Amazing festive afternoon tea today. Almost looked too pretty to eat! Food was all fresh and delicious. Service was fantastic too. Special mention to Joyce who served us today. Thank you.

Had a delicious afternoon tea at Taste buds, great selection of cakes and choice of sandwich fillings, it was so big we took cakes home in boxes provided by Joyce! Joyce was friendly and helpful, she ensured we had everything we needed. Thanks taste buds for a lovely afternoon!

My friend and I visited this lovely little cafe today, for afternoon tea. My friend had been before so it came highly recommended. The cafe is tucked away on Lawn Street so you'd never know it was here unless it had been recommended to you. It's cozy, clean and comfortable. Joyce was lovely. She greeted us straight away and took our drinks order. Throughout our stay, she was attentive but not overly conspicuous and no request we made was too much trouble. The food was presented on a lovely slate mat and consisted of the deepest filled sandwiches I have ever eaten (delicious!), a home made sausage roll, a scone with preserves, a lovely mini strawberry mousse, 2 chocolate covered strawberries and 3 little cakes. We had a huge pot of tea between us which refilled our cups 3 times! There was no way we could manage to eat all that food in one sitting so we asked for a box to take the rest home. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and I will be taking my husband very soon to savour the delights of this little gem. I can't recommend it highly enough. It was the perfect way to catch up with a friend. Please note that you have to give a couple of days notice when booking afternoon tea.

Amazing afternoon tea, with a great range of delicious, home made treats. The staff couldn't have been any nicer, nothing was too much trouble. Well presented food, fresh and tasty. Altgough we made reservations for afternoon tea (you have to, it's all made specially!) I have eaten here before, and keep coming back because it's so good. A wee gem of a place, which is shown by its popularity - but I don't mind waiting because it's definitely worth it.

My family are regular customers and we can't recommend them highly enough. The warmest possible welcome, delicious food, outstanding service and very reasonably priced. If you're looking to treat yourself to brunch, the big breakfast is the meal of kings and if it's an afternoon tea you're after well frankly it has to be seen to be believed! You'll leave well fed having been thoroughly spoiled and eager to visit again. We've missed our visits over the past few months but we were able to collect our afternoon tea last week and have it at home so even during lockdown the taste buds team are looking after us!

I have been going here for years and since it has been took over it was went majorly downhill. Staff are so unfriendly and don’t listen to what you ask for, several occasions I have had to ask for my order to be corrected. Overpriced and standard of food isn’t good. I have lived in Paisley for many years now and never knew what I was missing! After being told about this place I decided to treat my Mum to an Afternoon Tea. The cafe is small and welcoming and the staff are so friendly, nothing is too much to ask. We got to chose what we wanted on our sandwiches and they were made fresh once we had arrived. Our afternoon tea was served individually, each of us reviewing a slate platter. We received 4 sandwiches each, a sausage roll, 2 chocolate dipped strawberries, a strawberry tarte, strawberry mousse, lemon drizzle cake, scone and a little bakewell. It was all lovely and fresh and we even received another plate with extra sandwiches......we had to ask for a doggy bag there was so much!! There were lots of other people dining in and all the food looked delicious, maybe need to try it for lunch one day too! A definite must visit!!

Fantastic place for a family lunch. Popped in on Saturday afternoon for lunch and was really surprised with the quality of food. Bacon rolls, soup , sandwiches and Mac cheese devoured. Great value, only negative was the very small portion of Mac Cheese

I had French toast, bacon and black pudding as I was feeling a little hungover, it was so good and made me feel instantly better. Bacon was nice and crispy and the French toast perfectly cooked, yum.I’ve had this breakfast a couple of times and it never disappoints me :) One day I promise I’ll try something else.I always take a sweet treat away with me, the cakes are fabulous and very generous portions. A real treat for later on a Saturday night.The staff here are very welcoming, friendly and will look after you really well.

In Paisley today and popped in to Taste Buds for some food - had the pasta bolognese. Tasted nice, a really good sized portion.Looks as if has been done up inside, looks quite smart and I liked the Scrabble letters on the wall with various Paisley-related words.Staff very pleasant, friendly, and service was quick, efficient and with a smile.

Our walking group visit Taste Buds whenever in Paisley. Even if we turn up unannounced with a dozen walkers we are fitted in and made welcome without fuss. The staff are very friendly and the food is good - typically Scottish but with other options too. Recently redecorated with a Paisley theme - done very tastefully too. Good value for money and always worth a visit. We walk every Friday and always finish in a cafe - this is definitely one of our favourites.

I have been to Taste Buds a number of times now, and I have never been disappointed. Friendly staff, great food and a great atmosphere. I never go to Paisley without a trip to Taste Buds now. It is my favourite cafe, I would highly recommend it.

Been here over the the years and had many lovely breakfasts, it has recently been taken over. Visited yesterday and had a breakfast (very fatty bacon, burnt egg, poor and very small square sausage) also had apple cake...yuck very very soggy. I won't be back.

Popped over for a visit...this cafe is amazing, the staff are exceptional, cheery and welcoming. The food was served quickly and piping hot, could not fault this place.

Great cafe menu with lots of options to suit everyone. Daily specials change regularly. Breakfast items available all day. Really friendly staff. Few minutes walk away from the centre of town so much more relaxed and ideal location for parents and kids attending classes in the area. Family friendly.

We were lucky to get tickets to their Tapas night on Friday 27th October and what it treat it was. Coming from Deepest South Lanarkshire is was well worth the trip from start to finish the food was outstanding. Everything was cooked fresh and was deadly delicious, portions were massive. It was so good we have booked to go back for their Christmas night on 15.12.2017.
