Haven't been to Thai House for a decade and it is still absolutely exceptional. Food is gorgeous and fresh and staff are so friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

The staff were lovely..service was prompt and the food was delicious. We were celebrating my son passing his driving test and will definitely come again .x

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. It was a birthday meal for our son with a group of family and friends. It was lovely to try different foods as my husband and I have never eaten Thai food before. Quick service and lovely waitresses,we had a great time. Thank you to the waitresses who explained how to say certain words. Sunday 14/01/24

Thursday night, £27 per person, all you can eat menu. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy a wide variety of dishes. The food was delicious. We will be back. Thank you.

I was very disappointed with the whole experience of being at this restaurant. As someone with food intolerances I tend to go for vegan options as I know there’s going to be nothing that I will react to but the items on the vegan menu are overpriced and very small portions. It cost about £20 for vegan steak and rice. The ‘steak’ came with a tiny bit of pepper and onion and only got two small steaks per portion, it was not worth the price paid at all. The customer service was appalling. My partner asked for a vegan version of a meal that is advertised as on the menu as having a vegan version available but was told it wasn’t vegan and to pick something else. The waitress then stood there and told my partner to hurry up twice! I wish we had simply walked out at that point due to the rudeness. We weren’t asked if we wanted drinks and my partner ended up having to go and ask for drinks. Everything cost £45 in the end and we left hungry so had to go and buy food to eat from the nearby shops. We will never be coming back here again.

We’ve eaten at Thai House on numerous occasions over the years and have always enjoyed our visits. Despite the best efforts of the fantastic staff it’s unfortunate the restaurant is beginning to show signs of wear and tear. Some of the serving dishes used on our table were chipped and the table settings were worn. The rest rooms require attention too. We thought the prices no longer represent value for money. I do hope that, what was undoubtedly the best Thai Restaurant in Hull, is able to return to it’s pre-Covid excellence.

Early evening meal. Great food. Got my favourite (pad kee kao) which I really enjoyed, good portions sizes too! I will be back.

the atmosphere is lovely. i went for my friends 20th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the decor. the thai red curry was very coconutty, and the that wings were bland and looked unappetising. I reccomend any other thai place over this in all honesty. the price doesn't justify the flavour

Went for the first time on Sunday evening. Absolutely blown away by the whole place. Amazing. The food was so good, the staff were very attentive and prices very good. Will definitely be returning to try the bottomless menu. The big bonus was that they also do takeaway!

Without a doubt, this is the best authentic Thai restaurant around! We’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants and this one is second to none! On our visit this evening we opted for the bottomless menu which we’ve never tried before but wanted enjoy some different dishes that we wouldn’t necessarily choose. The food was outstanding with really good portion sizes. Excellent service as usual. I’d say this is our favourite restaurant in Hull. 😊

The food here is excellent- I highly recommend the all you can eat menu available Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday I believe. The drinks can be fairly pricey and the service is inconsistent. However, it's fantastic for couples and larger parties provided you're not in a rush.

We chose to spend our 5th wedding anniversary at Thai House and they went above and beyond to make it a special evening. Truly authentic Thai cuisine with attentive service. Can’t wait to go back again ☺️

Lovely menu, great service and most importantly wonderful food!

Tasty food, well cooked. The mixed starter for 2 was great, so many tasty morsels. Main courses were tasty. A one star chilli rating is sufficient for someone whose tolerance to heat is low. Service was fantastic, really friendly and helpful.

Kitchen closed at 9pm, so if you wanted a sweet you had no chance

Midweek so very quiet but fantastic food and service

Gorgeous, fresh food which was beautifully presented with flexible, smiling, unhurried service. I honestly can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Hull. The restaurant itself is pretty and modern with clean floors and toilets and lovely lighting. It was quiet and relaxing. Wow!!!

Food was delicious and beautifully served. Good variety on the menu and very obliging about changing meals to accommodate different tastes. Very efficient and polite service.

Had a fab meal here off the all you can eat menu. Much prefer choosing from the menu and getting it cooked fresh to buffet style. Staff were lovely.

Starters were nice. Main meal was awful. Ordered crispy duck and crispy seaweed for new years collection. Duck was awful. Not crispy seaweed, other then limp salad on the side. For the price we paid it was awful. It was supposed to be a lovely treat. Really put me off returning. Which is a shame because its normally really good food. Edit - thai house contacted me to apologise and offer money back. Which I appreciate will change my review ro reflect this.

