Wir waren zwar nur einmal dort, aber das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Personal freundlich. Die Preise sind eben typisch für London.

This applies to Vicinity, one of the restaurants at this hotel Great view and location but food was average and service poor. Waiter brought two drinks swiftly but not water that we’d requested at the same time. That didn’t happen till after our meals arrived and I went to the bar. The bangers and mash didn’t include the mushy peas, but the waiter insisted upon taking away the entire dish instead of just bring the peas on the side, as I’d tried to insist upon. When he returned with the new plate, after 10 minutes, I had no cutlery and had to go fetch my own.

There are no website, no social media accounts and no menu on google reviews. How can get information from you guys.

I have had afternoon tea her on numerous occasions and has always been one of my favourites. That said standards seem to have slipped since the refit. No hostess to greet you when you come in we were left standing and no one came to seat us had to wander round looking for a member of staff to help. For a saturday the inside restaurant was very quiet but as it was a nice day understandable. for whatever reason a large section of tables was roped off which does not look good. Service was quite prompt we had the champagne afternoon tea. Sandwiches were ok bread was a little dry scones were lovely although usually come slightly warmed. The patisserie was nice but having been here as i said many times the offer has not changed surely they can come up with something a bit more interesting or just change sandwich fillings occasionally and the cakes. I love the views here but the afternoon tea has become a little jaded and needs a revamp.

A friend booked this restaurant because of the view. Food isn't great though (I got the pulled pork soft bun). Orders are placed using an online app, so everything should be quite easy, but even though I added as a comment "no bun", it came with the bun but no bacon (!!!). The waiter offered to change it but I couldn't be bothered. My friend ordered a hot drink (mocha), they brought her a macchiato, as they got confused... again the comment is written in the app. Also we asked for a pepper mill and they didn't have it in the restaurant. They just give a couple of small pepper sachets and many salt ones. We were seating outside, unfortunately close to a table where they were smoking and that was quite annoying. After you order the food on the app you also pay directly on the app but there is no option of leaving a tip to the staff, and this is not fair for them.

booked my daughters 19th birthday meal there, the views looked great but i was concerned after reading other reviews. arrived at 6.50pm for a 7pm slot and our table wasnt ready, not a massive problem and they let us choose between to places, one was tucked at the back and the other was at the front with next to the sliding doors but had some nice views so we chose that. However the table outside sitting on the other side of the doors were very heavy smokers and was blowing inside over us, so i asked for the doors to be closed. And this is where it really started to mirror other customers reviews, it took 30mins for a waitress to give menus, then chose drinks and took nearly 35mins for the drinks to arrive, so i said can we order food , starters ordered and we were all really hungry but the food was nice. Meals took a whopping 55mins, I couldnt get the attention of any waitress to order second drinks, frantic waving to a guy in a suit and i thought we are going to get drinks quicker, no not a chance still 30mins to get to cocktails. mains arrived and not bad, burgers at £16 im not sure it was worth it, but kids enjoyed it and you are in london so it is what is is. however we had no cutlery on our table food was getting cold even though i asked the waiter for cutlery when he brought it over, we then see him straight after serving food to other tables, he must have forgot. I went to the till to ask a waitress and she was inputting something and said i will over shortly, by then its been 10 mins and we are eating with our fingers. I then saw a unused table and helped myself to cutlery form there, one of the pizzas was stone cold and the cheese and solidified on it, i couldnt get anyones attention so it was left. same problem trying to get the bill, there just isnt enough waiters or they forget you, so i walked back up and saw a man in suit standing around and said could i get the bill please, and he said he would speak to someone as hes from reception and couldnt do it, I said i had been waiting for 15mins and im sure if i went to walk out now then someone would come over with the bill, and they did within a few mins, explained the problem, and they took the cold pizza from the bill and she said they will wipe the service charge from the bill. service charge I thought she was having a joke but she meant it they were actually going to charge me for service when it was poor at best. all in all very disappointing, views are the only thing going for vicinity im afraid, there are some amazing restaurants in st katherines dock but this isnt itone thing that may help was that the waitress didnt seem to have any set tables or zones so it seemed to be all over the place with who you got. nearly £200 for 5 of us i expected so much more and i feel really for them because they should have a good thing here .oh one last thing, parking isnt free despite when i booked the lady said i can use the underground carpark, thats completely full from hotel guests or other diners, i was helped out find a spot but couldnt get out the barrier and was told this has to be validated by hotel reception, which i did but they asked if i was a guest and then reception said it is not free.

