The Back Shed in Antrim

I was in a party of approx 17 we pre ordered our food, which was a good idea.. we had plenty of room, the only criticism was the fact that they seated 9 of us on two benches so we had to climb in and out of our seats.. the food and service was great but there wasn't a good selection of desserts.

I liked the pub, the atmosphere is friendly, popular with the locals. The required beers are available. The price tag is the same as everywhere else. £5 on average per pint.

Jeepers, you'd be as well going to the local chippy when your piss drunk than here for a feed. If you want the liquid gold runs. Come here! Top class for a imodian prescription from your local GP. Gordon Ramsey would be swearing right now! Couldn't feed the swans the bread at this place either steal as a rusty bicycle! The steak was like chewing an owl bonfire tyre.... god help yous

Didn't have any food this time but had a lovely couple of pints have been told the food is good and will be back to try.

Very disappointed. Ordered 2 starters, We told the server we'd probably order more, but in the 40 mins it took to get the starters, many alot of people came in, ordered, and finished. Seemed like the chef was prioritizing the more expensive orders. Mind you the place was less than half full, but the server said they were slammed, and thats why it was taking so long. However it looked more badly organized. Was told to get the nachos with melted cheese instead of the cheese sauce, but they were brought out with cheese sauce, asked if the ribs were hefty enough, and the server said they definitely were, but they were absolutely tiny.

An amazing place! We stayed in Northern Ireland for three days and the food was so amazing that we didn’t eat anywhere else!! As I said to the staff, their food alone is a reason to visit Northern Ireland. The service was excellent and staff was friendly and polite!Thanks again!

Had an excellent Butchers Block pizza here. Sat outside as I had a dog in tow. The food was stunning and the staff were all very pleasant and welcoming! I will be back!

Food in this place is amazing, however we went for a night out, and it was so dead the organisation singer walked out...

Found this place today by chance. What a find! The staff were second to none considering it was Mother’s Day and we had no booking, (four of us and a toddler). The menu was great, the food was superb with great portions and so well presented, real value for money, I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough. One thing for sure, we’ll be back!

Valentines dinner, was expecting usual pre made special occasion food. Totally surprised! Food was amazing , we started with garlic & chilli king prawn , mixture of spice & taste was perfect. Next I had chorritto chicken supreme, excellent, wife had sea bream , she was very happy with taste & size of the dish. Finally, I had raspberry ruffle cheese cake , good but I was a bit too full to appreciate it. She had boozy ice cream ( baileys on ice cream) We both had a fantastic evening with great food ,great service & totally value for money. £55 Per couple including glass of bubbly on arrival. Even the bottle of wine was nice. Highly recommended, superb .

First time in the place. Very nice food, not expensive. We were there at 5pm with the kids so it was quiet, staff were kid friendly. Definitely recommend the place

A family favourite, from fantastic food whilst sitting in, to excellent takeaway deals, it’s hard to fault. Live entertainment at weekends and also karaoke the odd Sunday night, what’s not to like

Beautiful food & reasonable prices! Sunday deal great value with 2 or 3 courses and kids eat free. All dishes are really nice but the roasts & sticky chilli chicken are family favs. The starter garlic prawns really good too.

Just been for Sunday lunch and had 2 courses main and dessert and the food was beautiful and dessert 🍨 was fantastic

My family and I had lunch recently in Ruby's, Antrim. The decor was very nice and the waitress and barman were fantastic and super efficient. The food was excellent and well presented and I can find ni fault. This place is a hidden gem and its a shame really that more people don't use it. I'll be back.

Fantastic wood fired pizza and great cocktails

Used to be a great place for pizza. They were fresh and unique. Now they are just the same as a horrible greasy take away, covered in cheese and greasy real shame.

We just had the smoked bbq pizza delivered. The pizza was absolutely delicious and fresh. A real artisan pizza. Still the best in Antrim!!

Writing as a regular customer, regarding the staff approach to public. I recently visited the Antrim Ruby’s bar with a friend and was made feel very unwelcome. Staff members pursued us over wearing a mask yet she wasn’t wearing a mask even though my friend was exempted from wearing one and had mentioned this. The manager spoke to us in a very unwelcoming and inflexible way. His derogatory comments to my friend resulted in us leaving to go to another bar, which was much more relaxed and friendly. The overall general atmosphere within Ruby’s Antrim rates among the worst in the town I am sorry to say. Ruby’s was a bar I always enjoyed going to and unfortunately I feel I will have to choose elsewhere to go in the future

Had a takeout from here one cold, blowy evening. Hand delivered from the restaurant to my car while I waited outside. Great food at a good price point. Would recommend.

Nice staff. Oven wasnt on so I wasnt able to try the pizza but got the pie of the day. Waitress was very apologetic so it was no biggie to me!

We went for a family meal. My husband and I had the steak cooked perfectly medium rare, the pizzas went down a treat as well as the chicken goujons, they were big portions, the kids had the chocolate cake for desert and the adults had the sticky toffee pudding I would definitely recommend the food. My auntie and I had a cocktail and we both loved them. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic we all left full and happy.

Lovely lunch good service and staff helpful

First time we’ve ate in here since the restaurant changed from just serving a pizza and pasta. The service was ok but a little slow and the pizza was not even in the same league as the previous restaurant. Having said that my wife’s burger and chips was excellent and the price of the whole meal was very reasonable. The young lady serving us was excellent.

My first time at this restaurant and very impressed. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Foid served piping hot and lovely presentation. Good value for miney and tonight was spwcial steak night. Generous helpings and soup was delicious. Will definately be going back again.
