Tandoori Plus in Glasgow City

Ordered a Spicy chicken hoagie and a 10 inch cheese pizza. The hoagie arrived with absolutely no chicken whatsoever, it was a wet soupy mess and the pizza had no tomato base at all. Phoned to say but the guy denied everything. I'm not stupid. There was not even a strand of chicken. The fact he denied all this has annoyed me. He just hung up. If I get a sarky reply from them please don't believe it as they are proven liar's. AVOID

The worst experience i ever had in my life.. Food was not good and too expensive. They don't know how to speak to customers..customers services 0/10..i will never recommend this place to anyone.

£9 for two boggin small chips and cheese with a garlic mayo and pakora sauce. Heavy bump. Obs thought i was a uni student he could rip a stupid price off of and cos i was in a rush i accepted, wont be going back.

I ordered one chicken fried rice with lots of expectation as reviews got from my friends , when I opened it was full of sauce and I tasted it was worst fried rice I ever had, far apart they mentioned that food as chicken fried rice , worst part is there were very less amount of chicken inside it mostly three to four pieces, it was a take an away order . I was in a rush to have it as per the huge reviews but when I tasted a little bit, it tasted like a masala with a portion of rice , it was not even good for the next try. I checked all the food box ,rice was so much of spice and black in color because of more sauce, the funny part is that I got my food in less than 5 minutes as if they cooked it before and jus heated it for me "hope not so" . When I get back to the shop and I informed the staff that this food is not good,he said that he will not accept that , he was so rude and the behavior was like he always serve good food only and never had such incident. Actually we were about to order 4 rice, later on decided to taste one first and order later. Thus all of us tried "SO CALLED"chicken fried rice and everyone had the same response about rice . As we were in a conversation with the staff they don't even check the food and responded in an ill-mannered way and was rude as "if you want to eat you can or else you have to leave ". Such a pathetic behavior to a customer .... !! Overall we were totally disappointed with the food and dissatisfied with the behavior of the restaurant , Customer service was worst . ' Zero recommendation for food ". NOT EVEN RECOMMENDED FOR A TRY ........!!!!!! WORST FOOD USAGE OF PLASTIC SPOONS FOR HOT FOOD...!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...!!! RUDE BEHAVIOR AT CUSTOMERS "" ZERO RECOMMENDED ""

Could be better with the quality. Tried to change my order. He asked to pay in cash. I don't carry any. Kebab r to dry . N pizza is not the same anymore . This used to b good. It's not nymore

Always used this place . But it's goung down hill . Chicken pakora dry as a bone, phoned up to complain. He argued that it was not dry . Sent me a new portion not any better. Won't be ordering anymore .

The price is so high and the food does not taste good. I've ordered and received burnt food. The staff are so arrogant. This is the closest takeaway but I have not been back in 3 years. My money is better spent elsewhere. If you value food, customer service don't eat here. The new owners are worse than the original ones. New owners have increased the price higher now

2 Chicken Tikka Chasni 1 sweet Nan 1 plain Nan no rice Cost £29. (My friend was buying us dinner) Challenged the chap who served me who said no that’s the right price. I felt my friend felt obliged to pay this after offering to buy dinner and didn’t want to make a fuss. Went home and the more I thought about it the more I thought that surely can’t be right. Where I stay you’d get that in my local Indian for under £20. I know everyone’s prices have went up but that’s ripping it. Won’t be eating from there again.

Served food in plastic dishes which melte into the food, this makes the food poisionous. Slightly too oily. Otherwise reasonably priced, good food.

Order from here on just eat, usually amazing had a few times where the food is cold or once the order never showed up but the staff where happy to send out a new order after explaining what happened. Decent price for decent food what more can ya expect

just bought 2 nans for £6 come on you can buy ata 10kg bag for that you are a low rent paying take away students should try pasha it's 5 minutes walk nice big restaurant selling it for £1

Ordered Chicken tikka masala it had more pineapple than chicken wtaf (chef doesn't know what chicken tikka masala is) and munchie box states chicken and veg pakora told them not to put mushroom pakora in it as I know they do they never listened. Also munchie box and a few leather strings in it. Can't call that Dona meat They have lost a customer don't order or buy from this place. After they changed owner food quality has gone from good to sh*t not the first time I have had a bad meal from this place that's then definitely lost custom

The set meal for 2 was excellent just like Hamad very nice and the chapatis were just right very nice meal Bhoys thanks again.

Delivery was 30 mins late, the food was so greasy the hoagie and pizza crunch was dripping with grease when you lifted it, it all ended up in the bin, the ice cream was £2.50 honestly suda cream tub is bigger they also gave me a different flavour that I hate... definitely won't be ordering again.

No customer service and literally not good food. Tried family platter not enough for even 3 and the chicken pieces were not properly cooked and very less of spices.

It's our go to place for cheap Indian food, has friendly staff and decent pizza as well.

