The pork was cooked nicely and it tasted amazing 10/10 the Yorkshire puddings were crunchy and juicy.

Solid classic pub food. Good selection of drinks. Joanna from the bar had served us lots of times over the last few months, always excellent service!

Visited here today with my wife, what a beautiful pub, with a wonderful atmosphere, great decoration, a wonderfully welcoming owner and excellent food! Steve the owner was wonderful the moment we walked in, he was caring, talked us through the beers and was really great at showing us all the pub had to offer. There are boardgames, a dartboard, an outside area at the front and an outside area with booths at the back. There are also events for everyone, sportsgames shown, musicians, drag, it's an inclusive place with a wonderful vibe. The food was amazing, it tasted fantastic, was plated really damn well, much much better than you'd expect from a pub and the value for money was definitely there. I wish the Black horse all the best in its future endeavours because it deserves to be successful.

Lovely pub, the bar staff are welcoming and friendly. The new management are doing a great job with great enthusiasm and have organised some great music events. Good food and drinks 😊 happy local.

An incredibly friendly welcome, fantastic food and a great range of drinks. We loved our visits. The pub is huge with several different seating areas. The landlords are working very hard to make the pub a success. 😁

Had a lovely meal at The Black Horse, I'm vegetarian and I chose the butternut tortellini, it was delicious. Beautifully hot. I'm impressed that the management go out of their way to make sure that vegetarian dishes are not the normal run of the mill, but have a different twist. The rhubarb crumble is amazing. In fact the whole menu is different. Steve is the most accommodating host and we received excellent service from team leader Jo with a friendly smile. Our 4 legged friends are given a special welcome.

This place is brilliant! Joanne is an absolute legend and will make your visit amazing beyond belief, The prices can be a bit excessive but the service makes up for it.

We are a big family and we know it can be a hustle to sort us out, but the staff were amazing. The portions were much bigger than we expected and the food came out really quickly.
