The Brayford Wharf Harvester in Lincoln

Wanted a quick meal before going to the Engine Shed so walked into harvester, wasnt very busy so service was quick and good, both had flavoured sodas, food was halloumi flatbread and battered halloumi and chips, tasty and a decent amount of halloumi (unlike last Harvester visit). Nothing to complain about other than the tomatoes at salad bar were cold and tasteless (as always at Harvester), better quality needed I think.

Atmosphere was lively. Food was deliciously scrummy, thumbs up to Jimmy the Chef and our courteous, friendly Server Brit.

Had a lovely evening meal. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Joe, our server. The food was well cooked by Alex and came quickly. Tom the assistant manager was great too. Thank you - we’ll visit again.

Staying next door so decided to come here for dinner. Not been to harvester in a while. Salad bar could have done with a refill but food still the same. Starters came quick and the mushrooms were delicious. Mains followed and were just as tasty. No jacket spuds so had to have mash but it was tasty. We enjoyed our meal and the service was good.

Myself and three others came in today for a birthday treat and all started off great. Started off with a lovely member of staff who took us to our table and seated us. We ordered 4 meals from the small plates section, two flatbread with Cajun chicken, and a flatbread with steak, two Mac and cheese's and two garlic breads. We asked for all the food to come at once but the four small plates came first and the mains alot later. Did ask about this and was told the tablet did not send this detail to the main computer which I found odd but accepted that as all good so far. The steak flatbread came and i had asked for medium to well and it came close to rare so asked for it to be cooked more, then two chicken flatbreads came but one was Cajun the other plain goujons so was told my daughter would have to wait for the other Cajun to be cooked so she had to sit with no food for another 15 Minutes. It came and sadly the chicken didn't look cooked correctly and was chewy and pink and just not right so she didn't eat anything. I didn't finished the steak as it still was pretty bloody and it put me off tbh and was fatty also. The gentleman who was serving us was lovely and did take the two mains off our bill. The staff were all lovely but I felt they had been very busy as there were alot of tables still uncleared and they could have done with more staff on the floor at this time. Over all was a bit disappointing but as I say the gentleman server was kind and understanding. It was a shame as this was our first time visiting the harvester.

I had not been to a Harvester in years and when presented the opportunity during a business trip to Lincoln, I decided to try it out. I have to say that the overall experience was fantastic. The staff were friendly, food extremely tasty and the restaurant layout provided a welcoming feel, even when eating alone. Thank you to Callum and his colleagues for providing a great service.

A family breakfast on a Saturday morning is always good idea. The Harvester was our choice of venue and we took our seats. The choice on offer was excellent. The opportunity to build your own cooked breakfast obviously takes away the Russian roulette element of breakfast wondering what is going to arrive on your plate. The food was cooked superbly and meanwhile my fussy eating daughter was away at the buffet table picking up fruits, yoghurts and helping herself to as much toast as she could eat. A splendid feed at an acceptable price and we will certainly returning again and again. Recommended.

Overall, the experience was underwhelming. There was a long delay in time waiting for the first server to come over to offer us any drinks or refreshments. Throughout the afternoon, the servers often changed, leaving us waiting lengthy periods for any food/drinks to be offered. We had to chase down a server in order to even be offered the first rounds. Although Jimmy (the Chef) did an excellent job with all dishes, the absence of consistent servers left a lot to be desired.

We had a family meal. Emma served us, she was very friendly and the children described her as kind and considerate. Jimmy was our chef. The food was great and the kids said theirs was brilliant. They love the salad bar and ribs.

Lovely waitress and very family friendly. Would recommend if wanting to eat anywhere whilst out in Lincoln go to the harvester

A group of 38 of us went for our annual meal, and we couldn't have had a better experience. Everything from the welcome and the service to the quality of the food was outstanding. The waiting staff were well-organised and the serving of 38 meals...

Not very good food was as nice it used to be years ago. I wouldn't recommend it to no one

Unfortunately nothing was really great, it was an adequate meal but with a few issues. Firstly the salad bar was below par compared to the user with no potatosalad, peppers or onions. Pasta was dry and the raisins all squashed together. The cobs served on the main meals were stone cold and mushy. With the four replacements being served at the end of the meal. Main meals and dessert served in drips and drabs, rather than together. Mens toilets absolutely disgusting and certainly hadn't been checked within tge 2 hours we were in the restaurant

Terrible!! I had a hugely disappointing experience with Harvester Restaurant on Uber Eats. The delivery was delayed by over 2 hours and the order wasn't prepared when the drivers arrived. We placed an order at 12:50 expecting a quick delivery as I live just 15 minutes away from the restaurant. The system stated 35 minutes which sounded reasonable. However, the delivery time kept changing every 10-15 minutes, causing unnecessary delays and wasted time. Multiple drivers arrived at the restaurant, only to find out my order wasn't ready. Eventually, the restaurant canceled my order at 15:09, blaming the drivers. No explanation was given, just a generic message. What a waste of fuel and energy…!!!!!!!!!!! Eventually, the restaurant canceled my order without any explanation. It's important for Harvester to improve their service before advertising on Uber Eats. Disappointing experience!

