Steak night - great food, service and price.

We have came here at least 4 or so times a year for 7 or so years , tonight was shocking , terrible wait for drinks , starters arrived and had to keep asking about drinks , the to be informed cocktail out of stock , order a strawberry daiquiri and 5 mins or so our cocktail machine broken so just take a Coke starters finished and drinks arrive one starter was totally wrong also , main courses were ok but not as hot as would expect , but bar staff snappy when speaking not the waiter .We decide enough and don’t take deserts . Starter taken off bill but charges £11 for 2 small bottles of water, amended and blame conveniently places on young waiter which is not justified by the others or duty manager, if he was so new someone should have been overlooking him instead of scapegoat being made. We won’t be back ! So disappointed not the young waiter he was apologetic and seemed sincere . Also just before leaving cocktails appear to being made ingredients miraculously appeared !

I've eaten at the balgrarth a few time and always had a reasonable meal. The menu look varied and interesting but when we said we had a voucher the menu was replace with one that was very limited and plain. On the plus side the staff were great and couldn't do enough for us.

My son's 40th birthday celebration couldn't have gone any better, the new function room is lovely. I want to thank Janice & her team for ensuring everything went smoothly, the food was delicious & well presented. Would definitely recommend.

We came upon this place by accident, while looking for lunch near the rugby club. The food was excellent - particularly the beef - and even though there was a function taking place, the service was impeccable. We shall definitely return!

Lovely restaurant, Front of House staff friendly, polite and attentive. Food delicious, we had chicken teriyaki and husband the squid for starters then I had fish & chips ( huge plateful) my husband had the Sea bass with veg and mash which he said it was very good. No dessert this time. We went with an Itison voucher, well worth it and returning next month

Birthday lunch. Great selection on the menu so everyone got exactly what they fancied. Food was delicious! Plates not overloaded but nice big portions! 👍😂

Good food and wine at very affordable price

We were just visiting the area and decided on lunch there as it was a dog friendly place. Cannot fault the place, food was excellent and the service was brilliant. Highly recommend this place.

In with the family for a meal. Used an it is on voucher. Didn't want alcoholic drinks, so asked for soft drinks instead. Was told this was no problem. Service was terrible. Could tell we weren't wanted. When it came time to pay I went to get the car and when my wife came out she told me how aggressive the male "supervisor " was to her, snatching the receipt from her hand stating the soft drinks were outside of the deal and tried to charge £20 for four soft drinks instead of alcoholic ones that we didn't have. Tried say this was all clarified to us when we came in. It wasn't. Slammed the till like he was trying to break it. I won't be back there any time soon. Disgusting behaviour from anyone never mind someone serving in hospitality in a local restaurant.

Friends and I had Martin’s tasting menu. Cannot fault either the food or service. So good we plan repeating the experience after Christmas.

Called in without a reservation but it was not a problem for Janice who made us so welcome. We met Megan who was our server. Both were so friendly and attentive during our visit. Both are great ambassadors for the company. Big shout out too the kitchen brigade for the very high standard of food. The next extension is wonderful with a great atmosphere. Will be back for sure.

A locally eatery, we’ve had many meals here, both with family, friends and as a couple. The food is usually excellent and atmosphere is good. Has a variety of different parts to it, and has recently had an upgrade with a new section being built. Has a cracking fire place, a modern function sweet, an outdoor beer garden, a large children's play area. Has a variety of deals and worth checking Facebook etc for up to date offers. They cater for family functions and can tailor fixed menu’s for your needs, accommodating and reasonable. Ample parking is available onsite.

Great restaurant with wonderful service and good price.

Really slow service. We sat with our main course dishes in front of us for about 30 minutes until I had to find someone to ask them to clear our plates away and take our dessert order. Food was good but the service was really poor and would put us off coming back. I wouldn't be quick to recommend this restaurant.

Attended a function here. The buffet food was amazing!!! They brought plates of food to each table rather than have us line up for it, which was SO much better! Highly recommend this place for a function or event.

