We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea today at T-post. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Everyone had a lovely smile and warm welcome. Can't fault anything, in fact we can't wait to come back!! A cute little spot that clearly everyone loves. Food was absolutely fantastic, we had our eyes on all the dishes coming out from the kitchen and they all looked amazing! Well done team T-Post!

This place is absolutely awesome - as are the staff. The sweet treats, afternoon tea and burgers are all incredible. The challenge is not going every day they are open. Food is delicious, staff are super friendly and helpful. Best place around for sweet treats hands down. Try it you will not regret it!!

Lovely tearoom with a good choice of cakes and a simple savoury menu which is always served hot and well cooked. I had the Cajun chicken with halloumi which was delicious.

Popped up frequently as an advert on Facebook, thought we try it. It's a small venue, maybe three tables inside, but there's some outdoor roofed overhead heated seating space, probably ideal for the summer. Not to be fazed we sat outside where we had table service. Staff lovely and chatty and attentive. They pointed out that there was overhead heating for each table.. At the push of a button, on a minute timer (bit of a pain continously hitting the button to stay warm) We ordered from their lunchtime menu having missed breakfast cut off by five minutes (our mistake, not theirs) My partner requested tea to drink and a Belting Bagel. Myself, i plumped for the Chiabatta toasted steak sandwich with onions with seasoned skin on fries, peppercorn sauce and slaw on the side. Cappuccino coffee to drink. All looked wonderfully presented. Eyes bigger than our bellies we took home two desserts to eat later. Total price £35 Wife wants to go back next weekend.

We visited the T Post today for afternoon tea having read the fantastic reviews it receives. Everything was good, the food, atmosphere and service. It was slightly chilly where we were sat and one of the staff thought it might be so she offered us warm blankets if we needed them which was a lovely touch. We were brought finger sandwiches, mini sausage rolls and quiche with crisps and homemade coleslaw which was delicious, then a selection of sweet treats and a huge warm scone! Unfortunately couldn't manage the scone as we were full so the waitress brought us a box and tubs of jam and cream to go. It is obviously a popular place to go as there was a steady stream of people buying takeaway savouries and pastries, we will definitely visit again.

I've been before and had no issues, but I doubt I'll visit again. My wife and I went for a breakfast. I asked for a hard yolk for my egg and brown toast, but was brought a runny egg and white toast. Not a big deal as mistakes can easily happen. However - the waitress seemed very put out at my request to please swap them out (which I did very respectfully I might add). In general she seemed unwelcoming, but I hadn't thought anything of it until this point. Unbeknownst to her, my wife had just used the toilet and was perusing the cakes as the waitress came back in. She heard the waitress grumpily say "fussy sod wants a hard egg and white toast". The young man she said this to, I believe is the owner. He muttered an expletive, which I shall not repeat here, but it was in reference to myself. My wife came back out and confirmed with me it was myself that had just made the request. We chose not to make a complaint at the time as my wife really wanted to move on and enjoy the rest of our day visiting our grandchildren. In summary - poor attitude and customer service (no complaints on the quality of the food).

Poor customer service and most staff are not friendly. If something is their fault they will blame you. Will not be returning.

We moved to South Milford in August and this is one of our favourite places to go for breakfast or lunch. Pricey, but definitely worth the extra cost due to the quality of the food and service.

My Dad visited T-Post a few months ago, whilst visiting family, & absolutely raved about it! He even saved some of their delicious cakes for his visit to us 200 miles down South as they were SO good! We got the opportunity to visit last weekend & I can confirm, their breakfast & cakes are out of this world!!!! The white biscoff rocky Road & flapjack has to be my favourite, however, our family also enjoyed a cookie pie, crumble, cheesecake, blondie, brownie & brookie - all absolutely delicious! Finally, we also tried their food and oh my god, YES! Their veggie breakfast, baps, chicken & chips and burgers... all absolutely delicious!! T-Post have hit the nail on the head and provide the cafe of dreams that every home wants just down the road! Well done to all of the team - we cannot wait to visit again!! ❤️

Such a lovely little stop off on our dog walk. The new area outside is gorgeous and felt so festive too. The heaters are great! Of course we ordered the buttermilk chicken goujons, our favourite dish. All of the food is so fresh and quality ingredients. The staff are always friendly and welcoming too. We couldn't leave without choosing some sweet treats to take home with us. The options are out of this world! Never had desserts like them, totally spoilt for choice. T-Post is perfect for whatever you're after, don't miss the chance to go!

