What a great time we all had as a family for Mother's day, everything was so lovely, food, service was incredible. We have booked for Christmas Day(YES Christmas) need to get it booked early, this place is mwaaa, trust us, you will enjoy it honestly.

Looking for somewhere different to celebrate an occasion and stubbled across this little gem. Great food and service plus there was a fantastic buzz about the place. Will definitely return!

Great food and brilliant service. I had the fish tacos from the specials menu followed by the fillets steak. My son had the scallops followed by the duck. All dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were excellent.

The food was lovely, staff great. Dining with my brother. Got shoved in a back room, near the kitchen and coffee machine. No music and atmosphere shocking away from the main dining room. Decor drab, cold and un welcoming. Good food, but won't be revisiting. Real shame.

We have enjoyed good meals at this restaurant since last Summer, both midweek and Sunday lunches. Today was a real low point, not so much for the warm white wine and cold starters and main courses, and an inability to make an Irish coffee, but the ga t that the Manager did not come to our table to address the issues we raised, but left it to his waitresses to constantly apologise. Completely unacceptable, and we won’t be back.

Great experience! We booked late and they fitted us in as party of 6. The food was lovely for everyone. The service was warm and helpful. We are not local but would definitely return when we go back to the area. Thank you!

What can I say - every meal I have ever had at Elliot's is divine - he really is a great chef. The food is cooked fresh to order and is absolutely beautiful. There's not much I haven't tried but my particular favourites are fillet steak, fish and chips, the gnocchi starter and braised beef (on the current specials menu), chicken souvlaki - and the amazing Sunday roast. The staff are just delightful - friendly, efficient, always smiling and always attentive without being intrusive. If you haven't been then you really are missing out on this gem of a restaurant. It must be nearly a year since we last visited, so it was with a little trepidation that we returned last Friday. We needn’t have worried. Same friendly, efficient service from front of house. We took a leisurely aperitif whilst we chose from the menu. Completely different from last time but equally varied with plenty of vegetarian options for my wife. The food was served in a timely manner and was delicious. I went for seared scallops to start. I always order when I see this option. I followed up with tenderloin of pork. Both times I cleared my plate but was left feeling pleasantly full. There is a good selection of reasonably priced wine, which was why we chose to walk. Unfortunately we live so close that it’s difficult to book a taxi. It’s a good walk home during which we discussed our meal and congratulated our choice

Just had a Sunday roast. Busy cosy warm atmosphere. Fast efficient and professional staff. Now for the food - we all had a mixture of chicken or beef roast. Crispy potatoes proper whole carrot that tasted like home grown yum, giant crispy yorkshire all stood out for me. I didn’t have wine or starter or desert as on a diet but will be back!

Had fillet steak which was cooked to perfection as always. Veg cooked beautifully and chips delicious. The service was as always outstanding

Lovely restaurant very friendly staff warm and welcoming. Food was amazing. Me and my friend chose off the set menu excellent value for the money. We both had the same meals but all other plates which went passed us looks so good. Can't wait to return

We dine at Elliot’s on a regular basis but yesterday was our first Christmas Day family meal and all I can say is wow, our family of 9 all agreed it was the best they have ever had,the staff were amazing as usual nothing was too much trouble,the food was amazing we have a couple of fussy grandsons and they said it was the best food ever,me and my wife had traditional Turkey roast the rest of our party had fillet steak and our grandsons were pinching our roasties they we’re so good,absolutely the best well done guys see you soon 👏👏👏❤️

A fabulous friendly restaurant with excellent food. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff were lovely. We had such a fun evening with an impromptu sing-a-long. We would highly recommend this place for a lovely meal, atmosphere and attention to detail.

Came last night for a Christmas meal with a friend. Had the Christmas fayre menu, lovely goats cheese salad and a gorgeous Turkey roast with epic gravy! It was a very busy night with a few large parties in, the waitresses and bar staff worked their socks off and were just fabulous. The service was second to none. Always such a warm welcome at Elliots.

