Delicious, authentic Spanish tapas. Good sized portions for the price. Helpful staff and quick service. The crema catalana was particularly good.

What a find, beautiful food and brilliant service. We had two serving choices for each of us and it was the perfect meal size. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Simply brilliant food, amazing taste.

Friday evening and the place was buzzing. And can see why, food was great, there was lots of choice, but with a party of 6, we tried about 80% of the dishes on the menu, every dish was a winner and my son compared it to a tapas restaurant we went to in Madrid! The jug of sangrea went down really well too. Can't comment on the deserts as we were all too full! Maybe next time!

My favorites, the gambas ajillo and the croquettes.. The chorizo with pumpkin puree also packs a punch. Me and my wife love the food here.. Good if they think about having a children's menu as well

Visited Tapeo with a large group of work colleagues, thoroughly enjoyed the flavoursome and authentically Spanish food. There were 12 of us in the group and the staff were very attentive and hard working. If you've enjoyed a holiday to Spain and want to rekindle some memories Tapeo is the place.

Cozy and clean place. The food is small in portions but good...I would have liked the paella tastier, the rice was bland. The octopus and almond dessert were good. We had taken a double espresso together with dessert but only dessert arrived so we told the girl we were still waiting for the espresso and in the end we paid for two...I realized it too late!🤷🏼‍♀️

Nice experience, well done dishes and proportionate prices, if you are hungry you have to take 3 courses. The desserts are also good. The only thing I object to is the ice in the sangria, otherwise everything is ok.

Friendly and relaxed tapas bar where on a good day we've sat outside at the front - alas the weather this week was a little cooler and windy! Choice of dishes is good, comes out hot, tasty and very promptly each time we have visited! House red was everything we needed to go with this. Thanks

I used to live in Spain and I do miss tapas every once in while. I went to Tapeo after a recommendation from a friend and the food is absolutely excellent. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well. You can get the classic tapas (patatras bravas, pan con tomate etc) but the more researched ones are fantastic. I recommend the scallops and the octopus. Their house wine is also nice and generously poured. Really love this restaurant and I've already been 3 times...

Super friendly staff and delicious tapas. Definitely my favorite Spanish restaurant. Me and my boyfriend have a tradition now to vist Tapeo at least 3x per month.

Great selection of dishes. Food arrived very quickly and all of it was delicious. Stand outs were the chorizo in pumpkin puree, calamari and spare ribs. Cheesecake was lovely too - very rich and creamy.

Lovely tapas food. i’m a fussy eater who hates spice and my partner is a chef who loves flavours and interesting foods and we both loved it! really good good selection on menu and each dish we ordered was fantastic. Will defo be back soon!

Food was good. Service was poor. Waitress was rude and it was quite apparent that staff wanted us out as soon as possible. Staff were even putting on coats and waiting around at as early as 10 a.m. Toilets were dirty. Never again.

Lovely authentic food (not frozen calamari etc) cooked beautifully, with a twist. EXCELLENT service too 👍

Often when you eat at a great restaurant one or two dishes really stand out. That's not the case here. We both wondered for any dish we ordered, whether there was anything to improve (nothing we could think of) or whether we ever had better (not even in Spain as far as we know). Everything was absolutely fantastic. Definitely best scallops we have ever had, as were the calamari. Pork belly probably the best ever as well. Do eat the scallops shortly after they have been served, they are amazing, even later, but at it's best if you don't try to be polite and wait until the other one suggests to share it. Service was more that fantastic too. They were absolutely delightful with our 4 year old and when he knocked over his apple juice they were there to clean up before I could even ask for extra towels. And then they got him to eat a bit of chorizo (which he really loves at home, but of course didn't even want to try, because he is a kid) after we tried many things. They were very attentive throughout our meal. FYI we're Dutch, we're not easy to please, we always find something to complain about. There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

Hubby and I tried Tapeo for the first time, we usually go to another tapas restaurant in the area. There are many positives, starting with the food. We shared six dishes and all of them were totally delicious. The octopus was perfectly cooked, the patatas bravas had just the right balance between the tomato and the garlic sauces, but the star dish for us was the Presa Iberica. These small morsels of deliciousness were amazing, with just the right amount of chili to give a little kick. We washed it all down with a bottle of Norte Inurrieta, a smooth red with a dark fruit taste and a slightly peppery finish. The service was prompt and attentive, plenty of personnel to make sure the busy restaurant was well served. The only downside was the noise. It was a Saturday evening at 7pm and the place was fully booked. Also, there was a particularly loud table of five people who probably made more noise than the rest of the diners. I think next time (because there will be a next time) I'll go mid-week and hope for a quieter atmosphere.

Our second time here, and unfortunately the last. Ok food in a lovely atmosphere, but it is overpriced considering the small portions. Don't be put off if your budget is unlimited and or you just want some snacks next to your glass of wine.

Tapeo is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Beckenham (the other being Sapore Vero) and we’ve tried a lot! We’ve visited Tapeo about five times now, as a couple and with friends/family, and it’s never been anything less than excellent. The the service is friendly and thoughtful and the food is incredible and very quick to arrive. The tortilla classica always has a perfect eggy wobble to it, the arranchera a la brasa (skirt steak with chimichurri) is cooked to the loveliest shade of pink, the pork belly crackling is die for, and the cheesy, potatoey filling in the croquetas de jamon (ham croquettes) is utterly delicious. My one recommendation would be to opt for the house wine rather than the sangria - I’ve tried the sangria twice, but found it a bit too watery. Other than that - highly recommended!

Good food but ripped off with the bill got charged twice on same bill for service..I understand it's a 10% charge but what makes them put it it twice... feel ripped off... won't be going back there

Brilliant Tapas bar and very reasonable prices! Grilled salmon was my favorite dish but none of them disappointed. Well worth a visit.

Lovely restaurant, great food and fast service and kind staff but sadly their allergen menu only listed 4 allergens out of the 14. I had to go by word of mouth by the waiter that food I ordered didn’t have my allergy in but have had a reaction since which is annoying but also dangerous to someone who may have a more serious allergic reaction than me. My only recommendation would be to have an allergen menu listing the 14 and what they’re in possibly. It’s just not worth the risk of a serious allergic reaction.
