Came across this gem in Brighton. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and it was amazing, authentic taste and presented beautifully. The staff were wonderful and really friendly - will definitely be back to make my way through the huge variety they have on their menu. Highly Recommend!

Staff is friendly but Jesus the pad thai was so bad. How can a place named Thai Pad Thai can make such a bad dish. Dry, tasteless and not fresh.

Great food at this little local independent restaurant but totally destroyed by the lousy service. Our waitress, long platted hair, blondish was just awful. I am sure the owners are lovely but they need to show her how to do her job or she needs to change jobs, we were clearly an inconvenience to her and to top it all they started to mop the floor around us whilst we ate!

Would give 0 but it’s not an option. Honestly the most disgusting excuse for a Thai green curry I’ve ever had. And super sweet. Fail - don’t order (unless a drunk student in which case you may not care.)

I've twice ordered via deliveroo and both times delivery has come >1hr after advertised time, and no explanation when I called. I believe they are gaming the system. Steer clear on deliveroo.

Really really good Pad Thai (with duck even better)

My Chicken satay came dry, without any satay sauce. My spicy prawn crackers didn't arrive at all! The Pad sew ew actually arrived as advertised but had zero flavour. I've eaten mud which tasted better. plenty of other places around, don't waste your time eating here.

I took my mum here when she was visiting town from abroad and we had an excellent meal made all the better by a fantastic member of staff who made us feel so welcome and well looked after. Loved it. Nice atmosphere, great service. Love a place which still lets you bring alcohol. The most important thing though is the food was delicious.

I was initially deterred by the reviews, but I'm glad I gave it a try - the signature dish (Thai Pad Thai) was absolutely delicious, the starters equally so, and the service could not have been friendlier or more forthcoming. Will definitely come back again!

I ordered delivery from here tonight & it was amazing!! I ordered the spicy squid which was the best squid I’ve had in a long time and a panang curry. The flavours were exquisitely authentic, I’ll definitely be ordering this again. Very generous portion sizes aswell! I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 12 months and had never had food from this restaurant. I walked past the other day and saw a leaflet outside advertising 20% off your first online order (collection or delivery). So decided to go for it. I ordered a couple of appetisers, a side dish, and a main dish. A mixture of meat and veg. Overall, I liked the food. It was quite delicious. The portion sizes are generous. There was a lot of chicken in the noodles. I have only two minor criticisms, which are that the main dish was a little heavy on the sauce - but because the sauce tasted good, I didn’t mind - and the fried crispy tofu was a bit dry. But overall, the food was good. 4 stars and I will order again. Also, I collected and it was ready within 10-15 minutes of my order. Friendly staff too. And nice decor inside. UPDATE: 5 stars - I’ve now ordered six times, each time using the 20% discount that they send every four weeks or so. Every time the food has been delicious, fresh, good portion sizes and super friendly staff when I go to collect.

Hands down the BEST Thai food in Brighton, so much flavour, the curries are so beautiful and full of flavour and not just watery liquid. I couldn’t go anywhere else after having their beaut Thai food 👌 it’s all so authentic, I’ve been to Thailand and I actually prefer Thai pad Thais food!!

I just got takeaway from this restaurant and it was huge let down :( food was terrible , cold umdercooked , rice did look and tasted like was cooked 5 days ago ( dry , crusty ) the squid was hard to chew . My worst thai ever so far . Will never order from this place again . Do not waste your money .

First time I’ve ordered from this place and was expecting it to be great based on the reviews but unfortunately I was very disappointed. The salt and pepper squid was very overdone, chewy and dry and had ALOT of msg sprinkled all over it which was unnecessary and ruined the taste. The Penang curry was ok but yet again Could taste a lot of msg and was mainly vegetable only a few prawns which you pay extra for. Won’t be ordering again

Avoid this place!! Overpriced and rude. The prices on their website are about 50% cheaper than in real life… so when we went to collect our takeout we were shocked to be charged a huge amount more, the staff were really rude when we pointed this out. Very unethical and wasteful.

Tasty Thai food, good portions, ready quickly/no long wait

Please do not waste your time and use this restaurant for a takeaway. After 2 and half hours waiting the food arrived very cold, undercooked and inedible. I did also find a hair in my curry so had to put it all in the bin straight away. I phoned them up several times but they have just strung me along and not given me a refund. Honestly, the most ruthless people I had to deal with in my life. They need to limit the amount of orders they accept as they clearly can not cope so please do not waste your time and order from somewhere else. I wish I can put 0 stars but have not the option unfortunately!

Ordered through just eat the food never arrived but saying it did, after waiting over an hour an a half I call the restaurant my food is not even been prepared. I asked how long will this order take otherwise I want to cancel they immediately canclled my order... I've waiting all this time... and no apology or explanation for this. I had a takeout last weekend and it was perfect. I had the same this weekend and the squid was over cooked and chewy. The rest was lovely I think with the squid you never know what your going to get. It’s very hit and miss.

Wrong order and a really horrendous amount of sugar syrup/salt combo in vegetable dishes. Deeply patronising and cynical food prep. Food belongs on pier candy sticks so long as you don’t care if it’s also the wrong order. How to totally trash decent fresh vegetables. My teeth are ACHING from the sugar. Gross

Not great, rice arrived still in some sort of easy cook bag, food wasn't particularly hot, and the whole thing arrived suspiciously quickly for how far I live from the place. Pad Thai was decent, but wouldn't order from them again

We ordered from Deliveroo- two sides, a curry and some coconut rice. Everything arrived cold, which was so disappointing, and the curry mainly consisted of very large chunks of strange green potato? Instead of coconut rice they delivered egg fried rice- which as I don't eat eggs was especially awful. Frozen spring rolls from co-op would have been better. A disappointing waste of food and money. We will return to using our usual local thai in future

They forgot to give us satay sauce with our order of satay chicken. Said they would compensate us with a satay chicken on our next order if we called up to remind them. We called to remind them, they acknowledged it on their records, agreed to send the satay but when it arrived it was not included. Can't be bothered to chase them any further.

