Very average and overrated. Visited on Sat early evening with group of four. Service was great, food not so great, everything was very average and overpriced for what you got. The chicken was very dry and some dishes were lacking in any real flavour. They very kindly offered me a new dish which was ok but still very average for the price. Also the drinks were all very tasteless and watered down. Definitely won’t be coming back as it used to be so much better, the quality of the food has suffered sadly. There’s much more authentic places in the city centre that have better value as well.

Gorgeous meal at Albert Square tonight. We were greeted as we walked in and as it was our first visit, staff explained how things worked. El served us and gave us her personal recommendations which was really helpful insight. Our starters of kimchi salad & belly pork were delicious- the belly pork was particularly cooked to perfection and the sauce was out of this world! We both had mains of pad krapow one with chicken one with pork and we thoroughly enjoyed! The toilets were clean and there were hangers for coats. We would visit here again in a flash! Thanks El!

We were served by El, and it was so yummy! Very accommodating to Vegetarians, and was super knowledgeable about the menu. Would totally recommend, very chill atmosphere and small but comfortable social eatting. (Cocktails are also great!)

Visited Tampopo in Albert Square last night before our theatre trip. The staff were all super friendly. I ordered the rare beef salad. Oh my goodness, this dish was amazing. My mouth is still watering. There were so many taste explosions on a plate. I didn't realise that this dish took so long to make, not that I was worried, but unexpectedly, we were brought some prawn crackers as a way of apologising. I'd have waited another hour to receive this meal! Our main waitress was El, she was lovely and very attentive. She engaged with all the customers that she served. It was a fabulous night, and I can't wait to go back!

This is a lovely basement based tiny restaurant. The chef cooks really wonderful food. However, the portion is too small compare with the price. However, there is 10% service charge although you do not get any real 'service' as some witresses are not very keen to serve their customers. The girl served the drink was good.

We went out as a group of 4. Our server Amel was warm and welcoming. They were very good at understanding my mispronunciations. And they were especially good at clarifying one of our parties alergies. A fanatic night. Lovely staff. Would recommend 👍

Marie from the albert square branch was really helpful and attentive. Portion was a but small for the price but nonetheless delicious.

The atmosphere and service in here was great. We got the squid and satay chicken to start and they were both amazing! As mains we got the thai red curry and the thai green curry. My boyfriend enjoyed his red curry but I couldn’t eat the green curry as the chicken was just repulsive. It was such a strange colour and tasted vile, nothing like chicken. This put me completely off and i was also unwell after eating a few pieces.

We tried the chicken satay as a starter and pad thai + nasi goreng for the main dishes. The nasi goreng was really good, the chicken satay wad ok (we tried it in Singapore before and it was much better there), but the pad thai was really disappointing. Nice to try, but I wouldn’t come back here again.

Great vegetarian options and super fast service, between sitting down and getting our food was about 10 minutes. Great drinks too, recommend the sour cherry and apple drink.

Had a really lovely time there and will definitely return again! Although it was busy on a Friday night, we were well looked after by our server Amel and we didn't need to wait long to be served or for food to arrive. Highly recommend paying this place a visit, thank you!

Fist time visiting and defo will be coming more. THE BEST SOUP. I was served by El she was lovely and suggested the Mango&lime soft drink and it was so yummy.

It was ok for a chain restaurant. I thought the portion sizes were a lot smaller than the last time I visited. I had the jackfruit masaman curry which came in a small pot. My wife had the tamarind tofu which would have been better if the tofu was crispy. Overall nice but not what I would call value for money
