TGF Pizza in St Albans

So, Monday I get to work and realize I've left my lunch at home. No problem, just down the road is TGF Pizza. The website was easy to navigate and the menu looked appetising. So I went with the meat ball pizza to collect at midday. The restaurant looked clean and the man behind the counter was polite and helpful. Once back at work I opened the pizza and took a bite. Yes it was every bit delicious as it looked, I'm so impressed with TGF. I'll definitely be back for more. Thank you guys!

Always a good place to order for pizza. I've been going here for years and the staff are very friendly. The prices have always been low.

If you wish to experience a good, high quality, and tasty pizza, then TGF is the place to go. A good portion size , ingredients, and the style are all in one, and shows you the authenticity of the food. Tried it for three times, and will definitely try many more times to come.

Delicious pizza, and delivered hot. We also had Shiraz Salad and very good corn cobs. The service was excellent and delivered very quickly. Highly recommend TGF Pizza.

As a Muslim customer, I thought I was ordering from a halal place only to be told if its not mentioned in the comment when ordering, they won't give halal pepperoni or whatever was selected because they have two different pepperoni haram one and halal one lol who an earth would think a resturant serving both types. This is the first and last time I'll be ever ordering from them because they could not tell me if they served me the halal or haram pepperoni on my pizza!

Ordered the four tubs bundle with Ben and Jerry’s cookie bites and only received two tubs, the people at the store apparently told the delivery driver they contacted me and I said it was okay for me to only receive two tubs so not only do the give you half your order they also lie about talking to there customers about the order being half but at least the Uber eats delivery driver was nice and friendly

Pizza was banging. Very friendly and will be back when next working in the area.

Ordered a pizza on just eat to come for 7. Pizza came at 7 and was piping hot. Perfect service

My daughter ordered pizzas for my other children 20 mins after eating the pizza my 17 year old daughter was sick twice then my other children were too there response to my concern about contaminated food and food poisioning was ignored

Food wasn't cook and contaminated as I've just outed and my sister we have had food posioning from this place do not recommend

I ordered pizza’s for my son’s birthday party and I have never tried there place because I don’t live in that area. Pizza’s were so good my guest all loved it and staff where really friendly and helpful.

We were looking for big name pizza delivery but they all had 2-3 stars. Tgf had 4 stars so we gave them a go. We weren’t disappointed. The pizzas were tasty and a good size. Everyone enjoyed them. The food was late by 10mins for the given arrival time.

It’s not Italian style but for this type, it’s a very good pizza.

Absolute Smegmass, the shop is absolutely filthy, the cheese on the pizza must be made from bossman's smeg. One fella even had his bare feet out, handling the food with his toes! another geeza was picking his nose and the proceeded to handle the food! absolute shambles of a pizzeria, i strongly recommend 5 stars all round

Pizza was nasty and cold and the toppings tasted sour pizza came an hour late. St Albans really does have disappointing restaurants

I had a call after trying to deliver to the wrong house, I explained where my house was and they continued to say the same thing over and over again ‘open your door, you’re not at the door, I’m at your house’ I kept saying they weren’t outside my house and they kept repeating the same thing back to me. When he finally got to my house he pretended he couldn’t speak a word of English, after speaking with me fine on the phone. Called to tell them what had happened and they also pretended they couldn’t understand me and kept passing the phone around, even though they’d took my order and my money fine.

Nice quality vegetarian pizzas, clean place, never had any problems here.

Delicious pizza, i can feel that ingridients are fresh, and the crust is well baked. And flthe best part is that. THEY KNOW HOW TO CUT PIZZA! Which is uncommon even at dominos. Very good.

Arrived on time and hot, 1 of the 3 pizzas we ordered was the heavenly loaded with sweetcorn more sweetcorn than anythink else hardly no Chicken but apart from that the others were fine..

I have ordered 2 pizzas with beef but instead of beef they ve put ham .. if you dont have beef do not replace it with ham without askin your customer !

Service is about delivering what you order well, polite personnel and in a timely manner, rarely do this firm fall short of five stars. Tonight I had a mistake on my delivery and the response was nothing more than extraordinary, in light of what harpenden dwellers call service, which usually is average at best. Not only were the personnel polite and efficient when raiseing the slight error, correction confirmed, apologies accepted, ten minutes later, further call to reconfirm the correction and super fast deliver, brilliant job tj’s,

The pizzas here are lovely and very good for money. The staff are friendly and they deliver too. Parking is a bit difficult.

Very disappointed - stuffed crust was hollow, far too salty, barely warm and the garlic butter had a bizarre after taste - it tasted reheated - avoid like the plague - we will be!

I ordered via Just Eat with w 2 hour lead time, the food turned up 5 minutes early and pipping hot. Good value compared to Dominoes, who also had an order from me at the same time (teenagers demanding different favourites) turned up late and cold. Good value and good quality

Just ordered a 10 inch18-meat combo with extra cheese for 12.45. The pizza was 9.5 inch with no sign of extra cheese, VERY thin crust, and soggy! Don't waste your money! You'd be far better off going to Tesco and spending 2 quid on one of their frozen ones.

Used to be good fresh pizza. Now it's just another nasty pizza shop in st albans. Nothing fresh about it.. tbh

Good pizza for St Alban's were decent takeaways are a scarce.. Had food from here several times and have been satisfied with my meal.

If you’re reading the reviews to see if you should order from this place, look no further. I like their thin crust pizza, really crispy and very generous toppings. Delivered really early and piping hot. Great quality! Pleased to have found this place

Although some of the toppings were stuck to the box, the pizza was loaded with toppings and tasted good. The delivery man was really polite too.

Unfortunately the delivery was a wild goose chase and I had to direct the driver several times due to their sat nav taking the complete wrong way, food ended up being best at warm on verge of cold but of course being hungry it was demolished.

Chicken was left to sweat in its pot, so wasn’t crispy. Put way to much topping on the pizza so it was a bit soggy

I have used them for over a year now. always hot food delivered extra fast. Last night the delivery guy forgot my Fanta and I told him it was ok (I would have got it as an extra on my first order) but he drove back with my Fanta anyway! Really great service

The driver was arssey because he went to the wrong address and tried to blame it on me, I was charged twice because the first time I ordered the restaurant cancelled but took payment when they said they wouldn’t. I’m getting to the stage where I’m not going to order delivery from here because they either turn up to early when I’m not in and I’ve set a time for delivery or 1 hour late.

I had to call, they couldn’t find my address? Until the guy in the shop out it in the sat nav and then found it right away?! He also talked over the top of me a and was rude! The pizza was horrid! They chopped up garlic in massive inedible chunks that made your eyes water! And the sausage bites were awful! Over cooked and tastes like rubber! All in all an awful experience and I won’t be going back

Good food, just expensive delivery

This is a bad taste and quality pizza, I am wondering if the people who give five star to this place have ever been to eat outside of the village.

Horrible food, pasta not cooked, Bolognaise smothered in cheese. Rank pizza, wrong base. Frozen cheesecake. all round rancid sending report tomorrow. Save yourself £20 and do not buy here.

We ordered from here as people we have used previously for delivery decided they no longer delivered to the same address. The order turned up quickly and was both piping hot and tasty bar the garlic bread which had no taste of garlic whatsoever. Of note was there was a decent amount of topping and the price was much better than most pizza outlets. Would use again.
