Absolutely shocking what I sore today in Tesco cafe They left a young girl to serve people clear the tables and take food out The queue was massive as well the food was getting cold as was sat there for ages and people ended up getting there own food Our food came out absolutely freezing after waiting 35 minutes for it NOT IMPRESSED TESCO Sort it out

I always shopped in tesco but when I bought electric and it was only 2 weeks old also i had proof of purchase they refused to return. That Indian lady on customer service was very rude to me and I said call the manager he as well said to me i will kick you out that you will never come back. I will never set my foot in that tesco.

Fed up of having to complain about the state of DIRTY toilets

In space of 5 minutes a girl with blonde hair told customers 3 times that there is 45 minutes waiting time, like she was annoyed with the fact people are waiting. The cafe was not full at all, still avaliable tables, and it was a lunch time. You are serving ready food that needs to be fried up in advance, 45 min to make beans, eggs and hash browns? One staff member to save the customers and bring the food?

It’s a bit too large It takes ages to find things especially when one item is too my far left then the next is way down to the other side. The choices are fantastic but you will need 2 or 3 hours in there.

It's is the peverbial big store with a comprehensive range of food and own brand clothing on the easy access mezzanine floor along with the cafe

Tesco was absolutely packed with everyone doing Christmas food shopping today, but WELL DONE TESCO! Members of staff at every self-service checkout helping with packing, payments and problems, really sped up the process. Very good stock levels and all staff, even the trolley collectors were working really efficiently. How refreshing to see some forwards planning and thought having gone into staffing levels. I am usually an online shopper and dreaded this trip, but no need! Thank you and happy Christmas to you all when you eventually finish!

Their cafe has gone right downhill, dirty tables, floors. One person serving, just getting a coffee takes forever. Tesco get a grip, if you can't offer a good service then don't offer the service at all.

Ordered vegetarian options (hot food, priced £6.50) and the quality of food was a joke. Not fit for consumption. Baked beans - cold Hash brown - cold Meat free bangers - cold Toast - cold Mushroom - cold Not money's worth. Felt sickly after eating this worthless food. Service given by staff was okay hence giving one star but for food it's zero Will never go there. 😮‍💨

Clean tidy store well stocked good parking with 2 large car parks pleasent staff opticians chemist. lots of other shops in same site with well worth a visit

A one stop shop for everyone, from clothing to grocery from barber to opticians all in o e place. You can also find other famous brand just opposite to Tesco Extra

Basically the management are not interested I complained to head office about miselling was promised that Colin the manager would contact me and never did Rude ignorant staff who basically do not care about customer service

Pulled off the motorway to use this place, open hours set by the business within the last few weeks said midnight yet clearly it was closed at 22:15. Poor management.

I like this Tesco because all products available and for food and drink they open till 12 mid night

I won’t be shopping here again. The last time I was there, the wheel of the trolley I was using locked up as I was exiting the self checkout area causing it to slam into my abdomen. An employee and a security guard came over but only seemed to be interested in examining my receipt before walking away without any explanation or making sure that I was okay.

It's bigger than you think, two floors, one it's a clothes floor and the main floor is Tesco itself. Staff are friendly and professional, pricing on food is good and the layout of the store is alright.

Great grocery shop with everything you need for the most part. Shelves are always well stocked, and they have a half decent variety of product with most items. The staff are quite helpful on the floor, though it always seems the checkout staff are pretty miserable with some carry a nice helping of attitude. Prices are pretty average for a Tesco, and there is easy parking outside the shopping mall. Their shopping trolleys require a pound for use.

Such a waste of space! Shopped in much smaller tesco much better stocked! To not be able to buy basics like i.e. spices is a joke, hardly any choice of produce or non existent but ailes and ailes of junk food! Absolute joke!

Big store with a huge range of products. There is a phone shop and opticians at the rear of the store. Up the escalator you have clothing and a cafe. Breakfast is nice and reasonably priced. A regular venue for us.

I found it abit tricky to navigate but has everything you would want in a little shop a few minutes away from home!

This used to be an amazing shop with everything you could need or want. Now ... well... now it's a JOKE! The staff are mostly nice but very understaffed. The shelves are often low on stock by 7 pm. The tills are non-existent, and the self check outs are minimal. They have removed multiple entrance and exit points, often leaving only the self check out point to get in and out !STUPID! Making getting in using a wheelchair or mobility aid extremely hard. It is fully accessible for wheelchair users lift to upstairs clothing, disabled toilet (baby changing area, no adult changing) but be warned the floors are wet through all of the time, slippy and unhygienic as sin ! I won't use their toilets at all. All in all I refuse to use this store anymore and travel to Hamilton tesco instead. Tesco management and the running of this stor has dwindled from excellent to utter rubbish in such a short time frame. Get your act together management and show both your staff and customers a bit of respect as well as decent service .

