The best Indian restaurant in the UK! The staff is outstanding and the food, better again. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Just don’t gloat about your spice tolerance to LK, or you will regret it!

Ordered our usual ( not had it for a year ), very disappointed. Takeaway order. Arrived cold, the chips were soggy and cold, not even the airfryer could help them !!! My chicken chatt was cold , and the portion size was half the amount, yet the price has increased. The chicken dansak was also cold and the chicken was tough. The only positive was the rice, but sadly even that was cold. 1 starter, 1 main 2 sides £20!!! Very disappointing 😞

I went to this restaurant this evening. Very good place, I liked it, it’s a pity I didn’t have time and I didn’t try their cuisine, but I think it’s delicious, so I’ll give them 5 stars in advance 👍 I was in the guest room and in the kitchen. The order and cleanliness everywhere is perfect. Few people can boast of such cleaning. The owner of the restaurant is a very nice and cheerful person, when I was leaving he gave two bottles of fruit cider to my wife who was driving our car 😁🍻 We will definitely come here not for business, but for the restaurant.

I travel all over the UK on business, my preference is always to drop into a Indian restaurant, called in here tonight with the family, they seated us despite being very busy and quickly served us drinks and starters. We didn't have to wait long for the mains to be ready despite the large party ahead of us. I can hand on heart say its one of the best Indian meals I have eaten. I've not seen the garlic and chilli chutney anywhere else previously and it's fantastic. The Saag Paneer is the best one I have eaten. All of our food was beautifully cooked. We have booked into the buffet next weekend to try other dishes, cant wait to return.

We got a takeaway, it was ready really quickly and we collected from them, they unfortunately missed one of the mains, I called and wow what fantastic customer service! They offered to deliver the missing dish, they were here really quickly and had added a rice, popadoms and a beer to the bag! My partner was over the moon and I have to say that curry was one of the nicest I’ve ever tried! They certainly made up for the very small issue we had and then some! 5* review from us, delicious food, a great bunch of people and fantastic customer service. Well worth the drive now we have moved away from Sleaford. I won’t go anywhere else, thank you and see you next time!

Went along to a taster buffet and found myself impressed with the food and selection. I got to try several new types of curry and food and was overall happy with the options. Service started a little weak but they brought it back. Would recommend to anyone to try the Taster buffet as it's a great way to try new food.

I had a delightful experience at Agra Indian restaurant on a Friday evening with my wife. The Chicken Dhansak was a flavorful delight, and the Chicken Lababdar was a rich and creamy indulgence. The Saag Aloo and Saag Paneer showcased the chef's expertise in balancing spices and textures. The attentive service and cosy ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. Agra is definitely a go-to spot for authentic Indian cuisine in Sleaford.

I can highly recommend eating at this restaurant. The service is always excellent, and the food delicious, we try and visit at least once a week. As a vegan it is especially nice having items clearly labelled on the menu, and they often suggest alternative ideas and recipes for my partner who is more adventurous when it comes to vegetables than I am. We lived up in Halifax for many years and visited a great many restaurants, The Agra is easily an equal. In laws who come down to visit, who eat across Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield each week, highly rate the food they eat at the Agra as being amongst the best. Writing this review I’m already looking forward to our next visit!

A good restaurant with excellent staff, foods always nice.

We have been coming to this wonderful restaurant since 2017. Food, staff, service is excellent. If you are very lucky LK will do you an amazing off menu special. Cobra on draught and bottles, plus an extensive bar of wines and spirits. Highly recommended

The Tikka Masala was chunks of chicken in a tasteless RED food coloured sauce. Nothing else but chicken chunks which weren’t marinated. What a disappointing meal.

Love coming here. My fav Indian restaurant ever.. we are always looked after so well by the management and staff. They take so much pride in their food and it shows. Every single meal has its own unique taste and the many different varieties are superb. Chef always gives us a taster of something he’s cooked. Thanks guys… we will be back

