By far the best Briyani Chapli kebab and now the yummy wings! I crave this food and live so far but it’s so worth it, we drive for the takeaway as the restaurant is always so busy.I love the management. When we have visited with my daughter they give so much extra kindness! Hands down finger licking good! I find the prices reasonable! Better than tooting restaurant which is more local! Keep going! Bravo to you all

I have ordered kebab from Taste of Pakistan for a take away , while eating the kebab a big piece of stone cracked my tooth, I have called them and wanted to make a complaint and speak to the owner they have put me through manager shakeel , who started shouting and was thinking I am asking for compensation,in which I have explained that I am not here to ask for compensation but to warn them as I have broken / cracked my tooth someone else’s might does the same , or May swallow it , he was so rude and has no manners to how to speak to the customer ,when I ask him I want to speak to the owner he said no and in a rude way started shouting said whatever you want, do it but I will never let you to speak to the manager , I said to him I will write the review against you on Google for your behaviour he said don’t worry I know how to reply to you on Google that’s our everyday job , so that means whoever complaint they either delete their comment or may insult them , I am very disappointed from their service , though I have been there regular customer for over 5-6 years but very disappointed from shakeel and his Bad attitude and poor Customer service Pathetic service poor customer service

Ordered a takeaway from here , the food arrived in good time and everything was packed well. The food it self was delicious and we really enjoyed it. We will be ordering more in future.

Great food and staff as always. The owner/manager is very attentive and ensures his customers are satisfied which makes it so different from some Asian restaurants where staff/managers look like they're doing you a favour by serving food. Portions are generous and food has always been fresh and tasty. The place is always packed despite the extension. Some negative reviews here seem quite extreme which makes me question if they're genuine reviews. I initially went to TOP on recommendation from a family member and have since received recommendation from another person belonging to Peshawar who suggested their chappli kebabs were next best after Peshawar itself.

We were 4 people, and I thought we ordered quite a lot of food, but to my surprise we emptied everything. The food was soo good and satisfying, and the employees were all very warm and welcoming. We drove 40 mins to get there, and the trip was worth it. We will definitely go there again with even more peope so that we can order more items on out next visit.

Food was No good . So oily and salad was expired. Rice quality was 3rd class. Customer service was 3rd class. Extra food they give you boxes to pack by yourself . Cleanliness was unhygienic. Taste of Pakistan catered an event for us and the food was incredible! Everyone really enjoyed it, especially the amazing desserts.

We were in the area and decided to have Pakistani food. Fortunately, one of your reviewers had rightly mentioned RESERVATION is a MUST. Even at 1830 on a Sunday it was very busy. Food is exceptional. The freshly made afghan bread is superb....afghan tikka, chursi lamb karahi, chapli kebab all outstanding. Perhaps go for kabuli pulao over biryani (specially if you are also from Sindh like me). Friendly hosts and waiters made our first time at TOP very special. Both in terms of food and service, a hundred times better than long standing Eastenders like Tayyabs and LKH.

This is a long overdue review...I've been here a few times and the food is great. The chapli kebab, saji chicken and charsi karahis are spectacular. The owner of the restaurant is a true gent, and often walks around meeting diners and ensuring everything is good The only criticism I would have, is the place is soooo busy - however they recently extended to next door, which has alleviated some of this. As mentioned, great food - some of the best Pakistani food in London. I only wish we had such food around central London

First time coming here after hearing many good things. Walked in and it was very busy first was told need to book a table in advance but then the lovely gentlemen serving got me a table straight away and it was the only free table. Food came very quick service was efficient, good quality was on point and like the name taste of Pakistan I would say yeah it was and very homely taste. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and will come again to try other dishes no doubt.Also have had the chapli kebabs as takeaway on few occasions and no doubt one of the best.Can't wait for my next visit to try more. Food is just ok but the service is a massive let down. I have worked in the five star hospitality industry for over sixteen years, this place tops my list for bad service. The owner needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. Complained about the food quality but he insisted it was good taste. Chapal kebabs were dry, fry daal had bland taste. Both chicken and lamb karahis were ok, may be slightly on the greasy side. Waiter spilled yoghurt sauce on one of the members of our party, no apologies were offered. Whole experience was ruined by the owner constantly interpreting us finding an excuse to start an argument. Do yourself a favour and drive few miles further but choose a different place where you can have your meal in peace

