Visited today, very friendly staff. Had GF, vegan and normal cakes available all looked fabulous and the ones we had were delicious. Lovely little tea/coffee shop, reasonably priced.

Visiting the area for a few days so stopped by Teacups. Received a lovely welcome and had lovely coffee and cake. We were told that they were new owners and had only been open for a week. It was very busy, so I hope this is the beginning of a successful business. It was very nice!!

Wondered how Tea Cups would manage social distancing - not easy with such an old building - it was perfect! From the no-touch sanitiser on the entrance table to the screens between the tables. The scones were just as yummy too. Just need to remember to book, as it is very popular, and has fewer tables at the moment.

We were given the gift of an afternoon tea for two at Teacups, and redeemed it today. Safety wise (everyone's concern at the moment), it was perfect. They really have thought of everything. Screens between tables; staff wore mask, and vizor. It was all well thought-through.The food was lovely; quantities just right, although we are still full even now many hours later...Home made cakes and sandwiches. Absolutely delicious. A proper cream tea. Care had been taken to ensure there was variety, and presentation was perfect. Tea in proper china cups and tea pot - the real McCoy.The staff (Lisa and Christine) were lovely too: attentive and genuine. We will definitely return.

This is a hidden little chocolate box type of tea room, nestled in the lovely quiet village of Woolpit Suffolk. Your cups of tea are served in large teapots ( China pottery ) and refilled if required. Hot food on the special board, and variety of lovely sandwiches, and not forgetting choices of homemade cakes. If you haven’t yet visited then put this on your bucket list.

Having a walk around the village and we find this lovely tea room. A lovely welcome and we sit and peruse the menu, two large hot chocolates and I had cheese and chutney sandwich and my wife had tuna and celery all served with salad garnish and crisps. The cakes looked lovely but resisted. If you are in the area you must give this place a try.

Small but cosy and quaint tea shop. I had broccoli and bacon quiche which was served warm with a salad and my husband chicken and bacon wrap. Both were delicious and freshly made as was everything. All the cakes were homemade too which you could see. We were staying on a caravan site down the road and so pleased we visited this tea shop and would come again if in the area.

One of the first places I went to when visiting the charming village of Woolpit for the first time was Teacups Tea Rooms. It is exquisite. Everything you would want in an old fashioned village tea room. The staff are very friendly, the service is excellent and the food delicious. It is housed in a lovely old building in the middle of the village and has a tiny museum upstairs. Round the corner is a church I had been waiting decades to visit as it has an incredible hammer-beam roof covered in carved wooden angels.

Tea Cups never ceases to delight! In a way, I'm only bothering to review it because there don't seem to have been any reviews in 2018, and I can't work out why not. Less than 5 mins from the A14, so easily accessible to many (very many) 000s of people passing through this bit of Suffolk. Make time, people!

Friendly welcome and offered an 'outside' table in the very small yard behind the property was accessed by walking through the kitchen. Our order not taken for 15 minutes and then 10 minutes after that I was informed that my dish was not available, food arrived another 10 minutes after that! The whole thing was well meaning but totally disorganised. Ham and egg muffin had a modest quantity of ham, the egg was a peculiar scrambled egg slab. The menu encouraged those wanting a sandwich to choose two fillings - my wife chose tomato and tomato, expecting a decent filling. The sandwich arrived with such a thin layer of tomato - I'd hate to see a single filling.

The only cafe open for lunch it was quite busy and given a choice of a table outside or inside on a warm day we selected the later only to be asked to walk through the small kitchen where food was being prepared. Seated in a tiny courtyard and somewhat out of sight we were forgotten for about 10 minutes when our order was finally taken. The sandwich when it arrived -Two choices of filling and not fancying any of the combinations I asked for tomato & tomato-was thinly filled and the accompanying crisps were very cheap versions. Our tea & coffee were not nice either.Dirty dishes were taken from tables and stacked on a range of weatherproof cupboards in the courtyard in full view of customers & when space allowed removed to the kitchen where they were hand washed in the sink.

Just stopped off for a quick lunch between appointments. The staff were very welcoming and the menu was varied, with a lovely selection of specials. The stilton and broccoli quiche was delicious, served with Waldorf salad and coleslaw and I would thoroughly recommend the warm ginger cordial. It reminded me of Enid Blyton's Famous Five when they partook of lashings of ginger beer! There was plenty of reading material available and I took a little time out to read about The Green Children - a story from which Babes in the Wood may have originated. When I'm back in the area I will call again.
