Always busy each time we've come in. Staff are always friendly and nothing is never too much hassle. Kids eat free on breakfast with a paying adult what a bargain over half term

We often visit The Beeches pub and restaurant for dinner and on this occasion for breakfast.. Usually we have breakfast before setting off on our travels... Great way to start the day and then set up for the journey... We opted for the full menu.. Continental buffet and a hot breakfast... There is an option for continental buffet only.. Book in and pay on arrival... although I do recommend booking in advance on the Beeches website... can be very busy at times... Member of staff shows you to your table.. Help yourself to the buffet style continental and selection of drinks.. Tea coffee and juice etc . The cooked unlimited breakfast order is taken and cooked fresh in the kitchen.. We have only ever been happy with the food and the service here.. And is why we return..

Had the fish pie, which was full of fish and tasted great. My wife's steak was good and cooked to her liking. Beer was OK and wine good. A meeting with old friends for a catch-up.

Have come a few times , but yesterday was the worst food and service we've ever had , staff showed lack of interest had a 5 mins wait to be seated ( a "will be with you soon" would help) there was a queue of people waiting, were taken to the table B4 we could think and sit down was bombed with "what do you want to drink" (felt rushed ) , 15 mins later food order taken but it was an hour after sitting down food arrived (place wasn't packed) 1 meal was cold and sent back , another meal parts we're luke warm , the chips on all the plates looked unappealing and over cooked , staff looked miserable (personnel think it was under staffed and they'd had enough) we didn't fancy waiting for ages for pudding so left , won't be in a hurry to return for a while .

Booked a table at 9.30am had to ask a member of staff to take our order and we didn’t receive our food until 10.30am. Very very very poor service and extremely slow

Recent visit- Failed to book us after my wife rang a week in advance. Then, put us on a table out the way. After this farce, they cocked up one order after upgrading and missed 2 peoples meals. Leaving the table to awkwardly wait whilst the food goes cold or eat without the full table. My family of 7 who have been going regular every 2 weeks will not be returning.

9 of us yesterday for Mothers Day. As usual food was lovely , bit of a wait for courses , but wasn't a problem . The staff although very busy , we're all polite and professional

Came for a meal tonight to celebrate my sisters 40th birthday, Aiden is an absolute credit to your team, he went out of his way to make sure we were all happy , nothing was to much trouble for him, there were 17 of us and all of us will definitely be coming back in the future. I actually came from Birkenhead tonight and will definitely be back

Food great. Poor service somewhat rude. Noisy table across from us,a quite word by staff would have been appreciated. Seemed understaffed . Bar staff had to drag themselves away from chatting to each other.

Really welcoming and friendly service from the moment I went to the bar to the moment we were all seated for our meal right to the moment we left. Food was lovely and have already recommended to others who've asked me.

Disappointing. Only popped in for drink. Had one and left. Not a place you’d choose to go to. Knackered furniture. Tables covered in used glasses. Staff not interested. Didn’t use for breakfast the next day.

We were part of a group of 20 that had booked weeks in advance. We were the first table to book and although the other 2 people on our table got their food fairly quickly. Our food didn't arrive until well after they had finished,with other tables being served before us. After going to the bar to ask were our food was. It finally arrived but luke warm. As an ex publican I would have certainly had extra staff on knowing I had a large group in. Poor management,staff seemed stressed and flustered and to top it all off the only draught real ale was stale and was returned by 3 people. You only get one chance to make an impression in the catering and hospitality trade and unfortunately the beeches was lacking in all departments

Pop in for a late dinner with a friend had a slight wait to be seated but nothing major food was lovely a slight delay on getting our coffee's but again no real issues, think we were one of the last people to leave as we were too budy chatting away, xx will be back x thank you

Stay well clear from this establishment! For the extra 5 minute journey, you would be better off going into Gresford village, as there are various food outlets there. As for The Beeches, I will never dine here again. I don't know what was worse, the quality of the food or the staff attitudes'. The place seems to be run by youngsters who have got no customer service experience whatsoever, and neither have the management. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! You would be better off buying a packet of crips from the SPAR. I feel that the company needs to shine a spotlight on The Beeches and make major improvements e.g. management, customer service skills, and quality of food.

