Cocktails were insanely tasty - atmosphere was quirky and cosy. Great attentive staff and music was awesome - would definitely revisit!

I was searching for a tropical themed place to have some drinks with friends and I was not dissapointed with the Beachcomber! Cocktails in here are pretty strong wich is really nice (not expensive water with mint like in many other places).

Visité butlins este semestre y comí unas cuantas veces en el beachcomber, encontré que el servicio era excelente, la comida sabrosa y el gerente del restaurante fue uno de los mejores, se llama Sinan I beleive y soy gerente en la industria de la hospitalidad. Conozca el arduo trabajo que implica el día a día de tales negocios. Este hombre lo hace sin esfuerzo y toma todo con calma, tiene caracoles constantes y no puede hacer lo suficiente por ti. Venimos 3/4 veces al año y definitivamente usaré este lugar nuevamente 5 *

One of the worst service I have ever received.Friday night, a big group of colleagues and I, decided to come to this place and enjoy the night having drinks and dancing. When we arrived we took one of the free table and sat down while enjoining our drinks. However, when the good music started to play we all stood up and hit the dance floor, leaving behind on the table our coats, bags etc. Then ,suddenly we noticed that our table was given to a group that just arrived and without asking, the waiter removed all our stuff and placed them somewhere else. When we noticed, we immediately questioned the waiter who didn’t know how to handle the situation, making silly excuses. We personally, felt that this was so unfair but not only, we also felt DISCRIMINATED, and so we requested to speak to the manager who arrived, after chatting to the waiter, with a very bad and aggressive attitude, and instead of apologiese she just demanded to show to her our drinks, to see if it was true that we were consuming. After showing it, she still made non-sense excuses to justify the waiter action. When I said to her that we were not happy with her outcome ,and requested to speak to someone higher, she dismissed me, called security and escorted me out. Bear it in mind that I was very calm, sober, but disappointed , therefore I was just on my right to get a plausible reason for their action, but it was denied and the easy escape for the manager was to call security. Then, all my friends came outside to support me. Apparently the owner was outside, laughing about the all situation and smoking without even acknowledging the fact that we were being mistreated. At the end, it was clear that the waiter was very unprofessional, the “manager” not only unprofessional, but also zero manners, zero people skills, zero empathy, but most importantly, zero customer service and more… (All quality that are expected from someone with the MANAGER title). A piece of advise: Don’t waste your time and money in this place because is not worthy. All they want is to sell drinks and make money without valuing customers. Once you spent a good amount of money, if necessary to make space for new customers, they just simply get rid of you unfairly.

Great Mojito, friendly staff, very nice music, very good atmosphere!! I definitely recommend to everyone!! 10/10

Muy decepcionado con nuestra visita a este lindo bar de cócteles. Estaba ocupado y tuvimos que compartir una mesa, pero estuvo bien. Preferimos nuestras bebidas y esperamos, y esperamos y esperamos. Y luego siguió refiriéndose a mí como "señora" en un tono que me pareció muy ofensivo, este "gerente" tiene cero inteligencia emocional y no debería estar manejando un bar. Todo lo que tenía que hacer era darme la bebida gratis y esta sería una crítica muy diferente. Aprecio que estuvieran ocupados, pero en realidad no tenían suficiente personal y ese es un problema de gestión.

Es un gran lugar nocturno, no es barato, siento que la cerveza es cara, en mi opinión, es mejor que tomes un cóctel, como digo, es un pozo de oro cuando todo está oscuro, su majestad, los pubs son todos cerrado antes que el resto de Londres, es Westminster, ¡el único otro abrevadero tardío se ha convertido en humo! Los cócteles que hace Laddo son realmente buenos y contundentes, es bueno en su trabajo y sin duda.

¡Unos amigos y yo vinimos un viernes por la noche para comprar algo de comida y bebida y fue increíble! La comida era excelente, los cócteles estaban entre los mejores que he probado (y he tenido mucho en mis días). . El personal y el ambiente eran de primera categoría. Las bebidas de la hora feliz de 7 a 9 pm son geniales y me atrevo a encontrar mejores cócteles en Londres. ¡No te pierdas esta joya!