I walked into Tesco's today. And I went to buy a bottle of Baileys I had my NHS uniform on. Went to buy it they said I need my ID even though you're got to be 18 to work in the NHS. Those people who did that deserve to have a warning. And she laughed behind my back.

I popped to this store this evening for a loaf of bread. I mean how hard can it be ? I arrived at the store a couple of minutes after 10pm. Can’t be a problem, surely ? Until very recently this was one of the biggest Tesco stores in the UK and one of the flagship 24 hour stores. However. There was no bread on the shelves. After about five minutes wandering around, I spotted some of the bread I wanted on one of the warehouse cages. Judging by the amount of loaves missing from the tray it had been here a while, waiting for the poor overworked, fraught night team to get to it. So, I had bread. I went to the till. Er. What till ? Not one manned till in the entire ginormous store. So against my better judgement, I went to the auto till because there was no other option. Scanned and paid for the loaf, doing your job for you. Oh whats this ? No receipt available, despite the myopic lady standing staring at the terminal base in case it moved. So, not only did I have to effectively stock the shelves for you, then run my purchase through the till for you, but I couldn’t even have a receipt for my purchase. Tesco, get a grip. Employ some more night team staff, because quite frankly you are taking the mickey out of them. Next, employ at least someone to operate a till, you’re quite opening ripping the mickey out of your customers too, and finally….. if you are going to go down the technology route, at least get the single me,mof staff to refill the printer! I won’t be back.

Went to this shopping centre a few days before Christmas, only been in there 2 minutes before I was verbally abused by some Neanderthal for no reason whatsoever, good start ! Continued to shop despite this incident. Bought quite a few items, items that hadn’t been vastly inflated (come on Tesco, you can do better than this). Anyway mostly food for my Christmas meals. Included in those items were a packet of Brussels. Cooked these in my main Christmas meal on Sunday. I don’t think I have ever tasted a Brussel sprout with practically no taste whatsoever, after cooking these sprouts they had turned lime green and almost opaque. I will never purchase this item again from your stores, they were awful. Other than the Brussels and being verbally abused it was an interesting experience. Sainsburys I’m on my way……….

Supermarket not bad . Helpful lady in the checkouts. Cafe was a joke though. Think I would still be waiting in the queue if I hadn't turned around and given up. Too slow .

Visited early around 5.30am today Wow never seen so much chaos and such disorganization!! Stock all on shop floor not on shelves!! FRESH, FROZEN,GROCERY, Staff being shouted at down shop floor !! Stock just being left and unattended!! OMG so many miserable looking staff!! You wouldn't believe it's Christmas🎄🎄 I don't know what (Sxxt show Tesco is running at B/Leys) To say B/Leys has gone down hill is absolute understatement!! After using self service checkouts (Both asian ladies just chatting away in there own lingo. I've never been MORE happier to leave Tesco.👍 Not all shopping completed as stock wasn't on shelves!!😔 So went to Tesco South Wigston. WOW 5 Stars guys staff look happier stock fully available much MORE of pleasent shop 5's✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️😊 Who ever fills Tesco Store Wigston should train or fill B/Leys store lead by example!!👍 DON'T GET COMPLACENT TESCO !! Horrible shop.Scruffy presentation of products,over priced and dirty.Massive queue at self service checkout was enough for me to walk out without bothering to purchase anything and drive to Sainsburys.This used to be a good store but seems to have lost its way.

Have removed cooked meat cheese and fish counters and a lot of the tills most tills are know self service

Great shop in almost every respect, some staff are excellent but others couldn't care less, lots of gossiping going on. However, today I had to defer buying three pair of trousers as they STILL do not open the changing rooms, for trying clothes on. Everywhere else does. Get with the program, Tesco!

The biggest Tesco I've ever seen. Large clothing section upstairs and the main ground floor area is massive. Main down side is finding stuff if you don't visit regularly. The couple of staff I dealt with on my visit were so very helpful.

Has everything you need great toy selection and home department… love Tesco clothes for the kids :) But the store shut at 8pm and says it’s open till 12am?? So slightly disappointed and thought had more time to shop

Rotten tomatoes bought this morning. Not only are prices being raised higher then inflation by Tesco. Selling rotten food. Can't afford to drive back to store to exchange. Standards are falling prices rising way above inflation.

A massive store that does everything ~ clothings, cafes, glasses, haircut, home stuffs, garden stuffs, DVD/BluRay, foreign holiday money, general supermarket stuffs & etc. Store provides hand sanitiser, wipes and cleaning sprays to clean trolleys. Store is always clean. As store is very big, don’t feel overcrowded. Staff is always polite & helpful. Plenty free parking with time limit.