My wife and I had dinner here the first night we were in London. It is close to the Doubetree by Hilton London--Tower of London, where we stayed. The restaurant was out of four entrées, so we opted to share the beer-battered cod with mushy peas, a mixed salad, and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Our serer (Andrea) was delightful.

Vicinity always delivers wonderful views, great appetisers and delicious cocktails. The Japanese negroni is an absolute treat. We always order the Meze platter as a sharing plate and it’s lovely. Both the lawn and their terrace has the best views in London!

Drinks quite expensive but food reasonably priced. We ordered a simple pizza that took 50mins to arrive, wasn’t particularly busy but did manage to squeeze in three rounds, maybe that’s their plan! Love this location and the hotel is pretty good too, despite my little moan we will always keep coming back.

Last Sunday me and my went to restaurant called Vicinity, It was amazing, Food quality and Service was spot on, I will highly recommend this restaurant to go.

It’s great place with smiling team you will realy enjoy,it’s just beside tower bridge. Delicious food&drinks and wonderful view.

I recently visited this restaurant for dinner with my family and was blown away by the quality of the food as welp as the friendly staff and prompt service. We ordered starters , mains and desserts, all of which tasted very fresh. The food was the perfect temperature, not too hot or cold - I can say the fish and chips were proper tasty.Overall, I had a great time and will definitely return again to try out some different dishes. The views and vibes were great, making it an excellent dining experience.

From the outside this looks like a nice place to have dinner with an amazing view of tower bridge, and the view is brilliant but the food is not. I had a chicken burger with Mac and cheese on the side. Granted these choices don’t provide the chef with the opportunity to demonstrate his skills but what was served was little more than birds eye oven baked freezer food. The meal with a drink cost £30, which considering it is London should be expected but when the food tastes that cheap, I felt hard done by. Nice view though.

The restaurant staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. The location and view was also great.

an hour agoNEWWell what can I say. My daughter who is coeliac was given this as her meal this evening, despite her researching the restaurant for gluten free options. The chips advertised as gluten free actually weren't and she couldn't have the side salad they gave her as it had soy sauce on that contains gluten. Completely ruined her belated 18th Birthday meal for her first night away. The staff handled it appallingly and made her feel like an inconvenience. Avoid!

I went here with a friend of mine for dinner. The view of the Tower Bridge is really good. We were told we need to scan the code on the table for the menu and to order. However, there is a 12.5% service charge when ordering via the website. We decided to place our orders through our waitress instead. I wonder why the first waitress didn’t inform us of this?I ordered a steak to be cooked medium with Sweet Potato Fries. However, when the steak came it was well done so I sent it back. The steak came back as medium rare and I have given up on sending it back. There were a lot of fat on my steak. It was quite gross!The Sweet potatoes were not crispy but floppy. Their fries tasted as if they have been cooked twice. Overall, the experience was average. Food wasn’t great for a place that like and for the price. I definitely wouldn’t go there again!!!

Food was tasty. Although it was my friends Hen do, we asked the waiter for something special (maybe a cocktail for her or a pudding?) she said ‘I can come and say congratulations if you like?’ Which made me laugh. A bit disappointing! Also, they add on 12.5% service charge automatically when you order your food online, which I find annoying as they’re only bringing food now, they don’t even take your order! And as it’s optional in the UK to pay service charge I believe it shouldn’t be put on there without being able to amend it.

