We visit this local cafe regularly. They serve a wide variety of food, from traditional English breakfast, through Burgers to middle-Eastern Humus & salad. Coffee is great, and you can even get a beer ! Makes a good spot for a "different" Sunday lunch.

Reviews for this café were mixed, and I gave it a chance. I visited on a weekday morning, just after opening. It was not busy and I sat outside. The house breakfast was great value and cooked well. The eggs had no uncooked white yet the yolk still soft. The hash browns were the star of show, more tasty than others I've had elsewhere. The sausage I'd describe as café standard. I've had better in fancier places, but this isn't that. Quite frankly when looking around for cafés open early for breakfast you're not spoiled for choice. I'd come from a neighbouring village, and was most satisfied with my visit.

Nice hot cup of coffee, excellent piece of carrot cake (gluten-free), wash room is always kept clean and fresh. I did notice that several people had chosen a brunch meal which looked very good - certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.

Four thirsty cyclists called in yesterday and were lucky enough to find there was a table free inside, but had there not been, there are plenty of picnic tables outside - perfect in the summer where you can also keep an eye on your bikes! We all enjoyed coffee or tea and also some of the delicious cakes, which arrived with added extras like a dash of cream and/or chocolate sauce and even ice cream In the case of the apple tart! Delicious! Really friendly and efficient staff too. Will definitely be going there again as they also offer great breakfasts and lunches.

Honestly the best coffee around I was there all morning revising for an exam and the staff were very respectful and polite.

We had a lovely lunch here whilst visiting the area, and decided to return for breakfast a couple of days later. We sat outside with our dogs and they even offered us some water for them. Great value for money and tasty food.

My family often pop in and do a breakfast takeaway so when I was there I asked for sausage and fried onion roll how can something so simple be so delicious the roll was brilliant as was the tasty sausage planning to go back and grab another

Stopped to get takeaway coffees - really nice and so was the milkshake. Really friendly people too. Great little find.

Visited here after an overnight transatlantic flight. The staff are friendly and the food was delicious. Just what we needed. They do breakfasts all day. We arrived at 0900 on a Sunday morning. Set me up for the day.

Came here at lunch, friendly and cosy atmosphere with a very nice chef.Had a jacket potato with prawn mayo and side salad (less keen).SInce I am at school and out on a village pass at lunch, I was pleased with the food and time.Got free sauce and overall liked it.Good for pupils out on a village pass

Ate breakfast here on both days of a 2 day trip, was very good. Service excellent and staff very friendly, well worth a visit.

Reserved a table last minute for my daughters birthday breakfast and this is where she wanted to go! We heard great reviews about this little place. And it did not fail us atall! Greeted with a smile and a happy birthday for my daughter! Amazing service staff are so happy and friendly. Food was perfect. Recommended a visit if your in the village 100%. 10 out of 10 thankyou!!

Popped in for a snack while passing through the village. Took a chance on the homemade, vaguely named “moist cake” - it was delicious. Staff are so friendly - recognised all the customers by name. Had a flat white too which was perfect! Very reasonably priced too.

Dived off the main road en route to a funeral service in Suffolk from South West Herts, after reading good reviews here. Really excellent. Delicious food and very friendly service. Can highly recommend the felafel (not the least bit dry) and the Turkish chocolate cake made my the owner’s wife. A refreshing change from Starbucks etc and highly recommended. Also beautifully clean.

I popped in here whilst out for a good cycle.Atti the owner is well known in the village after working with his cousin on the balaban kebab van in the village. The cafe is spotless, fantastic range of homemade cakes, sandwiches, panini, all day breakfasts and coffees. I went for a coffee and flapjack, great tasting and moist. Service was fantastic too!

I love to stop off here to sit down with a cup of coffee and a cake and watch the world go by. Their breakfasts look good too.

This I'd a tiny cafe will a good range of drinks and snacks. There a a small number of seats inside and many more outside. Worth a visit

I am frequently in this place. It is my local cafe and Atti who runs is is so friendly and can’t do enough to make sure that your visit is a good one.

been here a couple of times and going again today for the third time. Fab omelette and chips, today trying the all day breakfast, cannot wait. Would love it if they started to do takeout meals to take to colleagues at work :)

Lovely little cafe in Sawston. Open 8 to 4pm most days I think and a great place for a hot food snack. The bread for the buttie was a delicious ciabatta roll. 2.95

Recently changed hands, this cafe never seemed to have much buzz about it, but then comes Ati and man that for 11 years worked on the kebab van that often parked outside the Brickhouse in the evenings. Wanting to be able to spend more time with his family, Ati bought this cafe and has drawn in loads of people from Sawston because he is so friendly and he just delivers the most amazing value for the breakfasts and sandwiches and other meals that he provides. With a wonderful selection of cakes that are baked by his wife, Fatma, this cafe gives a wonderful warm welcome, wonderful value and I am so pleased that it is walking distance from my home in this lovely village. BTW if you work from home, the wifi is great too in this place!!

Oh my god! The breakfasts that Ati serves are the best. I want to try other things on the menu, but I keep going back to what I know is just the best breakfast I've ever had!

This cafe has recently changed hands and the new owner is very friendly and the food excellent. The All Day Breakfasts are great and the food menu is both comprehensive and very reasonable. The facilities are spotlessly clean. The cafe is open 7am to 3pm Mon to Sat and is now open on Sundays from 9am to 2pm.

A new addition since I was last in Sawston- many years ago! This place is great. Excellent food, lovely cup of tea, superb friendly service and a spotless environment. Well worth visiting!

We piped in to have a quick snack and oh boy was we amazed the staff was lovely and the place was spotless as well as that it had an amazing atmosphere we sat outside in the sun and it was loverly!

We come in here regularly for a hot drink and a piece of the home made cake by the owner. Her cakes are extremely tasteful.

El Brickhouse era anteriormente un wc público cerca del centro de Sawston. El consejo vendió. ahora es un pequeño, pero elegante cafetería. Hay cuatro mesas por dentro, y unos pocos más afuera. Aquellos preocupados por su antiguo uso no es necesario. Si no sabes, no te podrá decir, pero si necesitas una, todavía hay un wc. Mi esposa y yo tomamos el té y tarta por menos de £5 por los dos de nosotros.
