Tapas Brindisa Soho in City of London, Westminster

We were in London with family and decided to return to Brindisa - a place we've enjoyed many times. We weren't sure they'd be able to fit 6 of us in at short notice but lucky for us - a cancellation occurred soon after we arrived and we got a table for 2 hours. We tried loads of things on the menu, including regular favourites and some new dishes from the seasonal menu. All good. The salt cod and piquillo peppers, and the black rice are amaaaazing!! Service was excellent and friendly - this is one of our favourite places to eat in London.

Not much on the menu I liked and had the tortilla which was small and over oily. Patatas bravas had too much garlic mayo on which ruined them

Really nice little Tapas place. The squid and blue cheese croquettes were very good as was the burnt cheesecake. The rest of the food was decent without being exceptional. Service very good - one of the waiting staff knocked water over us (which was not a big deal) and was so apologetic and offered us free dessert. A perfect way to deal with these sort of incidents. Will go back

-- Sandy, gritty paelle, the mussels had not been rinsed. -- Squid devoid of squid, a pile of crispy batter with max 2 meat items. -- Kicked to the pavement without warning (during winter) shortly after ordering a bottle of wine and dessert. If you have a 90 minute table turnaround tell me when I rrive, tell me when I order new items. Don't tell me it's mentioned in small print confirmation message. Will never be back to this chain.

We visited that place. Everything, especially Juan was brilliant :) We liked the food and the service so much that we surely decided to visit again. Thanks for that amazing Spanish dinner.

Amazing food and great wines. Josh was well versed and we loved the Spanish wine we tried. We had the beef main dish and it was delicious. Also croquettes too. So good. We loved everything. We will be back. Worth a visit when in Soho.

First time to this resraurant and cannot fault it. Wow. Service excellent, food v good, value for money. Josh was courteous and attentive very informative and made our visit pleasurable. Would highly recommend this small intimate resraurant.

Booked a table for 2 at 6:30pm, we arrived on time to be badly greeted by clearly unhappy waiter. We mentioned that we wanted to use the CodeApp which was completely dismissed, he wouldn’t even look at us, just took the name and went on to show us the table. On the email it said we had 1.5 hours for parties of up to 4, however only an hour into our meal the waiter told us we have just 10 mins left, we didn’t even finish our food or wine. We didn’t ask for the bill but he put the bill on the table shortly after, forgetting to add the discount from the CodeApp which we communicated right at the door . The food was rather poor but ok however the service was terribly disappointing.

Realmente caro para las cantidades y calidades que dan. Cualquier español lo ve de lejos. Entiendo que Londres sea caro, pero un pincho de tortilla no cuesta 10 euros. Really expensive, Spanish people don't go there if you want to keep vuestros riñones. Un beso

Very authentic tapas. Fantastic flavours and beautiful presentation of food. The restaurant is quiet small and had a really good atmosphere. Staff and service very good. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Never disappoints! Nice sangria and amazing croquettes!!

Food was decent, classic Spanish fare that was well-plated and acceptably portioned (for tapas). Had to endure a bacchanal of undergraduates until we told the manager to moderate noise levels in the restaurant. I’d have liked to see front of house be more proactive. We were asked if we were ready to pay even though we hadn’t been served our mains and had been waiting a long time for them. From the kerfuffle between the manager and our server, I gather that the latter was still in training. Not a big deal, and we were offered dessert on the house (though cheesecake was slightly overbaked).

Really enjoyable meal at Tapas Brindisa! Best tapas I've had in London. Standout was the Gambas Al Ajillo and the Garbanzos a la catalana. The service was very accommodating, asking if we would like an extra croquette etc. It is on the pricer side, but would say its pretty in line with other meals / tapas restaurants I've been to in London.

Four of us ate here on a quiet Monday afternoon. The food was absolutely delicious. So much so that we couldn’t help but place repeated orders. The garlic mushrooms and patatas bravas were table favourites! The service was spot on. Attentive but not over-bearing. The staff were friendly and welcoming and there was a lovely relaxed vibe. A perfect way to spend a few hours! We will definitely visit again

Perfect, relaxed vibe, outstanding food, attentive and knowledgeable staff, great with allergens. Four of us spent the afternoon here, enjoying the food and wine. Food came out quickly, service was friendly and efficient (I believe the guy who looked after us was actually from another restautant, as covering whilst the staff had a meeting) and was excellent at informing my wife (coeliac) about what she could and couldn't have. We all enjoyed our experience with you and hope to return another time!

Had a lovely meal last night, 9 of us for a very late Christmas do, food was vey nice and tasty, only draw back was one of the boys order a cider and it was expired by a good six months. Apart from that service was great and very attentive, and overall all the food i tasted was fresh and well cooked. Definitely worth a try if you are around the area.

We had a late dinner with a large group at this restaurant. Each tapas dishes were great. The location is a bit small but we could sit outside at a bigger table. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and quick.