Arrived and was told by waiter there was plenty of room & table free for our party of 4.2 couples orders drinks and snacks. But only half the drinks arrived. After 45 minutes complained to waiter - ignoredAfter 55 minutes complained to maitre d’ .Who brought the receipts and told us we had everything. After a stern conversation eventually agreed we only had half our drinks. To which he brought the two over and then argues we can’t have another 2 as our party were now an hour between drinks. Eventually caved & brought us another 2 drinks. Upon leaving and already paid for drinks was chased down by a waiter and abused & accused of not paying for the gratis cocktails & argued we needed to pay. Which we declined. How embarrassing. This is the worst I have ever been treated out after covid. This is completely unacceptable and I would never come back to this establishment. Management need to address this issue and not ignore paying customers. Ridiculous.

Definitely not value for money!! We were staying at the hotel and we ordered burgers for our final evening… sounded great on the menu.. how wrong was I! My son had the Tower Burger and I the chicken burger… he had half a rasher of bacon in his burger and I had no more than half a chicken breast, the chips were very greasy and not many actually had potato in them any longer they had been cooked too much.Very disappointed and when I complained, nothing was done but the lady said it could be because they are busy (it was busier the day before)… won’t be back to eat!! £50 for 2 burger and 2 soft drinks… I wouldn’t of minded if it tasted nice.

We were staying in the adjoining hotel. We had 2 meals here over our 3 night stay and we loved both of them. Steak one night, burger another, dessert was amazing!! Never felt rushed, we always tried to pre book but on one night we were advised it was quiet so no need. Had our meals looking at the bridge, staff were lovely and very helpful. Wine served in cooler, we could not fault the food or service.

We were staying at the adjoining hotel, we emailed the hotel and they advised to pre book to get a nice table. Reservation made weeks in advance asking for a nice view, we arrived promptly and the couple in front of us with no reservation were given a table at the front, then we were offered one at the back with a nice view of a hedge, Clearly no table had been reserved for us even though our booking was clearly on the sheet. I am happy to pay the inflated prices and service charge for drinks to be sitting in a nice spot but not to be hidden away next to the bar at the back. We left and took our custom elsewhere

Popped in here as we were staying at the hotel next door. Manageress made it clear we could sit down and eat but would be moved on if it got busy as they had bookings... We were given our bill 20 minutes into our meal and told to settle up or order more drinks (we still had full drinks).. Made to feel very uncomfortable and decided to leave.. We ate and drank here the night before and spent a fair bit so no idea why they were so rude to returning customers.. The view of the bridge is amazing but unfortunately this was not matched by the atmosphere created by rude management... Food was ok but expensive and the app for ordering didnt work on either night and staff were very reluctant to actually take a physical order.

Perhaps better to eat before 9pm as we felt a bit rushed? Overall, great food and plentiful portions - no room for pudding!

Over priced, disappointing service. Got a Caesar Salad with : Salad, cheese, croutons and they managed to forget croutons. You order online as well so, 12.5% in service charges is quite hard to swallow! Will stay again in the hotel but won't visit this restaurant.

Excellent location and lovely outside dining on a summers evening. Menu all available to order on app and a good selection. Our food was excellent and staff serving with polite and we received within around 20 minutes of ordering. Drinks are expensive but no more than most places in the area. Just note 12.5% service charge added each time you place an order for drinks or food through the app.

Fantastic location but the drinks are so expensive that it takes some of the shine off for me, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Visited here twice while staying at The Tower Hotel. Both times were spent constantly trying to get the attention of staff, firstly to order and then to ask where our drinks and food were. The first night ordered a bottle of wine, waited over half an hour, then kept looking round trying to get the attention of a waiter, which meant constant looking round, so couldn’t just sit back snd relax. Eventually managed to call out to a waiter, who then brought two glasses, but still no wine. Then food arrived, still no drinks. It had been nearly an hour since we’d arrived. Asked again, then had to ask for cutlery. As we were staying there, decided to try a second night as thought it surely couldn’t be as bad. Once again, the whole time still looking round trying to get the attention of staff, so another evening not being able to just sit back and relax. I gave it 3 stars as the food and wine, when it eventually arrived was good.