Tuve mis bebidas de cumpleaños anoche. ¡Qué gran bar pequeño! ¡Increíbles cócteles, miembros del personal del bar muy amables y una hermosa decoración de temática tropical! Sin duda volveré allí y probaré algunos de sus cócteles. Mis amigos y yo realmente disfrutamos la noche allí:)

Ottimi i cocktail il mio preferito Asian Persuasion non sono forti da farti venire il volta stomaco sono deliziosi e ne puoi bere 3 uno diverso dall'altro. Schon mal den Sonntagabend im Pub verbracht? Kannst vergessen nach 22:30 Uhr...Die Beachcomber Bar ist die Heimat aller vom Londoner Nachtleben Frustrierten. Die Playlist hat Charme, die Gäste sind nett (keine Alpha-Männer aus dem Finanz-Sektor), die Cocktail-Liste ist einfach aber gut - wir lieben den 'Suffering Gringo', kann gar nicht genug davon kriegen.

Mis amigos y yo estuvimos en Londres para una reunión y estábamos de humor para bailar. Me alegro de que este lugar divertido tuviera una cocina abierta hasta la medianoche y permaneciera abierto para tomar una copa y bailar hasta las 2 30 de la mañana. El DJ era un hombre vestido de panda XD.

Decidí probar con Beachcomber para mi cumpleaños y me sorprendió gratamente el acogedor estilo exótico. Quedó aún más satisfecho con la amplia selección de cócteles que no eran su selección habitual de los favoritos del molino, ya que cada bebida tiene un toque especial de Beachcomber. La comida de estilo caribeño era realmente sabrosa y auténtica, e incluso tienen la cerveza local que tomé de vacaciones en Barbados.

Mis chicas y yo nos encanta ir a Beachcomber! Buena música, deliciosa comida y todo buen rollo. Perfecto para bailar toda la noche con todas las chicas. He hecho un par de eventos allí y es el lugar perfecto. La decoración es super divertida y el personal siempre es increíble!

¡Descubrí este bar hace unos meses con mis amigos y me encantó! El lugar es hermoso, el personal es increíble y sus cócteles son para morirse! Recomendaría este bar a cualquier persona de la zona, ¡ahora vengo cada fin de semana! Literalmente el lugar para estar.

Was having a decent enough time in this bar which has a good ambience, and nice - if a little expensive - cocktails. But what should have been a decent evening was made unpleasant by the bar staff overcharging our group for several drinks we did not have. When we queried this, the staff were very rude and refused to acknowledge this, despite the problem being rooted in their card system failing and then not managing the bills properly, merging them together and adding extra drinks. An unpleasant end to our night having to fork out extra money, and will avoid coming back here again. Don't have time for places being a rip-off and treating customers poorly.

Sort out your card machine! Learn the rules of your own novelties (dice game). Over charged because of your incompetence!

Upon arrival we participated in their ‘fun’ happy hour game with a chance to win a discount. Needless to say this was neither fun or fair with the staff member moving the goalposts of the rules when we won. Drinks were lovely to be fair (if a little pricey) but at the end of the night the tab arrived with several items mysteriously added which we had never ordered. Upon querying this they were not accepting of this. The confusion may have arisen from their card machine not working (THEIR FAULT) when people tried to pay separate of the ongoing tab but these people all paid cash instead with some having literally gone out of the bar across the road to get the cash out. The bar staff then claimed cash hadn’t been paid.

Amazing place with amazing cocktails :) the staff were all so friendly and it was the perfect way to end our evening in London. Definitely worth a visit. Xx

El lugar está en un sótano. Parece actualmente tiene como sótano de alguien hecho en un estilo tiki. El menú de cócteles es muy limitado y los ingredientes son extraños en algunos casos. Tenía dos copas, una que me gustaba, y uno que era de cata muy extraño. También me pareció que era un poco caro para lo que ofrecía.

Fue un buen lugar para charlar con un amigo, pero la falta de cócteles son molestos. Como sólo éramos como 4 - 5 cócteles para elegir. Era un poco ruidoso y el olor del lugar era extraño

Después de algunas investigaciones y comentarios en internet, hice el bar Beachcomber para bebidas de grupo. No estaba seguro de qué esperar, ya que está situado en Queensway, un lugar muy turístico. .

