to. I can’t find any fault with this place and will definitely be back there in the near future, thanks to the Bridge for a Top Evening

We were three friends out for a birthday meal. I’d never heard of this restaurant but one of us was a vegan so was limited to where she could eat. Anyway, I found The Bridge and I’m glad I did. It was delicious! They serve Mediterranean food. We had a mezzo platter to share, which was lovely. And then I had a lamb stew which was delicious and so tender. Gorgeous! The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Nothing to fault at all and we shall be returning.

Sad to read the review below, yes most of the waiting staff are young, but very polite and efficient. Any questions they didn't know, I am sure they would respectfully respond, and go and ask the owner if necessary. Food was delicious, catered for a very fussy pair of teenagers, a vegetarian, and a meat eater. The cocktail was fabulous too! We will be back.

Waiting staff all very young, expect 16/17 year olds, did not understand the menu, wines etc. Were not able to answer any questions about the food, not even sure we got what we ordered, when we asked they were not sure either!!! Food was tasty, small portions for the money.

Well what can I say, this is the 3rd time I have been to the Bridge and every experience was fantastic, the staff are lovely and the food is out of this world. I can't wait to go again 🥰

We went here on a Saturday night and had a lovely evening. The food was fantastic, cocktails were amazing but the wine was a bit questionable but I think it was out wrong choice though. I love the atmosphere with the music and belly dancing too

Very good food overall. The starters were excellent with fine filo pastry and excellent humus and other dips. The mains were also tasty - though my lamb stew lacked much meat. The music is loud on a Friday evening at least. which made conversation difficult , but if you want a lively atmosphere it certainly provides that. My main issue was the prices - noticeably expensive, particularly the significant mark up on the wines.

We had the most wonderful evening here last night. Everything was perfect. Each dish that came to the table was beautiful and so delicious, the service was impeccable and the music and dancing really enjoyed by us all. The atmosphere was so much fun and we really want to thank you for making our 31st celebration such a good one. You have really got it just right. X

Food was superb. Perfectly cooked lamb cutlets and a fantastic drinks selection. Service is excellent and staff are so welcoming.

My Wife and I went to dinner with 4 friends on a Friday night and had a really enjoyable evening. It was the first time we had visited by 2 of our friends are regulars and recommended that we tried it. So glad that we did - the food and the atmosphere was very good. And the Manager and his staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all I was very impressed and will be going back soon !!

Went for my Birthday 19 Nov,lovely vibrant Restaurant friendly staff,food was first class,but disappointed in my Ribeye steak when it arrived,steak was lovely but served with only chips,could have had some mushrooms maybe tomatoes, but all in all Great Evening,will be back

We love this place. Great food and lovely staff. We've been many times and already looking forward to our next visit. Maybe I should also mention that the prices are very reasonable too!

This place has the most amazing steaks within M25. Also the escalope and the lamp is on a different level should have 5 star. Try the halumin and the feta cheese as well.

Visited a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the experience and food but went back a couple of months ago and was very disappointed as it seems the potions have shrunk but the prices have gone up. I had the monk fish which was over £20 but was chewy and over cooked. I mentioned to the waiter but it was brushed away. Wouldn't go back.

Wasnt actually going 2 say anything until I saw the restuarants comment so here goes...Awful restaurant...every drink we asked for off the menu they did not have ! And had the cheek 2 serve a Strawberry Daiquiri with ZERO alcohol..must have thought i had MUG written on my forehead ! Honestly ! Knew we should have left the restaurant there and then but gave them the benefit of the doubt...hoping perhaps after I finally managed 2 get a drink that they actually did have that the food would make up 4 it...but No..husband compared his Shish to an airplane meal..all the meat that was on his plate was 2 cubes of chicken & lamb..joke ! And the lamb shank I was served was absolutely tasteless with the smallest portion of veg I have ever seen..think there was a total of 1 roast potato cut in half 2 make it look more..pretty poor. Would have got more in a microwave meal. Perhaps if the waitress listened then the starter would have been correct in the 1st place also. Just one problem after another, whilst I appreciate mistakes do happen I have never experienced a night out like this..Will be sure never 2 return

The staff were really nice and the layout/decor was great. I did think they had a belly dancer on a Saturday but unfortunately they seemed a little quiet and no dancer in the two hours we were there. Food wise what we ate was nice but the portions are ridiculously small. We had wished we ordered a few sides with our mains however when paying £22 for a dish you shouldn’t really need to. I also wished we hadn’t bothered ordering the sharer platter starter as it had 8 items on it (4 each as was a platter for 2) for £18 seemed a bit extortionate. I personally wouldn’t go again as I didn’t feel we got value for money with the bill coming in at £364 for 9 of us (7 adults and two kids). Big thanks to the staff though for bringing out the birthday cakes and making us feel special. Just a shame prices aren’t more reasonable.

We ate here last night. We were booked for 10 people however one of our guests did not turn up because they had Covid. I was a little disappointed as the portions were quite small. It was the first time we’ve ever eaten here so I don’t know if it was just bad luck. I ordered my meal and a side dish to come with it. My meal turned up and no side dish. My meal definitely needed the side dish with it as it was quite small. I had to wait a further 15 minutes for my side order. By this time my meal would’ve been cold. They had forgotten the side order so it had to be prepared. I asked if they could take my meal back and heat it or keep it warm. By the time I got mine everyone else had finished. It was actually my birthday so a little disappointed to eat on my own. They don’t offer soda water on tap. So a soda water with your drink was nearly £4. We had chosen this venue because we understood there would be a belly dancer as was looking for a party experience. We were sad to find out there was no belly dancer and no explanation for why she did not make an appearance. Three of us wanted the lamb shank and and the restaurant had run out. We were booked for 730 and would’ve ordered by 8 pm. I did get the lamb shank which in itself was beautiful however should’ve come with mash and there was absolutely no mash instead there were three tiny little new potatoes. Thankfully the side order I had chosen was sauté potatoes. I have eaten in many similar restaurants with the same cuisine. And all though the quality of food was good. I do feel you need to look at your portion sizes. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The food was nice but just not enough of it. In your response to my daughters review you have said you have a policy for no children in the evening. We did ask if children were allowed and you said this was okay. Our children sat at the table and didn’t move from their seats and were impeccably behaved. The staff were really nice I can’t fault them. It is very rare that I feel the need to leave a negative review and I really hope that you can improve on this because you do have a lovely restaurant.

My Favourite restaurant in Tadworth, and all my friends now too Food great the staff are just wonderful and the food speaks for it self fresh and delicious and entertainment is fun

Great food - a combination of authentic Turkish dishes with other Mediterranean influenced options. The staff were very accommodating and aware of dietary requirements. Have been twice now and enjoyed it both times, will definitely be back again!

So slow one course in hr and half took about half hr to get asked if we wanted drinks 🤔🤔🤔no offer of mint sauce etc 🤔shame nice place but let down with this slow service puts me off coming back 🤔🤔🤔