So I came here with a client of mine who is autistic and has been going on for weeks for a decent curry.. so drove 2 hours as we live in bournemouth for this place and we were not disappointed. I went last night with my family & the food was outstanding MashaAllah. I rang beforehand to book the table & to ask what measures were in place regarding Covid, I was assured that they had followed the govt guidelines & had things in place to protect us the customer & themselves. I wasn’t disappointed, we felt very at ease & the hospitality was just humbling MashaAllah.The owner is such a good nice man Mashallah & may Allah bless him always because he looks after all his customers & his staff MashaAllah. I visited this restaurant with a friend of mine & I have to say it was the finest most tastiest food we had ever eaten. We thought we would try the chapli kebabs which were succulent & melt in the mouth we also had the lamb chops & they were mouth watering. We then ordered a chicken Karahi which was freshly cooked & it was bought out to us in good time sizzling hot with a huge large naan to accompany it... The staff were very polite & accommodating & the owner was very attentive & made sure our experience would stay with us, well I have to say it really has & we are going again this weekend. The food is very delicious . The workers are nice.We are their customer since 2014.I do order for home as well after eating there.This is the second time they do not pack order properly when asked he denied. I was charged extra.I went again with receipt to show him but he didn’t listen and started blaming me. I will not visit again. I recommend to check always before paying and check order before leaving. Later they just deny. I will not visit again.

Loved all the food here, especially the Sindi lamb biriyani, and the lamb karahi, plus huge Peshwari naan bread! Mixed grill sizzlers also good. And the salted lassi was terrific!

Brilliant food. Fresh and flavoursome! It does remind me of Pakistani restaurants in Dubai and Pakistan but with nicer food. It’s a little chaotic in there, but the staff are doing their best to serve and keep customers happy, it does however add to the charm of the place. And all the staff are very friendly! I recently got a takeaway from these mates. Really solid kebab and very authentic. My roots are Kashmiri and this really hits the spot. Even during these difficult times the quality hasn't diminished

We were refused once as we didn’t have a booking. The guy said to try again an hour later so we came back. It was still crowded but they managed to give us a table. It was well worth it. Had Mutton Karahi , Sindhi Chicken Biryani, Chapli Kebab, Mango lassi and that huge Afghani/ Peshawari Naan that hangs on the table. All tasted superb. Portions are very generous. Will definitely go there again after making a booking.

For those that know me call me a curry snob. Well I achieved my first ever meal from Pakistan cooked in hounslow, I can say this although it was a two hour drive from Portsmouth it was well worth the drive. Number369 hansworth road drive slowly because it can be easily missed.the Mann’s are the size of Viking shield and crispy I eat the lamb Karachi malai the rice was just thrilling. I reckon a month of visits I will have a better idea of the fullness of this fascination of this new region of food for me thank you tpm for the tip

Yes, you have to book. Yes, the place is heaving and you may have to wait a while or even have other customers queueing near your table as you eat. But that's because this is a small restaurant serving phenomenal food at a great price and, unsurprisingly, it's got a lot of fans. No, it's not fine dining. But did it ever claim to be? Plus, the owner is a legend. Visited for the first time this week (we will be back) and he couldn't have been nicer to us. Plus his responses to some of the more ludicrous reviews on here are priceless. Literally had me crying with laughter. I wish him and his team all the best and look forward to over-eating again at TOP, very soon.

People come from a long way away to sample the Taste of Pakistan experience. It really feels like a restaurant on the streets of north west Pakistan. There is range of open gas grills, minimal decor, lots of hungry locals wolfing down the outstandingly fresh and flavoursome food. We were made very welcome by Naz, who was obviously very proud of his establishment. Rightly so: excellent chapali (beef) kebab, unusual and very tasty tarka dal. Charsi karahi was outstanding. The only disappointment was the naan which was far too heavy: more quantity than quality. Go for the roti. Kabli pilau was substantial, but also fragrant and delicious. Prices are mid-range, but qood value for the standard on offer.