Booked for a birthday dinner weeks before and we were sat at a table next to the toilet in the bar. Service was slow, waiter seemed quite cheeky. Starters were cold, some mains were good such as steak pie and fish and chips some were terrible i.e. the chicken crepe and veg bean burger which again was cold. I had a steak with garlic butter which was £30 and i could cook a better one at home. Staff didn't ask us how we were getting on during the meal or even ask if we wanted a dessert menu. Had to practically beg to get a round of drinks. For the price of the meal and where you would expect better standards it just fell flat. Service seemed under pressure to be fair and probably understaffed but we were not on there radar at all. Wont be back especially when fox and willow is 5 mins away. PROS - Cocktails which we did get went down well. Again though there was more money for them to be made if they asked if we would like more!

Such an amazing restaurant and the staff were brilliant. They couldn't do any more for us, even as a large group of 14 they were superb. The food was absolutely fantastic with no complaints from any one dish. The restaurant itself is beautiful and a lovely place to eat. Will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Food was OK, server looked doped out his head and wasn't first time we noticed this as had been here before, potatoes were look warm but had started getting skin on them , daughter had i think chicken and was sick at home, so not great.

Nipped along here from Craig Tara to get away from the hustle and bustle of the caravan park and a nice dinner. We unfortunately got seated in a room where it became apparent that was holding a function and the people there were quite rowdy and standing up round our table chatting whilst we were eating our meal. They all left and after speaking to the young man that had been serving us the staff were lovely. Megan in particular went out of her way to show us that what we had experienced was not the norm for this restaurant and she was very helpful and completely turned round what had started as a regretful choice of restaurant for dinner. We would definitely come back here again if we are back in Ayr.

Wasnt too busy when we went 3pm sunday i had roast beef dinner was a bit disappointed because the Yorkshire puddef wasnt home made more cheap frozen kind same with roast tatties.

The staff were really friendly on arrival, they gave us a larger table because we had a pram, really helpful with our little one too. The food was lovely, I had steak which was cooked to perfection, my partner had pizza which was also very nice. Throughly recommend here.

A posh, quaint restaurant tucked close to the beach in Ayr. The restaurant has a limited menu but they’re great at what they do. They’re very good with their service to make sure you’re tended too. The wait time on the food is not too long either. For starters I had the Korean spicy chicken which was great. For the mains I had fish and chips. The fish was done well, crisp and the meat succulent. With. Side of mashed peas. It was also served on a hot plate. The dessert section could use a lot more options. However I made a special request and asked for a piece of brownie with vanilla ice cream on the side drizzled with chocolate sauce. I shall add a picture but I’d like the reader to know that the picture does not do justice to how heavenly the ice cream and brownie tasted together. I’d like to thank the chefs, the support Staff and Sam for the evening. Keep up the great work. Will most certainly visit again everytime I’m in Ayr.

Great meal, with excellent service. The new (unopened when I went, end Sept 33) extension for weddings is something to behold too.

Coffee and bacon roll very nice but bar area for dogs very poor required to sit on high stool only with small dog, no water or treats provided obvious dogs are a nuisance by staff. Not be back with dog Fox & Willow in Ayr much more dog friendly and allowed in proper areas with proper seating not high chairs !!

Had 2 T bone steaks on steak night and also the cheese board . All fantastic and good value . The drinks actually ended up costing more than the food .😂. Waitress was v friendly and talkative . Compliments to the chef . The best restaurants are the ones who look after their customers and this place is right at the top for that !!

Visited The Balgarth today for a 40th birthday celebration, 9 adults, a child and a baby. Service was excellent, nothing was a problem and food was excellent. It’s a long time since we have been but it won’t be long until we are back. Thank you.

Food was amazing and the service just as good. Megan our waitress is a lovely friendly person and a credit to your establishment. We enjoyed our lunch so much we came back the next day. We would definitely recommend it. I had the mushroom vegan pizza and dirty chips on my first visit and the vegan veg pizza on my 2nd visit, both extremely tasty.

Great place for food and drinks

We reserved a table only 30 minutes before arriving. Family of 5 on holiday locally and even though there is a lot of work taking place on the building the small bar/restaurant has been decorated to a high standard and the food was beautiful and well priced! We had steak pie, burger, fish and chips and lasagne. Every meal was wonderful. Our waiter and waitress were very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend paying a visit if you are in the area.