I have a serious nut allergy and often struggle to eat out. The member of staff that greeted my and my partner was brilliant. Very understanding and helpful. He advised he would ask regarding the salad bar anything I ordered. Will highly recommend. The food was also filling and flavoursome. Also the drinks that can be refilled. I’m just disappointed there are no more Harvesters around this area.

Small portions. Cramped seating. Not enjoyable at all. Half a chicken was like half a pigeon. The rack of ribs were a joke. I would not go again

The food was cold and dry when it arrived. Although we were one of the first to arrive in the restaurant, the food still took 40 minutes to arrive. The service was okay but the waiter forgot some of our order and we had to tell them to not charge us for it

Slightly retro free salad bar as a starter or side course as part of your meal. Enjoyed the bacon bits that I haven’t eaten in years! Rotisserie chicken was excellent - very moist and partner’s chicken stack was good. Really lovely waitress. Thank you.

We ordered the ribs and I can honestly say one thing delicious, red potatoes chips were crispy ,how we like. Definitely we will be coming back to this place.

I came for lunch with my 6 year old daughter who had her toy husky with her and I thought it was lovely how a member of staff bought a bowl of water to help her imagination that the toy was having something too. The food was very nice. I think when it comes to paying I found it difficult to remember what everything cost. We did have a receipt but it wasn't printed very well. So I think maybe having the option of seeing the menus when it comes to figuring out what things cost individually. Or maybe the receipt can for example if three refills have the cost of 1 near it. I was with a friend and it was just a pain to try and remember. The staff were friendly.

Was pretty busy as you would expect on a Saturday night but were seated quickly. Menu is good, lots of choice or so we thought, however, when we came to order they didn't have any chicken! No rotisserie chicken. No chicken skewers. I mean seriously?...

Service and food quality was good. Food could have been a little hotter. Toilet was not as clean as it might have been but that was down to some of your customers!

My boyfriend and I always visit Harvester in Lincoln whenever I come in from the US. It is a tradition. It never disappoints. I was unwell and very tired from no sleep and a cold so I wasn't able to stay long in the restaurant, but the food was amazing. I left to go to the hitel while my boyfriend finished his meal. The staff asked where I was, and he told them I was unwell so I went back to the hotel. The staff asking and worrying about me warmed my heart. I am deeply thankful for the amazing food I was able to partake and the staff for caring enough to ask if I was alright.

The staff that work at the harvester are very friendly and check up on everyone which is good. But there only problem is the chilli non carne. My sister ordered it and she said it didn’t taste nice but we did get a 20% discount on it. But overall it was a good visit and the rest of the food was delicious

Sunday evening Pre gig bite - beer options limited, kitchen closed not long after we arrived NOT that the couple who came in behind us were told quickly enough to be honest. Food we had was tasty enough, and the salad bar is back to being fabulous

Ordered the mega ribs. Very tasty ribs, but weren't particularly mega for the price. Loved the rice with it!

Went tonight to get a takeaway. Got back and found we had got a best before date thing from a kids rice packet in the bottom of the beef classic burger. Took it back and was given an apology and both burgers were re made, got free fudge cake and free drink to say sorry for the inconvenience. I believe the manager on was summer but might be wrong, one waitress I couldn’t remember the name of and a waiter called Callum. If you know the other waitress and the chefs please pass the complement on. Also filled it in online on the harvester website but wanted to put it in here incase it does not reach the restaurant

A popular venue on the waterfront with lots of natural light at the front and cosy areas at the rear. Standard Harvester fayre with unlimited salad bar. Decent food at average prices. Good views, good variety of seating and seating areas with water views at the front. Very popular in warmer months.

An ad-hoc visit to this place was a nice suprise. Food was really good and servers were attentive. The plentiful salad filled a big hole. Will definitely visit again.

Always lovely food, lovely service one of our favourite places to eat in lincoln for a nice quiet meal.

Booked 2 tables. Food was stale and missing orders on both tables. The staff did rectify the issues and had a discount of my final bills of £120. Staff manager was amazing. The kansas ribs were amazing! I gave the stars on what the place was at the time of visiting. Hopefully next time the issues will not be there and I can leave a 5 star.

The visit wasn't good, I ordered food & drinks but unfortunately we only had a drink. Waited nearly 45 minutes for soup to start with (honestly, how hard is it to do soup) but didn't get as I had to leave due to an appointment we had. It wasn't that busy either or they need more staff.

We ate at the Harvester tonight. Rotisserie chicken was lovely and my wife really enjoyed the halloumi skewers. The salad bar was fresh and tasty. We will definitely be coming back again. We also had great service from our server Carla.
