Amazingly beautiful place. Unfortunately I didn't like the roasts and wine- big portions but not very tasty.

It's very over priced for what you get. The service could be better.

Slow, but cheerful service. Burnt Yorkshire puddings and small vegetable portions. Decor and ambience excellent.

Went for afternoon tea and was pointed to a table (wasn’t even seated I had to ask which table they’d like us to sit at) I wasn’t asked if I had any allergies if I’d like a drinks menu nothing. 15 mins later a afternoon tea was dumped on our table. No explanation I had to ask what they sandwich’s are as the man was walking away. (He didn’t know) 25 mins after finished still waiting to pay with a voucher. voucher taken and be told it would be checked. No one came back, no receipt & certainly no thank you. It was the worst experience. We left feeling so upset. It was meant to be a lovely Mother’s Day treat.

Eating in the restaurant. The seating area was clean and tidy. The staff were attentive and polite. The food was very nice and the portion size was excellent. Thank you for a pleasant experience

The range of gluten free food is amazing. Such a relief to be able to take my Mum who is coeliac and not have to worry. Thank you.

This is a really lovely hotel and restaurant The rooms were beautiful. Decor, furnishings highest class, bed very comfy, great bathroom. Really can't fault it. The bar was excellent. Great real ale offer, lots of seating The service in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was exceptional, served hot on a hot plate and nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was good, my only issue was our two friends are vegetarian, and the choices on the menu were very limited and then what they were served was incredibly poor and was sent back. All in all a superb hotel. Will definitely return.

The cozy room I was offered was tastefully decorated and offered a sense of comfort and tranquility. The breakfast and dinner were excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. Overall, my stay at this hotel was great.

On Mothering Sunday as a family of 7 we had a gorgeous Sunday Lunch experience. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were relaxed, we were not rushed in anyway. One of the tastiest Roast Dinners we have eaten, portions extremely generous ~ couldn’t manage a dessert as well as a starter! Well done to all the staff❤️❤️

Absolutely amazing place! Super gorgeous interior, amazing staff and the most gorgeous food! We had the upstairs function room for our mother's 70th birthday today and it couldn't have gone any better. The 2 staff members who looked after us all day were super helpful, couldn't do enough for us and we're super organised. She did so much for us in making the room look stunning with centre pieces and keeping the bar in the room topped up. All food was brought out piping hot and everyone got food at the same time. The food was one of the best I've had anywhere. Every person there today said how amazing the food was and such generous portions. They even set up the projector for us so we could display a video. They were so accommodating. The place itself is decorated so beautifully. Couldn't recommend enough! Xx

We recently had an event for 25 people in the upstairs dining room. The room was thoughtfully designed, with the addition of the beautiful view across the millpond and outside balcony area the whole experience completely exceeded our expectations. Sian was a wonderful hostess, welcoming, well organised and a great communicator. She was discreet and read the room meeting all our needs. The quality of the food was excellent, a fabulous selection of hot dishes that catered for everyone’s needs, we all had a hearty and tasty lunch. The bar was open providing an excellent choice of drinks. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the venue, food and wonderful staff.

An excellent evening at Arrow Mill for the Game & Wine dining event. Superb setting, 6 courses of inventive & beautifuly presented food all paired with some excellent wines. Service, some of the best my wife & I have had whilst out. Lovely setting, the general decor of the restaurant & bar areas are excellent & will certainly be returning soon.

The perfect place to sit in a lovely building with gorgeous food. Such a beautiful spot. Plenty of parking, dog friendly great atmosphere.... Well done to all

Went for Christmas dinner with friends. Service was great, but was disappointed with dinner and quantity. Roast potatoes were a bit overcooked and veggies that came with it were not sure what they were so left them. Good location and plenty of parking space. I would still recommend this place.

I have visited this venue a couple of times for food & drink and I have to say the food is amazing, the dishes are very well presented and are absolutely delicious, refined and perfectly executed, you can tell the kitchen has chefs that love their job. You have a wide selection of food options to cater for anyone's pallet and the menus offer plenty for anyone that are Gluten Free, if you have any other allergies these are promptly relayed back to the kitchen. The restaurant staff are friendly, polite and attentive but the only slip up on my last visit was I had to ask to get cutlery for our dessert after it had arrived, but I wont knock a star off for this as the overall experience was fantastic.

Great staff and nice food. The place is beautiful, but the food is a little expensive for what you get. It wouldn't be somewhere I would personally go too often, as its not on my doorstep.

We had an excellent lunch here today. Although we weren't there for a Christmas meal per se, the two course fixed price Christmas menu was fairly priced and well cooked. Service was relaxed but very friendly. The building itself is full of character, which the heavily modernised interior has managed to maintain. There were lots of Christmas decorations, perhaps too many, but they were tasteful and helped create a nice atmosphere on a dull, drizzly day.