Went to try out the bottomless mean and couldn’t get enough. All such fresh food, curry’s where lovely and couldn’t fill up enough on starters 10/10 definitely would reccomend!!

I’m never disappointed when eating at Thai house but I’m never blown out of the water either. Tasty food, reasonable price, excellent location and good service but not quite as good as Hull’s other Thai offerings. Will always eat here but will never be my first choice.

Beautiful food and the staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of gluten free options for coeliacs like myself. We always go for the bottomless menu on a Sunday evening. Food is always piping hot and with lots of fresh veg. Cannot recommend enough 😊

This was my first visit here and first time in quite some time having Thai. We went when it was their all you can eat menu. It’s bit like tapas, small plates and you can just keep ordering. It was good for someone like me who wasn’t sure what I would like so I could try different types of dishes. Really nice inside, large selection on the menu. Really enjoyed it and I look forward to visiting again

I love going to the Thai House, you are given delicious crackers on arrival and the food is always georgeous and care is taken that it looks lovely too.

An absolutely gold mine for vegan dining in Hull. A huge portion of their dishes can be tailored and offered vegan friendly without any compromise of flavour. Consistently excellent and always lovely service. 100% recommend

I absolutely love Thai house! I've been here plenty before and I always get the same dish because it's delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food comes very quick and the atmosphere is great. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Hull.

If I could give an extra star I would. Absolutely delicious meal tonight, I cannot fault it in any way. The staff were lovely, so friendly, and helpful. I wanted one of the spicier curries but not as spicy, they made it mild for me. (Thankyou) I had a dumpling soup to start it was so good, I then had the mixed seafood curry. Fresh food reasonable priced I will 1000000% be back again soon

I cannot fault this resteraunt in any way! The service was fantastic. We were 15 minutes late due to parking issues but it was no problem, we were quickly seated and our drinks order taken. There was so much to choose from. I had a dumpling soup to start and I could of just had bowls of it it was one of the nicest things I've ever had! I then had a mixed seafood curry, it had 3 chilli's next to it but the waitress said she could make it a bit milder for me. It was again delicious, it was a creamy coconut type curry the prawns, squid and mussels were fresh and tasty. Veg had a bit of a crunch which personally I like. My friend had the tempura veg starter and sweet and sour veg again that was fresh and full.of flavour. I cannot wait for another trip over the bridge for a meal here. The staff especially the 2 ladies at the desk were lovely and chatty. Thankyou for a wonderful meal 😋

This is one of our favourite restaurants & we have always had great food & excellent service here. Last night we had another great meal & I hadn’t realised till now that I’ve never done a trip advisor review. We find the staff to be really friendly & we were served by a lovely waitress called Morgan she really is an asset to the restaurant. We highly recommend the Thai sausage starter it has a real kick

Real authentic Thai experience!

Steak was cooked to perfection. Very tender indeed

Had the set menu and enjoyed everything on it. We weren't rushed at all and the service was very good.

Had a real bad experience, I ordered a take away Phad Thai the chicken tasted like it had been cooked and left in the fridge for a few days, the rice noodles were like elastic beens, very chewy and the sauce was very bland indeed. 10 pounds for that horrible little portion is very high even if they cared about serving quality food. There's one down Newland ave that's a lot better. I'll be sticking with that one in the future. If the owner reads this I'd like to suggest you use fresh ingredients and remember, people are paying a high price for your food so put some effort into making a nice dish. Honestly, the little Phad Thai kit you can buy from aldi is 100 percent better than yours.

Far too expensive for very ordinary food. We won't be back.

Been going here for years on and off, went there last night but felt it was a different place altogether. Firstly the tables looked bare... And scruffy... No placemats or cuttelery placed... The mixed platter starter was not the usual... Odd battered veg and fruit.. Weird. The main was plain... But seemed more normal than the starter. The xed veg was just onion and peppers... Won't be rushing back there now. Very disappointed... I live 50miles away... So that's the love I had previously... No more.

Tasty food with warm friendly welcome and great service

We'd been meaning to visit for a long time so when a valentine's meal came along we took our chance. Excellent food, excellent service and excellent value. The unlimited menu was on, so smaller portions but loads of choice. We are both vegan and there wasn't much that hadn't been veganized just to make our lives easier.

