Taco Mazama in Glasgow City

Not disabled or buggy friendly. Staff didn’t offer to help getting in the door.

Good quality tacos for a place so far from the Mexican boarder. However, Im not going to remember it as one of the best Mexican feeds I’ve ever had, left still a bit hungry, the atmosphere was a little lacking, and the staff, although friendly enough, seemed a little bit sick of their shift.

I was in for a takeaway chicken wrap, unfortunately the chicken was a cold 😞 It was my wee boys first wrap there as he normally want to go to Taco bell, but i want him to try somewhere new... It would have been nice if it was hot . 😔

paid extra for guac on quesadilla and this wasnt on it unfortunately -also asked for sour cream on quesdailla and didn't get burrito was nice

food: where do we even start ... the white fluffy string (?) in the rice is so alarming and totally put us off. keep in mind one of us spent £12 odd for this. so rogue would not recommend. and i know this is probably meant to be like this but the black beans in the juice are *scary*. service: this was mid. the staff are nice i guess. atmosphere: the music is fun kinda giving firewater a run for its money but the smell is awful (i know its a taco/burrito/vile potato shop but its a concerning smell). okay ye done but at least were not gonna spend so much money from now on :)

Ordered off Uber eats, have some allergy issues so contacted the shop directly, guys couldn’t have been more helpful. Recommend the burritos and taco’s definitely.

Was in taco Mazama today and I’ve got to say the food and staff are brilliant very pleasant and food was amazing I ordered the Quesadilla and potatoes . I will 110% be back honestly couldn’t get better shout out to Paul also

Food is always *bangin'* !!! But I always appreciate the great selection of music, the atmosphere and exceptional customer service. The staff are great and always go above and beyond and are extra friendly & helpful.

I love this place. Though the food may not be the most "authentic", it is delicious and reasonably priced, and they do a great job of accommodating allergies and other food needs.

Finally a mexican place that grasps the idea of mexican food. Cheap and tasty.

Friendly folks serving a variety of tasty dishes. We popped in on impulse and were glad we did - really enjoyed it. Quiet when we were there, which was appreciated. Cost about £11 each for regular burrito and drink, large portion. Nice!

I usually get the quesadilla and it's amazing. But I ordered the enchilada this time, and for the price it is NOT worth it. It arrived so cold I had to stick it in the oven before I could eat it. The chicken was overcooked and the peppers are undercooked! No sour cream, too many jalapeños. Terrible. At least the glass bottle of Coke was good

First time buyer ordering Mexican food, it was alright, I would say need a little more flavour but hey, at least we experienced Mexican food.. :))

Great for students as there is a discount. Food can be made in literally 1 minute. Staff always friendly.

Ordered the burritos but yet again the driver has handed over cold food. I don't know if this is a recurring restaurant issue or if it's the way the food is transported for delivery but this seems to be quite common from Taco Mazama :(

My partner and I came in today, later in the day and was surprised to see how quiet it was and was worried. We were pleasantly surprised by a friendly service and spectacular food order. My partner had the pulled pork and I had the Veggie Chilli, we shared nachos and it was better than most subways I have had! The staff catered towards my dietary requirements, making the distinction between me being vegetarian or vegan. All in all a great little place, would definitely return again and I would love to see this business in more places.

Food was absolutely awesome and the staff were great, friendly and helpful! My partner got the vegan option and it was delicious, as was my pulled pork. :)

very cozy mexican café. so, i ordered a king size burrito without noticing their board for burrito challenge winners 😂 their portion is MASSIVE. so for one person regular or even small size is okay 👍 and they have separate discounted burrito options for students as well ✨ just opposite to Pret (Byers Road). and I loved their Mexican lemonade so I will highly recommend that with your burrito ✅ overall.. I liked it🌯

Food and initial service was good; tables, seating and overall look was grubby. Some cutlery unavailable, staff disinterested in helping.

The place looks dirty and the staff seemed miserable and unhappy. There is a clear lack of proper training and they treat customers poorly. Other branches have better customer service and it is a shame that this one is closer to our flat.

Quite poor. Potential is there but the place is a bit grubby and staff don’t conduct themselves particularly well in my experiences.