I went with a few of my friends for breakfast, which was great The food was lovely and was pretty quick to be delivered on the table. This is one of those restaurants where do you get your own coffee and toast etc and everything was great , the only one issue was the toaster did take an eternity, to toast the bread 🍞. The staff were amazing and had a great attitude. They were only too willing to help. A great place for breakfast if you want to pop in

Having spent 7 months working away from home staying at the Premier Inn and having breakfast and an evening meal hear both on my own and with colleagues I cannot recommend the beeches and its staff enough. From the first night I walked in getting greeted by Wendy and arranging a table to my last night/meal there. The staff have been nothing but amazing in trying to bend over backwards to facilitate and make our time away from home easier. Special thanks to Wendy, Aiden, Graham, Dean and Yaz for everything you have done to make my time away better. I will miss coming to the beeches and seeing you all.

What was meant to just be drinks with friends turned into food time out. We hadn't booked and wasn't sure a table of 5 was available, we were asked by the host if a high bar table is okay and we reply yes please. Every staff member on was friendly, smiling and helpful to any questions we had. Thank you Wendy, Aiden, Jess and Sarah

Went here with my husband for breakfast and I really loved how the place looked! It was nice and cozy with staff being really nice. We got an egg toastie and an assortment of sausages, hash brown, ham and eggs for breakfast. Definitely a place to go back to!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant for both breakfast and a memorable Christmas dinner with my family. The overall experience was nothing short of exceptional. The breakfast options were delicious, and the Christmas dinner was truly a special occasion. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience with their loved ones.

First time in visiting for a couple of years. To say it has gone downhill would be an understatement. The rudest, ignorant manager with staff and food to match. No wonder there was only 10 disappointed looking customers. Stay well clear for the time being.

AVOID AT ALL COST! I normally don't leave bad reviews but, this has got to be the worst pub you can be a patron. If i could give ø stars I would. The attitude and behaviour from the staff is DISGUSTING, BELITTLING, RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL,AND A DARN RIGHT DISGRACE! A BUNCH OF BULLYS! I have been to this pub a few times in the past and never had a good experience, I wouldn't even let my dogs eat here. The food is terrible and the staff are worse! and the place is an overall joke. The owners should be ashamed of what happened today 😤 hopefully they see this and re- think the way they do business with paying customers. I would STAY VERY CLEAR of this place, unless you enjoy being ripped off, bullied and humiliated. Shame on you @the beeches. ......... would not recommend 👎

Really friendly staff which is even more impressive considering we went on Christmas eve. They didn't make us feel rushed at all. Food was lovely and there was a good amount of space between tables.

Dreadful. Food was awful deep-fried rubbish served lukewarm and in tiny portions. They must have teenagers working in the kitchen.

Would of given a 5 but the toaster takes sooooooooo long.

Attended with a party of 15 being 5 children 10 adults for Christmas dinner pre booked at £56 per adult and think £17 per child. The menu stated adult meal came with glass of champagne and was far from the case, we had to go to the end of the bar to be given a small glass beaker with not even half of the champagne in it. When the food arrived the children’s starters were extremely poor as Christmas tree pizza from what as described was far from it and the garlic bread was rubbish and very thin. One of the staff who was serving the meal and taking the orders for drinks was very rude on occasions especially when a member of the party mentioned that a number of the meals were wrong and that the adults roast dinners were also wrong and items missing. The meat was extremely poor as I ordered the trip of meats and didn’t touch any of it. The veg was hard and not cooked enough and the roast potatoes were frozen potatoes not a single effort had gone into that preparation for Christmas dinners at all extremely disappointed for the price of it per person and the amount of us who had booked weeks in advance to be there. The tables didn’t even get cleaned prior our visit and where I was sat there was food and salt all over the table. Surely it don’t take much to make sure that the experience of paying guests is met and even more so when they have paid a hell of a lot of money to be there. I’ve had a nicer roast dinner there months ago but again the veg was the same as what we received on the 25 December. My little girl didn’t even touch her food and went hungry till I got home and it ruined the experience of going out for Christmas dinner to this venue again as we have attended here for birthday celebrations in large groups. Really disappointed