Sometimes a hotel restaurant can be a little disappointing, poor food etc, not here, as choice was large, nice surrounding with a eat in or outside option.large numbers of both hotel guests and parties from outside turned up to soak up the atmosphere. Good value for location

We visited Vicinity prior to an event at St Katherine’s Dock for dinner and drinks. They had reserved us a table at the front which had lovely views of Tower Bridge and a fire pit to keep us warm. The waiters were attentive, the gin was perfectly presented and the food was nice (even if you are paying a slight premium). The head waiter went above and beyond to make us happy, my friend wanted something sweet with her coffee and he specially bought out a macaroon and mini muffin for her. I’d recommend this bar for food and drinks.

Great view, terrible service and rude staff. We arrived for drinks at VIcinity and waited around 10 minutes for our order to be taken. After another 30 minutes we asked where our drinks were to be told by the waiter who took the order that the order ‘got lost’ and it wasn’t his fault. Instead of apologising and retaking our order that we had now waited almost 45 minutes for he kept blaming the bar staff. Strange place with staff who need better customer service training. I was previously warned by friends that it was awful but decided to take the chance and make my own mind up. We did not get our drinks in the end.

Great view, good and varied menu, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff on duty were obviously undertrained, not knowing if a charge could be added to our room, breaking the cork in a bottle of wine, and everything we asked for seemed to take an age to get a response. This could be a fantastic place for drinks/food, but the staff let it down, unfortunately.

I have been in this restaurant to celebrate my friends birthday. Good service, extremely beautiful views and nice cocktails. But, there is something remarkable from that place and it’s the hostess. I went today (17/07) and I think her name was Ivana. She made my day, really professional and attentive. Many thanks for the service the beautiful experience we had.

We are staying in the hotel and booked this table 3 months in advance specifically requesting a table by the window. We arrived and we were stood waiting at the entrance for a while before a man came over who looked as though he was a manager. He didn’t greet us and walked us over to a table and left without any instruction. We were left not knowing wether to order through the barcode on the table or if we were going to get menus as other tables had menus and this was not made clear to us. We ordered through the app and was forced to pay a service charge of 12.5% even though we didn’t get any customer service. After waiting for ages our food arrived and still no sign of drinks. Asked two workers about the drinks and neither of them got them. Half way through the food one other waitress came over and asked if we had ordered drinks to which we replied yes and she got them finally. We weren’t asked how the food was and werent even asked if we wanted and condiments or anything when the food was delivered. Customer service is extremely poor here and we even saw tables getting up and leaving due to poor service. Customers shouldn’t be made to feel like ghosts and unwanted. This gives off a bad reputation on the hotel as it’s connected. Needs some serious improvements.

Went for recommended afternoon tea. Staff very attentive and the unlimited tea (drink) refreshing. As for the food! Least said the better. Bread definitely not fresh, neither was the pano cotta. Fillings tasteless with total lack of seasoning. Might have been marginally better if the bread had been buttered - but that is debatable. Scones nice but cheap jam and inadequate amount of clotted cream didn’t help. Overall and expensive mistake - I can get better elsewhere

Last week been to Vicinity restaurant next to Tower bridge London, What a location and what a view rival front and next to Tower tower bridge. Staff was brilliant and good was delicious, will go again with family

Arrived 1st night meal was good service fine no complaints 2nd night waited 10 min to be seated having then to ask waiter for a table inturpted him chatting to 2 young female guests. Waited another 20 minutes to be served on seeing guests being served after are arrival decided to return to our room and order room service

We ate here on the first night of our stay at The Tower Hotel and we wanted to sit outside but the weather wasn't on our side so decided to sit inside, which was just as lovely. We were sat right on the corner and had full view of the bridge. After being seated by a waitress, the manager came over too to personally welcome us which was a lovely touch.The food is very nice especially the pulled beef nachos as a starter! And although my order wasn't quite correct - the chicken from the risotto was forgotten - they were extremely apologetic and completely voided this main off of our bill which was amazing, especially as I was more than willing to pay for the meal just without the chicken! It was a really lovely meal with great service and we were offered drinks after to sit outside but we were too full from the meal! The fire pits in the front patio are limited (only 3 available) and once claimed there's no limit of how long someone can stay there, so it is difficult to get one of these desired tables with the fire pits.