Absolutely fantastic On a visit from Newcastle and only found this on our last day!! Family of 8 with a wheelchair user and nothing was an issue. The waitress was so lovely and was great with the kids Food was outstanding 10/10 from us

The Balgarth has been up and down over the years, but we tried again today and were disappointed again. 15 mins for initial drinks order, no milk alternatives for coffee. After sitting with empty drinks for 30 mins we asked for a menu, then got told we could only have 1 more hour at the table. Told that we should have booked. We assumed it would be ok to walk in on a weekday lunchtime and that be ok. We live so close and would love to be coming in here regularly, but there’s often an issue. Most of the time we have been in the service has been much better and a good few nice staff, it was usually a food quality issue. We mentioned this at the time but made to feel as though we had done wrong for not booking in.

We had a lovely meal here in June whilst visiting the area on holiday. We turned up and they could just about fit the 2 of us in. Ample free parking. Quite expensive but well worth it as a treat. Staff were lovely but it was so busy there was no one available for us to ask for the bill but we were able to go up to the till to pay without too much more of a wait. Very recommended for a special occasion. Would recommend pre-booking.

Visited last night family 4 adults, served by the lovely Bea. Considering there were a couple of functions on and it was quite busy we were looked after so well. We had goats cheese salad, seafood crepes, teriyaki beef strips, chicken burger. Highly recommend booking as due to summer holiday time just now very popular with families, locals and holidaymakers ❤️

Lovely food and very friendly staff. However very slow service as staff were young and inexperienced. Possibly summer seasonal staff. Outside area very good and child friendly.

Had dinner a few weeks back, had the very creamy Mac n cheese, was absolutely brilliant. Was a quiet night, and the staff were excellent.

Service slow,not listening to orders, mistakes made on service ,no one checked to see if all okay afterwards, preparation for deserts, they served us it, and we had to ask for spoons etc, and when you are paying good money, details are important, but food once correct was lovely,if improvement later, then it could be 4 to 5 stars, don't be in a rush, as I said for the number of covers or tables slow, maybe short staffed who knows,I will try once more

Passing through between appointments looking for a nice spot for lunch. Staff friendly and accommodating, nice venue with decent facilities. Food selections were OK with the exception of lasagne which was in essence a nuclear hot melted cheese soup with very little beef mince filling between the pasta sheets. Not quite enough to complain about/send it back. Everything else met the brief. Shame there were a number of items off the menu but that’s the luck of the draw. Although catered for walk-ins, could get busy so maybe worth booking.

The food was simply atrocious, appalling - worse than awful. It was the worst meal that we have had in many years. Every course looked cheap and out of a packet and into the microwave standard. Lasagna swimming in cheese oil with the garlic bread stuck on top and soggy. Burgers that were almost inedible, sticky toffee pudding that was cold and bore no relation to the real thing. Serving cuisine like this takes me back 50 years and does Scotland's reputation no favours. We will not be back. Table service (to be fair) was friendly and of a good standard. So extremely disappointing for a family of six adults and four children celebrating a golden wedding.

In my opinion the place has gone down hill! Been here many a time in the past & food and service always been good, not this time unfortunately? Service dysfunctional & food was not great, don’t think we’ll be returning until it improves!

Food was lovely good size portion

Honestly just a delightful wee place! Popped in on a whim after quickly googling places to eat outside near me and was not disappointed! Staff were so polite and friendly, food was great. Definitely will be back 👌 also, decent play area for the kids outside, could easily sit there all day.

Fantastic food, I am lost for words at the quality of the food it was just amazing. 2 years later and my opinion has not changed.

I can't fault the service, however the food was very disappointing. I don't know if perhaps this was because we were using an Itison deal but we won't be in a rush to go back unfortunately. We both had marinated chicken skewers to start which were verging on inedible. They had a weird, soft rubbery texture, not raw but definitely undercooked! We both had burgers as a main. The meat tasted lovely however again it was not cooked well. It had more of a consistency akin to a MacDonald's burger, quite soft and mushy. I think they focus too much on getting food out quickly rather than spending time cooking it properly.

