Dirty, unorganised, cold food un-edible grizzly Beef watery gravey over cooked veg problely the worst dinner iv ever had there was a party of 10 of us and not one dinner was satisfactory. I don't like to leave bad reviews I usually can find something good even if it was service but the service was terrible plates were not cleared away starter's was brought with the main course who does that ! we had to ask to have the table cleared , ordered tea and coffees and no milk was brought out by the time we managed to find someone to bring milk the tea was cold. Such a shame it was a very important family day together that will be remembers for all the wrong reasons .

We celebrated my husband’s 60th there on 11 March. Overhead projector, microphone and wires provided. The food and wine ordered was very good. My only suggestion would be to improve the labelling of the vegan , vegetarian and generally what was on offer, but all tasted delicious! A guest required the paramedics and Daimien one of the bar tenders there was so helpful and attentive. Not only in this situation but whatever help and assistance we needed he did not hesitate. Great food, great service, very generous portions for a Sunday Roast. Staff very friendly and accommodating. What more could you ask for? Ordered starters which we excellent but actually unnecessary. Hummus with sourdough toast was lovely and would have worked as a sharing plate. Vegan roast dinner was really good. Would visit again.

Amazing place, great atmosphere and ethos! The star for us for the small plate, the vegan split pea hummus with a caper relish. Honestly fantastic, way more interesting and delicious than ever expected. Definitely coming back soon!

Was here on Saturday with my parents and partner. As always the food and service was exceptional. I've never has a bad experience here although it can get very busy and booking is always advised!

Had a birthday party in the function room called The Library, as well as the seating area outside of it by the bar. The staff has set the room up really nicely, with all the booze laid out upon arrival, and the room brilliantly cleared for the 70-odd guests. The food served was also all delicious and was lapped up quickly. The manager Marlene couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. Both she and the events co-ordinator for the company, Zac, were brilliant in helping organise everything and making the night so special. And the rest of the staff were all great too. Couldn't have asked for more. I owe a huge thanks to the Alice House for making it such a great occasion! I can't recommend the place highly enough if you are looking to have a private party. Exceeded all expectations. Thank you!

Lovely staff. Super friendly. I liked the yellow peas hummus. Not a big fan of the celeriac and squash fritters. They were very oily and the chilli sauce needed a lot more chilli. My burger was nice, specially the chips. Super crispy. The house pickle could do with a but more vinegar or pickling time.

I held my graduation party here a few days ago and it was incredible. The staff, venue, and food all combined gave me the party of my dreams. The team were very friendly and welcoming towards me and my guests and definitely gave us a night to remember.

I have been an Alice House punter for years. Often guiding out of town friends to go there, etc. And so of course it was a sheer dissapointment when I was treated amiss a couple times by two of the staff there, However, true to the establishments deserved reputation, a couple of the managers have been extremely accommodating in discussing the issues I had and doing something about it. I am pleased to report, this is the place I still love, and that often is my second office. Highly recommended.

My colleagues and I work locally to the Alice in Queen's Park and have been regular visitors there for some time. We have a good rapport with the staff and are always made to feel very welcome and looked after. We recently had our staff Christmas dinner there and as usual, we weren't disappointed. Marlene and Karolina did a great job keeping in contact from when we booked, up to the event itself, making sure everything was how we wanted it to be on the night. We had booked the Library at the back and it had been set up and laid out beautifully. The service was great, the food was fantastic and everybody had such a wonderful time. Came for Sunday lunch. The food was actually very good, not sure if its worth the long wait though. The beer selection was great, would probably just come back for drinks.

I normally qualify my reviews of local restaurants with “But I would say that, wouldn’t I” – on the assumption that we all believe our local eatery is beyond compare.But occasionally, very occasionally, I throw caution to the wind and just heap on the praise. So here goes …The Alice House, Queen’s Park is a great local bar with excellent food and definitely worth a visit. I’ve been there several times for a pint and bar snacks, but last Sunday we went for the trad roast dinner and it was fab. Slow cooked lamb with all the trimmings – not stodgy or overwhelming – followed by a crumble and custard. Both excellent.It’s a tad pricy - for Kilburn, but not Queen’s Park - and the staff balance efficiency and friendliness with aplomb. I hear the brunch is pretty good too – and the coffee, especially if made by James, is probably the best in the area (since the Queens Park Café changed hands and he moved across the Salusbury Road).One gripe; only flick tap beers. It would be great to have a ‘proper’ hand drawn ale.

We came here for 29th birthday drinks. We live round the corner and have been multiple times before and for multiple birthday celebrations but today we were incredibly disappointed. The service was incredibly slow, we arrived at 5:30 and left at 7:15 and if they had been faster we’d have drunk more and left a tip. They then informed us that between the 7 of us could only split the bill between 3 people. Unfortunately we will not be frequenting here again.

This place used to be great, friendly, proactive and engaging staff, always willing to go the extra mile. Sadly that isn't the case any more, staff swearing at each other, shouting at each other and being louder than customers for periods of time isn't great for the experience. I also don't want to hear management discussing someones resignation on the floor. The major niggle I had was staff sitting at the bar chatting meant they failed to be attentive to tables - the only service I got was visiting the bar. Not once was I asked for a refill, its the small things. Come on guys. You got this. Be great again.