Yo quería encontrar un lugar para tomar mi pareja para su sorpresa de cumpleaños. Le encanta ron así lo mejor de degustación de ron. El primer lugar me puse no lo podía hacer así que tuve que realmente búsqueda para encontrar otro sitio en Londres que lo hizo. Me pareció que de alguna manera el Beachcomber en FB y ellos messaged. Primero me dieron mal la dirección de correo electrónico y luego me dieron la correcta. Me dieron una respuesta que me dijeron lo de la degustación de ron incluyen:

Lamento pagar ir aquí! Entrada £5 y una vez dentro de los precios en el bar son ridículamente caro! (sólo tenía una bebida ya era de £8 por un vodka y limonada) La actitud de los miembros femeninos del personal era horroroso! ! Constante parece sucia haciéndonos sentir incómoda y superado, por lo que negociaban nosotros podían bailar! Incluso parecían estar contentos de vernos salir! Nunca volvería a cualquiera o recomendar

Un grupo de estudiantes universitarios en vacaciones buscando un bar en el área de Hyde Park y decidimos probar este hace unos días. Sorprendido por la falta extrema de la anfitriona/cajero hacia nosotros por ninguna razón. Enorme actitud y rollos eye, más las bebidas eran demasiado caros para no un gran ambiente. No lo recomendaría.

Este lugar tiene un ambiente agradable y el personal muy amable, pero me pareció que los cócteles aburrido. Ha sido poner más esfuerzo en la presentación, en vez de contenido. Gran noche para un grupo y divertirse.

The guy charged us £10 for 2 shots of Jagermeister. Is that normal?! The doorman told us we had 5 minutes left to order a drink, so we went in. The barman said 'no' but we persuaded him to let us do a shot. He obviously decided then and there to charge us double, just because he could. Zero goodwill, won't return.

Stumbled across this basement cocktail bar late on a Saturday evening. It's decor and lighting are colourful and makes you feel like you are on holiday somewhere warm! Staff were attentive. Definitely worth popping in. Chilli popcorn was served with our cocktails, which was unusual but welcome.

Stopped in for drinks, not to eat. Drink menu is unbelievable, and they have a star rating for how you like your drinks, as in strong, sweet, etc. Garnishes were amazing and staff was friendly and helpful. Cool tunes jamming and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Adam, Ash and all the staff at Beachcomber really went the extra mile to make my daughter's 21st Birthday a memorable night! They reserved us a section and softened the music for a bit while we served the cake. The music was fantastic, cocktails and shots were amazing, the food was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to make everything special! Ages in our party ranged from 21 to 61 - and by the end of the night, everyone was dancing - thank you Beachcomber.

This is an amazing place to be. Great for an intimate date or after work drinks. Colourful and unusual cocktails, I was impressed by the bartenders knowledge of rums and the ability to adjust any cocktail exactly the way I preferred it. You can also challenge the bartenders to create a custom drink if you like surprises. The food was great too, bar snacks from a chef from Martinique. We chose the sharing platter to get a little taste of everything on the menu. They also do a fun happy hour game where you can win 70% off the price of any drink.

It is a small but intimate space. The Beachcomber is a wonderful Tiki Bar just a few blocks down the street from the Queensway Tube Station and Hyde Parks. My friends stumbled on this underground hideaway next to a McDonalds during our recent visit to London and I am so glad they told me about it. I went with a hand full of friends and met the "oh so lovely" Ashera as she tempted us with delightful cocktails like the Suffering Gringo. The cocktail is the perfect mix of Mezcal, agave, and yes jalapeño pepper. It is so delicious. The first sip stings the back of your throat and then your tongue starts to dance to the African music in the background. All the cocktails are so good and the atmosphere is Amazing. I took two handful of friends there the following night. The service is next to none and it is the first bar I will visit when I return to London. Yes!

What an amazing Tiki bar. We almost missed this place. There is just a door and a sign which leads you to the downstairs bar. Once inside the decor was great and the lighting perfect. Great vibe all around. The food and drinks had a bit of a different twist which was refreshing. Not just your usual Mai Tai and Blue Hawaii selection. While there had a chance to talk with one of the managers Adam (I think that is correct). What a great guy. Everyone was very personable and fun. Be sure to shake the dice for a chance at a discount per drink.

