Thai Square Fulham in Hammersmith and Fulham

Our first visit to Thai Square for a birthday celebratory dinner of a close friend and what an absolute disappointment. Total shambles for this restaurants reputation. A ruined dining experience!There was no meet and greet on arrival and waited around 5-10mins for a member of staff to actually notice despite the restaurant not being busy. When we were eventually noticed, a female member of staff came over and just waved her hand in the air pointing to the direction and said “go to the bar and left.” We noticed as we walked through the restaurant that there were only 2 members of staff visible. There were 2 small groups of around 6-10 people and then our party group of around 25.No ambience in the restaurant. Thank goodness for conversation and the help of a music playlist on one of our phones!There was only 1 member of staff allocated to our large group (a table of over 20!!)We were served the wrong drinks on the first round.The food overall was poor and definitely not freshly made. All tasted as thought they were either stored in the oven since the beginning of the day or reheated from the fridge after being made a few days before.We had a lovely Waitor who clearly was overworked and tried his best to provide a good service however he was failed by this restaurants manager who did not provide him the support he clearly needed and to add to that no management in sight.I heard good reviews of the other Thai Square locations in Strand and Putney. However it seems as though that Thai Square Fulham receives very little attention from their management and HQ.

We bought a takeaway from Thai Square Fulham in January. Never had any issues with them before. This time everything had been reheated. It was disgusting. It was old, burnt and unpleasant. We had to throw everything away. Completely inedible. Complained to Deliveroo and got a full refund. Avoid!!!

Después de leer las críticas aquí, decidí hacer una reserva para cenar anoche.Me encanta la comida tailandesa, ¡así que estaba extremadamente emocionado!Sin embargo, por decir lo menos, fue la mayor decepción.Les tomó 20 minutos sentarnos, una hora más antes de que recibieran nuestros pedidos o incluso nos ofrecieran bebidas y luego otra hora antes de que llegara nuestra comida. El restaurante estaba extremadamente silencioso con solo cuatro mesas, pero la camarera ya parecía frenética, corriendo por el restaurante haciendo cosas para cada mesa. We went here for a special family meal and it certainly lived up to the occasion. The food was delicious and the staff exceptional. We felt so well looked after and the atmosphere in the restaurant was brilliant. We had a selection of different starters, mains and deserts (I can highly recommend the mango sorbet) and came away delighted. Certainly worth a visit!

This was a total disaster! Booked a table for my daughter and I before a Chelsea match. Arrived to be told that the place was very over-booked and that there were no tables. Fortunately I saw someone paying their bill and grabbed the chance...We ordered immediately but 45 minutes later nothing had arrived. The restaurant was swamped with very few staff. We got some of our food after an hour of waiting and had to rush it down. Most of the food was cold! The only person really trying to help was the guy at the front desk who didn't even work for the restaurant - he was helping his wife out! Looking at the reviews this place is good when not busy but I would strongly recommend giving it a miss on a Chelsea night...we will!

Despite mixed reviews, we noticed that reviewers with 100+ reviews all gave high ratings. We normally go to the Putney flag ship despite inconsistent quality even from one week to the next. It's a huge and light room overlooking the river and the best place in Putney for entertaining friends and family. On our last visit, with a group of 8 for Sunday lunch, they took a whole hour to bring our food and there were only 3 staff for the whole large space (and not many customers, either).Anyway, this place is very large too but dark. There were only 2 staff on a Sunday afternoon and only 3 tables with customers. Service was friendly and attentive and food came within minutes.We found it tastier than the Putney version although presentation was not nearly as good. Since our votes go to flavour over looks, we were happy and will return here by preference.

Loved the food and friendly service. Went for a night out with my girlfriend and visited this restaurant before the cinema. Great, authentic thai food and will be back again :)

We took a chance and went to the Thai restaurant as we were staying in the area for several days. We are thankful we did because the food was great. We both had different curries and were impressed. The waiters were helpful and attentive.

Had a great service and the food was delicious. The waiting staff made mr feel very welcome. The spacing and lighting was good. I was very impressed with the food I ate. The atmosphere was lovely and everyone was smiling. This is not a common thing nowadays in London. It is a great restaurant to unwind and have a lovely meal. If you want to have a lovely meal with nice people this is the place to go.

