The best place ever. My family favourite place for dinner. Went with friends tonight who have never had tapas before and they loved every dish and where impressed with the food and cocktails in equal measure. Always lovely friendly staff. Will miss one of the waiters who will be leaving to start a new journey and his lovely smiley face and our little laughs weve had but every single member of staff is friendly and welcoming. Such a lovely ambience and warm atmosphere. Brad, the manager is one of the nicest most down to earth people who always has time for a chat and makes sure you are happy with everything. Nothing to fault about this little Waterloo gem.

Lovely little place. Came without a booking but they managed to find us a table. Made us feel really welcome. All the staff were great and it had a really lovely feel and looked like a lot of customers were regulars. Cocktails were great - cosmopolitan wasn’t too bitter probably one of the best I’ve had! All of our dishes were lovely although we definitely ordered too much. The best dish for me was the veggie paella and the only place I’ve been that lets you order an individual portion! Massive portion sizes for a tapas restaurant and for the price you can’t really do better!

Food was absolutely stunning and the service was amazing. The waiter could not do enough to ensure we were lookiled after. Will 100% be returning.

This is one of my favourite tapas bars. The food is always amazing and the service is spot on. The gambas pil pil is some of the best I have ever eaten.

Lovely meal always great food and atmosphere. We visited for our sons birthday, he was made a fuss of and given a free mocktail.

We received a great welcome, very friend staff. Fantastic food, we ordered 4 vegetarian and 2 meat dishes - no other words than yum. Quick service too. The candy floss cocktail was phenomenal. It’s 80 miles from our hometown but would definitely visit again. Highly recommended .

We went here for my 21st birthday as we absolutely love Spanish tapas. This place did not disappoint and the food, cocktails and dessert were amazing! We were so shocked to find that neither owner/chefs were Spanish as the place was SO good. Highly recommended to anyone and will definitely be visiting again. The servers were also very attentive and kind.

We went here for an early dinner during our family date day. The food was delicious and every authentic. We took advantage of the 3 tapas for £17 offer, but added a few extras as tapas is our favourite food. Each dish was delicious in its own right. Some of my favourites from what we ordered were; gambas pil pil, chorizo in red wine and honey and the patatas bravas. The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond. Our daughter is 4 and the staff were great with her, making her an off-menu mocktail and playing along with our colouring competition to win a chocolate ice cream for dessert. I would have no hesitation in returning here or recommending to friends.

We went to Tapas Tapas for my birthday. Such a great choice as the meal was lovely and the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere. The food was fantastic, every dish was delicious and so much choice too. The service was top notch all the staff were friendly, professional and couldn't do enough for you. We also made use of the 10% off voucher given with the bill and headed over to Bodega Del Lobo for after dinner cocktails - the spicy margarita is a must try! Thanks for a fantastic night. We will defiantly be back soon!

Tapas Tapas never disappoints, the food and service were excellent as usual. The ever changing specials on the menu ensure there is always something new to enjoy. The service is superb with just the right amount of attentiveness, a highly enjoyable experience which we will be repeating soon! Totally recommended.

Aided just gets better and better. So professional and attentive - he's a real ambassador for brand Tapas Tapas. Put simply out favourite Spanish restaurant. The food is always excellent with plenty of choice and wonderful service! The cocktails are a must try as well. We will be back soon - hasta luego!

Another visit with my wife for a lovely meal at Tapas Tapas. The food was as delicious as always with a few changes and new dishes on the menu. We opted for 8 tapas between us some we had previously and some we tried for the first time. We particularly enjoyed the croquets and the meatballs. A change we noticed was the white fish is now served with chips and peas where previously it was with aleoli which we preferred but we still selected it as one of our choices and enjoyed it just the same.

Our favourite tapas restaurant in the Liverpool area. We’ve tried lots of tapas places in the city centre but yet to find one that tops Tapas tapas in Waterloo. A great choice for a family meal as there’s something for everyone.

Absolutely brilliant service and really helpful when choosing food for my daughter who has an allergy. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and a good price. The ox cheek special was delicious as was the honey goats cheese and tempura vegetables (not sure of the correct name) will definitely visit again soon.

This is the third visit for us which says a lot given the options available on south rd. Waterloo. The staff are very good and the food excellent. We are particularly pleased with the gluten free option as one of our party is gluten intolerant

second time visiting this little gem on south road Waterloo! food was once again top tier, I cant remember the names of the plates ordered but was once again a lot for what tapas is! the house red wine is perfect especially with coca cola added to it. It's lovely and well priced. We went with our 2 Yr old and to be honest, it's not the best place for loud toddlers as it's a small and intimate place so we really felt like everyone was sitting with us as our child loudly ate his dinner. We ended up leaving early because of that. I think next time we will ask to be seated upstairs as its a bit bigger up there.

My favourite meal from my trip to Liverpool was from this restaurant. The staff were absolutely lovely and attentive and the atmosphere was amazing too. We ordered the steak with rosemary potatoes (personal favourite), pork belly, paella, calamari and pan duo and everything was just so delicious. I would say to keep in mind that each tapas is quite filling so make sure to not over-order and to definitely book a table in advance since the restaurant was quite full when we went on a Friday night.