I went to Vicinity London for the first time this weekend for my birthday celebration with a small group of people. Food and drinks are on a more expensive side, but the rest was an absolutely amazing night! We were looked after, attended to and David, whom I assume is the Manager, was such a wonderful host! Highly recommend Vicinity and thank you for an amazing night out.

Booked a table for drinks then meal. No at table ordering with app waited fir 20 mins to order eventually had go find member staff. Again had ask to be moved to inside when ready to eat. Seater and then just left, we had told waiter we were ready to order. Another age and again having shout to get waiter over. Food arrived and the lamb was beautiful but steak, sauce and chips all Luke warm. Even when went to leave no one came for payment. Yet again having to stand up and wave to get attention. Partner advised about the steak and was given a refund as he had left it uneaten. In a normal restaurant would have complained straight away and asked for replacement. However due to the impossibility of actually get a staff member over before I’d finished mine it was not an option.Really disappointed with service and over all experience. Gave 3 star because they refund other wise would be oneI also do not expect at a four star hotel to be give tacky sachet of condiments

We called for one drink whilst staying at the hotel. We asked fir the bill but a second round of drinks were brought for us. We asked again for the bill and the drinks were taken away. We paid and left. Sometime later on our return to the hotel, the same waitress called us over and said we hadn’t paid our bill. Turns out the payment declined but she didn’t notice at the time. Good job we were staying there and she could take the payment again. She blamed the machine…….

Last weekend we were looking for go out to eat and we start looking online and we come across next to Tower bridge Restaurant call vicinity, we went there and what a surprise, It was absolutely amazing view, beautiful restaurant and delicious food and not the least Great service by by staff, If I recall we hosted by Bogdan I think he is manager, he was very helpful and great service well done, It was great evening I’ll highly recommend this restaurant.

The location is great, the atmosphere was good, and the staff were fine. The food, however, is overpriced, basic, and frankly disappointing. At the price they charge per dish, you would expect something that would taste at least decent. There is nothing unique or great about the quality of food, and much lower tier restaurants can make much better food. I ordered a buttermilk chicken burger and it was as if I had made it at home. Don't expect much from the food if you go here, it is simply a waste of money.

Went here for some dinner and drinks with some friends. The service was absolutely terrible, it took ages for the drinks and food to come, someone finished their dinner before any of the other food came out. We asked for tap water 4 times and it wasn’t until we called the manager over after 30 minutes of waiting for it that it finally came out. The food was very basic and overpriced for what it was. It was a cheek as well that you have to pay 12:5% service on your order when the service was shocking! Definitely will not be returning and do not recommend anyone go here, there any many other places with the same view and better food and service.

2 of us visited here for a special occasion. We requested a fire pit table on our booking as this was recommended to us from a friend and the only reason we wanted to visit the venue. We also phoned before our booking to see if it was possible to have one of these tables. We were told they would do their best to accommodate us if the table is available. When we arrived, there was a fire pit table available and the restaurant was very quiet. We were told by the manager that he’s not happy to give the table to just the two of us as we won’t spend enough money. The other fire pit tables had 3 people on one, and 1 person on another one. Both tables were only drinking, we had come to the restaurant to eat and drink alcohol, so we would have spent more than them. All other tables in the restaurant are not in the sun at all and are freezing, many customers got up to leave before even ordering during our visit. These tables also don’t provide the view of the Tower Bridge that the fire pit tables do, the reason why most people would visit the restaurant. The food and drink was nice but the service is what let our experience down. The staff were unfriendly, unapproachable and not as professional as they should be for a London restaurant. The fire pit table we had been refused was also free for the whole duration of our visit, which was almost 3 hours. The manager clearly wanted to see if a better group of customers would come along. We asked if we could take a photo on the fire pit table quickly to have the view of Tower Bridge and we were told we could but we need to tag the restaurant on social media. Usually I would do so, but after our treatment I will not participate in any sort of marketing for them. I would advise the restaurant to look after all customers and not just a selected few. The manager made us feel unwelcome and as if we were an inconvenience. I visited here for my birthday and this was recommended to me, I certainly will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone else. The toilets are also very unsanitary for a restaurant which claims to be high class. Drop the ego and look after your customers better - the view is all you have going for you. Despite all of this, I would like to say thank you to the staff member Rafael, who made an effort to speak to us professionally and politely and clearly takes pride in his customer service role.