Went on night of a Chelsea game. Restaurant was busy but not over the top. Waited an hour and a half for a main (and not all starters had come by then) and then the place just went into meltdown. Punters fed up waiting and just walking out without paying. Staff unable to explain what was going on. I have never seen anything like it. Terrible.

Cené aquí esta noche, fue terrible, pedí un curry verde con arroz de coco. Tan pronto como el arroz estuvo sobre mi mesa, olía mal, lo intenté un poco y sabía mal, llamé a la camarera y ella lo olió y dijo que sí, que no huele bien. Si vous cherchez un Thaï dans le quartie de Fulham Broadway, n'hésitez pas. La cuisine est fraîche et goutue et le service excellent. Nous avons renvoyé un plat car trop épicé, pas de problème pour le remplacer.

An amazingly delicious Thai food in Fulham and possibly in Kensington and chelsea. The staff are extremely friendly and the management should be the role model of how restaurants should be run - customer care at its best.

Went out with the girls for my birthday dinner. The restaurant was nicely decorated and welcoming. It was not over crowded. There were various choices on the menu. We had two starters and atwo mains to shate between three of us. The portion of food was generous. Yummy food. Pad thai was my favourite

Bought the team here for a team lunch, not very busy. Friendly and helpful staff, we all ate from the set lunchtime menu, excellent value for money. Overall, slightly lacking in atmosphere, but reasonable food and a good price

When we arrived it was during the start of a Chelsea football game, around 4pm on Saturday afternoon so by then it was rather empty. First thing we noticed was the decor and lighting, which had been tastefully decorated to a high standard and attention to detail. I'd have given 5 stars had there been someone at the entrance to greet us and guide us to our table, however we were served promptly and the the staff were well presented and polite throughout. We both ordered the Green Curry with steamed rice. The portions were generous and nicely presented. We will definitely eat here again. Many thanks

Nous avons commandé à emporter pour dîner à l'hôtel (mon mari était malade). Mis à part qu'il n'y avait ni couverts ni serviettes, pour 90£ pour 2 entrées et 3 plats 3 bouteilles d'eau, on s'attendait à mieux. Le poulet Massaman n'était pas au niveau et de piètre qualité.

Tuvimos una comida estupenda en Thai Square en Fulham. Mi curry amarillo y Pad Tak era tan sabrosa y las raciones fue justo. Mi marido tenía un curry verde tailandés y pegajosas de arroz, también increíble. El vino es un poco caro.

After changing our plans at the last minute on Thursday evening we stumbled on the Thai Square. What we got was a restaurant to ourselves and a good deal and quality food to boot.

We went on a Sunday lunchtime and it was virtually empty when we arrived around 1:30. We had booked online and pre-ordered four of the champagne meals which is essentially a glass of fizzy wine with a choice of one of four dishes with rice. Although I told the waitress I had booked the set meals we were still given normal menus and had to ask for the menu for the meal we'd booked.

Came here for dinner and were very pleased with the food. In addition, we were able to take advantage of the Early Bird special menu, which was very good value. The staff were helpful and friendly and I thought the decor was particularly attractive. I would definitely return.

The decor and interior is fabulous and inviting.I ordered Chilli basil beef and it was incredible. Service was efficient. Will be back here again.

Went here on Saturday night, the service was very good and the food was on another level. The staff really knew what they were talking about and were very helpful. Food was fresh and tasty, the red duck curry was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

Ordered a delivery - phad thai and a green curry. Both had great flavour and tasted very authentic. First time had food from here and would order from them again.

Had the £17.95 set menu which consisted of the mixed starter which had a little bit of 4 different dishes, we then had the chicken and the prawn mains with a side of rice and the noddles. Great value. Funky toilets too!

Visited here on the bank holiday Monday in the evening. Staff were very accommodating allow us to sit where we wanted and even switched off the air conditioning as we were really cold.We ordered a starter and a main course. I ordered crab cakes and was surprised that it had sweetcorn in it and was pretty chewy and sticky! I was informed whilst we paid that I had actually been given corn cakes! For the mix-up I was given crab cakes to take home, free of charge. Our main dishes were really nice and flavoursome. One thing we noticed was that during our time in the restaurant no one came and asked us if everything was OK.. First time we have experienced this in our time of dining out.They have created a really nice ambience even though it looks dark from the outside it is beautiful inside.

