Top notch scran, everything was spot on salt and chilli chicken tasted fresh cooked to perfection also speedy delivery.

food didn’t taste good and was cold, honey chicken had a very sour taste.

Disappointed! 😞 Ordered 3 portions rice/chips with BBQ sauce, but unfortunately they ruined them by pouring Curry sauce over them! I hate curry sauce!

Took 2 hrs to deliver soggy undercooked chips and a side of rock solid prawn toast. Driver didn't bother to acknowledge they were half an hour late. Been ordering from here for years but the food and service seems to have gone down hill in recent months which is a shame.

Food quality was alright, delivered early which was great. But listing says “free prawn crackers if order over £12” and none were included with our qualifying order. Will order elsewhere next time.

Food was ok, still hot on a super fast delivery, but Ive had better food elsewhere.

There was not really any taste, no seasoning also greasy so I threw most of it away

Not as tasty as usual and a portion of chips missing! Wee bit disappointed as have used and spent plenty tonight and over the years!

This Chinese take away shop truly impressed us on a rainy day. Calling in our order, the lady was so helpful, ensuring we had the right amount of food for 3 people. We decided on 4 dishes and each one surpassed our expectations. The hot and sour soup had an authentic and rich flavor, while the beef prawn fried noodles were amazingly great. The salt and pepper squids and prawns were simply divine! We're already planning to return. Highly recommended for delicious Chinese cuisine.

The main dishes and wontons were lovely, but the regret of having two bags of prawn crackers hit very quickly…. They were completely inedible, hard and tasted old.

Ordered two items over £12 and it stated that would give free prawn crackers when orders over £12 but didn’t receive anything, even when I noted it in the order comment. Had the Thai green curry but was diluted so didn’t have the consistency of a traditional Thai curry.

The first time I ordered from Taste of China I was extremely pleased especially the chicken fried rice which was full of flavour with peas and spring onions in it.my meal came in a cardboard box which I thought was wonderful no plastic.however this time it came in plastic tubs not so good.I ordered 1/4 duck with pancakes very disappointed the duck was very dry.I also got duck with ginger and pineapple not a lot of duck far to much peppers and the fried rice was just that so all in all a bit disappointed.how ever going on my first order I shall try them again and also the duck and pineapple though not a lot of duck did have an excellent flavour.perhaps it was just a different chef.but please no plastic trays.

They didn’t close my fried rice box properly and it all went in the bag along with a cracked curry sauce pot.

We were pleased with the food. My chow mein could have used a bit more salt and the menu could be more descriptive e.g. Spring roll portions not mentioned. Picture showed 4 but the portion was actually only 2. The sweet and sour balls also don't come with any rice/noodles but they were generous with the sweet and sour sauce!

First time I have used Taste of China very impressed food was excellent ! had the meal for one chicken and sweetcorn soup,chicken chow mien plus prawn fried rice all delicious.I shall definitely order again.

The shredded beef tasted disgusting, had to spit it out; left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth. The rice had an odd taste but was at least edible. Delivery driver was amazing and quick with his delivery, shame the food was terrible.

It was delivered early with that the chicken was cold and dry the boiled rice was dry cold and tasteless the King prawn omelette had 4 prawns it was cold too overall it was a complete joke it looked as if it all was been lying around and cobbled together we’ve had good takeaways from them but that’s the end

Leave uncomplicated notes on every order but recently there is always something wrong. Bottles of drink has always been 2L bottles but now charging more, £3+, but provides 1.75L now. Food usually tastes great but not happy with inconsistency or paying more for less.

Usually love it but today the satay was so tasteless I couldn't eat it

I use Taste of China on average once a month. I do like their food because they also have some thai curries on offer. Often receive a free item to try. I am not a specialist on Chinese Cuisine but based on my taste and their service and delivery I highly recommend them.

Enjoyed our food. Would recommend to friends and family.

They must be popular as we had a little wait. We were not disappointed with our order. Very tasty.

