Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Brilliant service as well and a lovely atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very good Thai restaurant, not too expensive. On the other hand, rather far from the center, go by bus or Uber. The service was perfect, the staff very kind.

Delicious food. Extremely reasonably priced: 40.5 for 1 starter 2 mains and 2 drinks. Staff are extremely pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere is fantastic, music is pleasant and at a reasonable volume. Very peaceful environment for a lovely meal. Overall it was wonderful, would recommend.

Having read the reviews I was disappointed. The mixed starter was overly fried, with no distinctive flavours. The pad Thai was lacking flavour and texture but fortunately the Panang curry packed a punch.

Chose the set menu. Loved the soup, it was spicy and freshly made. Main course not really appealing, beef and vegetables drowned in a sticky sweet-and-sour sauce. Is that even a Thai dish? Starter plate consisted entirely of fried items. Friendly staff, but this cannot compensate for the at best average meal.

A must go place every time we visit Belfast. My wife being Thai appreciates the authenticity of their food, I simply love Thai food. Our meals are consistently cooked as asked for and the service is excellent. This time we took the son for his first taste of Thai, Highly recommend

An excellent meal and friendly staff. We booked this meal at the last minute and we were so pleased we did. I would 100% go back tomorrow.

Happy, efficient service. We had the set 3 course meal. The entrees were great but the blander of the two soup choices was too spicy for us. The main courses were quite limited in their meat content and were also quite small portions. Thus a 3-4 star dining experience only.

Overall, the food was very good. The Thai green curry with beef was well seasoned and tasty. While the prawn tempuras were well battered and lightly cooked as there was not much grease. My only criticism is that the Tom Yum Goong that I had as a starter was very spicy and almost inedible. However, the staff were very friendly and professional and the restaurant was clean. I would definitely return.

Food was excellent, excellent service, front of house person was happy and welcoming, I have visited this venue twice during my stay in Belfast and every time it has been busy, even though we ate at 6pm, which to me makes me feel confident with the GP ood

20 minute walk from Victoria Street, but well worth it. Great food and very good value for money. Best meal we had in Belfast. Staff lovely, but not intrusive.

I shared a picture of the "prawns" - they are more like small lobsters 😍 The mussels are HUGE- I can't eat fast enough to get to the other dishes. ❤️🙏🏼

This is a really a pleasant and friendly place to dine. The staff are helpful and efficient. Food is first class and very authentic. The chef is Thai and his wife is Irish so a good combination!

Another first rate evening at the Thai Village. We were 4 different nationalities - Italian, Turkish, South American and local and ranged in age from 7 to 91 and each and every one of us had the best night. The food was excellent as always. The choice is wide and cooked exactly as we wanted. Eveyone recommends the sharing starter selection. We had curries and stir fries and the sea bream was the best one of our party had ever tasted. The Set Menus are a great option too. There was a varied selection of drinks. Soft drinks, Thai and non alcoholic beers and a good wine list. The French one we chose was an especially subtle accompaniment to the flavours in the food. We finished with ice creams, banana fritters and Thai pancakes. A dessert selection for sharing is an excellent decision as - like the starter selection - we all got try different things. Every single one of us sent back clean plates and empty glasses and left planning our next visit. I can’t recommend the Thai Village highly enough. Excellent staff, a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and you are guaranteed the best night there - no matter what your nationality is or what age you are!

Lovely restaurant in a great location with friendly staff. Food was well priced and decent but slightly underwhelming.

Honest Review: Food: Expecting an authentic Thai dinner but disappointed. One of the worst meals I’ve ever had.😪 In general, the food was unauthentic and substandard, not hot enough, portions were small. The Pad Thai was the worst I’ve ever had. It looks bad and taste bland: Pad Thai should look brown/red, but as you can see it looks pale. I couldn’t really taste that it was stir fried in a wok since it was not hot when served and I tasted no flavour Maillard reaction. I suppose there should be some taste of fish sauce or oyster sauce, but I can only taste nothing other than the lemon juices and peanuts bits. The chicken breast pieces in it were dry and tasteless. 3 course set dinner: Mix starter platter: Chicken satay didn’t taste grilled, no taste of herbs or spice, just a bland piece of overcooked chicken with average satay sauce. Deep fried wonton not crispy and very little prawn meat. There was a piece of samosa-like pastry with sesame but I didn’t know what’s that since it seems to be not in the menu and it did not taste particularly well too. The only acceptable starters are the two prawn spring rolls, at least they were crispy. Red Curry Duck with white rice: the Curry was relatively better but still average. Quite a lot of duck meat and taste like typical Thai red curry but it was very salty. The rice was too dry and hard. Chicken soup in coconut milk with lemon grass: The only satisfactory dish, hot and full of coconut milk flavour, quite a lot of chicken pieces and mushroom. Service: Nearly nonexistent. Didn’t give us cutlery at first and didn’t ask for refilling water. When I ask the server to refill, he simply gave us a teapot of water for us to serve ourselves. And unsurprisingly, he didn’t refill the teapot for us.😶 Summary: Mostly tasteless or super salty, unauthentic, disappointing, not worth all the good reviews here🤦🏻‍♂️