Fabulous food,service, atmosphere, and staff were beyond first class, It's one of the nicest Xmas meals out,I have had,and will certainly be back. They were short staffed and explained the situation when we arrived.it was out of their control,and under the circumstances, they all worked as a team and showed no signs of stress. Booked as a table of 5, restaurant was dead, some staff seemed new/young/inexperienced?Starters were great but the main burgers were literally inedible. The teenagers are not fussy eaters but neither ate their burgers, not at all. Too polite perhaps to draw attention to it, and being on a tight time schedule, we chose not to call someone over & complain. The young staff member cleared the table and we thought she may question 2 full plates of food being cleared but she didn’t so.. again fair enough.When paying the bill, we weren’t asked how things were so my mother mentioned that the burgers were disappointing. The staff members reply was literally ‘well if you’d told me sooner, I might have done something.’Although she maybe has a point, I’d say this was rude and we were certainly not looking for money off or a replacement, just giving feedback. No one asked how our mains were or we would have mentioned it at the time. An apology would have sufficed, or simply I’m sorry to hear that or I’ll pass it on to the chef. Anything! We’ll not be back and unfortunately I feel the young inexperienced staff let the team down perhaps.

Food was lovely in a nice clean restaurant with a good atmosphere. A nice place to have a meal that dog friendly too.

We came for an early weekend dinner. It was busy with plenty of full tables both inside and out. Service was friendly and quick. The food tasted great, had good portion sizes, and was good value. Definitely will return.

Food is amazing as is the service couldn’t just visit the once but twice on our stay in Ayr and I’m sure we will be back again

More than happy to have the Balgarth Pines as our local. Food is consistently good but with a new additional chef and weekend specials menu they have upped their game. We enjoyed the scallops, ham terrine and lemon sole . Service is always on the money-efficient but very friendly.

Staff lovely and very attentive. Meals generous, would have liked a bit more of a kick in my Gaelic coffee.

We enjoyed our Thursday night dinner at the Balgarth Pines, helped by the sunshine and the fact we could sit outside with our dog. Although dogs are allowed inside as well! Service was ok, although probably missed an opportunity to wow us (e.g. by offering a choice of gins rather than just going straight for the house gin) on a night when it wasn't particularly busy. The food arrived very quickly after ordering, and proved to be a very tasty two burgers (one beef and one chicken) along with great onion rings. Would describe our experience as delivering exactly what we asked for, but no more than that.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was of a very high standard and the food was excellent.

Just had a great family meal. Staff friendly and helpful. I had the rib eye steak, one of the best I have had for a while. My son had the half pound burger!! It was massive and looked the part. He wolfed it down and gave it a 10/10 Would recommend and will use again if we are up this way.

After a week staying in holiday in Ayr we have toured round the different highly reviewed restaurants. Dinner was nice, service was good but it just didn't match up to some others we'd been to this week and it was more expensive too.

We had a fantastic experience at The Balgarth Pines, from the initial telephone booking and throughout, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. We had a great time with excellent food and service, we strongly recommend a visit here, thank you to all the staff and we look forward to returning.

Myself, my partner and our dog visited today for a late lunch. We were seated at a high table beside an open door. The table was not really appropriate for people with a dog as our dog just lay on the floor miserable the whole time. Our drinks orders were taken and arrived promptly. We ordered starters and mains which were absolutely delicious. On the downside, the staff were not rude but were not friendly or welcoming. Our cutlery was placed on a plate which was sat on the table, my partner and I both just looked at each other ( was thinking its a covid thing but no other restaurant we've been in lately has done this) I sat with my jacket on until halfway through the main meal which is when I started to warm up (sat at open door). While eating my main course I noticed over my partners shoulder that rather than take finished plates directly to the kitchen, they were removed from tables and dealt with less than 2ft behind him. Not pleasant to see. I'd the say the most jaw dropping moment was when a waiter walking past our table asked if we'd like another drink while picking up my partners empty glass, we said "no thanks" as he continued walking.We frequently take our dog when going for a meal and water is always given to him, this time I had to ask. The waitress brought it over but he didn't drink anything (still miserable that our hands were so far away from him, thankfully I had a bottle of water in the car which he drank when we left). We ate our food, asked for the bill and left. As I said, the food was amazing, so if you can deal with front of house who can't be bothered then this is the place for you.Dog friendly doesn't just mean dogs are allowed in, dog friendly means adequate seating arrangements and some common sense (dogs get thirsty)

After a 4 mile walk along the beach, we stopped hoping to have a meal and drinks. The Young manager very abruptly stated that he was not taking any more bookings for food. We asked if we could have a drink he seemed reluctant but agreed. We asked if he could let us know if a cancellation came about, when again he abruptly announced ’no! the kitchen stopped serving at 7pm’ - 3 minutes after we walked in. We then asked if there was any other restaurant/pubs nearby, when he looked us up and down and recommended a Wetherspoons locally. When he delivered our drinks we asked if they had any nuts / crisps we could buy he snapped ‘no we don’t’The young waitress who brought our drinks was very polite and friendly.Having visited this establishment before and recommending it to our friends, I was shocked and very disappointed at the managers rude and judgemental attitude. He has a lot to learn about customer service !

