Ordered a gormeut burger and a cheese burger but was given 2 cold dry cheeseburgers grim and scammers

Incredibly disappointed with my order which arrived 2 hours late!! The food was cold, dry and the beef burgers tasted rubbery. The only thing that tasted somewhat decent was their garlic sauce...and that was mediocre at best. Would not recommend this place and I doubt I'd ever order from here again.

I was absolutely gutted when this place shut but now that it’s back up and open again it’s just as tasty as before! The burgers taste fresh and not artificial at all and the options are amazing! I hope to see some new, unique menu options in the future!

Had a burger and halloumi bites some dirty fries with a milkshake . The burger tasted horrible like a CHEAP frozen burger from iceland chips where rubbish and the halloumi bites were so stale and as of been nuked to death in the microwave. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Came here on a Saturday, Staff were rude the girl behind the counter was more interested in gossiping than actually taking our order. Order then came back wrong as expected. Chips were soggy, onion rings were burnt. After hearing all the hype, it was a big let down. Won't be going again.

To be honest, this feels like oven cook food you can buy from a supermarket dressed up. Quality isn't that great, really unpleasant experience, absolutely would not recommend.

Hi customers, I'm one of the Deliveroo riders, I got honest feedback. The guy responsible for delivery drivers very bad behaviour, I'll never ever back to buy from this restaurant again and also I'll let all my friends and family about the bad service, unprofessional behaviour, from the guy who works on Wednesdays evening I'm not sure if he's working every day. The best burger place in Cardiff! I have been there countless times (as attested by all my pictures there) and it is a place I would definitely return to should I visit Cardiff again. The burger options are very diverse and I am proud to say I have tasted almost everything on the menu and they have all been delicious! They also often have specials of the day or of the week, which I have also dipped into, although these ones have not always been on par. I wish however they gave us more sauce as the fries to sauce ratio is never enough! They also have milkshakes, although I have never been a fan of them as they are too rich for me and I already have the guilt of eating a huge burger and fries...

After an 'okay' experience about 2 years ago I thought I'd give it a try again through deliveroo. Everything arrived warm but the food was worse than I ever expected. The burger party was dry, overcooked and lacked absolutely any flavour. Its like it hadn't even been seasoned properly. And the picture you see is pulled lamb in my burger which i actually had to remove becayse it was so bad. It was NOT moist and didn't have any flavour at all, just dry bits of meat that actually made me feel a bit sick. I cannot believe I paid for this food and won't be going back again. Oh the only thing decent was the chips, although they're called fries , they're more chunky chips as seen in pic.

Ordered through Uber and realised the address was wrong straight away. Uber told me to contact the restaurant after 20 attempts to call them and 20 mins with no answer from initial order I finally got an answer and where quick to blame the driver who hadn’t been allocated yet, advise not to use Uber eats or expect any good customer service from This restaurant as WW2 POW’s had better customer care.

Ordered 3 burgers all with fries and drinks for collection. Once home we’d received everything except 1 burger which was odd considering that’s the main thing I ordered. Called straight up and a lady answered and gave me an ultimatum whether I can drive back and collect the burger or call back up in a future date to have a burger on them (considering I paid for a burger and never received it). Called up this evening to have the ‘manager’ on the phone saying nothing is recorded on their system and he can’t issue out anything apart from another 10% off my order with an already discount of 10%.. Shocking customer service and from the manager himself I wouldn’t have expected that. Poorly poorly run!! I will not be eating here again and advise others to go support a better more needed company if that’s how he treats people.

food quality is great, the burger was delicious and the side order of fries with jalapeno and salsa was also great. That being the said for the price the portions are pretty small and I feel as though there could have been more for the £16.39 spent. Milkshake was gorgeous - All in all wonderful food but a bit pricey for how much you get. Great menu though.

Been coming here for 3 years and its gone downhill. It used to be 6 quid for a burger shake and side but they bump their prices up every few months which is greedy and annoying. Quality of the burgers has gone down, the patty is often overcooked nowadays and the fries are soggy. It's a shame this place had good potential but it has sold its soul and the food kinda sucks now... Milkshakes are still nice though which is why it gets 2 stars.

The sides and milkshake were ok but the burgers were very dry I tried Juicy Lucy and gourmet burger and both of them were disappointing.

Ordered from Deliveroo. The food was tasty but fairly average, nothing out of the ordinary. Not bad, not too great.

Had a takeaway from here and it was amazing. Very tasty food with good portions and sustainable packaging and utensils. Would recommend going here for vegan food too, delicious and I look forward to visiting the actual place!