Just grabbed a quick bite here this afternoon. Placed the first order of the evening service as kitchen opened at 5pm. Ordered the Alice cheeseburger which was a mistake! A most deflated lukewarm burger arrived - with over-burnt burger buns. Most disappointing of all were the clearly reheated soggy chips that accompanied said burger. Returned the chips which the waitress and kitchen acknowledged they were indeed "a tad dry". Very disappointing - I expect far more in terms of basic food quality from such an establishment in Queens Park. Need to up their game at this very basic level.

We are frequent visitors to the Alice house and love the weekend brunch. Delicious food, great atmosphere and super easy with our 9month old baby. A special shout out to Hadley who consistently goes that extra step to make us comfortable, using his own jumper for our baby to get her comfy in her high chair, we really appreciate it - thank you.

Great brunch with friends (especially recommend the sausage hash!). Hadley went over and above to help me, getting a high chair and cushion for my son and couldn’t do enough. It made it such an easy trip out with my 8 month old. Such a friendly chap too- I’ll be back!

I came here with my flat mate as a lazy Saturday morning brunch as it’s not far from where we live, and it was so so lovely! I had the smoked brisket with crumpets and it was divine! I was told it was a relatively new addition to the menu and I really hope it stays, it was beautiful. My flatmate had the fry up, again, beautiful! And a surprisingly large portion. The girl we were served by was lovely and friendly, couldn’t be more helpful, I’m just sorry I didn’t get her name. Will for sure be back!

Alice is a place where I feel relaxed and therefore I have visited many times from mornings till nights out . Try their fish and chips and the good variety of wines.

Special thanks to the brilliant Marianne who made sure the event went perfectly and was extra accommodating on a busy Saturday afternoon. This place has a lovely atmosphere for a dinner with friends or a date! There are a few vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, (my personal favourite being the mushroom wellington with sweet potato mash and kale) and the cauliflower cheese is immense! Great wine selection too! ☺️☺️

I celebrated my birthday here last night and it was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere on a Saturday night is perfect...buzzy, fun and a great DJ. I had a cordoned off area in the main room which for £50 was perfect for my party of 30 guests. Marianne the manager was a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble for her. I bought in my own balloons and birthday cake. The bar staff were super helpful and accommodating throughout the night...if you are looking for a birthday party in a chilled bar- this is your place!

Great neighbourhood bar with delicious cocktails. Perfect for chilled out drinks in the week/early evenings with DJ and dancing later on at the weekends.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at the Alice House in Queens Park and it was a huge success, the staff were really friendly and helpful before the event and also on the actual night, we all had the best evening and I would definitely recommend this as a venue for parties, dinner or just drinks.

We had an evening meal with a two year old and it was fantastic, so relaxed we felt right at home. The food was exceptional and our server Hadlee was a delight! We felt so welcome and they were so attentive. Wonderful place people and food, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Visited last weekend with a big group of friends and a lot of babies! We were sat out the back which was the perfect area for us! Venue is very baby friendly and perfect for friends to catch up.

Recently hired out the Library at The Alice House, Queens Park and it was the perfect space for my 30th birthday party. The staff we very helpful and made it easy to organise. We have prosecco on arrival and food platters later which were delicious. They let us put up some decorations and were always on hand which made for a great night.

The Alice House is such a great pub located right opposite Queens Park Tube Station. The staff are always helpful and deliver a great, speedy service every time.

We visited as a group of adults and a child. The staff were very accommodating to our requests for the child's food, and my own meal was delicious, filling and a great price. I would definitely recommend heading in if you are in the area.

We hired out the whole venue and it was a perfect place to bring together about 150 people near Christmas time. The venue was beautifully decorated, providing such a good environment for this type of event. The service from all of the staff was superb and they made sure that everything was ready for when we arrived, enabled by the help of the manager who made sure that it was made easy throughout the booking process too. Great food and drinks, DJ and Security was also perfect and made the whole thing really easy

We had an Xmas party here and was very well organised with clear communication & transparent pricing. On the night we were well looked after and canapes were all delicious.

Informal drinks and canapes were very much enjoyed by our whole team (of 20 people). The burger sliders and pigs in blankets disappeared very quickly and comment was that the mustard sauce was 'to die for'. Great value and helpful, welcoming staff as always.

I visited Alice House this weekend in December and we have been there in the past where we have had such a great night. On this occasion there was an awful dead animal smell towards the back end of the bar seating area which was reserved for the birthday. We told the waitress in charge on several occasions about the smell and she gave us an air freshener. We requested to keep the air freshener with us to which she said she will keep it and spray it as and when we needed it! The smell was absolutely dreadful and really put us off the whole evening. We couldn't enjoy ourselves as the smell was just lingering and none of the team did anything about it. There was something definitely an animal dead of some sort in the area we were in and it's just ashame that they put us there. I am so disappointed as I have always known Alice House to have such a good positive atmosphere however this time round we had to leave the venue early because of the smell and head off to another bar as the air freshner did not help. For anyone looking to book, remember to ask not to be seated near the back area of the bar.

We have held birthdays here several times and have always had a fantastic time. We held an engagement celebration here last week and despite booking it very late the staff were incredibly accommodating. On the actual evening they were equally as impressive and all our guests had a wonderful time.

I booked the room the library for my boy’s birthday party. The staff was very professional and prepared. They had arranged some pre-bookings of the food and served us very quickly. My guests felt at ease. We were even able to bring our own cakes and to stay a bit longer than originally planned. Very good service overall!