We turned up at The Agra tonight without having booked. They were obviously busy and had a big function on too. We were told they could give us a table but it might be 10-15 minutes before anyone could attend to us. We agreed this would be fine and we were shown to a pleasant table. The staff were as attentive as always. The service was of its usual high standard. We did have to wait slightly longer for our food to arrive but it was all spot on and lovely and hot. Honestly I've had far worse experience at quiet restaurants that I've booked at. A superb visit. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Hmm. Where to begin?Having spent roughly 16 hours cooking for my partner and family over the last few days I thought I'd take the evening off and order something for delivery. I was inclined towards Maya in Heckington but was convinced to go to the Agra despite my reservations. Here's the breakdown:After nearly an hour of waiting I called to enquire and was told "5 minutes."25 minutes later I called back only to have the individual who answered the call to quibble over the time that I placed the order - 17:08 instead of the 17:00 that I claimed - and to be told that the average delivery time is well over an hour. Fine. I should perhaps have read the fine print instead of assuming that ordering just after opening would ensure a speedy delivery. My bad.So let's get to the food.All of the meat in all of the dishes was overdone and dry. All of the dishes were either lukewarm or cold. The starter was bland and flavourless. The Peshwari naan was doughy, undercooked and distinctly lacking in "filling." The mushroom rice was so oily it was nauseating. The two mains were all fire and no flavour. The raita had gotten so warm in transit (giving the benefit of the doubt there because this former chef would never let it leave the kitchen in such a state) that it had curdled and split. The poppadoms were stale like last week's crisps and they even managed to get the selection of 'dips' wrong.And all of that for mere £42-and-a-bit.Never will I order from the Agra again.

Just got my indian takeaway...portions very small...no sauce with onion bhaji ....chicken chewy obvs. end of the year sweepings..curry sauce watery and tasteless...altogether complete let down...Merry Christmas.

A foul lady was complaining about everything purely for the sake of it tonight, but the staff were all wonderful, the food was great and perfectly portioned and despite them clearly being busy we didn’t have to wait too long at all. I live in lincoln but I would definitely come here again.

We visited Agra as part of a group of around 16. We were directed to our parking space when we arrived, and shown to the room we had been allocated for our buffet meal. The meal was ready on time, and was delicious! There was a very good selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes. All were piping hot, very tasty and one of the staff had even labelled the dishes with allergens. The left overs were carefully boxed a d we were all able to take some home with us. We had a really good evening and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We will definitely return. Thank you for looking after us all so well Agra!

I wouldn't say it was the best food I've ever had at an Indian restaurant, I've had better and had far worse. On a Friday night the place was steadily busy for dine in and takeaways, so it's quite popular. I would say that the experience was very good in a nicely presented restaurant with attentive staff, cold beer, relaxed atmosphere and cleanliness. 3 courses were very nice. All hot and brought out in good time. Tikka paneer, Lababda, peshwari and onion bahji with two pints of Malabar Indian pale ale. I would go again. Big choice of dishes available, so always good to try new combinations.

Food excellent as always, service fab. On this occasion our visit was let down by a large noisy party. Not opposed to large parties and laughing and joking, but what you don't expect when sitting down for a meal is kids running about and noisy women not caring about what their conversations contained! I'm not a Saint but the language was terrible. Staff apologised but it wasn't a great atmosphere. Again, lovely food though thanks guys xx

Visited Agra whilst down on a Break from London, we always like to have an Indian Meal Out , and We was not Disappointed. The Restaurant is So Inviting Inside and Out , Large and Spacious with the Attention to being Covid Safe the Best we have Seen , well Done to them. As for the Food it was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, So Fresh and Tasty best We have had for Years by FAR !!! If you Love Lamb as We Do then I dont think you Would have tasted anything as Good as theirs.... we had their Chefs Recommended indian Platter Starter which consisted of Large Chunks of Lamb and Chicken with a Somosa and Onion Bhaji on A Skewer ..it was like having the Best Tender Roast Lamb you are Likely to have tasted but flavoured in Subtle Indian Spices and Chicken Tikka that was also So Delicious and Tender..the Lamb was just so Nice We had to send our Compliments to the Chef . Our Main Course Dishes including a King Prawn Dish were also so Lovely and the Naan Breads so Fluffy and Gorgeous. The Staff were So Friendly too😀 We only Wished this Restaurant was Near to where we Lived and we just think how Lucky the People of Sleaford are to have it !!!! SO THANKYOU to all the Staff at the Agra Especially The Top Notch Chef 👍😁

I consider myself quite well informed having travelled extensively and worked overseas. It's one of the few restaurants that deliver to my area. Such a shame as this Indian has seriously gone down hill. It used to be the second best in the area now it's possibly the worst. Food not only took 2 hours to get to us but was bland and dishes were over spiced and unevenly flavoured. VERY disappointed, we will be driving out and collecting from somewhere else in future. Total waste of money and unexceptable cooking.

