Sometimes you find a real gem lying on your doorstep and this is very true of our visit to Taste of Nawab. We had not yet visited even though we have been in the area for more than a year and it is only ten minutes from home... well we're very glad we've found it now. Everything we ordered was delicious, with all sorts of veggie mains and sides and one chicken dish all skilfully spiced and extremely tasty. Even the standards like garlic naan and onion bhajis were a revelation - far better, fresher and more enjoyable than in most Indian restaurants. Service was super-friendly and obliging and we will definitely return.

Guru Tandoori

26/07/2019: Traditionally excellent for all your usual favorites. Pasandars and biryanis were particularly enjoyed. Sunday lunch buffet is worth a visit too.
06/09/2019: Stumbled across this place by accident. So glad we did. Very unassuming, and modest. But my god the food is amazing. Very friendly staff. Prices very reasonable too. Definitely one we will be returning back too

Bayleaf Restaurant

10/08/2019: My Brother recommended this place. It is upmarket and modern with very attentive service. We had poppadoms with delicious homemade chutneys then shared 2 chicken dishes, a lamb dish and a vegetable dish with 2 rice and 2 naans between 4 of us which was just enough food. The quality and presentation was really good. The menu is quite unusual but there are less dishes than your average Indian. Also it is rather more expensive so main dishes are around £17 to £19 although the dishes we had included rice or a naan. Overall very enjoyable.
16/08/2019: Tried for the first time based in part on favourable reviews.