Popped into Balgarth with my daughter and grandson. Ordered Lasagne for lunch and it was very tasty. nice service from staff and nice surroundings. will def be back.

Did not have a reservation but need not have worried. Met by the wonderful Cameron who showed us to our table. He was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We were then served by another star Bradley who was so attentive. Food was great and there is a varied menu for all tastes. A big shout too for the kitchen brigade for their high food standards and presentation. To complete a great experience we met Rachel who again was superb. All those mentioned are great ambassadors for the company. Will be back for sure.

Great outdoor setting with play park for kids. Steak pie and pizza was pretty good but the haddock & prawn dish was very salty and had very little haddock, not helped by being smothered in tasteless, thick sauce.

Rather average pub food and very over priced. £15 for a sharing nachos (which looked like a single portion anyway) that probably cost £2.50 in ingredients. Main Meals also were nothing special and tasted like they were straight out of a packet or jar.Staff we're really friendly though, however I still wouldn't return for a meal.

Went twice during a recent stay in Ayr. Very strict COVID controls , very good quality food if a bit expensive for a pub and very expensive drink.

Apart from the friendly waiter who was great, the food we ordered was extremely poor! My wife has been ill since the last hour of being there, and my so called steak burger was like a frozen quarter pounder! Asked for blue cheese with my burger, and got the equivalent of a 10 pence piece worth. Esteemed chef Martin Ward take note!

Although the service and location were perfect, I wouldn't say the food was amazing. The pizza had come only half cooked and the noodles were nothing as described in the menu. The kids menu didn't have a large variety to it, only burgers, pizzas and chips. The dessert menu was slightly better but not much, The cheese-cake was not made of cream cheese at all it was just whipped cream. One thing I did enjoy though was the ambience, it was so nice especially in the sun. The restaurant also included a beer garden and a kids playground which was good. The drinks were also quite good. I recommend this place if you are just going for a drink but now for a full meal.

My partner and I went last night for dinner and were truly disappointed with the whole experience. When we arrived we were shown to our table and asked what drinks we would like. I ordered a bramble and my partner ordered a mojito which they couldn't do as they didn’t have mint for it so he ordered a frozen strawberry daiquiri. When our drinks arrived the daiquiri was not drinkable! Was given a paper straw with it but instead of slush it was just big ice cubes and couldn’t drink it through the straw! Sent it back and asked for a Guiness, which they had ran out of, so ended up with a wine. When we ordered our food my partner asked for a steak with mash instead of chips and we were told the kitchen couldn’t do that as they were too busy. Mash is on the menu so don’t see how this wasn’t possible? We received our meals and the steak was cooked perfectly but my macaroni was bland. We ordered desserts and my sticky toffee was swimming in toffee sauce to the point it was sickening. We were going to stay for a drink but just felt the service was terrible, food mediocre and the staff were walking about with no clue what they were doing. Also it looked like the young girl that served us had just started and was training but there was no staff helping her.

Visited with a friend the food was really lovely , no complaints and empty plates , we will definitely return . The only annoying issue was the waitress kept telling us how stressed out the kitchen were , how busy it was and that they were "cracking up in the kitchen" . Then "I'll serve you once I get rid of these people at the door " Yes do update customers on delays but this was too much information !!

My mum, two daughters and I had dinner here on Wednesday night, service was fantastic and food good. The lady who served us was clearly rushed off her feet however managed a number of tables at the same tome whilst helping and directing other members of the team. Some customers clearly aren’t as patient as we were but the team at Balgarth really did a great job on what was a busy evening service. Well done guys, you should be proud of yourselves.... Didn’t catch the lady’s name who was serving our table but you deserve a medal for keeping your cool and continuing to smile throughout...

