We got carvery tonight, it was very Beautiful foods and delicious cheesecake. Friendly staff. Price is great compared to the quality service. Amazing place for a cozy night.

We visited the Bridge tonight to celebrate our Son’s Birthday. As always, the welcome by staff is first class. We all enjoyed a beautiful meal. The carvery was outstanding, piping hot, extremely tasty with delicious tender meat. This is why it is our favourite place to eat. Thank you for another lovely visit. Well done Team Bridge.

Family birthday, staff friendly and helpful. Meals were delicious, i normally have the carvery bur had a change this time.

11 of us visited for my grandparents 65th annniversary. Amazing meal with fab service on a very busy night. The bridge staff couldn’t have done more for us highly recommend

Having been here many times before we knew the food would be excellent. We chose to have the carvery which was extremely nice. We will go go again in the very near future.

Took a while to be seated, 15 minutes, then we had to try and make eye contact to order food. There were loads of staff who seemed more interested in waiting for tables to be vacated rather than looking after customers waiting to order. Loads of staff milling around but very poorly organised system. We had carvery, there was chewing gum stuck to the bottom of my plate which was off putting to start. The staff member at the carvery was doing other things rather than serving customers. Beef was nice, turkey not so nice - bland. Veg was overcooked, lukewarm and soggy. Price was reasonable and the puds were nice. I’d heard such wonderful reviews from friends about this place so I was very disappointed.

My my the Sunday roast here .... the best I have ever had .. was amazing and the apple pie was to die for ! We will be back thank you again! The bridge you are amazing 👏

After a lovely local walk we decided to stop in for some food. The food served was delicious and warm and will definitely be popping in again.

The Bridge offers a great Sunday roast. The food was excellent and the service exceptional. The place is very clean and has an nice homely atmosphere.

I recommended this restaurant to my colleagues. The booking system was faulty but I had confirmed by phone. The meal itself was lovely and we had a lovely time. However, when I went to pay, the waitress served two other customers before me. I was in discomfort with my stomach condition, and when another lady came out of the kitchen I commented that I had been waiting. Where a simple apology would have sufficed, she rather tartly and loudly commented ‘Oh well, we’ve been VERY busy.’ Such attitude! My friends turned around in surprise, and that was the end of the generous tip we were going to donate. It totally soured my mood after a nice time having lunch. I feel silly for recommending that place now. It has changed hands and has also removed the lovely salad bar. I didn’t appreciate the sarcastic ‘Have a nice day’, again, in a raised voice, either as we were leaving. I was going to say something back to you, but my manners are better than that, and besides, more people will read this. I won’t be back again, which is unfortunate, but I think you need to put some staff training in if you want to keep your business running.

We both had carvery...it was fabulous. Busy today so best to book. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Well worth a visit

Excellent. The best buttermilk chicken burger I've ever had. The music in the restaurant was also great. Brilliant service from the staff; they were very on point. Very reasonable pricing. No complaints.

Upon arrival,we were greeted by the warm atmosphere. We began the experience with he pulled pork burger; it was stunning as feedback from me and my beloved brother. It was a diverse menu stretching from curries to a wide variety of burgers, which were all thoroughly enjoyed by all the relatives. My younger sister and three cousin were continually impressed by the explosions of flavour from each mouthful finishing off the night with an exquisite brownie ice cream sundae. The waiters were pleasant and the table service was second to none. In conclusion this was an unforgettable night, and we would like to pass on our greatest thanks to the staff and friendly locals for providing a lovely atmosphere.

This is a pub that also does food. There is off street car parking available. The dining/restaurant area was were warm and comfortable. The food served was well cooked and was well presented, The food was tasty. Those in our party thoroughly enjoyed the food and would want to return there in the future. We are more than happy to recommend the place to others

Sunday lunch...very busy but good service and food was excellent.

A bump in the road of life drew us here. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere greeted us. Friendly faces and warm chatter took the edge off the evening chill. We only drank, but the food looked very enticing. We drank and chatted about the events that had brought us here, attempting to form a strategy. The only conclusion reached, was that we'd return.

Lovely staff can’t fault them, but the carvery was terrible Yorkshire’s like bricks veg all from a packet nothing fresh about it! And Wots with the stuffing just crumbs…and to say not even hot on the slightest…and don’t get me started on the gravy more lumps the. if my 7 yr old made it…. terrible don’t waste your money not wot it use to be even in the slightest.

Food wasn't as expected used to be fantastic, fish was wet and soggy , then the sweet which was nice but it came with not fresh cream but squirty cream , I hate squirty cream it's so synthetic.

Had food there on Tuesday with family the rump steak was done perfect and enjoyed the only quibble was the chips they could have been cooked more not crisp enough thought they were quite pale and soft otherwise we enjoyed

Carvery is one of the best around, always plenty of choice and fresh. Quick service with main menu meal, staff friendly and helpful

When I called in for a pint, I was impressed with the Buffet on offer and the number of happy diners. I placed The Bridge on my list of places worth retuning to for a meal.