We made the mistake of staying at the Tower Hotel and attempting to drink at Vicinity each night.Night 1: We were annoyed by being forced to pay 12.5% service charge on every order despite there being no table service. Everything had to be ordered by their app.Night 2: They ran out of Corona Night 3: They ran out of their remaining lagers, being Becks and Camden as well as Baileys Utter shambles. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Having used this hotel extensively in the past I am shocked by what happened to my family yesterday. I was meeting my two sons with their partners for the first time since before Christmas due to the pandemic. It was a lovely day so we waited 40 minutes for table. We ordered food and as one of my sons and his partner are vegan, he has food allergies as well, we were pleased that the hotel offered vegan pizzas. The food came and my son and his partner having tasted the food were immediately suspicious that the pizzas were not vegan. They checked and following a big apology the waiter explained there had been a mistake and new pizzas where on their way. By its self this is appalling and can you imaging what would have happened if one of them had severe allergies? The new pizzas arrives and again after a small taste it was obvious there were not vegan. They went to the kitchen and checked the packaging and the food was clearly not vegan. They were offered a free drink. At this point I had had enough and went to find the manager. He apologised and vegan pizzas where eventually supplied to my by now ravenous son and partner. The manager voided our bill. I am left shocked that an established of the size of the tower could make such a fundamental error and endanger people lives, and totally ignore a clients fundamental beliefs! Shocked from Surrey!

The venue is stunning and the service is fantastic. Affordable food that was tasty too. We sat at the fire pit terrace outside and we enjoyed every moment. Staff are very kind and accommodating regarding allergens and vegan options. Tower Bridge is very busy but this restaurant is located a bit further from the hustle and bustle, so it was a very relaxing experience. Worth a visit!

Booked 2 firepit tables but was NOT told at the time of booking (face to face with a member of staff) that it was £250 minimum spend per table, apparently due to covid. The first we heard of it was when we arrived at the restaurant however, if we walked in off the street we would not incur this charge as it applied to reservations only. We are regular customers and were very disappointed the staff did not tell explain this at the time of booking and even more disappointed they preferred to give the table with no spend limit to someone who had not booked knowing we were waiting for it.

We celebrated an 18th birthday at Vicinity last Saturday and had a really brilliant time. The fire pit kept up warm. The drinks were great. The choice of food was very good but most of all the service from the waiters was 5 star. We felt valued guests. What a view! We will definitely go again. I have booked 4 rooms with a view as a special treat for my dance teachers at the end of July and am very much looking forward to taking them to the Tower Hotel.

I had an amazing time at Vicinity. There was a party of 5 guests and we had pre-booked the fire pit for 8pm. Our waiter accommodated us immediately and was so attentive all night. The location has a beautiful view of the Tower of London and the fire pit keeps you warm all night. There is a £250 min. Spend to book the fire pit but that can be easily spent on drink and food! Great service and I would recommend for groups of young professionals, families with no children or a cute date night! Special thanks to Raffael!!!