Good points - The food was lovely and enjoyed the banquet and the free prawn crackers as this was a family birthday celebration. Bad points - customer service was appalling, a young girl who had no customer service experience at all , not sure how old she was but looked too young to be serving us in this restaurant. At the end of our meal we paid our bill but was told we still owed money which they was very adamant about, we checked everything with them what we had ordered and this was sorted at the till, which we didn’t owe anything as this was their mistake. On leaving the restaurant we had this young girl come over to us from the restaurant in the street and told us to come back as we had not paid for a bottle of wine , this was very bad service as we had not even had a bottle of wine but she told us she remembered taking an empty bottle of wine away from the table, at this point we was fuming and went back inside to check what was going on, At this point looks like one of the owners came to check the bill again as we explained that we did not have a bottle of wine and again this was their mistake after looking at the bill. Not sure if Thai house is under new management but we did visit here on many special occasions but after this performance will not be visiting again. Very disappointed !

My favourite restaurant! I love eating out and have tried most of the restaurants in Hull and Leeds and some further afield, but nobody else can take the top spot. The staff are always absolutely lovely, the food is always phenomenal, the vegan options are amazing. I've been coming for years and it is always the same quality. Big ups Thai House 💕

Really enjoyed the offer of £20 for all you can eat from a set menu. The food came in Tapas size portions which was perfect as you can try more of the amazing dishes. Thai House loses a point as i though the drinks were very overpriced and that makes me think twice about coming back. Soup was the star 'Tom Yum'. Wow, flavors were bursting in my mouth.

We used to go here a lot a few years back..it always seemed busy and with a great atmosphere...the decor has changed changed lot since I was last in and IMO its not done it any favours...the food was still good but the place seems to have lost it's soul....

Terrible attitude from you the waitress. Literally ignored us when we explained what we wanted. 3 wings in a £8 portion of wings and tasteless dishes so definitely waste of a meal out. Also you pay extra for salt and pepper chips but they are just normal chips with salt snd 3 slices of spring onion!

We visited in August to celebrate my youngest daughter's A level exam results. Over many years it has been a family favourite because of the huge range of options (including vegetarian and vegan) it has. It was the first time we had visited since covid and it was as good as ever with an excellent variety of food and brilliant service. Great to be back.

Today had the boozy bottomless brunch all you favourite food sized for you to try lots of different dishes. Good drink selection and our glasses were never empty, great service, very attentive and fabulous value. Would recommend to all our friends and will do if again in the future

Worst service we ever had in England! We were recommended this restaurant by many people. We came. Got the meny. Nobody was taking our order. It seamed very very unorganized. Many waitresses was walking by us but impossible to get eye contact. After 15 min we stopped a waitress and asked to order. We order a dinner for 2. We waited for the main course 1 h!!! We were so close to leave. But the clock was 21.20, to late to change restaurant. We asked for NO SPICY and NO TOFU. In the all the 3 main courses it was tofu. And one of them were so spicy so we could not eat it. We told the waitress right away and she asked us: What do we do now? And then she was just standing waiting for us to take a decision. It was hard becuse we were so hungry. Waiting for them to make new food for us felt like torture. She offered us to bring one more dish with no tofu. It was kind but this whole experience destroyed our night. Really really terrible. No discount when we paid. Unbelievable. We also got a dirty plate. The main food was tasty and well cooked but the service was the worst I have experienced. I don't recommend this place, if you still want to try. , order TA.

I regularly buy delicious take away Thai curries from this restaurant, but it is even better for an intimate sit down meal. If eating in I recommend the Phak Tempura started (tempura battered vegetables) are a great starter when straight from the pan, but don't retain their crispness in a takeout carton. There is good catering for vegetarians and vegans but do make sure you tell them - a tofu or Quorn dish may sound suitable but it will probably contain fish sauce, a staple Thai ingredient, unless you ask them to leave that out. The dining experience is great for couples and fours, although it is not my favourite restaurant for larger groups. Some food is for sharing but most is per person from the extensive menu. Set meals are also available. The restaurant is licensed. They serve Singha and Tiger beers, appropriately, and I have enjoyed a very elegant gin cocktail at Thai House.

Food was gorgeous! Menu was huge so much choice, service was excellent and a large variety of veggie meals, there was 10 in our party and all food came out together too, def recommend the chilli fries

I had a meal here yesterday evening as part of a pre-booked party of eight. Despite the restaurant being less than half full we were crammed into a corner behind a pillar. It felt very claustrophobic. I had walls on two sides of me and...

Nice food but they make it a bit tame to suit local tastes, you can ask for full flavour but that seems an unnecessary complication. Good service, friendly and attentive staff.