Not ordered from here for a while but don’t think we will be ordering again. The starters were overcooked, the sesame toast was so hard that I ended up cracking my tooth. The seaweed had no flavour at all. I couldn’t enjoy my portion of the curry because of this. My husband said the mains were underwhelming, with burnt onions in the curry and a mix of over and undercooked rice. Really disappointed.

Taste of China have always been great at catering to our requests and have always provided really tasty meals delivered quickly at a relatively good price.

Our go to Chinese take away. It's always very good!

Asked for no veg in chow mein, think i got extra veg instead. Chips where undercooked/ soggy. King prawn kung po was really nice and good size serving.

Food was so good, and came super fast

Food ok but a little bland & dry. Would have expected a dipping sauce to come with the spring rolls. Delivery came on time, no complaints on this aspect.

The lid of the soup carton was badly split and some soup was floating in the bag. This affected the quality and quantity! The noodles and chicken were nice, but I would expect a few chopped spring onions to be in this soup and was lucky to be able to add my own. It makes a big difference. This is the 1st place I've ever been served it without them!

Ordered food for delivery. Everything was really good. Food was delivered a few minutes before estimated time. We would definitely order again.

Soup was nice - the curry was not so good it was mostly full of onions way too many. to save money on the chicken I think.

I made note to the restaurant that the front door was broken and the food should be delivered to the back door - which is no issue as the back door is accessible by the road whereas the front is not. After waiting an hour and half I phoned the restaurant as the app said the food was delivered. Turns out the food had been left on the front step for over an hour. When phoning to complain the restaurant they said it was just eats fault (clearly wasn't) they also said they passed the note on to the driver about the back door but for whatever reason the driver decided to leave hot food on a step outside without giving us any acknowledgement? - They apologised and said Just Eat would provide a refund however this hasn't happened. Freezing cold food straight into the bin and £30 down the drain. Avoid.

2x Fried rice and 2x Fried noodles ordered as below. Only one of each charged and delivered.

Ordered Hot & Sour Soup (Vegetarian) along with Homemade Vegetable Spring Rolls. After eating a few spoons of the soup I found a prawn, then another, then another, then strips of ham and chicken. Absolutely disgusted. Never again!

Food arrived late despite being phoned to ask if I was willing to receive it early. The food is good but wasn’t hot when it arrived.

How can this happen?! My Order was the following items ; shredded chicken and big bottle of Diet Coke. What is the point in even delivering the order when it’s not got all items with it. Can someone help please.

The food was perfect. The driver however, was quite rude I understand if you have other deliveries but the buzzer is broken and that was written on the review. However can't fault this takeaway yummy everytime! Just would prefer if the drivers were more considerate.

Bought two nights in a row as the first nights food was so good. Both meals were yummy.

Told by restaurant staff that the curry sauce is made with the oil which is used to fry the meat and shellfish. After many years of ordering the same food from this restaurant and always stating that we wanted a vegan meal, this was the first time anyone had told us the curry was not even vegetarian. Very very disappointing. Need to find a new favourite now 🥺

Food was not good. All of the sauces were so thick and gloopy that it was like eating wall paper paste, and it looked like it too. Meats were also very rubbery tasting. What is also meant to be crispy battered food was just barely cooked and limp. Taste of the fried rice was just of oil. Half of it went in the bin and for the price paid it was a total waste. Tried this place as our usual wasn’t open, won’t be back

Have always found most Chinese restaurants pretty similar but somehow Taste of China makes itself stand out. Food was absolutely brilliant - best Chinese I’ve ever had.

This is the tough thing about Chinese restaurants, the last time I reviewed this one, the food was amazing, this time it was terrible. It arrived incredibly quickly but it became quickly apparent that was because I wasn’t getting fresh made food but rather stodgy gloopy leftovers that had been half microwaved. The texture of the chicken was almost jelly-like, the beef wasn’t crispy and the sauce was dried out. Honestly I had to throw it away, it was inedible. Happy birthday to me.