Me and my Boyfriend stumbled across this Cocktail Bar whilst on a night out in London. It was nearby to our Hotel in Bayswater which was a bonus...The Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The guy who served us was very knowledgeable about the Cocktails and the Bar Staff overall provided a great service.The decor was amazing and quirky. Would highly recommend this place.Can't wait to revisit Beachcomber when I'm next in London

I've now been to this wonderful place three times and it's hard to describe because it sounds like it shouldn't work. A cocktail bar in a basement in Bayswater, decorated with a garish combination of tiki masks, rattan, astroturf and picnic benches, who insist on continuously play 90s RnB. Somehow, this combines to create a great atmosphere.The staff are very friendly and always greet you as you come in. Cocktails are excellent and the staff have a great knowledge of the flavours and ingredients in each of them. I've yet to sample the new Creole food menu but it looks pretty good from what I've seen. Stay tiki guys.

I went to Beachcomber yesterday for my birthday, The bar have very nice cocktails, 666 is very nice and one other cocktails with rum. Also the food is delicious Sautted Fish in particular but the other types of food are nice too and the cocktails are lovely. Will recommend the place, I left very happy and safisted. ;-)

The other week I had the opportunity to visit the Beachcomber located n Bayswater for the first time. i tried a selection of their cocktails mixed with green tea. I can honestly say that the staff, service as well as the true care that they give into providing a good atmosphere for their customers is perfect with the ideal setting it was a lovely event enjoyed by all.

We descended on this bar on mass one Saturday. 22 of us and all ordered cocktails. The drinks were fab but the service was slow. My drink took 40 mins to come and several reminders. But think they were a bit swamped. However, I had rung ahead the day before and booked a table of 21, so staff should have planned. Great cocktails though, polite and friendly staff and great little unusual tiki bar!

I don't know where to begin. We stumbled across this bar on a evening stroll. We arrived rather early I'm London terms (about 8.30pm). And as a result we had pick of the tables. The decor was warm and cosy. The music somewhat eclectic. We weren't expecting Right Said Fred!! We sat close to the bar.You must come here for the mixology. The barman who entertained us was something else. I'm just sorry I've forgotten his name. His knowledge of rum, cocktails and the history and background of drinks was pretty spectacular. Most impressive. He was able to ask about favourite flavours and foods. Amd pretty much mix a drink to match. He also made off menu drinks as well. I think going at a slightly less busy time enables you to properly appreciate the mixology. I imagine is busier times getting the experience we received would be more difficult. As I imagine if gets extremely busy. It felt like he really enjoyed his work and really cared about us. And wanted us to have a good time. To say we did was an understatement.If you're a rum lover I definitely recommend dropping in for a few drinks. They also have dice games to determine cocktail prices. But to be honest, I wasn't that bothered about the price. A high quality drinking experience. One not to be missed.

Fab cocktails, fab service and great little Tiki bar! A must visit if in the area and across the road from the tube! Booking it via FB was easy, quick and very friendly. When we were there, the waitress came to play a quick dice game with us too that if you won (I did!) you get a percentage off your drinks! Fabulous! Great music too. Wish we had had more time to stay there longer but both myself and my husband really liked it!

That is a place to go! This is a real piece of little heaven, the staff is absolutely amazing, paying attention to each one of their customers, the atmosphere is the best I've seen in a long time. Bartenders and Waitress dancing together on the floor when some good jam would pass. The music was hits from the 90's to the latest ones. Far from being pretentious this place still makes gorgeous cocktails, perfectly balanced for all tastes. Being in the industry myself I get hardly impressed, but this time I was and I believe that the staff made this experience incredible! Garnishes were not the most impressive, and it's a thing I would love to be improved but that won't save me from coming back! Well done the beachcomber you won my heart!

Came here after a visit to The Lounge in Whiteleys. It was very late at night and most of the other bars were either closed or about to.This bar has a really nice ambience with friendly staff and crowd. Everyone seemed very approachable and happy to have a little natter.Very nice cocktails. Only thing is be prepared to have to put ur card behind the bar to buy drinks.. It's the policy.