Food is good, not the best spanish food you can find in Soho but a good option for when you fancy some tapas. It's a little pricey, we paid £73 for 2 ppl (we had just sparkling water to drink) for lunch. It all came out quite quickly and wasn't particularly hot so I doubt it was made fresh to order but the taste was good and it wasn't my first or last time.

My second visit and it didn’t disappoint. The manageress Cinthia was amazing she took excellent care of us and was very professional amazing. I recommend 5 ⭐️

Just perfect for an authentic tapas experience. Popped in on a Sunday night without a reservation. It was very busy but the manager welcomed us and offered us a bar seat but within minutes we were offered a table within the restaurant. Tapas dishes, ordered from a very good wide choice menu, were absolutely delicious.

Superb place for food. Had a small cheese plate with wine and fresh bread. Will definitely be back for more.

Had a date at the counter as was a busy Friday night. Proper top notch stuff. Good wine, great food, attentive and approachable staff. Shoutout to the barman who made us a couple of mezcal cocktails which were a right smack on the tastebuds. Great way to finish the night and will 100% recommend.

I booked ahead of time for lunch before the pantomime at the Palladium. It was a cold, windy and drizzly day and I was early, but they allowed me to sit inside in warm, which was really kind as I was a good 15 mins early. I checked the menu in the meantime and having lived in Spain, opted for the croquetas de jamon, the pan con tomate and the patatas bravas, served with a glass of Estrella de Galicia lager. My food arrived promptly and it was all delicious, especially the croquetas! The size of the bravas was a little smaller than expected, but this is the only improvement that could be made. As a chatty northerner eating alone, I was relieved to have the amazing Cody to chat to before other diners arrived. All staff were courteous, friendly, confident and capable and the whole experience really made my visit something special. I would wholeheartedly recommend this little gem of a place as it's reasonably priced for Soho, authentic , delicious food served by people who really care. I'll be back next time I'm in London - Thank You!

Delicious food - was surprised as the Battersea branch wasn’t as good. We ordered 5 plates: pan con tomate, gambas, lamb shoulder, deep fried squid, patatas bravas. All incredibly seasoned and fresh. Would go again easily.

Impresionante! Hemos estado en Nochevieja, atencion exquisita de Cintia, comida riquísima... Nos sorprendieron con 12 uvas y una copa de cava a las 11 para celebrar las campanadas. Todo un detalle. Entramos equivocadamente porque necesitábamos agua para tomar medicina. Pensando que era una cafetería y no un restaurante de tapas español. Solo por la atención de la chica española, se merece 5 estrellas. Si estás por el soho te lo recomiendo

Your Soho branch is our "go to" restaurant in London, unless we are trying somewhere new.

14-Jun-23 Tapas Brindisa Soho: Visited for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Very popular so you do need to book. Small restaurant with tightly packed tables. Good service and great food but v small tables, which isn't ideal for tapas.

A Spanish restaurant owned by the oldest, well known, quality products, Spanish market in London. Croquettes with Hammon = a pure taste bomb, a must try, one bite one smile. King prawns with garlic= amazing. Chorizo on bread= spicy, tasty elevated. Potatoes with egg and Mallorcan black pig = Unique Superb combination of textures and taste. Mushrooms and patatas bravas good. House Sangria excellent with increased fruity twist. Very accommodating and efficient staff. Prices very good considering the quality and the area. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous dining place for tapas. It was cozy and service was great! Food is tasty. We spent about £100 for 2 pax, mainly for the platter and Spanish seafood Paella. If you get the seats by the side, there isn’t a place to put your bag and jacket.

Not authentic taste, wishy washy. Disappointed. Some of the dishes were poorly presented, not enough gap between the courses, looked like the management was in rush to get rid of the diners.

Really lovely restaurant, the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing, you could add to the table as you went along, wine was good, the prawns really big and so tasty, would definitely recommend, plenty of seating and lovely atmosphere.

Standard dropped. Disappointing lunch as no one acknowledged us for the availability of gluten-free options. When placing an order for a bread basket with the server, he said yes we have an offer then when the bread basket came we needed to ask the manager and he said we don’t have gluten. Not that he does not emphasize this but does not even ask or confirm one of the guest's allergies or if he can do anything about it. ( we told them prior to arriving at the restaurant as well). Clearly, the server doesn’t even know! Missing salad dish and when asked the manager, he said we didn’t place the order and between four of us said we placed the order. The manager said again “I don’t have it here” What kind of attitude is this? We live in London and are such fans of this place and other branches, but this time it was really embarrassing to invite our parents and the service was just bad.

Had dinner here last night with a quick booking at 7:30, was promptly sat at the bar. Wonderful atmosphere. My partner and I loved everything about it. We had the Patatas Bravas, Charcuterie Board, their award winning Monte Enebro (a must-try!) and their Setas al ajillo (also surprisingly great!). We were also recommended El Destraler as a pairing wine and it was a great choice! Would definitely come back again to try out all the other items. Price was affordable for Soho at 30-40quids per person. Went away stuffed and happy!