Lovely place and setting. Food quality excellent

Having read very mixed reviews we nervously booked to eat here for the first time as a table of four. Previous reviews had mentioned a lukewarm welcome and cold food so I took note of the warm welcome we received, a good start! Service wasn't hurried (another criticism from a recent review), we ordered drinks followed by a nice relaxing gap before our food orders were taken by a helpful, patient and friendly staff member. When the food arrived again I took note if it was warm, which it thankfully was, as was the plate, all good! Lunch was delicious, service was ideal, the setting is beautiful and the Christmas decorations are second to none. Maybe we were lucky, but everyone around us also seemed to be enjoying this lovely, stylish venue.

Unclear which entrance to use to book into the hotel and staff were not overly welcoming. Christmas decorations were very nice with a beautiful tree in the bar area. Dinner was OK but our room was fabulous. Everything you need, tastefully decorated and very cosy.

Met with friend during a quiet lunch. Felt relatively hounded to order after being asked 4 times in the first few minutes if we were ready. This despite ordering our drinks and having to chase them up. Food was OK. Arancini was over and dry cannon balls. The steak sandwich is possibly the most over priced menu item I've bought this year. Desserts, we're OK. The sorbet was really sugary. 75 for 2, 2 drinks each. Was poor vfm imho. Beautiful setting however.

We went to have a look at the decorations. We had a lovely warm welcome from staff. The hot chocolate we ordered was delicious as well as the camerbert. All staff were lovely and so polite. Thought it was lovely how the restaurant had games and colouring for the children.

the Sunday roast on November 5th was nothing short of fantastic, today unfortunately I have to say that we were not at all satisfied..

Lovely location & interior's but we had two issue's. One, the service was slow in the restaurant & two the food whilst good was too expensive for what we had. Four of us had mains plus deserts, a bottle of wine & coffee's, £176!

Food and service excellent. Booked for 7pm but several items on the menu were already unavailable, giving us a rather limited choice given that my husband has nut and shellfish allergies. Nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable evening.

Stunning building Excellent service Lovely food

Firstly I’d like to start by saying:- What has happened to this lovely restaurant? As a regular user, both my partner and I decided to book a meal in your restaurant on the 16th of November 2023 at 6pm (18:00hrs) When we arrived we were greeted and shown to our table whereupon a lovely waitress came and introduced herself and also asked us if we’d like some drinks! We ordered our drinks and later ordered food. When the meals arrived they looked very appetising……. However…..Things went drastically downhill then, as we started to eat our food it was stone cold, I mentioned this to the waitress who very politely said she would get new meals made. The meals arrived within minutes however…… in our opinion they were the same meals just microwaved. We were told that they were fresh meals from this other waitress yet the fish was exactly the same shape (it was sort of curled and twisted as it was fried) this would be absolutely impossible to replicate twice. My meal (Burger) you could tell it had been microwaved the bap was hard and chips were Inedible as that were so hard. We are also regularly eat at The Roe Deer at Wordsley and The Physician at Edgebaston many times, and I’d like to add never had a problem. Again…. What has happened to this beautiful restaurant? It was a special occasion last night and we were both very disappointed and totally ruined the evening. I do hope you read these comments and look into what goes wrong and address it as necessary. Reading previous reviews it would appear a little hit and miss when you choose to eat here, today we stopped off for a spot of lunch, service was appealing, food was passable but not asked about allergies, cold chips, a £12 prawn cocktail with 5 tiny prawns and no sauce. Servers could tell we were not best pleased so decided to try and avoid us all together, I had to go and collect our drinks from the bar after waiting 20 minutes, just ridiculous!! Brunning & Price need to sort the management out in this place and start to train the staff a little better, we will not be going back…..EVER!

Very nice food. Bit slow on table service

We went to this lovely restaurant today for my partners 🎂 birthday and both had the delicious roast lunch sat at our favourite table. The food and service were brilliant as usual and we were looked after very well. Looking forward to our next meal there on Christmas Eve. Thankyou Arrow Mill.

Second visit - just as good as last time.

Great layout of room. Quality decor and fitments, clean, comfortable and cosy, yet spacious. Good range of appliances stocked with starter beverages and biscuits, the Viennese Whirls are very light and deliciously buttery.

A lovely place to visit i highly recommended giving it a try. What's the worst that could happen .

If I could put 0 stars out of 5 I would, the place is not a place you want to spend time, eat or stay over. All of the staff are rude and very snappy the manager especially is obnoxious!! The food was over priced for what it was too. I arrived to be Rudely spoken to about how I was a couple of minutes late to my booking and then for the rest of my time at the Arrow Mill I was spoken to rudely and rushed to leave, I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable I will not be returning to Arrow Mill, I would also not recommend here.

Front of house staff and location brilliant. 2 meals wrong order and 1 meal was not just room cold but cold store cold! They were given free but we went there for chats, drinks and food for a birthday celebration. Not happy.

Didn't stay, so no comments on rooms here . We had a light meal, which was very tasty pumpkin with a slightly too Al dente pasta for our liking. A good beer & nice wine to accompany it . It's a Great looking place & a fabulous location, which is just across from Ragley Hall with Alcester & Stratford upon Avon just a few miles away .

World class british pub and restaurant with quality food and service

An enjoyable early evening meal on a sunday.., from a menu which which wasn't merely based on a sunday roast dinner. A nice atmosphere too.., with attentive staff.