Great but not always better than aldi

vegetables especially the Organic range are not very good quality

Update 20th July 2022. No refrigerated food. All fridges are out of action. Hopefully will be fixed by the weekend. Excellent Tesco. Two massive car parks. Stocks everything you could need. Also, a big plus having Wilko and other shops nearby.

Really poor customer service the store manager ruined my morning seemed in a very bad mood

So basically we went to tesco at 11.50pm and wanted just a few things to buy 11.58pm went to the till and the guy who was working at the self check out didn't let us buy stuff and said its closed and he was very rude aswell.what kind of customer service is this? I would never go there again!

We visited the cafe in this tesco's and it is one of the worst experiences of a cafe ever. The cafe was dirt with food on the floor so we should of left at this point but we were hungry so decided to stay, the food took 20 to 30 minutes as it didn't come out in one go, the chicken strips werr burnt but stone cold the chips were like rocks and cold, the tea was like dish water, the glasses that the cold drinks came with looked like they had never been washed and when we got new glasses they were not clean. Please avoid this place unless they can improve there cleanliness and definitely improve on there customer service.

It is a big Tesco shop where you can find clothes,food,opticians,coffee shop and a barber inside. Most important it is moderate busy and you don't wait on big queues like the other shops.

Usually quite good but on my last visit found the store too crowded and nobody stopping people going around without face coverings even though it was law .Al's when I got my shopping home found one of my mini pork pies had teeth marks and a chunk bitten out of one I didn't notice the wrapper had been opened

Good tesco, has everything one can imagine, gets quite busy on the weekends, courteous staff, well stocked aisles, what more can you ask for... Different cuisine ingredients easily available, so will recommend if you're looking for them...

Worst customer service i have ever had. Self scan ladies look like they have been chewing wasps. So rude and unhelpful. Cafe is an absolute joke too.

I shop here all the time, staff have always been good they do seem preoccupied at times but it don’t really matter at the end of the day they on there feet all day. Always plenty of stock.

Easy to find, just follow the trail of abbanoned shopping trollies that Tesco neglect to recover. The surrounding neighbourhood is full of them.

Self checkout staff have no interest in doing their job. I brought some headphones that needed to be taken out of the security case and every time I tried to get the ladies attention she was busy gossiping with another colleague. I don't want to get people in trouble but they were definitely not talking about work

Every time ask i for something age restricted they never have it in stock, there is never any out of stock labes nothing. Today i asked for something which said they had 3 in stock (have inform app) the man at checkouts was gone less than a minute came back claim they didn't have any either sort out you gap scan routines or actually be honest with your customers

I really don’t like to give negative review, but unfortunately the stuff In my experience over the year been really rude to me and ignorant they just don’t care , it looks like they are not happy with work they doing.

I would like to make a complaint about harassment I went through today at the Beaumont store in Leicester from the security guard in Tesco who even after stating to him I had the receipt for everything On my person and in my bag still said he was going to follow me if you want to check all the cameras in the premises and surrounding you will see me in a Dhl uniform so I stand out I want something done about this as I was more embarrassed to having him following me and every seeing him follow me than when my son as been screaming in the past

I was hope there today no one was regulating people. No one was keeping the 2 metre distance. Also staff were blocking oils with Cain case of Stark making it impossible to keep the 2-minute distance.

Used to be best place to shop not anymore. Attitude of management is very poor

I have nearly always enjoyed shopping here, lockdown has made differences, people do not wear masks and ignore social distancing. I have to make space for the ignorant but still enjoy shopping here. The staff are always polite and helpful and some are almost friends because I know so many of them for more than 20 years.

I asked to look at an i phone pro max with a view to buying it but was told the are not on display I then asked to see a note 20 ultra but was told that also was not on display so I couldnt look. I was going to buy one of them. I have now found a different place to purchase my phone. Thanks for nothing Tesco.

Very rude staff/security guards. 5 staff members shouting at a mother and chuld (who evidently was not stealing as she had a whole trolley of shopping on the conveyor belt). Bad customer service from Tesco

The store itself is great; open, easy to find things, areas are clearly labelled and covid safe. However, visiting the cafe upstairs with my family and my 7 month old son and we were appalled by the attitude received from staff. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a hold of their names but 2 women in particular: blonde hair, wearing pig tails serving food and another lady at the till with dark brown hair. They were rude, impolite and made me and my bubble uncomfortable. We had ordered food and when we went to check where our food was after waiting for 30 minutes (as other people had been served before me) the lady with dark hair spoke to us with little or no respect. Tables are eventually cleared but within my time here, I have not seen a tables being cleaned. All the other staff are able to wear their masks correctly but in the cafe, they failed to do so; wearing masks under their nose. I felt like this review was necessary as I want to inform tesco and other customers of what they have to come if they are to visit Tesco’s in store café. 27/10/2020

