Great lunch of a bacon roll with grilled tomatoes and melted cheese and a toasted tuna and onion sandwich. Coffee excellent. Very clean toilets. Perfect for a quick bite.

Cafe located in Shooters Hill Road just down from Charlton Lido. Friendly and welcoming service. Good selection of set meals ..Set breakfast deals all good value and well cooked. Proper local cafe …good for breakfast. Nice bacon.

Found a hair in my full English breakfast, so I proceeded to call the waitress over. She said ‘oh sorry’ then just walked off and left! Absolutely furious, the bare minimum would be to take the plate away and replace the food. No money off the bill either I had to tell them I would not be paying for the hash browns. Lacking in customer service and clearly hygiene. The waitress was incompetent didn’t even know what a runny egg was! Wouldn’t even take my ex boyfriend to eat there!

Bueno, de hecho pedí en Deliveryoo, un pollo asado con patatas. Estoy gratamente sorprendido considerando que recibí un trozo de pollo bastante grande, una cantidad decente de papas y verduras, también vino con salsa. Soy polaco, así que en casa no tenemos este tipo de pollo asado, así que pensé en pedir un poco. Me recuerda las cenas que tendría en la escuela, pero mejor (el pollo no es lmfao seco), bastante hogareño, supongo. Realmente agradable por este precio :)

A warm and fairly friendly cafe. The staff were civil enough, but not always that friendly or communicative. Not the end of the world, but as a first time visitor a more welcoming approach would be nice. I like the fact that it served freshly cooked food, like the mushrooms and real tomatoes. It was nicely cooked, and well presented, and tasted good. Try serving real coffee, not instant, and seeing if the food can be dried from the grease. These are not necessarily bad things, but would be just that bit nicer, and a cut above the rest. I would recommend a visit, there were obviously regulars in there and kids, so a good local following, which is a good recommendation.

Visited with my son and sister, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasty too for a cafe. Prices were average. Parking was a problem, you can only park free for half hour which is not enough time to order and eat. So you have to call a number and pay via card, you can park for maximum 2 hours. I would use this cafe again.

Special breakfast increase of £1.30 over nite. Well food isn't any better coffee is poor. More colourful water! Food cold .. so two toast cold beans cold scrambled egg and hash browns Coffee 5,50 na. Sorry one customer that won't be back.. rip off!!!

This chef is crazy. Charged 4.50 for a kids omelette and it was burnt. He reckons the salad is free. Lol. Not going back in a hurry.thanks

Just another cafe. Don’t be fooled by the name, I didn’t a large plate or a large portion. What I did see, was the price of an extra sausage ... £1 Food was good, but nothing special.

I ordered a cheese burger with just lettuce, a sandwich and a roll with no sauce. I waited 40 minutes and that is ridiculous. Customer service was terrible She gave me the food and there was onions and ketchup in the burger Two rolls not a sandwich and brown sauce in another? I brought it back and told the lady I didn't order this and with an attitude said she would get me a new one. My friend and I could hear them bickering and I won't be back here again.

A weekly visit here for the family for breakfast / brunch. Waiting staff are very friendly and always make us feel welcome and make a point of remembering what you tend to eat and drink. My favourite is the 'chicken grill' which includes a well marinaded chicken breast with rice and salad. They also serve regular breakfast combos. A trusted cafe to go to if you're in the Shooters Hill area.

Monster portions, impeccably cooked. A very reliable cafe - which is just as well, because we are in there all the time! Always busy. The waitresses famously bring something wrong every time. Over the years, that has come to add to the charm. We are almost disappointed now when it comes out perfect first time - which is happening more frequently. The crew are fine to change it back again, or to do extra crispy bacon or whatever you need. Most recommended: the chicken curry is splendid and different, the tuna salad is HUGE and amazing. Omelettes are stonking. Not so sure: the lasagne can be a bit dry. I've been a regular here since it opened. Love the place. Only one thing... The prices... It's just a teeny, weeny bit expensive for a cafe. Not so much the food, which is substantial and delicious, but by the time the drinks have been added in, the pounds pile on. A complimentary top-up of tea for those who spend £100million a year there (ie me!!!) would be a nice gesture occasionally. Can't go wrong though. Makes me wonder what we did before it opened.

This is a great place for your breakfast on a cold early morning weather. The place is gives that warm feeling while enjoying their English Breakfast Set.

This place has always been our local café and the staff were welcoming. since they got new staff in there the service and the food has gone down badly . my partner ordered a breakfast and they didn't put bacon on it so my partner asked for the bacon and the waitress stood arguing with him saying "he didn't order it" but he did. So while he was waiting for the bacon to finally arrive the rest of the meal was cold which isn't surprising because the was a fan blowing directly on our table. They finally gave him a fresh meal with the waitress still arguing. then mine arrived and it was just horrible I originally ordered the mixed grill and I wanted to change two items and they told me I couldn't change more than one item so I had to have something else..... Sooo not worth going there we wont go in there again

Been here twice both time food was great and good value, staff friendly a good London cafe in my opinion very clean, would def eat there when in area

Probamos esto por primera vez y nos sorprendió que estaba abierto el lunes de Semana Santa y que estaba ocupado. La ensalada de atún venía con un buen vestidor y pedí un desayuno con café de verdad. Hay asientos en el exterior, pero está en la sombra.