Burger was a let down. It was cold and the patty was definitely not fresh. Uber eats delivered it in less than 20 minutes so definitely not Uber's fault. Over priced as well. Paid £27 for three burgers! For people like us, visiting Cardiff and looking for halal food, don't waste your money.

Let me tell you this, I travelled 4 hours to wales from Sheffield and by the time we got there I was famished. So we desperately searched for food within our area and when we heard about BBK's krispy kreme burger we knew we had to try it out. The burgers were.....AMAZING. Everything was on point, the chips were amazing, the garlic sauce was amazing, the coleslaw was amazing The only reason It's not receiving another star is because it's a but too pricy.

Ordered here twice now for delivery and both times the food has been delivered within half an hour, piping hot and tastes delicious.

Becoming a firm favourite :) .... Great food at reasonable price. We are a family of 5 with some fussy eaters between us so had a few tweaks to our burgers! Everything was delivered as expected and tasted great! This is the second time we’ve ordered in recent weeks. A really enjoyable meal and will no doubt pay a visit to the venue post lockdown. Placed a delivery which I paid for and didnt turn up, they refused to send it or refund with solid proof of payment and that I placed the order..

Amazing burgers ! We’ve wanted to try this for a while and rang up in advance to order/collect as the delivery options didn’t reach our area but this was really easy to do and they have sitting in options too! We both ordered the bbq beef burger and 2 sides of skin on fries - soo good! Burgers were so impressive, better quality than some I’ve had in expensive restaurants etc and the fries were tasty too. Big portions for good prices (£15 for 2 burgers & fries) and we noticed when there that do lunch deals even cheaper than this! Very impressed and will deffo be ordering again, hoping to try the milkshakes sometime soon too!

Great place for Halal burger lovers ! Staff were friendly, food tasted really good and prices were reasonable too ! Perhaps only the inside sitting area could be improved to give it a more of a restaurant modern feel rather than a take away - but other than that a great place for all

I read the reviews to this place and thought I'd try it and I promise in ma opinion the best burger spot in cardiff .. food and staff are 20 out of 10 .. if u ever in Cardiff definately try the food here u will not be disappointed .. Came here with family (2 x adults and 3 kids) We came across a halal restaurant on google and decided to visit it as the reviews were very good and we were not disappointed. We went on a Friday evening expecting it to be busy but when we arrived approx. 7pm it was empty. The venue is probably popular as take away food as there were constantly deliveroo drivers waiting for food and taking it away. We were a bit sceptical about the restaurant but decided to see how it goes. They only accept cash but luckily I had a couple of Bob on me. The location isnt in your traditional restaurant place so that could be reason for being less busy. We all ordered the burgers and chips with drinks. The wait for the food was approximately 20 for the food to come out but we put that down to the take away food being prepared and given to the drivers. We weren't in any rush. I had the Mexican chicken which was fantastic! I really enjoyed the burger it had grilled chicken, salsa, with nachos, and some salad in a soft bun. The fries were really nice which had the skin on but still tasted really good. My wife had the beef and pulled lamb and the lamb was delicious, large chunks of lamb were in the burger and she took out quite a lot to share around and there was still plenty left in the burger. The kids ate beef burgers and were happy. We also ordered juice which was fresh as it was made with fresh ingredients and were cut in front of us. Overall really happy with the meal and the service would definitely recommend.

After surviving a long night of alcohol poisoning, in which I lost my dignity and my shoes, I awoke at 5pm and hastily checked that I hadn't made it to the WalesOnline front page for my earlier delinquency. Luckily no one had seen a shoe-less gremlin in the streets the night before. I then removed myself from my bed, vomit had fused my body to the sheets, like some kind of narcoleptic limpet. As I rose a hunger ran through me and shook my very bowels. It was time. I slimed my way out of the front door into the welcoming darkness of a December evening. After aimlessly walking down the tired streets, I saw it. A shining beacon of gluttony. I entered to be greeted by the glorious Mora, whose warm attitude made me feel like i had been forgiven for the previous nights hedonism. I then picked up a menu. The menu was not an enormous book of descriptions and explanations, just a clean cut simple menu. Too much choice is a bad thing, believe me. I decided to have; a naga chicken burger with extra cheese , some skin-on fries and a vanilla shake. Which awesomely comes as a meal, with sauce and slaw too! Mora got to the shake, while Stefano and Leonidas did the food. Lets start with the shake, too many of these places have a highly unbalanced milk to icecream ratio, but not here. You get a proper shake, the kind of shake that heals your f*cking soul. I could practically see the passion flying out of Leonidas and Stefano as they cooked up my fries and burger and it shows. The fries are banging, skin on, cajun spice too. Proper chips, not some McDonalds salted potato twiglets. Then the burger was epic, quality chicken, lovely veggies that aren't overdone, and the awesome naga sauce. This is a hot burger but certainly isn't too hot, unless you're a bit of a wuss. All tied together with your choice of sauce and some devilishly good slaw. In conclusion, this restaurant is pengaleng and cured not just my hangover, but the subsequent shame of losing my shoes and vomiting onto my bed the night before. Thank you for an epic meal! Steffano, Leonidas and Mora need a raise!