Visited Thai Square Fulham yesterday for a team meeting lunch. It was empty when we went around 12:30pm. Place was very lovely and had a beautiful atmosphere and feel. Service was good and waiters were friendly and helpful with allergies. The veg spring rolls for the starters was nice, the main dish chicken pad Thai was rather bland, didn't have much taste in it. Nice big helpings of chicken inside but not too much flavour sadly.

This is my second visit to this restaurant in a week.I wanted to try something different.If you're visiting London, go to Fulham Broadway station. The restaurant is 1 minute from the tube. Do not miss this memorable dish; duck red curry with lychee, coconut and pineapple.The delicate flavours took me by surprise!This dish is outstanding.I wanted to know more so talked with Ken who let me into the secret origins of the receipe. The wife of king Pra-Vimade, Rama the fifth created this dish for her husband at the Palace Suan-Sunanta. The king needed to enjoy Duck without the oil.Rama succeeded and so did Thai Square.The food was great, also the informative and friendly staff.

Visited Thai Square Fulham after Chelsea home game. The restaurant was full and busy but we still got a table without waiting. The waiting staff was friendly and service was fast. Food is absolutely delicious. Very good experience.

Walked in without reservation. Food comes in a good speed. Good quality for a good price. We left satisfied.

Fantastic ambience from the outside looks small but when you go in what a lovely spacious restaurant, decor is nice, clean and staff are very happy serving you. Good was very good and dessert I had banana fritters and ice cream the best I've tasted ice cream creamy full of flavour and the banana fritters light batter and a nice serving. Enjoyed the food and can't wait to go back there. I've passed this restaurant so many times but glad I ventured through the door great place reasonably priced for the quality of good good.

The food is very good value for money compared to almost all restaurants in the area. The portions are nice and it is tasty. It is not mind blowing good but still nice for a casual lunch or dinner. We've been there twice and tried their panang curry, their pad thai, chicken cashew and their mixed starter. The panang curry was good, chicken cashew was very good, pad thai was average. Service is fast and polite. Overall I would recommend.

Kind of pricey for average Thai food. I had their tilapia and rice many months back and I enjoyed it. But this time when we ordered their noodles, it was just so and so, not particularly great food considering its pricing.

Off the bat; the menu at Thai square although quite good is a million miles away from Traditional Thai Food, so if you are expecting a Chicken Pad Thai, or a basic Green Curry you maybe in for a shock. They do serve curries but everything is with a ''Twist''.The service was very good; welcoming and very friendly. We went early evening on A friday and as expected was very busy but everything seemed very efficiently run and atmosphere relaxed. I ordered the King Prawn Salad and Rice. Other members of my party ordered soft shell crap, chilli Beef all served with Rice. The soft shell crab was nice and flavoursome, however the chilli beef not so...The Sticky rice was quite dry. We did mention this to the waitress who changed it over at once, however that was dry too :-( Still It was an okay meal. I wouldn't not go back but would nt be on my list of priorities. Very expensive for what it was also.

Location is fabulous, service fine so why did I feel they were going through the motions? For the price, the set menu seemed pre-prepared and formulaic. Where is the love?

We use this restaurant often before going to watch Chelsea, but went after the match on Saturday against Arsenal and had a wonderful late lunch.The food quality and choice is always excellent and the service is always first rate - drinks are served promptly and allow you to order as and when.Fabulous dishes like 'Prawns love Scallops' make this place a good choice at any time.

Just 50 m on the right hand side of the Fulham Broadway tube station, this Thai restaurant is clean, comfortable, has elegant interiors and typical Thai statues.Pretty nice for a formal dinner. Very good food, I recommend char-grilled marinated chicken, dumplings with soy sauce, steamed rice. The Thai beer, Singha, is also worth of a sip. Staff is kind. The only problem is that the food is served in quite small portions and 3-course lunch costs 35-37 euros.