Trip advisor does mention that this place has vegan options, but that is not the case.No vegan options were available on the menu. My only options were the selection of side dishes, or a veggie bean burger without the bun or burger sauce. No very good for an establishment of that quality and would have expected at least 1 vegan option on the menu.I would also say that the food was average. Chips were hard, and my burger was something you could get frozen from a supermarket. The food was not bad though, just maybe not worth the money.On the plus side, the server/manager was very accommodating to my requests and tried their best to arrange my options. The restaurant was lovely, clean, had a great outdoor area and a play park for the kids. Would definately recommened, just not to any vegans or people with dairy/egg intolerances

Both of us ordered the fish and chips. Fish well prepared but to be accompanied by cool (not in a good way) mushy peas and what could be best described as supermarket frozen chips pretty poor. When asked for sauces etc there was no tartar sauce to go with fish and chips even your basic wetherspoons can manage this. The menu does look advanced but if they are struggling with simple fish and chips at what I would say is well above average price then how are they going to cope with the more ambitious dishes. At best average.

Staff were really friend and food was amazing. They were great with kids and keeping everything sanatized.

Visited Balgarth Tuesday 430pm or thereabouts with my wife and 8 year old Grandson, been there before many times, nicest outside space of any establishment in Ayr that serves Alcohol, attentive, efficient staff, only complaint is that I got the impression that they do not want children, we were told on arrival that we would have to purchase food for our grandson, also the kids play area out of bounds due to Covid, have no issues with that, it is their place after all, apparently not allowed under current guidelines despite every other play park in Ayr open and full of Kids, did purchase food for Grandson which he thoroughly enjoyed.This used to be a place that welcomed children, not so sure that is the case now especially as they charge 1.50 for a small plastic cup of cola for a child which was gone in 3 or 4 sips, not good value, you could buy a litre bottle of cola in my local supermarket for 1.50 which would fill at least twenty cups of the size they sell here.This did use to be a family place, not sure this is the case now, dont mind paying top dollar for adult drinks in nice surroundings which the Balgarth certainly is, however to charge 1.50 for a small plastic cup of cola for a child would put me off coming back, dont mind profit taking but this is taking it too far, especially as the adults are also being charged top dollar for drinks.

Saturday evening just before most of Scotland moved into Tier 2. Reservations made in advance, table for two adults and two kids. Safe distancing adhered to we were quickly seated and soft drinks ordered and delivered efficiently allowing us time to browse the menu and select our starters and mains. Good sized portions of Tomato & Basil soup, Cullen Skink, Caesar Salad and kids Nachos with cheese for starters all were fully devoured. For mains we had, Smoked Cod & King Prawn Gratin, Half a Lobster Thermidor with salad, coleslaw and dirty fries, Margarita Pizza and a massive kids Cheeseburger with fries. All were really good size portions so much the pizza was not finished. Two sticky toffee puddings and a roulade all with vanilla ice cream were ordered and delivered about 10 mins after we had finished our mains. Kind and courteous service from Eve throughout. Bill came to a reasonable £95 for the four of us. Well worth visiting (tables available inside and out). We will certainly be back.

Back at the Balgarth Pines-actually in the garden instead of just picking up a takeaway-so good! Service is as always friendly and efficient and food delicious. Can highly recommend the fish&chips and the burger. So lucky to have this as our local !

Ordered the Cullen Skink & roast take away during this lockdown. Arrived @17:00 & meal came out on a trolley with a waiter to my car @17:10 complete with a bottle of wine - superb given that it was -1C outside! Home to a superb meal for two at a superb price. Would recommend.

Great Saturday night take away. Something for all the family. Good sized portions and very reasonably priced. Chicken kebab starters and salad were very generous and tasty. Braised beef main was very tender, although slightly too heavy handed on the garlic on the vegetables for our taste. Chicken crepes were delicious and my husband loved his beef noodles although my son probably wouldn’t choose the pizza again but there’s plenty of other options. My husband enjoyed the complimentary strawberry daiquiri cocktail. Will definitely order again.

Just got a starter and mains course for 5 people today 21/1/2020 . Could not fault it in anyway portion sizes were more than adequate , we had fish,vegetarian ,haggis burgers oh and also a gluten free dish all which were oh so tasty . Can’t speak highly enough of this take away meal ,best we have ever tasted and very very reasonably priced