Have to give them a star but I would prefer them to have none on this because that’s what they deserve ordered a burger and I found a beard hair and when I phoned up the person on the other end was absolutely shocking being rude and everything over the phone and no help what’s so ever arguing back saying how many cm the hair was highly wouldn’t recommend didn’t even get a refund or the meal changed ! and the rest of the food stone cold won’t be going back !

Food was to be delivered between 19.40 20.00 I had to call up shop at 20.15 to ask where our order was & was told by a staff member it would be another 20 mins very disappointed in this 😞 also when staff member answered the phone I could not make out what he was saying as he kept walking away from phone & talking at same time

Really, Really disappointing. This used to be a great place to order food & as locals, we ordered regularly from chippy food to Great currys BUT since it appears to have been taken over, the food is now way way below standard. Yet AGAIN after tonights delivery of food, it was nothing short of a disgrace, i really dont think they know how to fry fish, we even tried 2 different currys a couple of weeks ago and they were very bland, we wrote that off as bad luck, then ordered several different chippy foods, a week later and again was not enjoyable but after tonights masterpiece, NEVER again will we buy food from here again, bland spices on currys, special fish looked like a sardine wrapped in masses of breadcrumbs and fried until solid & thats the 3rd time it has happened. stay away from these crooks i am sure i could have better option from other takeaways. food was totally bland and tasteless on top of this a rude service. guy try to over charge me and had a cheeky smile stay away seems like they don't care i am an old customer and didn't expect it all

Oh Tandoori plus is a fantastic it does Curry's ordinary chippy stuff (their chips are amazing. I love their assortment of pakora while my partner adores the spicey chicken wings. I adore they're assortment of munchies boxes..If u haven't ever tried as it does all sorts of kebabs. Very near to city centre but nowhere near the extras you occur when buying from a city centre. I highly recommend that if you havent try try SOON AS POSSIBLE. Yum yum yum

Staff very friendly curries are lovely

New owners that give very small portion sizes compared to the old owners, me and a friend have been going here for years but have now decided to stop going now, as portion sizes aren't as good and food quality isn't as good either, prices on menu are different from prices you get charged aswell

Food doesn’t show up, called up after 2 hrs promised it was 10 mins away. 30 mins later called and it was “on way”, demanded they asked driver for an accurate eta, promised driver was nearby. 20 mins later (2h 50) was told driver had been and delivered food! Absolute rubbish ! Someone else came on phone and was very helpful and promised fresh food and he would personally deliver it! 10 mins later they called and advised the owner wouldn’t let him as too busy!!!

Came early, but was absolutely shocking, got a munchie box, sh*te portion, a small dribble of Donner meat, if they make an error it’s always just let us know next time, if u have had a disappointing order are u really going to order again

I have ordered lamb berryani. It was spicy despite the fact that I told them not to make it spicy. There was no berryani sauce beside it instead they sent with it mint sauce which I don’t like at all. the berryani was made by someone inexperienced it was not prepared and mixed properly in its ingredients. I took some pics of it as evidence if it’s required I’ll happy to share it with management team.

The best delicious food in Glasgow as well as great staff. There is no doubt that Tandoori plus is my favourite restaurant in Glasgow; I highly recommend everybody to try it

Apart from selling haram food, they like to give u a side of mould with ur dinner. And dont get me started on the customer service..

Served a roll and fritter on a mouldy roll. Uncertainty over whether products they sell are halal or not yet they proudly display halal food certification, and are rude and challenging when asked questions about their food. Also common to see staff members smoking cannabis behind the shops.

Great service, we received a call from the restaurant after placing the order to confirm this back, our food was then delivered earlier than quoted on just eat by a friendly delivery driver who also called to advise he was on the way. Now to the food itself which was lovely and good size portions. Would order again.

The food is consistently good but there is always a problem with the order. Missing items, wrong items or it takes 2+ hours to arrive. Think it’s a good place if you’re doing collection and can check the order, but terrible for delivery.

As always a superb and very reasonably priced takeaway. Staff are so friendly, and delivery is swift. Excellent.

Food was okay got a munchies box wasn't the best but was nice enough. I did order late on at night though and delivery was fast so can't complain. Also delivery driver followed my instructions of not ringing the door bell as kids where asleep so that was a plus. Munchie box had chippy chips so that was a plus aswell. All in all I would try again . Kebab meat wasn't amazing? Not sure if it's because of the late night but yeah defos order again

Get a lot for your money and delivery was quick however the food was bad. Chasni had no flavour at all, I think it was literally cream and red food colouring. Chicken beyond tough and rubbery. Shame

Driver called went to Road instead of crescent, was very polite and promptly arrived with lovely food, well impressed. Great portion size and very tasty food.

Food was cold when arrived, the burger had settled so long that in the made the bun soggy. Had to replace my bun with normal bread to eat it. You guys are normally better than this. Its a shame
