The Barking Dog in Barking and Dagenham

29/10/2020: The food is pretty standard pub grub, freshly cooked, tasty and big portions. There is free parking and is all well organised for Covid. Sharon was great - friendly, very patient when my daughter couldn't decide what to have, and seemed to magically appear whenever we wanted anything. She turned what would have been a nice meal out into something much more enjoyable - thanks.

06/08/2020: So we haven't been out over the lockdwon period like a lot of familys and decided to stay close to home for our first restaurant experience with the new measures in place for eating out.Exceptional greeting by the manager and staff well versed the new rules and regs of the reasturant very pleased.And I was amazed by how everything ran smoothly like clock work we where seated and told we have our own server who will come to us to take food and drink orders.We where explained the 1 way system to use the toilets or to go outside and to return to the table if needed the all explained by the Manager Rachel I think that was her name made the experience feel like normal.The food and drinks service was great didnt have to wait long and the restaurant was busy. We were served within 5 mins of being seated and drinks 5 after that food 10mins after that it all worked so well.Hats off to the team at the restaurant and the chefs the whole experience felt like normal as if nothing had changed the place oozed like it had been redecorated and fresh Clean ever where The servers cleaned after each time at the table when clearing either drinks or food that we had had ie empty glasses or plates I could go on and on about how safe i felt knowing I was being looked after by staff the fQuality of the food the whole experience was great and will be eating there more often See for yourself safe and sound the place to be for family dinning knowing you are well looked after Thank you brewery's fayre checkers corner you have restored my faith in eating out again 5 stars