Usually these are lovely burritos but the delivery driver must have placed them on top of frozen food because they arrived really cold as if they'd been stored in a fridge overnight. Shame.

Got 3 nachos with tofu. Wasn't impressed with the flavour, quite bland. Small portions too. Staff were nice.

I was in with a friend and had some delicious food that was served quickly. However the experience was affected by a member of staff (I believe Paul) who was shouting and swearing at a female colleague. Paul left and returned from the staff room at least three times during my 30 minute visit, each time with a confrontational and unprofessional attitude which was verbalised through expletives and a raised voice in front of all customers. Shame to see someone being treated that way.

No guacamole, paid extra for it. Tortilla very dry. Usually a lot better

delivery time kept getting put back due to a lack of drivers which pushed the delivery window back by about an hour, food was fantastic though as always!

The delivery person could not follow instructions on getting to Art Gallery which is one of largest buildings in Glasgow. By the time I got food (15 mins after I spoke to him) the burrito was cold. He carried it in plain paper bag and not insulated bag. The paper bag was soggy as were napkins in it. All in very disappointing. Food flavour was ok and I’m sure if it had been hot it would have been very good.

enjoyed the food and might order in the future, but won’t be sitting in. the staff looked so miserable and sounded like they didn’t want to be there, which is fair enough, but i just felt like a nuisance and it didn’t make for a nice atmosphere. the place was “dead” (as the staff referred to it), so we were served quickly, but they still ignored part of our order somehow. still, it’s a bit too expensive for what they offer.. but it tastes nice. and i appreciate the vegan options!

I've always had a good experience eating here whether eating in or taking away. The staff are always friendly, the food is always good and there's usually enough seating to sit in should I want to when I visit around lunchtime.

As someone who is gluten sensitive, I really like that they offer a burrito bowl, and i love getting mine enchilada style. One of my favorite places here in glasgow

Horrendous food, poorly made and the rice was actually still incredibly hard. Delivery driver absolutely lovely.

I am sick of this place claiming they serve good food. Ordered the largest item on the menu, not bigger than a biro pen! The portions are poor and the food is average at best. £26 for a burrito and an enchilada!!! If I was to rate this Mexican against the rest in Glasgow, it is the worst!

The amazing food that I ordered was for my wife's birthday and I asked a Happy Birthday note from me to be put in, which they did and also put extra items (nachos + sides) in plus a Happy Birthday message from them, brilliant customer service and would highly recommend

Always been great, however this time the vegetarian burrito the brown rice was hard in parts of the burrito. Which I couldn’t eat.

I ordered and paid for 5 Chicken Burritos but only 4 arrived, I called them but they were unhelpful and said they has given the driver 5, I then said but he only delivered 4 and could they send him back with the 5th one, they said they didn't have his number and I should ask for a refund... I then explained I didn't want a refund as someone was going to be without dinner and they said they could not send another one....not great!

I am not sure why I keep using Justeat…I am housebound due to cancer but every delivery is always cold!!! I would like full refund rather than the £5 credit as I never want to use you again …sort it out please

Very nice and good customer service. Not sure if you had run out or if they were forgotten but if so pleaseeeee remember the lettuce, cheese, sour cream and Pico De Gallo (Mild) in the Fajita as its a bit like no salt and vinegar on fish and chips lol.

Just bought a medium burrito ,I got home and its half the size of usual, I have been a regular visitor to Taco Mazama and not cool to do this to a regular customer, was served by a woman light hair, July 14 at 7:30 pm. VERY DISapointed

Great food very tasty .l can't say how outstanding the service from the restaurant is l forgot to change the address on my phone to my home and l called the restaurant who were so helpful at getting my order cancelled for me l then done a reorder and when l got my order l got free chips and dip that the restaurant did not have to give as the mix up was all my own fault .100%recommend

The beans were almost completely uncooked and they were entirely inedible. I will never order from this location again. You need to teach your employees how to actually cook the food you sell.

Usually I love Taco Mazama but the burrito I received the other day wasn’t good. The beans were hard as was the rice, making it a rather unpleasant experience.