After years supporting tapas tapas had a disappointing time tonight. Firstly asked for a table upstairs none available then watched 4 people who had not booked taken upstairs then 2 more who had a short wait who also had not booked taken upstairs. We were told it was a large table who had finished but we never saw anyone leave whilst there. We ordered and the olives we ordered first never came but we did get someone tomato toast ( sent back) We then got 3 meals still no olives. The Olives arrived so l had to send my food back as it would have been cold. Altogether a very disappointing meal. They offered to take off the olives but we ate them and l believe in paying for what l get. Disappointed.

Most of the food was great, really very tasty. The breads could of done with been charred on the grill and the steak was a little let down compared to the rest of the food.

Hi wife and I were visiting Liverpool and walk past on our way to the hotel. Something about the restaurant just look right so we went back in the evening. We had a great meal with good wine and very good service. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant at all.

We enjoyed excellent service at Tapas Tapas. The staff are very attentive, the food is excellent with lots of variety on the menu and a particularly good range of gluten free options. Also has a good Wine list.

This is a great place, still great after the 5 or 6 year gap since we were last here with two of our grandchildren. Reasonably priced, excellent quality, good range of tapas. Remember to book on a Saturday: if we'd been five minutes later we'd have been disappointed.

Was ok would expect a bit more for the price. Food was burnt with not much flavor.

I come to Tapas Tapas quite a bit, if I could I'd be there once a week. Drinks are amazing, food delicious as always, service outstanding! Always a joy going down. Big shout out to Aiden, one of the service staff, proper outgoing lad proper sound but all staff are just as amazing. Couldn't decide between two cocktails (Strawberry & Balsamic Daiquiri / Candy Flosa Sour) so asked one of the women there to surprise me , got the Candy Floss Sour and was not disappointed. Also got the Blood Orange & Mango Mojito, my girlfriend got the Berry Nice. Food wise, the Goats Cheese is my favourite but the Croquettes are to die for. On the day I visited they had a special on, I went for the cheeseburger tacos which were lovely too. Overall, I 100% recommend heading down and trying out the food and drink and even heading down to see Bodega Del Lobo their newly opened bar! I know I'll be back soon, so I'll see you all again!! I have been to this local restaurant many times, most recently in April. It is probably the nicest Tapas venue in Liverpool. Try the patatas bravas, meatballs, black pudding (oh yes) - in fact just order the lot!!

All the staff were lovely. Aidan, our waiter, was an absolute joy - really welcoming. Food was quick to come. Generous portions, great value. My candy floss cocktail was lush. Really clean. Relaxing atmosphere.

The only positive thing about the restaurant is the service. We went to try it since it had a very good score, obviously the score has been given by people who have never eaten in Spain. We ordered paella, one large (only seafood) for three and two small ones (meat), all the paellas had very stale rice, the small paellas tasted burnt, the large one had nothing to do with a paella, it didn't taste like anything . One of us complained, they took away her plate of paella (small paella) and took it off the bill, the rest of us made the effort. The croquettes were not that bad (4 come), however the Iberian ham flavor did not exist. The steak with potatoes, I understand that it is "tapa" but the price is exaggerated for the size, it was not even half a steak, plus it was very fine for £9. The only similarity to patatas bravas is that it has potatoes. The prawns alone, almost £2 per prawn. The olives and bread are very good. In general we left super disappointed, Spain only had the atmosphere and the name.

Lovely tapas restaurant a short walk from Crosby beach in the heart of Waterloo. The service is friendly and super quick and the portions are generous, tasty and nicely served. Can't wait to go back to try more of the food :)

Terrible service dirty not clean at all, the family who Owned it originally no longer run it, it’s been a while it was a beautiful establishment 10 years ago since the new owners it’s gone down really bad. I was so Disappointed the sangria was just flavoured juice with a few chunks of fruit filled with ice cubes there was blue bottles flys everywhere I don’t normally complain but the atmosphere was terrible. I didn’t stay for my food I was put off by the appearance sorry to say it’s not worth travelling out too so disappointed

We looked for a Tapas place in Crosby after visiting The Iron Men and searched reviews to find Tapas Tapas. We were highly impressed and left happy. Food, drinks, portion size, ambience and everything about the place was great. Staff were so friendly and fun. Brad was particularly great, and helpful with a few things, including advice for a friend with a severe nut allergy too. Couldn't recommend more highly. We'll be back!

The food here is fabulous and a great selection of tapas and drinks, and a really good vibe. My daughter and I have been going to Tapas tapas for many years now, and much prefer it Spanish restaurant in Liverpool centre. We're so lucky to have this fabulous restaurant on our doorstep.

Huge portions. Staff really friendly. Food OK. The meatballs were good, the fish batter was way too thick and the potato dishes, although voluminous, were a bit dry and bland. Wine not at silly prices.

We attended this restaurant this afternoon and was so impressed!! The food was gorgeous, very big portions, the waiter (I think his name was Bradley… sorry if that’s wrong) was so nice and friendly.