I've walked past this establishment (and the one in Putney) many times, I've also ordered meals from it via Deliveroo and it was actually takeaway that we originally decided on, yet thought we'd give the place a try by dining there on this occasion. It has nice surroundings and the staff are nice, the jazz music playing is ok too when it's soft. The food could've been a little better. The waiter dropped one of the starters on the table in front of us and didn't see the need to replace it,despite spilling some of the sauce on the side. The pad Thai was quite greasy too.

Food was above average. The service was slow as they preferred to talk to each other. There were only 3-4 tables was empty as the pricing was a bit stiff for what you got.

Went here on a Saturday night before the cinema. There was no atmosphere at all, about 3 tables in. The waiter wasn't friendly and offered no advice when asked about what the dishes were like on the 2 course menu.The food was pleasant, smallportion though.We asked for the service charge to be removed, he didnt ask why, probably everyone who was served by him, did the same.Wouldn't go back

As we both love Thai food, we came and ordered from a tasting menu, swapping a few dishes for things we loved. Unfortunately, the food was a little bland and the portion sizes exceptionally small.The waitresses are quick and friendly but walk around in excessively short skirts and low tops. It's a little embarrassing.

We had lunch here and found the food delicious and very authentic. The Tom Yum soup was one of the best I have tasted and the set two course lunch is great value. The fragrant thai rice was perfect with a delicious green curry. We couldn't fault it. Great surroundings too.

We did try the place twice as the food IS tasty - just a bit lacking in a couple of ways. Green Curry with Chicken - 1st night about 2 pieces of chicken, second night much better. Massaman Beef Curry had a LOT of potatoes and they were actually cold inside. 2nd night - Pad Thai with Prawns and the grand total of TWO prawns - they were cut in half lengthwise, to make it look like 4, but pretty poor really. Have never had a dish like that with less than 6 prawns in it. Chicken Curry had more meat this time. Overall good taste, but hey, they need to be consistent and serve fair sized portions all the time.

Have been to this restaurant a number of times and each visit has been excellent. Lovely food and very helpful, friendly staff make each visit to the Thai Square very memorable and look forward to future meals at this restaurant.

On the way back from Wimbledon to Chelsea and thought we'd stop off at Fulham for dinner. The restaurant is very well placed and as we got out of the tube station at Fulham Broadway the thought of traditional Thai was welcoming out from under the rain. We weren't disappointed! Delicious food and the waiter even switched the glasses of wine I ordered as I didn't read the menu properly (sans glasses) and ordered red instead of white, but happily changed it without me asking. Great place, would return.

Stopped in for a lunch which because of the 2 course set lunch advertising outside and because I walk past Thai Square everyday on my way to work so wanted to try it out. I wasn't disappointed, the food was of a good standard. Nothing out of this world but good value for money.

Good service, our food was good and plentiful, bit pricey. We had the sharing platter starter and it was excellent.

The woman we had was pretty rude and very abrupt. The restaurant was dead so no ambiance. The food was good but very overpriced for what it was. You can definitely find nicer and cheaper thai restaurants around.

I have been to Thai Square several times and it is fine but some of the food is of variable quality. For example, of the starters for two, the dumplings and the breaded prawns don't taste great and the satay sauce doesn't taste of much, while the chicken with the satay and vegetable spring rolls are decent. Since being diagnosed as coeliac, I have stuck to the green curry, pad Thai, and chicken satay as these are the main gluten free options available (although they do warn that there may be traces of gluten which I find unhelpful). All of these are fine, but the green curry lacks depth of flavour. The room is stylishly decorated and the staff are efficient.

I was in Thai square yesterday evening and I must say that the service was rubbish, the waiters were quite rude and they didn't have manners. Thank you and please dident exist. We called the manager over to tell about the poor service but he wasn't helpful at all and his concern was to get the payment and go. VERY RUDE STAFF. As for the food was the worst green curry I ever tried. Never going back there is just a waist of money.

Food quality was really good exelent flavours well presented.I had a starter and a main from there set menu for 1. (Ends 7:30pm wk days) For my starter I had a selection of Thai hors d'oeuvres Inc beautifully moist satay chicken with creamy satay sauce on the side, crab fish cake which was packed with crab meat and had a fresh flavour and steamed veg in a very light tempura batter with sweet chili sauce on the side.For the main I had the chicken dish with roasted Chili's oyster sauce and cashews (I can't remember the thai name for the dish)With egg noodles and stir fried veg. Again the chicken was so moist and succulent I could cut it with a spoon the flavours were amazing no salt pepper or soy sauce needed not even a thought. The service was great we didn't feel rushed or delayed and everything was at an enjoyable pace. The interaction with the staff was minimal but they seamed friendly.