Just had lunch there today. Can't fault this place at all. Service and food 1st class. Looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely large gastropub with lots of separate dining areas, small and large, with a long bar counter in the centre. Excellent food and drinks, great service, great menu.

Had a fabulous meal with fabulous service. Wish we lived locally and not in Yorkshire. As someone with Coeliac Disease I was confident in the kitchen as the staff are really well trained. 👌

Superb location, food, service, presentation. Visited for dinner and a wedding was taking place - still large enough that it didnt dominate the venue. Dinner was lovely on a veranda by the pond and quiet.

Lovely business lunch. Great food, attentive staff and it was really comfortable dining experience. I would recommend the shoulder of lamb as it was both tasty and a generous portion served with dauphonaise potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

Didn't reside here, came for a meal. I couldn't find anything negative to say about it. Ample well carparking. Meeting and greeting quick, pleasant and friendly. Choose a table outside, but under cover, in the marquee. Everything clean and tidy. Food was excellent, so was the service. Didn't break the bank. Would definitely recommend.

Visited Sunday with friends. Disappointed. Mixed pork and beef lunch. Pork was dry and didn't appear to be off a joint, was more like ready sliced, but the beef was just poor. Three of us had beef that was inedible. Chewy. Reported to waiting staff. No reaction at all. I will choose a different venue with friends next time.

First visit and was pleasantly surprised. Greeted by friendly host. Took drinks to the picnic benches, then ordered lunch inside, lovely and clean surroundings. Our server male young man, very attentive. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Toilets spotless, will definitely return here for my birthday celebrations next month.

An undeniably beautiful setting. It’s just a shame about the staff. Very miserable. We booked a private room for a 60th birthday party. We were constantly reminded that there was CCTV and were being watched, food wasn’t great. As soon as it struck 11 o’clock the manager came to the room, turned the lights on full, heating off, doors locked! He even switched the music on my phone off (which could only be played very quietly throughout the night) we were then very quickly ushered out! Extremely disappointed as was very expensive and we felt very unwelcome! I do not recommend for a private function.

Usually great experience, but Sunday left a lot to be desired from burnt food to a creature/bug floating around in the bottle of table water. Could have forgiven the bug they are in open countryside, but not the absence of an apology.

Continuing the B&P trend, I decided to pop to the Arrow Mill for lunch. As you drive down the long path towards the pub tucked away opposite the Ragley Hall estate with that riverside view across the whole pub. It doubles up as a hotel for that peaceful getaway. Plenty of parking and tables were avaliable on what was a mild Bank Holiday Monday. Entering the venue, it just looks gorgeous inside and out with the mix of modern and vintage decor on another level. The lighting choices, plentiful wall art and bookcases gives it that good balance and a good old wood fireplace for that relaxing experience. A host saw me immediately at the host station and showed me to my table. As it was bank holiday Monday, they served Sunday Roasts too on this occasion which I had to opt for. Today I had the following: Starter - Satay Pork Bao Bun Bao Buns are one of my favourite nibbles to have. This was very well presented on the plate and the pork filled the Bao Bun up to the brim. It had such a succulent flavour to it and the Bao Bun was fluffy and warm. A lovely way to start the meal off. It came within 15 minutes of me ordering it. Main - Roast Loin of Pork Sunday Roast All the trimmings. Potatoes. Gravy. Can't go wrong really with this traditional favourite. The pork was so tender it was easy to break off and had a strong flavour to it. The potatoes were well cooked and a good colour. Seasonal Veg and the rest of it was great. The gravy was nice and thick. A lovely roast overall Dessert - Cheshire Farm Ice Cream I opted for vanilla, honeycomb and raspberry ripple. This brand of ice cream is known for its richness and UK made branding using local ingredients. As such, it has a nice smooth creamy texture to it. It was lovely. Overall I would definitely visit again. Staff were warm and friendly throughout. Clean and tidy inside and out.

I’ve been here a few times it’s a beautiful setting and usually really lovely. However I had booked an afternoon tea for 3 but I have a chronic illness and I’m on chemotherapy which makes me ill so asked if we could just have 2 teas but they have refused. I’m disappointed under the circumstances. Won’t be going again!

Great place for a delicious grown up lunch, well known and frequented by locals. Booking ahead recommended. Really good food as always, and although busy the service was attentive but not intrusive. Unfortunately the lunch menu has been removed since my last visit meaning an inevitable price rise on the lunch but the food is better than ever. Crispy Buttermilk Chicken burger pictured was so tender and the accompanying chips were crisp and fluffy and actually tasted of potato. 2 meals and 2 soft drinks ~ £36

It's a pleasant place. Food is average and a bit over priced.

Lots of parking. We did the arrow walk through to Alcester, and came back to the Arrow Mill for drinks afterwards. It's a really lovely looking pub and restaurant. All of the staff were attentive upon arrival and were eager to assist. I will absolutely be back for a lovely evening meal. Definitely my kind of venue to spend a couple of hours. Oh and dog friendly too ☺️ 2nd visit today, came for lunch and brought the dog along too. Food was lovely and staff were again very nice.