I’ve been here a few times when visiting my parents, and it’s always lovely. This meal however was absolutely outstanding! Genuinely the nicest curry I’ve ever had! I’ve tried looking online for the dish I had, but I can’t see it- it was the slow cooked lamb off the bone and was insanely delicious. Beautifully spiced with cinnamon and heated to my liking (which I specified with the waiter!) also fantastic, warm service. I can’t wait to visit again!

Have had food from the Agra on many occasions and dined in a couple of times. All the curries I've tried have been fantastic and you can never argue with the service! Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, even on occasions we've had slightly larger/rowdier groups in...On the takeaway side of things, I most recently ordered during the later end of COVID restrictions and the collection service was fantastic. Never any issues, will keep coming back as the local Indian of choice!

Another wonderful evening at our favourite Indian restaurant. It's not the closest for us, but well worth the journey every time we go. Always delicious, no matter what dish we try. Service friendly/welcoming and efficient. This was our first visit back since lockdown and the extra efforts made to cater to all guest types was commendable (i.e. seating areas reserved for those who wanted to maintain social distancing and an element of caution, with another area for those who felt more relaxed). We will definitely be back again soon!

I recently went to the Agra with 2 friends, it was on the spur of the moment and as usual, Leeneth & his team went above & beyond to accommodate us as we didn't have transport at the time, we were picked up and brought home afterwards.The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. We weren't sure what we wanted to have to eat, so asked Leeneth for suggestions. The food was delicious and definitely the best Indian restaurant in the area.

Called into the Agra with friends for an early evening meal. Friendly greeting on arrival and all COVID precautions in place. Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was hot, tasty and good size portions. Will definitely be returning.

We have had two amazing meals late June and early July and it deepens my stance that on Indian cuisine I now will only dine at the Ayr India Seafront in Ayr and here at The Agra Sleaford. I have eaten in Indian restaurants in UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and Germany and they are all second rate compared to Ayr India and The Agra. Fantastic meal 5th July with LK as host, food and service amazing plus the added bonus of LK home made beetroot chutney on the last two visits just adds to the excellence. Many thanks to all the wonderful management and staff at the Agra in Sleaford.

I have had several parties and meals at the Agra and couldn't fault, food and staff are always amazing. After a busy tiring day at work, I decided to order a take away as the usual place I order from was closed I know it was New Year's Eve and that they would be busy but it took 2 hours for the food to arrive then it was cold, it really wasn't what I have experienced before. I had to microwave it, peshwari nan solid, I ordered a Cobra that didn't arrive I did call them and the delivery driver did return... About the only thing I enjoyed. So very disappointed. I won't be ordering a take away again but will visit once open for sit down meals.

Had a meal in the resturant in november for a birthday with friends which was lovely. Tonight 5/12/2020 we ordered a takeaway for delivery which was 2hours when we were told 1hr 45! Would'nt mind if the wait was worth it.... to our dissapointment it was cold, tasteless and 1 meal was the wrong meal. 😓😓😓😓

I’ve just paid £18 plus delivery for something which tastes like a ready meal. Haven’t tried the onion bajis yet- maybe they’ll surprise me.

Fantastic restaurant, the whole experience from the warm welcome to paying the Bill was second to none. We have eaten in various restaurants over Covid but none are a patch on the measures the Agra have in place, really well thought out with everyone’s safety in mind. The menu slightly reduced due to Covid but we had a party of 6 and had no complaints the garlic chicken dish is simply the best Indian dish I have ever had. The entire restaurant was impeccably clean including the toilets and the staff were very attentive. We had a 5 year old with us and they brought him extra food out he loved the attention. recommend the Agra sleaford, good quality , service, atmosphere and Covid safe.

Came in after work with the family and glad to see that the food is as good as it's always been. The restaurant has been separated for Covid measures in a particularly elegant way so you almost forget anything is different. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area

Visited during October, strange times but found the limited menu a bit dull. Our two dishes, one a tikka masala and one a special, looked and tasted exactly the same, also very sweet. A bag containing our cutlery was labelled asking us to put our disposable napkins in after eating. Chutneys were served in plastic pots. Safe but also spoiled the feeling of eating out. Good beer on draft but was not impressed with the bland food. Maybe we were just unlucky. If you like no heat in your curry then give it a try but it was not for us.