Maybe the best Pashtun cuisine in town - the Lamb Karahi was utterly fantastic, flavours just gorgeous! And the Sindhi Biryani was also fabulous. We also had the Mix Grill Sizzlers featuring a selection of chicken, lamb chops, sheesh kebab.With the huge nan bread, and salted lassi, the 4 of us had a wonderful lunch!Service and value great, very recommended

Saw this mentioned in the Observer Food magazine and plenty of good reviews on this site. It’s a seemingly chaotic and very busy environment, lots of large groups / families when we visited on a Sunday evening. The the food was very, very enjoyable with excellent efficient service all at a reasonable price, good choices of soft drinks only, we drank dohk and ate 2 different types of kebab, 2 karhai and the huge naan! Booking essential.

Went here with family and even though the setting is modest we were taken aback by the menu which is very much North and North west of Pakistan. Such a refreshing menu, not diminated by Karachi or Lahori food. Even the recipes seem to have that honesty and authenticity of Pashtoon and Baloch culture. Ravished the Charsi Karahi, Sijji and Chapli Kebab. The spice level is also low to moderate so my kids enjoyed too.

Been coming here on almost every trip to London. Taste has been consistent and very delicious. Highly recommend the Peshawari Chapli kebab, Charsi Karahi & Tarka Dhal. Owner is very friendly and humble, walks to every table asking about the food and offered tea after the meal.

What can I say. The owner is incredibly friendly. Offered tea and pilau rice for free. Food was excellent. In fact so good got takeaway for the family for dinner. Filling, but mostly just excellently cooked simple Afghani and Pakistani food to be proud of. Families came, business people and people wanting takeaway. All treated in a family friendly manner by the owner and looked incredibly happy with their food. I can it gets a bit crazy when busy, but it was a pleasure I intend to repeat regularly. Free, easy parking adds too given we are in London.

Phoned on the evening and was advised that a table will be free after 10PM. This is expected as you normally need to book 7 days in advance! Had to wait 20 mins as it was still packed even at this time. The food came quick enough though. The chapli kebabs and mixed grill were great. Lamb curry was delicious also. I like the idea that the chicken wings are cut so that flavours go into them. Lamb chops were of reasonable size. Never seen that before. One naan is usually enough as it's big. Free complimentary tea at end and owner asked us if we enjoyed the food and if we would like more tea - thanks.

I have been there few times, food exactly what you get in Peshawar city. Their chapli kebabs and charsi karahi is out of this world. If you want to taste pure Pakistani taste look no further. Place is not very clean but food is fresh and super delicious.

The food here is great. I tried a range of dishes, including the naan, biryani, kebabs and curry. It’s unfortunate that I live far from here, otherwise I would be a regular customer.

We thought we would give this a second try. Once again the service was absolutely disgusting. The waiters dont speak english which is very sad and hard to communicate with. Food was not good.

When a place is overflowing with locals, you know that you are in the right place. Chapali kabab, dal, karahi chicken, Peshawari naan. And the kahwa in the end is god send. Thanks and god bless these guys!

First time been there and it definitely worth the driving. Very lively flavors , high food quality, fresh ingredients and literally a culinary trip to Pakistan . However the service needs a some improvement which can be forgiven because of the brilliant food these Guys serve and the number of customers !

Driven 55 min to the restaurant, entered and saw more than half of the restaurant was empty but still not been greeted properly and then after 3,4 min a man said sit on the table next to the door with our 21 months old kid in a cold rainy day, requested for another table and was told with a very bad attitude that can’t do before 10 and it was not even 8 pm yet so decided to go somewhere else and even then no one bothered to explain why can’t we get one of the other 6,7 empty tables but glad didn’t spend my money in a place where people have no manners to deal with customers, guy was late 40s early 50s with beard. A food for thought for the management.

This is a review that I’m writing on behalf of my 84year old grandma who LOVES your food and really wanted me to come down and taste your food. Now can I just say that if my Grandma approves your food it must be good because to me and everyone that’s ever tasted her food she is literally the best chef in the world!
