Lovely dinner and BYOB is a great money-saver. Excellent option near the comedy club for pre gig dinner.

Lovely little restaurant .Food was delicious with great choices. Lamb kebab was so tender and beautifully spiced. The Aubergine dip for starter was really interesting and flavourful. Highly recommended

I ate at this restaurant this evening.I ordered food and said I was allergic to gluten, they reassured me it was not a problem and they would take care of it. They brought me a plate with aubergine and tortillas, I ate them but then, because I didn't feel well, I asked if the tortillas were gluten-free and they said they had gluten. It is an incatteable mistake, I am celliac but I do not have a reaction that requires hospitalization, but someone else could have had a severe allergic reaction. These mistakes should not be tolerated. Without a doubt I will not return to this restaurant.

Freshly prepared, delicious food at reasonable prices for the West End. The vegetable stew with chicken and cous cous was particularly good. Attentive service from delightful staff. BYOB is a real bonus. We will be back!

Friendly and courteous service, nice quiet atmosphere - it wasn't very busy that night though. They had quite a few things not available from the menu, but still just enough to choose from. Food was okay: falafel burger and chips were good, baklava and cheesecake were alright. Reasonable prices, about right for what you get.

We went for dinner. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food was well cooked and tasted great. We tried to choose more authentic dishes, which were a delight. Service was spot on, and prices very reasonable.

Dropped in with a mate for breakfast on Saturday morning as we usually do when I'm visiting from London. I must say I love this place and the food is amazing as always and prepared with dedication and care. The staff are always great and the manager always takes time to say hi and are really welcoming. Everybody only has good things to say about The Bay Tree and this is well deserved. Great job guys 👍

My first visit here and a pleasant experience, a smiling welcome from a charming young woman and the food was well presented and most enjoyable.

Absolutely brilliant food and service, a little gem not to be overlooked. Be aware that it's BYOB, we were disappointed we could not get a wine or beer and that stopped us going 5 stars. Maybe something to make more prominent on social nedia and Web site. However don't let this put you off!

Freshly squeezed orange juice, mezze, , vegetarian choices, desserts. Lovely food. Reasonably priced. A small cafe. Service a little slow. With a smile so go for a leisurely lunch, or coffee and cake.

The menu is all embracing, veggie, vegan and meat. Premises were excellent. Service wonderful. Bring your own booze was brilliant. £10 for a nice bottle of wine instead of £16 for a bottle of rubbish house wine. Just a shame they closed at 9pm. I felt a little bit rushed even though we got there at 19:30. However, I would definitely go again but book a table for 7 o'clock. Lovely place. 👍👍

Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. If I had to nitpick I think the food service was a wee bit slow considering they weren't busy and we would've liked a few more flatbreads with the mezze platter. Will definitely be back though.

I had the pleasure of dining in this lovely restaurant this evening.. my food was delicious. l would recommend to anybody wanting to try somewhere different to eat. I will certainly be back and recommend to friends and family. The lovely waitress was an asset to the establishment also.

Nice little eatery/restaurant, which has been around for some time, serving a range of dishes from some of the Mediterranean countries (more from Turkish/Greek/North African side), all accompanied by pleasant service! Think you can bring your own bottle too. Serves lovely latte☕️& few nice tea options! 🫖

My wife and I had a lovely brunch a week ago. She had the Turkish omelette, I was jealous, but my vegetarian breakfast is the best I have had. Everything cooked from fresh, no oil on plate, a real treat. Finished off with a Turkish coffee.

Gorgeous wee local place; foods great atmosphere is cosy and staff are lovely. Unlike most generic westend places, has been there for years.

The food was amazing, the menu extensive and the prices were very reasonable. The service was a bit laid back and it took an hour to get our food. Nice atmosphere. I'd definitely try again and hope the lackluster service was a fluke.

Food took well over an hour to arrive, and that's with the place nearly empty, us and 2 other tables. when the food did arrive, they had somehow forgotten to make one of the meals, so that took another half an hour to arrive. when the food did arrive it was mediocre at best. Crazy they can have a kitchen with at least four people working in, and an near empty restaurant and still take well over an hour to serve four people. would hate to see them busy.

This is a small restaurant but I can only say that the food is fresh and delicious. The first time I went this was a vegetable stew which I had with couscous and came with a lovely salad and chicken on top. The second time I had a delicious lamb shank with couscous and salad. The lamb was cooked in its own juices with delicious herbs....Loved it....

Sat us at a table, chef was arsey with us and we got moved. Asked to change an ingredient in the breakfast, got charged way extra when the ingredient itself was more expensive for the one replaced. Wouldn't let us split a £70 bill 3 ways. Food was mediocre.

As a group of 7, we arrived to be told our choice from the menu was restricted due to the size of the group. Some items were not available. Starters were good but mains were dry and tasteless. One person ordered fish which they had run out of, she asked for prawns but when plate arrived it was a thick slice of salmon on a bed of rice and to make it worse the salmon was not properly cooked. They took it away but didn't ask if she wanted anything else. I think this restaurant is highly overrated and overpriced. I would not recommend to anyone

Terrific restaurant. Really friendly staff, wonderful quality grilled meats and delicious meze and salads. Huge portions and brilliant value for money. Bring your own wine too. Very, very highly recommended.

Lovely people and the food was delicious, i absolutely recommended! The cafe is cosy and warm. The interior is nice too, it is a great place.

Although there were some hiccups in throughout the duration of the visit, these could easily be explained by the fact that the reservation was originally made for 8 people and at the last minute it was changed to 11 people. The food was top quality and the waitress did a good job serving a table of that size on a busy night. The service was quick and management was very accommodating of such a large group. My only suggestion would be to have a system in place to make it possible to separate the bill at the end of the meal but otherwise the experience was a positive one.

Service very bad, the waitress was completely lost and the moment to take the orders, she was unable to advice us on the meals « I don’t know I don’t like it », not possible to choose to many different meals because we were 11 so we had to change. Paiement by card was impossible so we had to look for cash machines in town and after that we had to pay together, we couldn’t separate what we ate and had to pay. Bad experience

Popped in out of the rain today for a coffee. It was the best coffee I have had for a long time. The other half had a waffle with Ice cream.... fantastic. I wish I had one to myself, cause I just had to help him. Thank you Baytree. We don't live locally but trust me, we will definitely be back. Fabby.
