Visited with my partner during the evening of the 04/03/24 for a bite to eat on our way back home after visiting family locally. Typical chain pub, food was reasonable but tasty. Dogs made very welcome, in a non carpeted area, and we were given a bowl of water for our dog without having to ask. Ladies toilet needs urgent attention, so cold there, I don't think bugs would survive !. Needs a total refurb and redecorating. Toilet seat was loose and door locks not secure. Screw holes in the walls where toilet roll holders used to be fixed. Hygiene standards need attention. Staff appeared friendly and helpfull.

Had a beautiful steak today, this must be the 4th or 5th steak I’ve had here and they have all been stunning, I’ve had my steaks on a Thursday promotion £13.50 for a steak and a drink, which in my opinion is excellent value. Will be back again.

The food in this place seems to have had a turnaround, plenty of it, warm and tasty. Had the usual warm welcome and tentative service but the food has definitely stepped up to the mark. The only negative is the smell of the toilet cleaner as you come in through the main door, its a bit overpowering.

Popped in for lunch. This is quite local to us so have visited for years. Staff were friendly. However food was unacceptable. Chips were greasy and tasted and looked as if they had been cooked a while ago. Chicken in the baguette was questionable. Will not eat here again but will return for drinks. Please improve the quality of your food.

Had a Sunday Roast which was tasty but not very warm, it seemed that they did not have enough staff. Service was a bit slow.

Disgusting food, I wouldn't even feed it to my dog! They shouldn't be serving such slop! How can they make the worst Sunday lunch? Black roast potatoes, half a slice of beef that was like rubber, carrots that were black, roast potatoes that we soggy and stuffing which was raw! Didn't find the mashed potatoes. DO NOT GO HERE!

Food arrived but my steak pie was cold in the middle. I made a complaint at the bar and my son finished his meal and I received my replacement which was clearly burnt black on cutting into it! This was my first visit and I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The location is quite nice and there are plenty of different areas to sit and enjoy your food. The food was good and the menu has lots to offer. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Called late afternoon, it was not busy. Ordered Gammon, and a vegetarian chilli. The food was only warm, the chips were awful, a small portion of chilli, egg was overcooked, and Gammon was dry. Asked for my chili to be reheated, waited quite a while...

Christmas came early !!! Truly fantastic experience well beyond our expectations. The building was like a Christmas grotto ,The table was set with Christmas ware, napkins and crackers which made our meal fun and festive, eco friendly crackers which impressed with their wooden tree decorations. The staff were friendly polite and attentive and the food was sublime, just like a well loved home cooked Christmas dinner, we had vegan, vegetarian and meat eating guests and we were all well catered for. Just the right amount of time was left between us eating our mains to serving of desserts which allowed us to enjoy some family time together and leaving us feeling we were ready for dessert, again exceptional. The whole package well surpassed the price paid and can honestly say that it brought the festive feeling and what will be many cherished memories, as a family who will be spending Christmas apart the experience gave us the magic we would have otherwise missed. If we are ever in the area again Tafarn Tanerdy will be number one on our list, many thanks

We had a great time at Tanerdy Lodge yesterday. The venue was spotless, creating a welcoming atmosphere with the Xmas decorations being up. Kudos to the friendly staff who made the experience even better. I am highly impressed and looking forward to visiting again, especially with the voucher deals.

A ladies lunch chat. Food excellent, staff very helpful and attentive. This pub has upped its game since our last visit some time ago. If it carries on the good work will visit again soon and recommend to friends.

We ordered food. It took a long time to come. Looked like they were short staffed. When food did come it was luke warm and not complete. The vegetables for lunch came about 5-10 mins after. The fish which my 93yr old grandad has didn't look very appealing. The chips had been cooked a few times swimming in grease. Roast potatoes were like pebbles. Not very impressed.

This is a large pub / diner with a good selection of meals, it was not that busy when we visited. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was pretty good and competitively priced and there was a good selection of drinks available. There is plenty of parking available all in all worth a visit if you are in the area.