Arrived today 9.25pm advertising open till 10pm got table then told need to order starter mains on spot and all arrive together pointed out they advertise open till 10pm pls. Folks stay away false times food average staff review -25 out of 10 as all can see pic attached of opening hours

Friendly staff. Accommodating and helpful. Nice food, but the portions are extremely small. I ordered the Pad Thai kung. The dish I received it in was so small I honestly thought I was mistakenly getting it as a starter.

Called in here for the first time, it was lovely!!! Starters, and main course were just amazing, plenty of food for two of us. I can't believe all the times we have been to Belfast and we didn't know about Thai Village. The staff are freindly and look after you. Very nice dinner with my wife. Food was excellent. I had the seas bass and my wife had a chicken dish. Rice and noodles delicious. Quiet restaurant but nice and relaxing with plenty of bars nearby. Good value. Meal with 2 drinks each was around €80.

With my wife being Thai, she knows when a Thai meal is cooked by a Thai person. The meal was very good, with friendly Thai employees looking after us. We would go back to the Thai Village again.

We have been customers of the Thai Village since it opened in 2001 and I can say with all honesty that we have never once been disappointed. We bring friends, colleagues, family and guests from abroad and every visit has been 5 stars. The choice on the menu is excellent and cooked as you like it then beautifully presented. I could not recommend the Thai Village highly enough. You are guaranteed the best evening dining here. The owners and staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and make sure your evening is just right for you.

I had a fabulous meal here with my parents. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Big portions at reasonable prices. The staff was so attentive and friendly and made our dining experience really pleasant. Excellent service and a lovely chilled atmosphere to dine in.

The food was really good! Michael was our server and he was really nice while giving us recommendations and accommodating all of our needs. Despite having a medium-sized group, we were well looked after. It’s a great spot to eat for Thai food!

Had chicken red curry, fried cod curry and spicy seafood stir-fry. The seafood stir-fry was a bit spicy but it tastes delicious!

Staff were friendly and courteous. Good range of dishes on the menu however I did find the portions a bit small but were very tasty.

If you want some Thai food, ths is the place to go! Delicious food at good prices, nice looking restaurant, keeping in mind the name Thai Village, and great service. Lots to choose from the Menu, I tried the Green Chicken Curry and it was amazing.

We had fantastic Thai dinner last night. One of the best Asian meals during our 2 weeks stay in Ireland. The taste is authentic and service is impeccable. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Thai Cuisine.

Went to Thai Village because we were craving Asian food:) we were quite happy with our meal, the taste is authentic, the service was very nice and the portions are quite generous! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because we thought the satay chicken was a bit dry despite the sauce being delicious! And the spareribs were slightly cold which was a shame because the marinade was yummy:)

Went there with my family. It was quiet busy but the staff were really friendly and made a great effort to accommodate us. We ordered curry and Phad Thai which was really nice. However my son ordered the single person meal with starter which was not as nice, but overall we really enjoyed it. The service was excellent so I would definitely recommend a visit.

Writing this review before I've even finished my meal, phenomenal food. Far less spicy than Thai in the states but that seems to be an overall cultural trend here across the pond. Love the ambience and had amazing service. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal Thai dishes and great servings!! I was blown away by the authenticity of the dishes and just how delicious everything was. The decor in the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are pleasant. It looks like a small hole in the wall from the outside but inside transports you to Thailand from the statutes and paintings, smells and overall cuisine! Enjoy!

Outstanding! Every dish was unreal. The owner was lovely and guided our decisions when ordering. My favourite place to eat in Belfast.

We had a minor problem with one of the dishes and they went out of their way to solve it and put it right. Really appreciated everything they did to make it right, above our expectations.

It was lovely to return after over a year and to know that the food and service would be as perfect as ever. Our meal was gorgeous and the restaurant was an oasis of calm and comfort on the busy Dublin Road. Highly recommended.
