Really useful cafe in the tarner centre. Food looks good tho I didn't eat. I had lovely service and a tasty hot chocolate in a baby friendly environment

I can't describe how brilliant this cafe is, but I'll try. I come here almost everyday for my lunch. Lunch use to consist of horrible packet sandwiches/salads that lacked taste and left me still hungry. Or sandwiches/salads from deli's that although tasted good were expensive and lacked value. Then I started to come to Tarner. Wendy and her lovely team (Jenine & Jon) provide the tastiest (locally sourced and organic) food of daily specials and staple sandwiches/soups/rolls at prices that can't be beat. Literally, you can't buy the ingredients for less. For example - Homemade soup and roll for £2.20, Frittata and salad £3.50, spicy meatballs in spaghetti £4 ..... You get the drift. Basically, you need to check it out for yourself. The Food is amazing, extremely affordable, portions generous and staff fab - viva la Tarner x

Had a fantastic cod and chips here yesterday. Fish was fresh, flakey and the batter was superb. Chips were also brilliant. Reasonable price too, would definitely recommend.

Since the new owner took over I’ve become a regular - the sandwiches are so nice and with *so* much filling, they’re such good value compared to most places. The owner is really friendly and accommoda