Dont do it!! My family went for a quick snack,dirty glasses(lipstick still on the glass) uncleaned table and the floor was disgusting.The lady (i say that loosely) that brought the food over to us was shouting at her work colleagues across the full length of the cafe using bad language!! with children about.Also not wearing a mask and when i asked her if i could have our glasses replaced she just grabbed them off me,walked off and we didnt get anyothers?.Im guessing from all the bad reviews that the management dont care or look at these reviews or this wouldnt keep on happening?? Never again!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! Absolutely disgusting service and certainly would not recommend. Staff not wearing face masks whilst cleaning tables around customers, which I must add that hardly any tables were clean! They were arguing with each out at the till, shouting and swearing whilst children were present Have escalated my complaint further as this is not acceptable. Very unprofessional Tesco!

Convenient for me. Choice and price good. Love to be able to scan as I go, no queuing! Most of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Good choice of food and home electricals. It's a shame people aren't wearing face coverings and aren't following social distancing. Perhaps avoid at busy times. Upon asking -Unfortunately staff can't ask why so many aren't followed government guidelines.

Doing my weekly shop when I was shocked to see numerous shoppers and members of staff not wearing masks. Members of staff turning a blind eye to shoppers wearing masks on their chins or not at all. One member of staff was preparing hot food and wasn't wearing a mask. Spoke to customer services where I was advised that Tesco's had issued a statement where they would not enforce this. Tesco are putting their customers at risk and also their own staff. This is a Leicester store and the low paid workers are generally BAME. I will spend my money where the Supermarket actually attempts to keep Shoppers safe. Profit before Lives Tesco!!

Dire customer service. Particularly rude checkout staff. Staff more interested in messing around making rude comments about waiting customers in their headsets as opposed to assisting customers. Must be shockingly bad store management in place to let the customer service be as dire as it is. The worst I’ve experienced anywhere in the U.K. Also - forcing customers to queue in alcohol aisle whilst waiting for checkouts which isn’t good promotion for children surely? (amongst other reasons) I mean, they took the sweets away from the checkouts for a reason didn’t they? Avoid if you can. Worth the extra distance to ALDI for a smile and even a “hello” from the checkout staff.

Due to this virus for health and safety reasons improve ur service when I was doing my shopping it was so scary no distance on Saturday it was lot of customers inside. It was like normal shopping Please for safety reasons weekend why ru taking lot of customers inside it’s risky for staff. Store is very good but due to corona they r not following rules. Salisbury is very safe. Iceland is safe as well.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff at your store and beaumont leys security for making my experience today so stress free, was really dreading it and it couldn't have been easier. Stay safe everyone.

Not the cheapest of the superstores, poor on customer service, staff definitely need good training on how to provide customer service, never get hello or have nice day at the checkouts. No one around the isles to ask for advice or information. Lots of online shopping staff with big trolleys in the way some days. Place require good make over on everything.

I come here quite regularly. Usually order the Bigger Breakfast (full English).Customer service is good. I can't comment if cooked food comes fast or not as I am never in a hurry and usually surfing the web on my phone before the food arrives. I've never had to wait too long.They have all the cutlery and condiments you would expect.If I was to nitpick.. the Bigger Breakfast used to offer a choice of grilled tomato or peeled tomatoes from a can (which I prefer). Now they only offer the grilled tomato. Bit disappointed about that hence 4 stars instead of 5As someone else mentioned, there are three or four toilets near the cafe entrance so that's goodIf you have a Tesco Clubcard, don't forget to present it when paying for your meal so you can collect points

The store it's self is great and the staff are professional. My star relates to the unsanitary conditions of the men's toilet. Cubicles in men's are out of order, there is filthy gunge in the urinals, it smells and you would think you was in a old Victorian public toilet, every time I have been the floors are wet and slippy. Probably some of it vandalism but the toilets need renovation and are letting down Tesco.

Used to use this cafe regular but it's safe to say I will not be returning again. Firstly waited 15 minutes in the queue (only 4 people in front of me) then met with BAD customer service. I believe the staff members name of "nicky" completely rude. Not even so much as an apology for the wait or even a polite "how can I help". The staff seem to think it is completely acceptable to shout at each other across the cafe regarding there duties not in the slightest bit professional. I ordered food to be sat waiting near on 20 minutes for this to arrive as well as other peoples food coming out first (who ordered after me) when I ask where my food is I am met with "yes iv got it here!" Asif it was completely fine that I had been waiting longer than those who ordered after me. No hair nets lots of face touching. sort it out Tesco!!
