Simply awful. The quality of the food frankly appalling! The chicken in our mains was manky and brown.. The potato in our Bombay aloo was disgusting and should have been thrown out not served to customers. Never again !

Had to wait to give the order for half an hour .. after placing the order and clearly mentioning that I need a mocktail , I was been served a cocktail . When asked to change the drink the waitress made a face and said that’s it’s your fault . Seems like it was my fault that the waitress didn’t know the meaning of mocktail .. worst experience ever .. never ever returning to this restaurant again .

Este restaurante abre a las 5pm, es limpio con buen ambiente y el servicio a la mesa fue súper rápido. Le di 3 estrellas, porque cuando ordenamos hicimos énfasis en el nivel de picante por tener niños con nosotros. Lastimosamente cuando nuestra comida llegó todo estuvo tan picante que no pudimos comer lo que solicitamos, que lastima. Sabemos que la comida Hindú es picante y rica en especies, pero esto era excesivo para niños.

Used to think this place was special until they were caught out. Ordered Keema and found large chunks of chopped kebabs mixed in. When I challenged the manager, he finally admitted using the left over kebabs from other diners plates to "meat up" the keema - disgusting, unhygienic and vile behaviour! I will never go here again!

This used to be a great restaurant when it first opened and warranted the higher prices in the area. Food was bland and tasted reheated. We ordered grilled chicken which was served as a curry. Service was shocking and we had to wait 10 minutes for water.

We kwamen dit restaurant toevallig tegen op weg naar het hotel terug. Dus naar binnen, uitgelegd dat we eigenlijk eerst wat wilde drinken op ons gemak voor we gingen eten.. dat was geen enkel probleem, we kregen er ook een mandje met een soort kroepoek met drie dips. Dan uiteindelijk eten besteld. Omdat we niets op de kaart kende wat advies gevraagd.. werkelijk heerlijk!!! super lekker eten.. Er stond een bordje bij met uien en citroen en wat lijkt op boontjes... PAS OP.. dat zijn dus zeer pittige pepers.. maar wel erg lekker! Kortom zeker de moeite waard om hier te gaan eten. Je kunt dat eigenlijk al zien omdat de local's hier ook heen gaan. Het is ook prima geschikt voor mindervaliden, het toilet bijvoorbeeld is groot genoeg voor een rolstoel.

Great food served with a smile. Excellent value for money. Would recommend anyone in the are to and check it out. You will not be disappointed

Good spot in Hounslow for ice cold beer and generous servings of curry. Their momos are good too. I had a lamb Rogan Josh that had too much chilli.My cousin had number 1 grilled lamb chops (4) We had naans and poppadoms.Good service. Very nice evening

As a group of 8 rugby fans we have been looking for a good Indian resturant for years to go to after twickenham matches and have now found it! The staff were excellent, attentive, and polite. The food outstanding and quickly delivered at a reasonable price. Every member of the party was impressed with the quality of the food, the speed of delivery and the helpfulness of the staff. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. 10/10

Was looking for somewhere to eat after seeing the lights at Kew and chanced upon this place. Place full of local families which was a good sign. Service faultless, food excellent. Good size portions so often will serve two. No frills but good value and nice ambiance. Didn’t realise till later that I could have parked conveniently in the Hounslow West car park opposite.

Impromptu visit and pleasantly suprised. Food was tasty with the right amount of spice and reasonably priced. Would defo recommend if you're looking for a good indian!

Have been ordering food here and dining regularly. Great quality, excellent taste and good flavour. Also the portions are very generous. Dishes to try(my favourite) are tandoori chicken, chicken 65, dal makhani, dal tadka, veg curry and garlic naan. The breads are really very good here. Only few dishes which are below average is their Biryani(crap to be honest) compared to the rest of menu dishes and also Biryani as a dish itself. Also the lamb curries not so great. I hope they change the way they prepare it. It looks more like they prepare it like tawa pulav in a pan. No seasoning and taste too. Went for dinner this evening, had Chicken Korma and Biryani. The biryani dish was not brilliant. The chicken just had an extra chewy consistency and wasn’t very nice at all. Did mention it to the waitress, she did apologise but didn’t say she would pass on the feedback.

Stopped in for dinner our last night in London. We were happy to find it was open as the last time we tried to eat here it was closed. We started with the grilled paneer appetizer which was excellent. We then had Bombay Aloo which was good but my wife thought it was dry. We also had the chicken Madras which was spicy but had a strange flavor to it, not near as good as when we have had it in the past. The butter naan and the pilau rice was excellent. The Cobra beer was cold and excellent. Service was very polite and friendly and overall we would recommend.

I went for my passport renewal and on the way stopped at this restauarant without any recommendation from anyone, but when the food arrived , it was mouth watering. Staff was very good and post bill my daughter wanted a ice cream bowl, which she had and when i asked for bill, they didn't billed me for the ice-creeam. Taka tak is a great place to eat authentic north Indian and into Chinese food. Very reasonably priced and great quality, spicy food one can enjoy in this eating place. It is always crowded which is a sign of great place to eat.

I visited TakaTak last year for my fathers 70th Birthday. The service was amazing and the staff were very friendly. We had a lovely meal and the whole restaurant and customers got involved and sang ‘Happy Birthday’. The favourites were the Vegetable Mo Mo’s (which are delicious and made perfectly!) , Gobi 65 (mouth watering) , Takaa Tak Paneer (not too spicy and very yummy) and the saag paneer. Everything was perfect. Thank you Bhupinder for making my fathers 70’th very memorable.

We have eaten here in the past and. We tried to have dinner here on November 13th. It was closed and looked as though they might have purchased the space nextdoor and are in the process of renovating as both spaces are gutted out. Hopefully this is only temporary and they will be back.

We have eaten here before and it is as good as ever! Generous portions of very tasty food served on hot plates which is essential. Naan breads are excellent! Great prompt service, clean, good toilets too.