How do i start this off? If you are in Cardiff and haven't tried this place out then you're slacking big time. Great food for a great price and milkshakes are on point. If you want something spicy try the nuclear naga... but in general the burgers are perfect. Another good reason to come is the toilets because after the meal the need does arise to destroy a toilet...

Worst customer service. Was given a old beef patty in my burger which had clearly gone off! The beef patty had a horrid smell to it and was red on the inside! The lady at the counter was argumentative and tried to tell me their patty is okay! She tried to raise her voice at me even though I only complained about the food privately. Worst place! Avoid! This place should be shut down or have some sort Ī investigation done! Worst experience ever!

Came here with friends it was my first visit. The service was 1st class and the burgers where one the best I have tasted anywhere. A few extra points the prices are definitely reasonable, the decor very tasteful and service on point.

It had been a long day, exhaustion overwhelming the entire family as the traveling drained our energy. Our stomaches craved food, but we didn’t know where from. It was at that moment, when BBK was introduced into the conversation, sparking interest. After some consideration, we decided we would check it out. The restaurant was enticing, displaying a range of gourmet dishes and various options. -KG- On arrival the impression you get is one that puts you at ease. This is place is the definition of 'Burger Joint'. Easily the best place to get a burger in Cardiff. I ordered the Big BBK. It’s very appropriately named. I’m a messy burger kind of guy, usually the messier the burger the more you enjoy it. Not true in the Big BBK’s case though, this burger 🍔 was the best non messy burger I’ve ever had. Ever! It’s well balanced, doesn’t overwhelm you with different flavors, and sits well after you have finished it, meaning you don’t have that heavy feeling after you finish it...all. -JK- The staff is very welcoming when you first arrive at the restaurant. They try to make sure you get the seats you want. Although the service for the food is a little slow, it’s worth the wait as the food tastes delicious. I would definitely recommend getting the nuclear naga for anyone who can handle spicy food. Other than the burgers, the chips and halloumi (fried paneer) bites are wonderful. Inside the restaurant it’s nicely decorated which creates a great and calming atmosphere. Overall I was satisfied with my visit to the restaurant. -FE-

Called in here for food before a gig at the nearby Cardiff Students' Union. Plenty of choice for vegetarians which is great in a burger establishment! My partner and I opted for a halloumi and falafel burger and the spicy bean burger with skin on fries. Food didn't take too long to arrive and was really hot! The halloumi and falafel burger is probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. The guy behind the counter could not have been more helpful. Lovely, genuine service which seems to be a rarity these days. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Nice tidy, clean burger place in the heart of Cardiff. Really friendly nice staff. Although it's a small restaurant, it's got a great range of food and good clean facilities. Including the toilet. Highly recommend it...shame I love over 200 miles away from it!

Horrific service. It's been nearly 50 minutes and we still have not had food and the man at the counter has the customer service skills of a cardboard box. Don't bother with this place unless you have a spare hour to just sit and wait to actually get food. I say this...might be over an hour. This place really went downhill.

Krispie Kreme burger was delicious and chips were freshly cut and fried. Burgers made to order in quick time. Only downside is card machine wasn't working. But would return again as food was delicious and flavourful!

Chips were very nice but the burger was nothing special. Lacking flavour and one of the burger was raw on the inside. Plus we were charged more than the prices stated on their website. Not worth it for what you pay. Won't be going back!!

No offer to replace the burgers or an apology. The girl on the phone went to speak to the chef about what to do and I could easily hear him saying there's nothing to be done and that he'd cooked them properly which I personally think is disgusting service and a terrible attitude. Admit where you are wrong and pride yourselves on customer service. I even asked (after being that they would not refund the burgers) what if we proceed to have food poisoning to which I was told the burgers were properly cooked...what kind of a response is that?!? Absolutely disgusted. Do NOT recommend buying ANYTHING from here due to the awful customer service and terribly cooked food. After quickly looking on the FSA site to see how likely I am to now contract food poisoning I see that they have a food hygiene rating of 1 and that the FSA said that they, and I quite, are in need of "major improvement" with regards to management of food safety and improvement is "necessary" in their hygienic food handling. More fool me for failing to see this prior to ordering. DO NOT RECOMMEND IN THE SLIGHTEST
