The Bank Bar & Grill in Blackpool

Very nice restaurant, was surprised to find this in Blackpool as the standards very were very high. I had the bacon cheese burger which was recommended on an article when I was googled The Bank Bar and Grill The burger was lovely and juicy and not at all over done, the meat was a nice medium rare with a pink hue to it and a good price of about £14, which a choice of chunky chips, fries, spicy fries or paprika seasoned fries. This is a restaurant I'd expect to find in the heart of Manchester city centre or somewhere quaint like York. The staff were nice and friendly too and had some banter with you, normally I don't go to Blackpool because I'm not a fan of the vibe but when I wass eating my food I forgot I was in Blackpool. If i ever get dragged back to Blackpool for any reason I'd definitely go back here for tea.

Service was fine, food mediocre, cold food which was rectified but over all, above average price for common average food. wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return for evening meal

The team at The bank were attentive without being overbearing, polite and courteous, they were genuinely interested to know if we enjoyed our experience dining with them... which we did 😄. The Bank is a great place to eat and unwind away from the hustle of the main strip. The food was excellent (fish finger sandwich, ham and cheese toasty and Nicoise salad, side of paprika fries) and very tasty and also competitively priced. The Bank were also very welcoming to our little boy and made him feel extra special with a side plate of fruit to eat before his lunch came out. First time trying The Bank bar and grill. A warm welcoming atmosphere as soon as we walked in the place. Staff where pleasant from the second we walked in. The food was absolutely amazing, from the starters to the dessert 🍨. The drinks were flowing. The cocktails were stunning. All in all 100%, staff, food, atmosphere were outstanding. Went here at the weekend. Had a slight issue with a steak not being cooked quite enough. Staff couldn’t have been better in dealing with it. Fresh steak brought back with extras! Really pleased and will definitely be back when we’re back in Blackpool 😊

Simply Brilliant. Been coming Blackpool for years and this is the best. I came here because of the reviews and its accurate. 6 of us and i approached front door customers coming out saying how good it was. I had Slrloin Steak which was cooked to perfection. the 6 of us joked about guessing our bill which ranged between £170 - £220. It came to £137 including tips. OMG Brilliant. And to top it off the staff were very entertaining. Gem of a restaurant. will defo 100% come again and recommend to friends.

We came here for the first time and had an incredible experience. We booked a table but called if we could arrive a bit earlier due to our concert finishing earlier and they happily changed around our booking. The meal was incredible! I had lamb shank which was so tender and flavourful and my fiancé had the steak which was incredible. We got a couple of cocktails and they even made us cocktails that weren't on the menu. The staff was super attentive and lovely. Think the staff experience we had is probably the best one we've ever had. We will definitely come back again!

We go here at least 3 or 4 times a month. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating it’s like nothing is an inconvenience to them. Big smiles when you arrive, if you’ve not been before they explain about allergies etc and that literally 95% of the menu can be adapted to suit individuals! I can attest to this as I’m quite fussy! Food is always on point, filet steak, sirloin, sea bass, salmon, the list goes on. Best place in Blackpool by a golden mile! Love this place so if you haven’t already then you must try it, you won’t regret.

We stopped here for our anniversary and has a great meal out. Our waiter was very nice along with all the staff and the food was perfectly cooked. A little expensive but worthwhile for the quality and service.

The only positive about our experience here this afternoon was the staff. They were all very welcoming and offered amazing customer service. The food however, was a huge let down. After reading some great reviews we decided to eat here before watching our daughter who was performing in the Tower Ballroom nearby. We found most of it inedible or just tasteless. The nachos in particular were just bizarre: served with a huge mass of cheese and soft cheese, no salsa or any other ingredient added! Just a small plate of a few dips that were below par also. Unfortunately, we won't be returning and it is a shame as like i said, the staff were all fabulous.

We went as a party of 6 for the Christmas menu. The food was fabulous, as was the service we got. We had a thoroughly good evening and can't wait to return. We'll done The Bank staff.

Had a fabulous 3 course Christmas meal with work yesterday afternoon. Every course was lovely and the staff were absolutely so polite and attentive and provided a 5 star service. Would definitely recommend

I had been meaning to visit for a while after reading great reviews and we were not disappointed. The menu was not particularly exciting with nothing out of the ordinary, but the food was delicious and the service outstanding (automatic service charge is added to the bill). Warm greeting by lovely staff at the Bank Bar & Grill in Blackpool this lunchtime. Great food and service - will definitely come here again!!