What a disgrace. We have eaten here many times and always enjoy the food. The waiting on staff are lovely and always friendly and efficient, and make our visits so enjoyable. But despite the lovely food we will never eat here again. We visited on Sunday and appreciate it's a busy day - but we are always looked after and served in good time. But last Sunday the manager shouted and swore at some of the waitresses, and we saw that some of them were crying. He should be ashamed of himself. I will tell everyone I know not to go to Elliot's again because the manager treats those girls extremely badly

First visit today we sat outside to eat and the service was quick and friendly, food was beautiful with so much to choose from it’s a fantastic menu. Cocktails were very tasty too and fairly priced. We will be back very soon!!

What a fab find...been 2 Fridays in a row and then a Sunday and cant wait to go back with all my girlfriends next month.Great atmosphere, lovely food, plenty of food and fab cocktail and gin choice.The staff where very attentive even though one of the Fridays was the 1st week indoors. Definitely recommend and be back again(in fact already booked and picked our tapas dishes)

This was our first visit. The restaurant is lovely, the staff are really friendly and the food tasty. Also great value for money, can’t wait to visit again.

Went out recently with friends, very excited to be eating inside a restaurant again. First thing you notice on entering the Bay Horse is the loud deafening music, conversation practically impossible. With staff wearing masks and the booming music it was no surprise we couldn't tell what they were saying and certainly they got several orders wrong.4 of us, the meals were all brought at different times and when they did manage to bring the right meal it wasn't very nice. Just about the only thing the staff were any good at was asking us every 2 minutes if we wanted another drink.

We have been this restaurant all the time food always amazing warm and tasty as always staff very friendly amazing service highly recommend we ll return back again and again never disappointed xxxx

Warm welcome delighted to be back at .my nearest pub/restaurant. Well organised outdoor seating Good food Am taking two friends/neighbours next time Only drawback as with all outdoor dining, food can cool quickly but that cannot be helped.

For Mother's Day my family treated me to a takeaway from my favourite place - and it didn't disappoint!! Can't wait to be back in the restaurant but the takeaway was at least a substitute!

I ordered a takeaway from Mediterranean 3 At The Bay Horse on a Thursday night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Obviously we would normally eat out but due to lockdown could not do that. We decided to order due to the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely fantastic. We loved the Garlic Bread absolutely how it should be very garlicky. So often from other places, it tastes more like a cheese pizza. Not from here it’s absolutely spot on.My daughter had a Margarita Pizza which was lovely. Nice thin crust. We ordered the Tapas deal. Everything was really lovely but the highlights were the King Prawn Saganaki, Fegatini, Ribs and Borek.A fantastic meal and looking forward to dining at Mediterranean 3 post lockdown.Highly recommended

They have been open for takeaway during lockdowns. Delicious pizza with the following toppings: mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, olives and basil.

Ordered a takeaway during lockdown and the quality of the food was as if we were there at the restaurant. Great portion size and flavour was not lost at all. Would definitely recommend to anyone and thoroughly enjoyed. Will visit when allowed and encourage anyone new to try!

We are really really missing our meals out at Med 3 but at least we can order a takeaway! Chicken souvlaki is my favourite, but everything I’ve ever had has been delicious. Just fab!

Before the second lockdown we decided to visit our favourite restaurant for dinner. We haven't visited for a couple of months - it was busy but as always the staff are so efficient and there was no undue wait times. The food, as always, was absolutely perfect, as was the service and the ever friendly staff. We will continue to support you through lockdown by means of takeaways - please keep doing what you do!

Booked a meal for a family of 6 and from start to finish the service and food was top class. This is how you run a restaurant. Warm welcome, speedy service and top class food. My partner and I decided to visit The Bay Horse and take advantage of the Eat out to help out scheme. The food was some of the best we've had! The service was just as good as the food too! We were made to feel special, and despite how busy it was, we felt very well looked after. Will return soon!