Amazing food in a beautiful restaurant, the prawn tempura (starter) was the best prawn dish I have ever tasted anywhere in the world. I had the Cashew Duck as a main course and it was fantastic!

I rarely review but this was just the oddest tasting Thai food, overcooked rice and the strangest tasting panang curry. I know, it happens from time to time, there might be a different chief etc. but called the restaurant and the chap was both defensive and unhelpful and to be honest pretty rude actually. No customer sevice which was sad :(

Thai pad Thai usually delivers quality, and I cannot recommend the Penang curry enough. But this time I’m so disappointed, and only 3 stars because of past excellent experiences. I ordered the tofu pad Thai through Uber eats, and after waiting over an hour (which I wasn’t too fussed by, food still came right at the end of the estimated delivery time), but it is honestly the most tasteless meal I’ve had in a while. Have had to add all my own sauces and seasoning to make it bearable.

I ordered a Phad Thai & honestly such a beautiful dish true representation of the dish. Generous portion, arrived hot in container. Will certainly be ordering more x

Totally disappointed with this restaurant. I had food poisoning and when I told them basically they called me a liar, I was just calling to tell let them know but they got well upset, zero professionalism and obviously bad hygiene.

Thai Pad Thai is our go to Thai restaurant in Brighton. Authentic menu, beautifully fresh ingredients, very well priced food. Stir fried cashew nuts with Tofu is my absolute favourite dish, my partner has the stir fried cashew nuts with chicken. Portion sizes are big. Food is so tasty. I also love their sweet corn cakes. Delicious food. Fast delivery. Highly recommended

terrible food. even worse customer service. ordered prawn toast which was oil sogged and contained 0% prawns for £5.95. called up to ask if they would refund it. blankly refused and angrily put the phone down. won’t be ordered again and highly recommend others to try somewhere else to avoid disappointment.

It used to be a good thai. I myself rated it with 5 stars some time ago. Things have definitely changed. I recently had a dish that should have had prawns in it. I counted 3, which is quite disappointing when you pay over 10 pounds for it. Hopefully things will change again.

Had our first delivery and we were impressed with the menu and the quality of the food. Had stir fry chicken in oyster sauce and Massaman Curry with seafood. Overall, quite nice.

I found this place when looking with fading hope for a Thai place that did the salads I remembered from my favourite Thai pub in London. They delivered quickly and the duck salad was everything I hoped it would be. Chicken satay was also excellent, authentically Thai rather than copying the Chinese version, which I also love but is different. Repeated this experience a few times since. They are always quick and friendly and the food, though not the cheapest, is excellent value for money.

Probably the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Green curry was tinned veg and bamboo shoots in coconut milk. No basil, no chilli, no fish sauce, no lemongrass. Pad Thai had tomato purée and carrots. Please avoid

Después de gastar 40 por una entrega que no apareció, me dijeron repetidamente que me pusiera en contacto con deliveroo, pero no me dieron detalles sobre cómo hacerlo y me trataron como un inconveniente.

Food was amazing. Service was great. They made changes to a dish on request. I'd go back and order the same thing it was that good. Lovely atmosphere inside, you can tell its a popular place. They managed to fit us in even though we didn't book. 10/10 would recommend :)

I was shocked with the sticky rice order. It was over £3 when i got it home, I opened the foil container and it was boil in the bag. No kidding it was flat and some of it stuck to the bag. Sorry first time and last. Never seen that before

Tasty noodles picked up on the way home, huge portion, along with gyoza which were perfectly cooked. Well priced, friendly and quick service. Will return!

Pedimos un take away de Thai pad Thai y optamos por recogerlo. Tengo algunas alergias, así que siempre estoy un poco nervioso por conseguir algo para llevar. Sin embargo, no debería haberme preocupado, ya que el personal con el que hablé fue increíblemente servicial y comprensivo. La comida estaba absolutamente deliciosa. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Sorry guys, your TumYum soup was flavourless. It tasted like stock with chicken and mushrooms. None of the other elements I would expect were present. Where was the chilli? Where was the fish sauce? No tomatoe? Almost no lemon grass? Could barely taste any limes?

Do not use this restaurant for takeaway orders. After 2 and half hours they finally called to say they were busy and it would be another 30 minutes until they could deliver, by then it was past 10pm. We tried again and again to call them but could nit get through. They need to limit the amount of orders they accept as they clearly can not cope.

Ordered takeaway earlier and have to say, they did me a very delicious vegan Panang curry! Perfect consistency to the curry and not overly sweet like a lot of places... and most importantly, it's actually spicy! Crisp, nicely cooked vegetables too. Overall, I give Thai Pad Thai full marks. Highly recommended. :)

I ordered take away food from Thai Pad Thai through an app. The app had a glitch and gave the restaurant my previous address. When I called and explained they sent us fresh delicious piping hot food to replace the first undelivered order, at no extra cost. We had Thai Green Curry, which was really tasty. The mix up wasn’t their fault, so it was really good of them to replace our food.
