Tacos were great! My fav was the tuna tostada. Would recommend the watermelon and spicy and margaritas too 💛 Service rating wasn’t a 5 because the waitress was constantly clearing the table as we were eating and I’m a slow eater. This meant I lost my cutlery and napkins mid meal. Was quite annoying.

Obviously perfect. Ignore the bad reviews, this place is brilliant. On a par with Mexico tacos in Mexico

The best fish tacos from here to California. This place is one of my favourites in London. Better than some of Michelin star places here. So many fake reviews for this restaurant. Don’t pay attention to them and report them. The competing restaurant is clearly is trying everything they can to take some business.

Had the beef tacos . It was so salty and really not much going on for 11 quid or so for two pieces. .

By eating here you will disrespect Mexican values. This place seeks to appropriate Mexican culture and has the nerve to sue an authentic Mexican restaurants for using the word “taqueria”, which belongs to our culture and no one establishment. As a Mexican, I can only advise you to AVOID this place at all cost.

Super friendly service and very tasty fresh food!

Great location and vibe. Service was excellent. Food is just alright. If you're looking for authentic Mexican, keep looking. Food is tasty but is on the posh side both in presentation and price. The horchata (traditional rice milk drink) was quite bland but the crisps and salsas were great. The chicken tacos were just alright.

We are local, and latin so we want to love this place. We’d go regularly but the quality has been going downhill for the past year. To add to that today we waited 45 minutes and never got our mains though the restaurant was empty (aside from 2 other tables of 2) when we ordered. We got two sides (bland and stodgy) but never our tacos despite asking three times. The service from the one waitress and manager was non-existent and what little there was, bordered on rude. We were told to wait because they were busy with deliveroo orders. They couldn’t care less about customers- when we said we had to leave, we were charged for food, water and service. There was no empathy, no apology. We paid and left, hungry and upset. Either way we will not be returning again. There are many much better options on the same road!

Chilli margarita is the one. I also recommend the plantain taco's

Delicious and juicy beef tacos, great tostadas and guac, but the service is really subpar. On two occasions that I was met with some rudeness from staff for not booking. I am totally fine to walk out if there is no table available or the wait is difficult to evaluate, but at least be welcoming.

Some of the best tacos I've had outside of Mexico, quality ingredients, bursting with flavour and generous portions. I've had on multiple occasions and it's faultless everytime I wouldn't hesitate in recommending 10/10

Food was really plain. For anyone who ever had proper Mexican food this place is a disappointment. I recently read that they tried to sue another (real) Mexican restaurant over the use of the word 'Taqueria' which is a generic term used for Taco places all over the world. Shows what type of horrible people run this place. Edit: They also sued another company some years back that had the name TACO RIA because you know this could be confused with the generic term Taqueria that the owners of this place can only be used by them.

If you want a real mexican place you need to keep looking. this is not the place

Best Mexican food I’ve had in England. After living for several years in South America and the USA I have been craving so good Mexican food and this place delivers. The flavours match well and the portion sizes are perfect. We had the trio of dips, followed by the ceviche and then some tacos. Every mouthful was delicious and the pulled pork was perfect. Could quite happily eat here everyday.

These guys from the UK are suing several Mexican taco places for using the term taqueria. When this term is from Spanish and means a place where tacos are served and sold. It’s outrageous that people like this have the hubris of appropriating a word that is part of the cultural patrimony of us Mexicans and worst still that they dare enforce this with a lawsuit.

Taqueria is a Mexican word, how horrible it is to want to take over something that is not even close to being able to have an owner.

Very refined Mexican cuisine and not expensive at all. Delicious flavors + gluten free and vegan options! If I ever come to London again, I will definitely come back!!

I ordered takeaway, finally so happy to have an actual Mexican restaurant in London! The food was unreal, I usually make my own fish tacos and find i haven’t found a place that compares UNTIL I tried the fish tacos on this menu. They are absolutely unreal! Also I find the portions perfect and filling, I will be visiting in person next time. We also ordered some sides and the plantain tacos as well as quesadillas and they were all fantastic! I’m so glad I finally tried this place, it made me very happy tonight.

This place serves over-priced, inauthentic tacos, and I would not recommend eating here. You should also be aware that its owner is currently in a legal battle with a small latin-minority owned business, over the word 'taqueria' (literally, taco-place) which it claims to own the exclusive rights to... (This is like opening a pizzeroia called 'pizzeria' and claiming no one else can do the same..) ludicrous ! Would not recommend

Food was okay wasn’t the best had better in London for the price. had basically 0 service apart from order being taken and payment being taken, no one asked if our meal was okay and it wasn’t busy. Not bad, but also not very authentic and there’s waaaay better options of Mexican food in London. Service is good though and a nice service and environment, I guess it’s a good option if your are not looking for real tacos and you just want something nice and affordable to eat. Went here on a friday night. Table for two. Bachata in the background was nice, though nothing to do with mexico! Drinks were decent: cocktails and beer. Food was awful. Ordered beef tacos, plantain tacos, avocado on the side and a plate of tortilla chips and sauces. The guacomole sauce was still part frozen when brought out, the tacos were cold and the beef pretty tasteless. Service was very basic. Anyone giving this place 5 stars is likely paid by them or has a vested interest. One of the worst food experiences i've ever had.

The most Delicious Tacos we ever had, very very clean, excellent quality and lovely staff as usual. It’s our favourite restaurant and our kids always ask to go there they love their food. Highly recommend

Our waitress was incredible at Taqueria and the portion sizes were much bigger than we were expecting (based on other reviews). My picanté margarita was one of the best I’ve had and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!

Always an excellent choice for tacos on Westbourne Grove

I’ve been to this original location and their other spot on Exmouth a bunch of times. The soft shell crab tacos are easily the best, 5 stars for those, followed by the fish. But the steak, pork belly, and pulled pork are all not nearly as good. Maybe it’s because we were there between peak hours, but the steak was dry and clearly not cooked fresh. Again, highly recommend the soft shell crab tacos, but would skip everything else.

Unimpressed by the food, some things were good (like the fish tacos) and others were too salty (tacos al pastor). The service was quick and nice though. Too expensive for what it was.

Service was quick, excellent. The food was incredible. Tacos are delicious - and large servings!! Highly recommend the sea bass, slow cooked beef and grilled prawn tacos. Could easily eat two for one person. Can also highly recommend the spicy margarita 🤤 - it has a punch! But delish!! Staff are amazing too. We had 2.5 taco dishes each (big servings especially with the protein it’s perfect!) & 3 cocktails each. Very good value for money!! Absolutely coming back.

Traveled from Phoenix, Arizona and was recommended this place by our hotel. Everything looked like Mexican food but nothing that came out tasted like Mexican food. The Al Pastor was just barbecue pork and the portions were tiny. The highlight was the tortilla chips and the margarita.

Every time I eat at La Taquería is a incredible experience! Today I had the calamares Fritos, steak quesadilla and birria tacos.

The tuna tostada has too much guacamole and it ruins the rest of the flavour. The tarta tres leches is the best, it is indescribable to express how good it is. The calamare is delicious, as is the sea bass, pastor, birria… all excellent! Margaritas good too. The waitress Mariana helped us with the menu and provided very good service, we definitely Will back. Thank you!