So lucky to have this fabulous restaurant on my doorstep. The food is just wonderful and the staff couldn't be friendlier or harder working. Every meal I have had here has been perfect and more than enough portion wise. Highly recommended - if you haven't already been you need to book! (Please bring back the sea bass soon!)

After our last visit we decided to try again and see if it was just as good and we weren't disappointed . Had the calamari starter which was excellent and the lasagna for main , this was also lovely. The staff were as helpful as last time .couldn't fault service or food .

Came here with my family last night and was by far the best restaurant we’ve ever come to. I had the calamari for my starter and my husband had the mussels which were both outstanding. For my main I had the seafood paella which was lovely and the portion sizes were more than enough that I had to get it for takeaway. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and the manager was was so nice. Highly recommend, will definitely be coming back again!! X

We ordered a takeaway from this restaurant and it was terrible, the calamari was undercooked and was sludge in a tray. The food was lukewarm, although seasoned just right. The salad and sauces were very nice. However, I will not be using this place again.

Only discovered this place last weekend and visited again this weekend too. Absolutely love it. The service is great. Lovely friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Considering lockdown the restaurant kept us informed and checked we were also being safe as there are 8 of our family meeting for celebration meal. On arrival table was beautifully decorated, staff very cheerful and attentive. Greek meze and Turkish meze as starters to share absolutely amazing, the varied main courses came out on time and together each dish hot. 3 of our group had seafood paella the flavours were so enjoyable with the calamari tender and not overcooked. Children’s meals also enjoyed by our two children with us. So much food we had to take some home. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough, best Mediterranean food we have had in a long time, and birthday definitely memorable. Highly recommended.

Ordered our takeaway tapas along with our usual wine last week and it was delicious as usual. So looking forward to having the full wine and dine experience when everything returns back to some sort of normality 😊 you've been missed.

I’ve just ordered takeaway for myself and my Dad on a Saturday evening. Placed the order at 5.10pm ready to collect at 5.30pm 😁 Food was absolutely piping hot and really fresh and tasty, very generous portion sizes and great prices, would highly recommend 👍🏻

We've had a few mediocre takeaway meals whilst in lockdown, but the two we've had from The Mediterranean at the Bay Horse have been outstanding. All meals were super tasty and red hot. We had pizzas, pasta and some of the chicken meals and they were all delicious. Won't go anywhere else from now on. The staff here are all lovely too, they really go out of their way to make their customers feel special. 10 out of 10 !!

Ordered a takeaway which was ready in 50 minutes and really tasty. I had the chicken souvlaki which was as good as when I’ve eaten it in the restaurant!!

Just had a takeaway. I have to say we were very disappointed. Having read previous reviews i was looking forward to it. The tapas ordered was very dry and obviously not freshly prepared. The chicken kebab and lamb kofta were also very dry and almost inedible. The only good thing about what we ordered was the pizza. That went down very well. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Very bad....over an hour late....paid over £60 for what should have been £20 from a typical town cheap takeaway...meant to be a restaurant....joke really, it will be closed in a matter of months in my opinion...these people that say it’s nice have obviously never been to a restaurant before

Since lockdown they have now started doing takeaway, as we had eaten here numerous times before decided to give it a go, we ordered Pizza and Tapas and the standard of food supplied was as good as what you would expect in the restaurant, if you are looking for a quality takeaway and don't mind paying a little more it's definitely worth it, I would certainly recommend, hoping to make this our weekly treat to see us through these strange times :-)

Overall we were disappointed with our evening. The food was decent but not exceptional. The service was honestly disappointing. Waiters did not seem to have set tables, they were criss crossing. Our starter was served to someone else, and after our starter the waitress offered us the desert menu. We had to ask for service each time, little proactive customer engagement.

Absolutely amazing place!! Great menu choices, nothing was too much trouble even for the gluten free members of the party, very attentive staff, fabulous service, great value for money, kids thought it was 'the best pizza ever' looking forward to going back.