I just have spent my birthday at the Vicinity. The place is with no doubts amazing and worthy going to. The view of Tower Bridge in the background gives a special touch in the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and prompt to help, making our stay more pleasant. The Vicinity is definitely a great place to be with your family and friends for drinks and food. Arrived on a sunny day, the waitress that served us seemed to be rather absent minded. We ordered a Chardonnay and Cocktail and requested some water. She only brought the wine but forgot the rest....

We arranged to pop in for pre lunch drinks. Service was impeccable and drinks and snacks very reasonably priced. Even got a birthday cake treat thrown in. Special thanks to Rafael.

I booked vicinity on for the 17th April for my friends birthday. At first I was sceptical because the photos looked too good to be true and it wasn't advertised much. Once we arrived I was amazed at the beautiful views and location! The staff where so welcoming and we felt comfortable straight away. The drinks and food was really well presented, and great quality also not too pricey. We had such a good time and didn't want to leave. Thank you to the staff for making our visit special, all these months in lockdown and it was our first day out and I'm so glad we picked here.

Visited here recently with a client and colleague. Covid meant that we had to enjoy the outdoor space but it was my pleasure as it was honestly one of the best outdoor spots in London, overlooking the Thames with a unobstructed view of the very pretty Tower Bridge.We were very lucky to be given a table with a fire pit. The whole outdoor space is decorated and furnished so well - I was so impressed on arrival as we had booked this fairly last min on a whim.Service was perfect - the waiters and waitresses were super attentive and when I was a difficult customer and told a waiter I fancied a strawberry or cherry cocktail, he suggested a strawberry mojito, off-menu, and it was honestly one of the best cocktails I've ever had.We then ordered a couple of pizzas and some skin-on chips and sweet potato fries to share. The pizzas were DELICIOUS. So good in fact that I would return there just for those alone.Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable evening. My client and colleague were thrilled with my choice and I will 100% be returning.Thanks for a great evening!

Had the BEST ‘first day out’ here since the reopening of bars. The food, drinks and service were spot on and the location was perfect! The staff were so attentive and the terrace where we were seated was perfect for a relaxed drink in the sun. The manager made us feel particularly welcome and we will definitely be coming back!

When arriving it was lovely ... the views etc. The service was very good asking for drink and very quick, but when food arrived I was disappointed. It was very overpriced so I expected high quality. I ordered a pizza and it wasn’t very nice to be honest... very basic. However the club sandwich was nice. They also didn’t have any salami which I thought was weird and I went at a time where it was empty during lunch. They also didn’t have any bbq sauce. I would go again if I could reserve one of the fire pits but I would only get snacks and drinks.

Nos dimos cuenta de que el personal parecía estar sobrecargado, corriendo con los gerentes estresados diciéndoles las órdenes del personal, etc. al alcance del oído, nos dejó un poco inquietos. Nuestras segundas bebidas tardaron muchísimo en llegar, aproximadamente 25 minutos. Luego nos dijeron que no quedaba absolutamente ninguna cerveza de barril, de 5 bombas de cerveza, ni una gota. Cuáles de nuestros tres invitados estaban muy molestos. Eran solo las 8 pm, así que encontré esto extremadamente inusual para un hotel de este tamaño y esto nos dejó muy decepcionados. La última objeción que tuvimos es que en este momento no aceptan pagos en efectivo. Al principio, nuestro camarero nos dijo que se trataba de "reglas del gobierno", lo cual sé que no es el caso. No obstante, pagué con tarjeta. Más tarde en la noche, el gerente vino a ver si estaba bien y me explicó que era política de la empresa. Había un pequeño letrero al entrar, pero creo que esta política podría aclararse al hacer la reserva y la llegada. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestros cócteles junto a la fogata. La comida y la bebida son caras, pero era de esperar con la ubicación del restaurante. Si se resolvieran los pequeños problemas, habría sido una velada excepcional.

Absolutely amazing! We were celebrating anniversary and husband’s birthday! Service was the best!!! Family loved it! And The view!!!

While staying at the Tower Hotel, we had breakfast and dinner here. The food was very nice but the real appeal is the corner of the restaurant that has the view onto the green and Tower Bridge, a real atmosphere to enjoy your meal.