I’d been trying to get a slot last min for a while now. I managed today and wow it was worth the wait. Absolutely outstanding double smash burger and buttermilk chicken loaded fries. Best burger I’ve had and i do not say that lightly. Just need to decide which day to pre book an order on again next week. Thank you 👌

The best little restaurant in South Milford! Big queues at peak times but that is because of their great quality and fair value. If you have not yet tried this place out, do.

Wonderful place full of tasty food, so tasty it's hard to choose. From savouries to buns and hot and cold drinks including awesome milkshakes. They also do made to order birthday cakes. Only small inside, so best to book if you want to sit in but a lovely outdoor seating area. Can't wait to go again!

The sausage rolls are amazing. The hot chocolate is delicious. And the club Sandwich is epic. And then you look at the cakes and you're in heaven.

One of the best afternoon teas we've had for a long time. Everything homemade, super fresh and tasty. Would definitely return.

Beat all expectations. I went on Friday for the first time for their burger takeaway service. I was expecting something decent but of pretty much a normal takeaway standard. I was so wrong. The burgers were amazing and amongst the best ive tasted - clearly homemade or butcher made rather than processed factory rubbish. Portion sizes werd huge (granted it was the big boss burger) and couldn't finish the meal. Got some shortbread as an extra treat and couldn't fault it. Will 100% be returning

This is in response to the owners comments on my original review, I would have edited my original post but google won't allow me to... First of all I checked on google when you would be open and you state opening hours are Wednesday 9-3.30pm. thu, fri and sat 9-8.30pm sunday 9-2pm so, if I arrive at 1430 to find the kitchen closed then, yes I will be a bit miffed and leave a review accordingly. I did not dispute that your staff went above and beyond and left a review I deemed appropriate as the other 3 stars would have been for the food. I respectfully suggest you edit your google opening times to reflect the opening times of the kitchen to prevent misleading the public into thinking the kitchen is open when it isn't and thus receiving a critique that upsets you! I've left you 3 stars this time just to prevent your ego from being bruised a 2nd time. I've no doubt the business will flourish without my custom as after your fit of pique I probably won't be back

We love the T-Post, especially breakfasts and afternoon teas. Staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly. The food is fresh and homemade with a great selection. From take aways, to celebration cakes, pizzas and smokey grills, the team do a brilliant job and it is our go to place for a sweet treat.

We travelled 2 hours on 17/12/21 to visit this place after watching Danny’s Rate My Takeaway video. I was under pressure as it was my Mrs’ Birthday but there was nothing to worry about as it was Tremendous! We had everything Danny had and it was a taste sensation. The staff were lovely and obliging and we were well looked after. I just wish we lived closer!

Friendly welcome to two first time visitors. Amazing selection of cakes and pastries, and my sausage sandwich was lovely. Limited seating inside and a nice sheltered outside eating area. We will be back when passing!

Can't comment on the food as the kitchen closes at 1430. Staff were courteous and helpful hence the 2 stars. As I don't do Facebook I cant access the website either shame as I was keen to try the food after seeing the review on rate my takeaway

Great food, great service. Want to go for go for ages and took my 2yr old for breakfast today. They were so lovely with her and she loved their scrambled eggs. We will be back whrn we've finished all our treats that we bought to take away

Visited for Sunday lunch with my son and daughter-in-law. What a surprise! Excellent food, served with a smile. Cakes to die for. We sat outside as it was a lovely day. The tearoom looks quite small inside so I hope that they have heaters outside during the colder months. Great tea and coffee and the biggest red velvet cake I have ever seen!