Took my wife to The Bridge, for an early birthday meal. We were attended to and sat at table within a minute, and were told that due to how busy it was, that food orders were taking approximately 15 minutes, which was fine for us. We had our drinks order taken, and had drinks with us in less than 3 minutes. We ordered our food, and chatted as we waited. Food was delivered to our table, and well inside the 15 minute timeline. Wife had gammon that she really enjoyed, and I had rump steak. I like my steak blue, and can be very fussy about it being overdone, however the steak I received was perfectly done and very tasty. The attentiveness of all the staff made you feel special, and at home. It was only our second time at The Bridge, but can honestly say that we will be back in the very near future. The Bridge is one of our favourite places to eat out. The service is second to none. I booked a meal for a group of people on Christmas Eve, and we had a wonderful time - as always, the staff were so accommodating and friendly, and the meals were highly praised by all. There's plenty of choice on the menu too. I prefer vegetarian food but my husband loves meat, so it's great to have a good range of meals to please us both.

We had a great time for our son’s birthday meal with the family . Excellent food, Excellent service. 1 small issue was that there was no disabled access to the toilets .

Visited in early December looking for a venue to hold an after-funeral event before Christmas. Alex, Nick and the team were extremely helpful & friendly. We stayed for lunch and were served by Pamela who was also very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. We had our wake event in the conservatory with 22 people and a finger buffet, tea & cofffee provided. There was a good selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes and other items and the total cost was very reasonable compared to other potential venues we had visited. Would highly recommend The Bridge for good good food and excellent service.

Absolutely beautiful meals! Staff were so attentive and helpful. Our waitress, who mentioned was very new to the Bridge, did an outstanding job of looking after our table. We did have two coeliac with us and she was more than willing to check what was safe for them to have . Everyone was extremely friendly and professional and fab with the kids. Highly recommend the Bridge for a lovely meal out. Thankyou for a wonderful evening!

We’d heard good things about The Bridge so booked a table for Sunday lunch . Arrived at allocated time and received a warm welcome and shown to our table . Ordered wine and went to the carvery buffet for the main course . We selected our meats and helped ourselves to the vegetables on offer which were plentiful. The consistency of the gravy resembled chocolate sauce but hey-ho give it a try .On returning to our table we found the vegetables to be warm/tepid , lacking salt and generally bland , but the meat was very nice . We both left most of the veg but the meat was succulent . I don’t normally eat more than one course but I’d consumed so little I ordered the lemon tart and my wife had the cheesecake which was very enjoyable . Would I recommend the Bridge , I’m afraid not , it was quite disappointing. Will we return there , sorry , but no . I understand that the business has changed hands , perhaps they should ask advice from the previous owners as the carvery was much better previously .

Absolutely stunning carvery. All home cooked and the . Loved the swede. And the beef and gravy were spot on Best meal around.

We had a very enjoyable visit to this establishment. With excellent staff, a warm, friendly atmosphere and excellent food, what more could we need or want. And if a carvery is what you want, its deck is full of sumptuous cooked beef, chicken, as I only ate those, i don't remember the other available meats. All the vegetables were beautifully cooked, and with stuffing and gravy, it was on with the array of sauces available. The next step was, minding the steps to eat in the restaurant to devour the food. There is an area with no steps, and wheelchair access is available. Talk to a member of staff to arrange. They are most accommodating. We had a beautiful time. Thoroughly recommend.

Went to The Bridge with friends for Christmas lunch. Excellent three course menu and good prices. Thoroughly enjoyable meal and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will revisit.

We visited The Bridge on Saturday (09/12/23) for a family birthday celebration. There were over 30 of us there and the place had many more parties in for meals. This however by no way took away the quality of service and attention. We were served quickly and with care. The staff were brilliant and took care of our every need as well as making sure that the 'birthday girl' was well looked after. Sorting the individual bills out was seamless and swift and staff were aware and caring regarding my current mobility issues. I can see why the place is busy and it is well worth booking to enjoy what it offers. The warm apple pie was DELICIOUS. We hope that the staff had chance to take a breath and can enjoy the upcoming Christmas when everyone else has been fed and watered!! We hope to visit again when we are in the area. Sharon & Viv

Table at 1pm for 4 people , the staff kept looking to see if we were finished our mains from 1.30pm , they wanted people in and out as quick as they could , it was like a fair ,people everywhere. We left at 2pm as we then had people standing next to the table waiting to sit down . Couldnt park in car park, no room, drove around the streets for ages looking for somewhere to park. Really busy, dont understand why, Food was average .

Having visited Llanelli for a funeral today, The Bridge was the venue for the wake. The staff were really welcoming and helpful, the food was good and the environment had the perfect balance of modern and contemporary with cosy and warm.