Walked past many times but never thought to go in! It was lovely inside (if a bit cheesy) and the staff were very helpful. Everything was very clearly marked on the menu - good for people with intolerance's and also many vegetarian options! AND THEY DO TAKE AWAYWill be going again :)

Had dined at the Trafalgar Square branch of this restaurant chain years back and as my first experience was positive, I recently decided to go for dinner at Thai Square Fulham. Once again, my second experience was positive. The food was of good quality and served fast (perhaps a bit too fast for my liking) although the restaurant was full on a Saturday evening after a Chelsea match. The service was ok, too. Overall experience was positive and the restaurant is recommended.

Pedimos por delivery, el mixed starters es bastante caro para lo que trae. Recomiendo el pad med mamuang with chicken, muy rico la verdad.

Just a few nights ago I was at my godmothers house and we all got a bit peckish, so anyway, we ordered food from Thai Square and I had the chicken Thai green curry and it was better than some of the Thai cuisine that I tasted in Thailand itself! I actually said to my godmum 'you don't even know how good I feel right now' and my mate said that the curry made him feel 'emotional' of course everyone laughed at the comments but agreed with us 100% . you should try Thai and you will not regret trying Thai at Thai Square. Saturday lunchtime and restaurant was very quiet, not a good sign. Service was ok but food let the place down, I had the crispy Soft Shell Crab. It was not what I would expect as it was soggy with the peppers and sauce on top. My friends had various dishes and no one seemed to think it was anything but average.I will not be returning.

Fuimos a cenar un domingo y me quedé encantada con la exquisitez, calidad y frescura de la comida.Me encanta la comida thai y este restaurante es el mejor que he probado con diferencia. El pad thai marca la diferencia con cualquier otro restaurante; increíblemente bueno.Las raciones son bastante grandes. Un plato principal es difícil de terminar si has tomado entrante.El servicio es muy atento y la decoración hace del establecimiento un lugar acogedor.El precio está muy bien para la calidad de la comida.Totalmente recomendable!

Just ordered delivery last night from this restaurant in Fulham - I assume it is related to the Thai Square chain elsewhere but I cannot be sure - the logo appears as if it is the same chain.Delicious Thai food - even the squid was still fresh when delivered (Deliveroo) - great chicken/pork dumplings too.

We went here for a family dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were a party of 9.. The restaurant is nicely decorated. We all really enjoy the food. It was very tasty. The portions were also quite generous too. Service was pretty prompt and we were never left looking around for someone when we needed to order something. Thoroughly enjoyed this visit and would definitely come back again.

ロンドンでなかなかおいしいものに出会えなくて、タイ料理にチャレンジしました。温かい料理が恋しくて麺料理を選びましたが、想像と違って汁気がなく平たい麺の焼きそばのような感じでした。（タイ料理に詳しくないので・・・）が、味は落ち着く醤油ベースの味でしっかり食べることができました。値段は妥当だと思います。店の雰囲気も落ち着いていて、ゆっくりできました。

Já havia passado dezenas de vezes enfrente a este restaurante e nunca tive a curiosidade de entrar, finalmente fui e foi uma ótima surpresa... O restaurante e super bonito, bem decorado, o atendimento bem rápido e legal e o principal que é a comida veio perfeita!!! Pedi uma galinha com curry que estava simplesmente deliciosa... À entrada também foi perfeita!!! Me senti num excelente restaurante na Thailandia que é um país que adoro!!!

The food is fine - fresh thai flavours, tasty and good portion sizes. We have dined in twice and depending on when you visit the atmosphere is drastically different. When we visited on a weeknight we were one of only a few tables and as the place is quite big the atmosphere felt a bit dull. However on a weekend when all of the tables are full the place is busy and buzzing which is much nicer. Would like to return to try the lunch menus which seem to be recommended by others.