Went here for first time in its latest incarnation. Staff welcoming and knowledgeable. Restuarant well decorates with a good ambience Food well presented and plentiful with the advertised Mediterranean twist. We were both too full to be tempted by desserts. There's an extensive choice both for meat eaters an veggies. Prices reasonable Its a good addition to the area and I hope it is more succcessful than its predecessors

Visited for Friday night tea and although we haven't been for a little while it was as brilliant as ever! Both me and my husband had the same as we had last time as it was so good - and we weren't disappointed. Gorgeous food and such friendly and attentive staff. What more could you ask for?

Managed to get in last minute for new year. When you walk in the atmosphere is amazing . The staff are very friendly and attentive. Always made sure that there was a drink in our hands. The cocktails where amazing. We ordered 9 tapas from the menu between us and they was beautiful. Definitely go back again soon !

We are so fortunate in having this restaurant here in Whittle-le-Woods. We took some American visitors for Sunday lunch and were in no way disappointed. We much enjoyed the Moroccan Lamb Tagine, and the mackerel pâté starter, both of which were beautifully prepared and presented. As on every other occasion, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, and we leave saying the same thing: "Why don't we come more often!"

Took my son, his wife and our granddaughter out for a birthday meal. The food was great, they do not scrimp on the portions. Would go there again.

Went to Med3 for our Christmas dinner . What a Fab meal couldn't fault it . From starters to pudding enjoyed every course . The staff worked so hard . Not our first visit but our first Christmas dinner there . Will be back for Christmas dinner next year x

What a fantastic restaurant to visit, we had tapas and it was superb. The guys Umit & Sayfo couldn’t do enough for us, I would go just to see these guys again. We will definitely be going back on a weekly basis. Well done guys

We were recommended the Bay Horse by a couple we were chatting to after a visit to another restaurant. We are really glad we listened to them, the menu is Mediterranean with dishes from Spain, Greece, Turkey and Italy.

Despite living locally only tried this place for the first time at the weekend (in our defence there are a lot of excellent alternatives) Booked online and arrived on time to find they had no record of the booking, no free tables and were parked at the bar with menus. Was expecting to be forgotten and this to set the scene for the rest of the night but could not have been more wrong. They found our booking, found us a table and were as apologetic about it as I have ever seen in a restaurant. They then went and sent some complimentary drinks over which made us forget all about the earlier mix up. Enough about the service, how about the food. At first glance, the menu seems to be a little bit all over the place. But further investigation reveals all the major European nations are covered with pizza/pasta, kebabs, tapas and English dishes all represented. One word...delicious. I went for the pepperoni starter not expecting to receive 3 whole little spicy tasty sausages, sweet chilli dip and a crisp green salad. Was very nice and quite filling. Went for the chicken & kofta kebabs for main and it was fantastic. Two big (clearly handmade) koftas and two decent size chicken kebabs, complimented with rice, salsa, fabulous crispy fluffy chips and a huge flat bread. I have a huge appetite but this beat me. I really persevered as it was all so nice but had to give up with some left. Maybe the chips were an ingredient too far but all delicious none the less. They continued to be apologetic about the earlier mix up and we left as best friends vowing to return. Prices are a little on the high side I think but when the service and food are of such a high standard it's definately worth it. We will not be leaving it so long before we return next time and can thoroughly recommend this place.

As a family we really enjoy Mediterranean food so decided to give Mediterranean 3 at the Bay Horse a try. We shared a selection of starters and then some of the tapas for main with the children choosing pizza and chicken nuggets.

Always great service and great food. Very clean, wide range of beers and gins. Kids love the place to which is great!!

My husband and I visited Mediterranean 3 last night for my birthday meal as we had been recommended to go a while back and had not had the chance. I'm kicking myself now as if we had gone sooner we would have been able to enjoy their wonderful food on a regular basis. As once you go I'm sure you will be going back again and again.