The afternoon tea was really good and we've been very well served by Tamara! I also had dinner here and that was very good the staff was very nice!

I've been there many times already. Where should I start? Probably with a view. Words cannot describe how cosy it is to sit down by the firepots and enjoy the spectacular views of the bridge. Whenever my friends or family are visiting London - I always take them there and they are so impressed with the place. The last time we had mixture items from the menu to share. It was such a great experience. We spent there for hours and couldn't leave. Javed is amazing, he is so dedicated and willing to help with the drink choice. I just trusted him and left him to decide on behalf of friends and obviously ME!By writing this, I'm getting hungry AND thirsty again. Cannot wait to go there!

Celebrated our Mum's 85th birthday at Vicinity. Views are amazing. Staff were very attentive and made my Mum's day by bringing out a piece of cake with a candle and singing happy birthday, she was so please. Afternoon tea is very good value for money and all 12 of us girls enjoyed it! Thank you Vicinity!

Vicinity is a great place for diner but also for a drink at te outside terrace. The terrace is heated with firepits and you have a great vieuw at the Tower Bridge. The menu offers various choices and the service is good.

Fui a una cita nocturna con mi esposo. El lugar tiene una vista impresionante del Tower Bridge. La comida y las bebidas eran sabrosas, el personal agradable y educado. La terraza era increíble ya que tenía fogatas y mantas que nos calentaban incluso en el clima frío / lluvioso de Londres (me estoy congelando por todas partes todo el tiempo). También noté que había pieles falsas en las sillas y calentadores normales de arriba para las personas que se sientan más lejos de las fogatas. . ¡Esperamos volver para una noche de chicas!

had a good experience here. My burger was good and the knickerbocker ice cream was delicious. Coffee was awful. Service was acceptable.

Vino para una cena temprana de lunes a viernes, era lento en el momento. Múltiples servidores que no parecían saber lo que el otro estaba haciendo y no tenían prisa. Si hubieran consultado con nosotros después de servir, habría devuelto el salmón, por lo que la mitad se desperdició al estar poco cocinado. La esposa tenía sopa de cebolla francesa con un sabor extraño, y tampoco terminó su cena (no puedo recordar lo que tenía). Tratando de sacar lo mejor de nosotros, dividimos un helado, estaba bien, pero podría haber caminado una cuadra hasta debajo del puente y haber funcionado igual de bien. El insulto final fue la espera del cheque, finalmente fuimos a la caja registradora para pagar. Después de que tomaron mi dinero, finalmente me preguntaron cómo estaba todo. Had a quick dinner here and it was very good. A popular place for a drink with hotel guests and locals alike -- and that's always a good sign.

If this is the restaurant inside the Tower Hotel, I did not like the meals at all. I had crab cakes the first time which were too salty (and I am from Maryland and know a good crab cake when I taste one), The second meal I had the misfortune of ordering fish and chips. I don't know about the Brits but I detested this dish. The fish was full of bones and the peas looked unappetizing though I did sample it. The chips were all that was good about this meal. I was told later that fish and chips are not supposed to have bones but I am unlikely to ever try this again. The whole experience was dreadful though the wait staff was good. One waitress actually told me that she could not stand British food, a comment with which I was wont to agree.

El siguiente día, fuimos a comer después de visitar la Torre de Londres. El personal atento, lo normal; la comida me decepcionó para lo que parecía el local. Pedimos unas gyozas crujientes (5 en la ración) para picar que no estaban mal del todo. Después una hamburguesa con patatas cuya carne estaba demasiado hecha, muy seca. Deberían al menos preguntar cómo la quieres. Mi amigo pidió una ensalada de Kale a la que le añadió pollo (1 GBP extra). La verdad es que también decepcionante, si no le añades el pollo comes hojas de kale con algunos frutos secos por 17 GBP. Café y a correr. Muy caro para lo que comimos, aunque el lugar es inmejorable.