I took my children to The Beeches on Friday evening for a birthday meal for my 12 year old daughter, and we had a really pleasant time. The food was great, good value, and service time was quick. Wendy was fantastic and very friendly as always - she’s a credit to the company. She knew we were coming in for my daughter’s birthday so she’d arranged to put up a birthday banner at our table, and when dessert came out she’d gone to the trouble of making a lovely gesture of decorating the plate with a birthday message and a candle, and she and another member of staff gave a rendition of happy birthday. Thanks for making it a lovely visit!

Festive meal wasnt up to scratch, first meal was cold, asked for a replacement ,that was abit warmer than the first one. The desert wasnt that nice either, they were short staffed, i thought i would have got a discount as had to pay full price for a dissapointing meal

Will Not be returning… Small group of us went for breakfast, which we have done multiple times over years….but It was terrible………the bacon was wafer thin and so over cooked I couldn’t eat it. Half of the orders missing off the plate so had to wait for that…..was not worth the wait. Very disappointed

I've stayed at the hotel across the road before; popped in for a cheeky pint; and was recognised. Nice touch from the girls! Booked a table for dinner; no issues, thanks Wendy. The best thing about Wendy and Yasmin; the computer systems had crashed; so it was cash only; dealing with a busy bar and restaurant; these two just dealt with it, in a professional and happy manner; they where obviously stressed! I expect other reviews; will complain over a situation; that they had no control of! Well done!

Excellent Staff and service this evening the food was great too!

The food is okay but mediocre as you’d expect (very eighties) at this price point and location but the service is horrendous. I’m left waiting to get a table whilst being stared at, I’m waiting to order dessert or the bill for over half an hour. It’s frankly ridiculous.

The food is very delicious and the staffs are so friendly. They offer food with great standard. Must try the unlimited cooked breakfast. The ambience is also a added a bonus to this restaurant

We have visited the Beeches as a family on numerous occasions. We find the staff very friendly, Suzanne is most helpful and takes the time to make sure my parents are well looked after.

We had dinner (two couples) in The Beeches recently (12th October). Yes, we very much enjoyed our evening - our meals (mains and desserts; drinks) were great, and reasonably priced. However, as the title indicates, this review wishes to recognise the superb work of the staff there. I reckon we were served/looked after by four different members of staff, each of whom was really friendly, helpful, cheerful, efficient and welcoming. Good for them - a great advert for The Beeches. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable!

I am in North Wales for work. The Beeches restaurant is so convenient to travel to by public transport and own transport. It has plenty of car parking facilities. Upon my arrival the management and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were welcomed by Aiden, who was dressed very professionally. We were then served by a lady called Wendy who was very smiley and helpful. Me and my colleagues had multiple allergies and they walked through the menu with us, they were very patient. My party had three courses, and all courses were mouth watering. By the time we had finished our desserts we were comfortably full. The restaurant has a nice, warm, homely feeling. We will defiantly be coming back to this restaurant when we come away on business

Only ever go for the breakfast at a weekend, which always is a good filler

Inconsistent. Long wait today which was a shame. Change to the menu also huge disappointment. The food was very inconsistent with two people ordering the same dish….. The quantity of chips varied as did the temperature… Lukewarm. smothered chicken, absolutely waste of time with a handful of chips and a single breast covered with barbecue sauce, side salad no more …. Left feeling very hungry still! Such a shame as I come here regularly

