The Arches Restaurant in Aberdeenshire

We visited on Sunday evening for a special occasion having not visited for a very long time. We were pleased to find the Hotel fairly busy with downstairs dining room / lounge full with what was probably a large group. We were slightly early so we went in the bar for a drink, it was friendly and we were served efficiently. The Dining Room itself is upstairs which might put the less able off but I believe the same menu would be available in the downstairs lounge if you asked for it. The ambiance of the Arches Restaurant is pleasant, it’s all a little old fashioned but it’s in character with the building, the Restaurant was about half full. The service was good, friendly, efficient, the food was lovely and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning soon, recommend.

Went for lunch, a bit anxious re restrictions etc. Nice selection of lunches and what we had was of really high quality. The service was excellent and we felt really well cared for. I would definitely come back.

Came here for dinner however the food was awful, poor dated decor and no social distancing measures in place whatsoever. Strongly recommend giving this place a miss!

nothing has been done to make the restaurant disabled access such as a stair lift this an hotel. what do the residents manage

Visited here recently and what a superb find. Excellent menu with plenty choice. Good quality ingredients also good helping. All freshly cooked to order. This is what good country cooking is about. Service was also excellent. Looking forward to to a return visit in the near future.

Four of us dined here mid week, and whilst the food was good, well prepared, well cooked and piping hot the service was not up to scratch. No problems with the server, but she had far too much to do so that the wine came when we had almost finished the main course. Such a pity as our previous visits have been most successful.

Mi marido y yo visitamos el restaurante arcos por primera vez después de leer las buenas críticas. Disfrutamos de nuestra comida. Pollo, queso parmesano y. Tuve un plato de pasta piri piri bistec en la recomendación de la camarera que dijo que me pareció delicioso. . Ella no estaba mal.. . . . delicioso. Seguimos con un helado de fudgey con un café expreso derramado sobre ella, cielo! Pinta limonada y un gran vino blanco, con cambio de £40, excelente relación calidad-precio, y el personal era muy servicial y amable. Creo que será un fin de inspiración regulares.

Often visit here for supper, always found it to be great food, service and value for money. Also think the steak night is brilliant!

We regularly go to the Station Hotel for family occasions. Food and service are excellent, and staff really friendly and attentive to all our needs/wants/likes.

We had our mums 7th surprise birthday party at the station hotel on Saturday night. Table of 14 who all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The restaurant was very busy but we didn't have too long to wait for our food given there was such a varied order placed. Excellent service from our waitresses sasha and megan they were so busy however we were all looked after very professionally. Its been a while since we ate in the station but we will certainly be returning thanl you very much for an excellent evening.

Dined here on Saturday night. We had a delicious meal and faultless, friendly service.....we will definitely be back!!

Excellent meal every time. We regularly eat here on aa Sunday night. The hotel is local, and is excellent value for money.

You always get a great meal in the Arches 👍🏼 Staff are always lovely and welcoming, food always great!

Having sampled what ellon has to offer on the food front I highly regarded the arches restaurant within the station hotel, the food is cooked nicely and presented well too. The value for money combined with real quality,I really feel if I was going for a meal in ellon this is where I would go!

Went for high tea as a last minutes thing and it was a good choice ,and speaking to others when leaving they had enjoyed also