Never been before & was extremely pleased we booked. Fabulous cocktails. The mixologist guy even came up to us to ask how were we enjoying our cocktails & if there was anything he could do to make them better. My Long Island Iced Tea was perfect as was my friends Bloody Mary. Waiter service was excellent with some great recommendations. For starter had the mushrooms with a garlic mayo followed by Chicken Stroganoff which was delicious. There was no rush at our table & we had 3 hours eating & drinking & chatting. All in all a lovely experience. Will definitely book again.

This evening, my family and I visited Bank Restaurant, where we were initially met with a delightful culinary experience. The dishes were superb, offering a rich tapestry of flavors that we thoroughly enjoyed. The service, too, was commendable, with our server exhibiting a level of attentiveness and warmth that significantly added to our dining pleasure. However, the evening’s pleasant tone was marred towards the end. After we had purchased a round of shots, an unfortunate incident occurred where my six-year-old daughter accidentally knocked 4 shot over on the server’s tray. The server handled the situation with grace and understanding, quickly replacing the shots and even offering a non-alcoholic drink for my daughter, a gesture we appreciated. The issue arose with the final bill. Despite the accidental nature of the incident and the server’s initial display of understanding, we were charged again for the replaced shots. This decision, explained as a directive from management, left us feeling unfairly treated. The unexpected additional charge, especially after we had already paid for the original shots, was disheartening. The food and the initial service at Bank Restaurant were indeed impressive, but this experience with the billing has overshadowed the positives of our visit. It’s with regret that we have decided not to return to the restaurant. The issue isn’t just about the extra charge, but the principle and the sudden shift in the handling of a simple accident.

Visited tonight whilst on a short break in Blackpool. Was made to feel very welcome as soon as we walked in. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent with all of us enjoying our starters and mains ( we were too full for dessert unfortunately!) would definitely recommend and would visit again x

My husband & I booked a table for last night back in August when we knew we were making our annual trip to Blackpool from the South Coast to dance socially at the Tower Ballroom. We 1st ate here 2 years ago, having found on TripAdvisor & it was so memorable! (Last year, unfortunately, we visited on days the restaurant is closed.) Front of house & all other staff gave excellent customer service with a smile & friendly approach. We ordered the same food as 2 years ago (foccacia & dips to share & a beef fillet stroganoff & a mushroom stroganoff) & weren't disappointed!! Absolutely gorgeous food & a Shiraz at sensible prices & with excellent service. Thank you! We'll be back next year!!!!

Second visit here, however we were a little disappointed this time. We were greeted by a friendly man and shown to our table. We ordered some breads to start followed by 3 mains. We felt the service was quite slow (had to ask for our bread after more than 20 minutes of waiting). There seemed to be plenty of staff, but they didn't seem that attentive. After our starters, again there was a bit of a wait, my chicken shish was on served on a very hot plate with lettuce garnish on the hot plate - which wilted straight away and frankly was horrible, I had to push it to the side of the plate. The other meals were good and tasty (chicken stroganoff, pizza). So not what we remember from our first visit. Will probably try somewhere elsenext time.

We found this place on trip advisor and it didn’t disappoint. Great food and great drinks. Also great friendly staff and the service matched . Would really recommend this place. Our kids are you d and love steak(which they had on the kids menu surprisingly) food was cool perfect . We arrived as it had opened so was seated quick but it soon got busy and I can see why.Overall a very good experience and would highly recommend.

Got seated at the back of the restaurant under the stairs with another table right on top of us. Asked for house red wine told they had none. The food was hot in the middle but cold on the outside of the plate, definitely microwaved, so some what disappointed. The manager was a nice guy and we did not have the heart to send the food back.