We’ve been here for breakfast a few times. Today we came for brunch after an early morning walk. The food is always delicious, and the menu is great (not too large). Don’t forget to either have cake or buy some to take home. It’s to die for ... so good!

My husband treated me to an afternoon tea from the T post for my birthday, we were so impressed. Very generous and great quality. Came in a handy takeout box with plates and forks. Enjoyed immensely and enough left over for supper! Would highly recommend

Wow! Just had the best afternoon tea ever from here! Enjoyed every mouthful! Not over priced and definitely enough for each person! Was even able to save a treat for the little one. I was expecting this to be an amazing experience based on so many reviews. It was a very average experience. Staff weren’t very approachable. I was told that the kitchen was closed at 3pm but there would be plenty of cold options. After arriving after a 2 hour drive there was no desserts and nothing available except scones. No cream available either and sadly no fruit served with it like I had seen on reviews but it was just served as a plain scone on a plate. I also ordered a Bueno milkshake but this just tasted like whipped Vanilla ice-cream. Nice average place but I wouldn’t go out my way for it unless you are passing by.

Lunch was lovely. The pulled pork wrap I had was so tasty. The staff were so friendly and kind. Our food was a few minutes late which the staff were really apologetic about and offered us free coleslaw and some cakes which was very thoughtful and unexpected. Will definitely go again next time we are visiting South Millford.

Just had one of the best sandwiches in my life! (the Cajun chicken and bacon with fries) and a delicious eclair to finish off. Absolutely fabulous! Great little park next door too. My compliments to the chef and owners.

We’ve been following T Post on Facebook for a while and due to lockdown, we could only drool at the photos of their food! So we decided to order a Smokey Grill takeaway for this weekend. It says that you need to order early in the week to guarantee delivery on Friday/Saturday. So we duly sent a message to place our order. We went to collect our food and was greeted with 2 friendly staff! As we waited for the food, we were looking at the cake counter and deciding on a couple of treats to bring home. The lady offered us the picnic tables at the front of the shop to eat our food. So we decided to stay! The food came out in recyclable packaging and was hot and fresh! Plenty of burger choices as well as various sides. We’d chosen the Cajun chicken burgers with seasoned fries, plus halloumi fries, chicken strips and loaded fries. The food was delicious! We couldn’t manage the pudding and took it home to enjoy later. We were very pleased with our food and will definitely come back to try the others on the menu! It was a fair way away from home but worth coming!!

The T Post just keep raising the standard, time after time you try their food and you’re never disappointed. Whether you try one of the vast range of sweet treats or pick up a takeaway on pizza or grill night, the food is incredible. The staff are always friendly which just tops off a great experience.

Pot of tea,nice. buttermilk chicken with dirty fries I didnt know I liked dirty fries, seasoned to perfection. The best chicken I've ever had. Cakes for afters, I tried them all ,I kid you not.,plus more to take home. Please everyone ,stay away,but if you don't ,you will have the pleasure of helping a young chap,helped by his family ,who truly deserves to succeed. I wish him great success,outstanding. I did smile at the less than five star reviews, mental health is a real concern these days.

We had our take out from here for the first time this week. Pizzas and burgers and both meals were amazing. The butter chicken is fab, the burgers were fantastic value all served with the lovely loaded fries. We will defo be ordering again. Thankyou to all the staff.

We have just had a take out from the T post. Very easy to order, on time. The best tasting and looking burgers I have ever seen. T post never disappoints.

We’ve had lunch a few times from the Tpost and it has always been excellent. Great portion sizes and the food is really tasty. They also have amazing desserts, really good variety and again great portion sizes. The staff are always really great too. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

My husband treated us to afternoon tea, and it was absolutely fabulous. Excellent quality, homemade food. A great selection. Too much for us and we have a good appetite! Excellent food and service as we have come to expect from the TPost. I have promised my sister I will take one to her to enjoy in her garden in Lincoln.