Spent a semester abroad in London and stepped into the beachcomber on many different occasions during my stay. The bar itself is small but feels cozy, has a great atmosphere and the staff provided excellent conversation and the drinks were even better, I'd highly recommend you stop by for a dice game and ask the bartenders to surprise you with a drink of their making.

There are a lot of great places in the Bayswater area- this is not one of them. It's a creepy dive with rude staff and over priced, low quality drinks. It's easy to feel claustrophobic and trapped in there. Needless to say I will not be going back!

This has to be the best bar in London. I'm sure there are quite a few bars in London. I don't profess to having been to them all but this one will be hard to beat. The cocktails the range of spirits the Music and the absolutely amazing staff are what make this place so special.

This hidden gem on Queensway is a fantastic intimate tiki bar! They've perfected some brilliant signature cocktails, and with their extensive range of aged and agricole rums, I couldn't help but ask the bartender to whip me up an Old Fashioned and Corn N' Oil! Their happy hour deal is creative too...'roll the dice' to win up to 70% off your drinks from 6pm-10pm! I'll definitely be making return visit!

This has to be hands down one of the best bars in London! Tucked away in a cosy little space below street level, the daunting stairs as you enter makes you think twice, but worth the trip down. From the fantastic staff to the most amazing cocktails, they have it down! They're able to recommend the best mixes and which alcohol/flavors blend well together. A wide range of rums from the Caribbean are available that creates that sense of home for a far away West Indian and all reasonably priced! If you're ever in the city it is definitely worth trekking down to Queensway for! Thank you Beachcomber for the fantastic nights!

Talked several times on this trip to the owner, who bought the place fairly recently and is working hard to make it into a great place to go. The staff is friendly, and the bartenders are keen to be excellent; the one I talked to one night was very big on competitions, for example. Ended up going there three times during my stay, as I always felt welcome.

we stayed in the area in july, and couldn't of been any happier! The drinks we're amazing and offered a huge variety of flavours and the polite funny staff even offered to make us a drink not on the menu as we didn't know what we fancied. They offer a game to get 70% or 40% off!!!!!!! yes you read that correctly. If you go between 6-10pm you get to play a dice game and win money off. Drinks without discount are around the £7/£8 mark. also offered us a small platter of biscuits and cheese for free on arrival. CANT FAULT THE PLACE.

Great drinks, stylie decor, super friendly staff - bartender Ashera a total pro and sweet and gorgeous and all of that. Old school Tiki but not a bit not cheesy, a great find. Do yourself a favor and stop in. COMPLETELY DISREGARD IDIOT'S 1STAR REVIEW BELOW - the bouncers are both gentlemen and scholars. And they love Americans.

Small underground bar in Bayswater that's open till late with a great and friendly atmosphere. The music is dependent on who's behind the bar so can be hit and miss, the cocktails are all freshly made, and every time I've gone here the staff always pop down some nibbles which are always appreciated :-)

We wondered in here on our last night in London and travelled home a little worse for wear the next day!!! The cocktails were the best we have ever had and very potent. Nice vibe to this place and although expensive not altogether unexpected as it was central London bar. Would return

it is a nice bar, great drinks and bartenders are very friendly. However, don't expect such a thing from the security guards cuz they are extremely unprofessional, such as, if you are a guy, security guard would kick you out if you don't buy drinks within 10 mins without any warning. one of the security guard clearly has a temper issue, he would curse a lot to you if you're trying to ask why and he is racist about foreigners too, especially americans. even though this security guard is a foreign himself from morocco. my favorite quote from security guards" why don't care S*** about customers!" and my favorite moment is, i tried to record their behavior, before i even start recording, i was aggressively attacked by the security guard and ripped my phone away, ON THE PUBLIC STREET.

Will always come back... After their refurbishment it even turned out to be a better place than before... Always enjoyed the great people and the great cocktails!!!! Don't change guys you're doing a great job !

Found this place at random about 2 years ago. The staff was nice but the place was missing that special vibe. Since then it's gone under major renovation and it became even better that I could have imagined. Drinks are amazing and the staff is great! The whole place has that tiki vibe that really takes you out of the foggy London and lets you forget about daily problems. It's perfect for an easy night out or if you're up for a party. Definitely one of my go to places in London.