Staff were so friendly and helpful I have dietary requirements and they were amazing and helpful about it, The food was amazing the best steak I’ve ever had cooked to perfection..they were great with my 3 year old grandson aswell ..great service and great food will highly recommend to everyone who visits Blackpool this place is a must

After being very saddened how Blackpool has gone down since our last visit many years ago we stumbled upon the Bank by chance. In the main there are the usual chains and the endless fish and chip shops here so to find this was like finding an Oasis in the dessert. They managed to find us a seat and as my wife is a coeliac they explained the menu in detail and what she could eat, which was pretty much the whole menu. The food was beautifully cooked and perfectly seasoned and freshly cooked. It was one of the best meals we have eaten and served attentively but not over so. So if like us you found Blackpool disappointing this will undoubtedly make the journey worthwhile

Went in for a brunch the greeting is warm as are the staff, this place has the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time, so a mini mixed grill was ordered and came with a side salad, the food was great but being picky here, salad looked a bit limp and felt this could have been ‘fresher’ and one small down side on the grill, the sausage resembled a frankfurter type sausage, would prefer to have a butchers choice, would I visit again? Yes. Was it value for money? Yes, I left over and above the service charge as I felt the team deserved ‘more’

What an awesome gem of a place, we went for a celebration meal and boy it was a absolute awesome place to dine in. Both the wife and I were absolutely amazed at the warmth of the staff, from when we entered to when we left, nothing was too much trouble for them. We both had the fillet steak and we’re both in agreement that it was one of the best steaks we had eaten from anywhere in the world. The Stilton sauce and the peppercorn sauce were exquisite. The only 2 downsides were 1 there is not one closer to home and 2 as a Somerset boy, the choice of ciders was a bit poor 😇😇

My partner and I love to come to the Bank for food but we usually wait to go for special occasions. It was our anniversary and we decided to celebrate at the bank, when we got there we had decorations on the table and some really really good champagne. Now I’m not a champagne drinker but that drink was amazing. Everyone remembered us and made sure to welcome us back and help make our night just a little bit more special. Our server was absolutely amazing!! He made us laugh and was able to find things in common with both of us so that way he was able to have full conversations with both of us and not leave the other sitting there in silence. Our night there was amazing thank you so much!

We dropped into the bank for a meal after a busy day in Blackpool. The menu had something that we all liked . It’s rare to find a restaurant that makes you feel relaxed while being spoilt by having Really nice food . Chuffed to have discovered this gem of a place . Would recommend to anybody . this place was absolutely lovely, no complaints at all, the staff were amazing!!! very welcoming and great service, my boyfriend who i went with said he would pick the lamb shank over me and pizza was also great, couldn’t finish all of the pizza so i took the rest to go. the halloumi fries were also the best halloumi fries i’ve ever had and the onion rings were so crispy!! overall great experience and next time we’re in blackpool we are definitely making a reservation here.

Lovely atmosphere lighting was purfect. We didn’t book a table but the staff managed to fit us in and were very friendly and helpful, purfect for romantic evenings or a family meal out. Very impressed buy the kids menu coming in different sizes according to your child’s appetite the food was fantastic fresh and very hot, we will definitely be back next time we visit Blackpool

Excellent family meal at the Bank Bar & Grill. We visited the restaurant whilst staying in Blackpool during the half-term break. Firstly, it's important to mention that we booked the restaurant weeks in advance and this was a smart move as every cover was booked on arrival. Secondly, our booking online (resi system) had come through to the restaurant as being for 2 people when we needed 4 so it's worth making sure that this is correct in advance of arrival. The restaurant manager made sure the team could accommodate our booking and made some adjustments (literally) to tables to get us seated, which we were immensely grateful for. The restaurant itself has a real mix of food options to suit all tastes and our mains were fantastic. All the food was cooked to perfection and we really enjoyed the attention to detail throughout our visit from the staff. The restaurant is clearly very popular and I can understand why, we really enjoyed our visit. If you're visiting Blackpool or live in Britain's best seaside town then this place should definitely be on your list of must visit restaurants

On a very wet Saturday I showed up with my family for our reservation with hungry wet kids in tow. Only to realise that our booking was for the next day 🤦🏻. Well the owner was amazing found us a table in a full restaurant and made us feel so welcome. We were so grateful I almost cried! Food was lovely and the cocktails delicious 🤣. Where to start, nothing is too much trouble, fully booked but still did birthday balloons and banners for our arrival. Special mention to Dean for that. Food reasonably priced and excellent . Great drinks menu. Excellent service and would definatley recommend. Will be back