Mid week visit for the brilliant value for money menu. Very lucky to get a table as due to staffing issues there were no more bookings being taken. I do worry the Beeches will loose their reputation and their excellent staff ( special mention to Kat and Susanne) if they do not sort out their understaffed restaurant. On this visit there was a very busy young woman with small baby in tow working. Literally nursing her baby whilst serving the table's. On making enquiries , turns out she is a manager there, but currently on maternity leave. Due to staff shortages they had to turn to her to come into work , with her baby ! Oh dear, what a shame the restaurant has not got a plan in place for those situations. I felt so sorry for the staff waiting on that day, and the kitchen staff. You can only be expected to do so much, and I worry that you will realise you can't be the person who keeps everyone happy. You don't get paid enough for that. Whitbread Inn's get your act together and don't rely on the goodwill of your excellent staff. You will loose them, and I will have to look elsewhere for a a favourite local eatery. I just found it a little stressful this visit , even tho the food was good as usual, and Susanne and the mummy with the baby still smiling. You deserve a medal

Had to go try some of the new menu items, I had the mac and cheese bites and the cheesecake. 10/10 they are both delicious! Main meal wise, I usually go for either the lasagne or BBQ chicken, so can highly recommend either of these dishes, but on this occasion, I had the chicken tikka curry and it was gorgeous 😋

Went for lunch Wednesday afternoon. The table we were seated at was grubby and still had the tail end of someone else’s mess (bits of onion and other large crumbs) all over it. My hubby and I had the Double Stack Burger. It was very small and unfortunately luke warm. Certainly not worth the price. The fries that came with it were very few and not at all appetising; also barely warm. We’d have sent it back, but we were starving. However, the girl who showed us to our seat and the girl who served us were friendly and polite. Don’t think we’ll be rushing to go again.

We are regulars at the beeches. The food is excellent and always has something on the menu that is just what you fancy on that visit. The staff are absolutely amazing! They know us by name now and always have a friendly chat with me and my family. I can not recommend the beeches enough! 5*

Breakfast selection was brilliant just needed one or two more staff as you have to order cooked food as its not help yourself and the waiter was rushed off her feet

When we visited, after a wait at the seating station before being acknowledged they didn't have a table free, which was ok because we hadnt made a reservation. They didn't try to accommodate us at a later time, we were just dismissed. Staff were very unenthusiastic, didn't interact with clientele, even basic eye contact whilst waiting to be served was non exsitant. The pub wasn't full over the 3 nights we visited (for drinks only) but yet tables remained dirty with plates and glasses both inside and outside for long periods of time. Plates cleared to the bar, remained sat on the bar with food waste on them for in excess of an hour. Unsightly with basic house keeping being overlooked. Staff need refresher training in basic customer service!

There was no has available to have draught coke and this is the 2nd time that we have had to send our meals back due to them being stone cold. Three of us had the Sunday roast. The gammon was as thin as a slice...

Went to the Three Beaches with my partner, waited an hour for our food, then asked for a dessert menu and wait 10 minutes for that, after receiving the dessert menu the staff proceeded to walk past us and mess around with balloons, took 25...

We had an offer through on email and decided we would try lunch there. Wow! I’m so glad we did. We haven’t been for a long time as it went a bit down hill but my word what a difference. The service was excellent, seated...

Went to the beeches today for lunch with family. I recommend visiting as the food was lovely and great value for money. We were served by a lovely lady named Kat, she was very friendly and very helpful. Will definatly be visiting again.

This spot is lovely for a chilled meal with the family. I came in with family on Monday and was welcomed by a fab waitress called Kat. She was very assertive and provide a great experience for us at the Beeches

First time at the Beeches for about 6 weeks and I have to say the meal I had tonight was one of the best yet.The chicken platter was fantastic and my partners meal was just as good also service to match in very hot conditions.Well...

Great service from Wendy and her team on a busy evening. We were staying at the Premier Inn and hadn't booked but they fitted us in quickly and were very accommodating to our young children. Friendly, professional service with a big smile.

Booked last minute on bank holiday weekend. I can't fault this place. The food was lovely. Kids enjoyed their 3 course meal. The service was first class !. Special mention to Gaz who served our food with a smile , even after a wobbly dessert, he recovered with a further smile and humour. Thanks for a lovely meal guys 😀
