Honestly THE nicest coffee I’ve ever had! Apparently it’s roasted locally - it’s called sleepers and it was so nice I went back in and bought 2kg of the beans!! A must try if you’re in the area

Called here on Sat on a classic car run in the area. Booked for tea/coffee and scones and wasn't disappointed even though sixteen of us arrived at the one time. Very well attended to by the staff who were very helpful. Sorry that we had booked the scones as the tray bakes on display looked as if they were to die for. Will call again, even though it is a distance from my home, to ensure that I have one, or two, of their tray bakes! May be closed in October as they upgrade the lane way to the cafe and butterfly house.

A really lovely lunch, healthy too - avocado on toast (very nice bread) served with leaves and seeds. Good quality green tea. Kids had the picnic option and homemade lemonade, which went down well. Reasonably priced, friendly service and lovely setting with freshly picked sweet pea from the gardens decorating the tables. Definitely recommend!

You can call in here and not pay to go to the butterfly house - so call in if you are passing by, The coffee shop has a nice feel about it - lots of wood and outdoor seating area - it feels a bit tropical. They have a nice selection of cakes and drinks. They also do some savouries and also made to order pancakes. I don't think they do sandwiches. We had lovely hot chocolates and cakes. I would like a bigger cup but that's just me. Not sure if they have a sign from the road about the coffee shop - its very reasonable and nice for a wee treat in a lovely area if you are passing by - don't forget you can park and stop just for the coffee shop!!

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and freshly baked cakes and pastries daily. The orange cake was the best I've tasted - even took some home. Well worth a stop even if you don't visit the butterflies.

We live locally and finally got round to calling here today. We were delighted to find the tea rooms had been recently relaunched. I don't know what it was like before, but now there's a wonderful blend of rustic/shabby-chic. Lots of great ornaments etc but more importantly, excellent coffee, polite service and the most amazing selection of home baked cakes and traybakes. Light lunch is also available. I will definitely be calling back regularly to use the tea rooms as it's peaceful and accessible without paying to access the rest of the facilities.

This place has changed hands and is now the Gallery Cafe I think. The food choice is limited - scones, tray bakes, cake, toasties, sandwiches, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and lemonade. No cola and no juice for kids. Service was excellent. Thankfully they now take cards as that was my biggest bug bear last time! Here's hoping the food range will develop over the weeks as it's only just opened from Easter.

Went here on saturday 9th august, enjoyed an amazing thai curry with brilliant arts workshops in the gardens for adults and children. The peacocks sat with us and ate our beautiful lunch. Magical place.

Top notch Thai food in Ballynahinch! The lady who runs it is a star too. Recommend green and red curry and pad Thai. Tom Yum soup is stellar!
