Super Sausage Cafe in South Northamptonshire

It’s all on the board, but I went for the full Monty and tea. Nice strong mug of tea, relaxed but very busy. Two fried eggs, mushrooms, back bacon, beans, black pudding, a fried slice, tomatoes, hash browns and two sausages. Also came with toast and butter. It was quite a feast and was all delicious. The sausages were incredible, yes, good sausages. So full, but very happy with the food and service. Will come back when we’re down this way.

Whilst the food was ok, making people queue outside when the temperature was 4 degrees and yet there was loads of free tables inside is a ludicrous business model. I'd ridden over 2 hours to get there, then waited 25minues to get in. Stupid me - never again ! Avoid unless it's warm enough to not freeze your important bits off !

The best breakfast stop there is! Staff are so nice even when they are totally rushed off their feet. Word of caution however ..... Go there hungry the food is amazing and there is a very generous amount too.

Went here as a new Christmas tradition this year after my other half's dad passed away (it was one of his old haunts) and I instantly understood why he would have liked it. Mainly motorbike-oriented with a lot of TT memorabilia and some great F1/Car items (love the Lauda/Prost poster from 1985), a couple of Iron Maiden bits and pieces, etc, etc. You get the idea. Atmosphere was great, staff were down to earth and friendly, food was reasonably priced and it was lovely! We'll be making this a more-often tradition!

Having never had a bad meal here for many years I was dissatisfied from the start had two coffees both cold told the waitress who bought two more no different food arrived cold beans cold hard sausages and undercooked eggs won’t be returning

Best Cafe hands down. Extremely good tasting breakfast and lovely staff. Some good motorbikes outside to have a look at. Only downsides is that the music is a bit loud as my Dad has a hearing problem so it’s quite hard for him to hear me talk, and sometimes it can get busy and you struggle to find a table.

Cannot fault the food. Queueing is long but worth the wait. Service is good but when the queue is long, the door tends to let cold air in but saying that, the staff are quick to react and get the door shut again. Victims of their own success.

The food is fantastic every time. Decent portions, not silly prices, good quality food! You can tell that the sausages come from a good butcher, and not just out of a pack.

I've reviewed many cafés around Northamptonshire and I'm astonished this cafe is not ranked number 1! The service is great and friendly with a great location, food is cooked to perfection and all produce is locally sourced and of top quality. This bursts through in flavour and the attention to detail of which certain components are cooked in.out of 20 cafés I've reviewed super sausage has the highest mark 9.4 we have been back 10+ times and the consistency is key 👌 will be reviewing number 1 on this list shortly

Cafe well sign posted from road and entering was not an issue.Arrived into car park. seemed to have enough parking for my bike. met a few bikers and all seemed very friendly.Had to que for food and coffee van was closed in car park so que had people just wanting coffee or tea.Got served quickly and staff seemed rushed.All staff were polite.Had full monty breakfast.very nice all food was well cooked and very tastey.wife enjoyed her food and drink aslo.Drinks were a good size and both tea and coffee tasted good.sausages were a little over done on the top face but not burnt through.in all very tastey food and would return.seating was comfy and had enough room to put my biker jacket and helmet to one side.cafe was a comfortable tempriture however some complained as the aircon was blowing over then making them uncomfortable.so they moved.the cafe was playing music,this was just a little too load for me but not annoying.Toilets were ok ,wife had to que for a while but was happy to use them.they were clean.I liked to see all the biker photos on the wall in the cafe all a great experience.

The super sausage café Where can I start apart from wow wow wow. A long over due breakfast after being at Silverstone Festival. We have looked forward to coming back here since we last visited in October 22. Being bank holiday the place was heaving with motorbikes, and what an atmosphere. Our car felt the odd one out! The Full Monty was awesome, and after a week to get over the first one 😂 I know we will want another one. It was huge!!!!! I opened instead of a breakfast to have a burger and the steak burger was delicious and a proper home made steak burger!!! I wish we lived closer…. A great spot for a bite to eat. Staff were ever so friendly and helpful. Ordered the sausage sandwich and wasn't dissapointed. A great butty. Loved it.

I've been here before and I brought my family to experience a great breakfast experience. We ordered 4 medium breakfasts. We were all very impressed with the quality of the food and the level of service. Everything was very well organised from ordering, serving and then clearing away. Cafe and facilities are very clean and tidy too. Thank you, we will be back soon.

I have been visiting many events at Silverstone over the years and I always ensure I make a pit stop at the Super Sausage Cafe. Always a great atmosphere, friendly staff, clean, awesome motorsport decor throughout and of course a proper breakfast. This is the first time I’ve brought my Husband along and the breakfast here was the highlight of his weekend! (not an F1 fan). Thank you for looking after us again this weekend and hoping it won’t be too long before we visit again soon.

What can I say? Firstly, the service is superb from the minute you walk in the door to the minute you leave. It can’t be faulted. Secondly, the range of food on offer takes some beating. We had the medium sized breakfast and I can honestly say that not only was it plenty big enough but it was also exceptionally well cooked. Finishing with toast (two pats of butter not the normal skimpy one!) and a proper mug of tea that really hit the spot. We really couldn’t fault it in any way. A wonderful experience….thank you and hope to see you again soon!

Good honest service and food. Large plates even for the small breakfast. Decore is Biker themed and lots of Bikers were here, however they were friendly and all is welcomed. Systemic approach to ordering that worked, order at the counter and then table service to deliver your food. Came very quickly.

Great breakfast as always! I came here on the first bank holiday weekend in may and it was rammed! Despite the queue out the door the wait wasn’t horrendous and the food comes out quickly. Would like to give a shout out to Leah the girl on the till, she was polite professional and an asset to the company in terms of service in such a fast paced environment and what was a particularly busy morning, I wouldn’t want to do her job bless her that’s for sure! So just wanted to give her some recognition.

Excellent food however two drawbacks1. despite around 2% of the population eating a gluten free diet there is no gluten free toast let alone a roll. 2. No social distancing. People cccwpushed past us in doorways and queues were tight. Funny thing is almost all bikers wearing a buff which could be a mask no one indoors wore one at all. Mushrooms are amazing!

Always a queue but never a wait. The staff are great, especially seeing how hard they work feeding the never-ending stream of customers. Great atmosphere enhanced with great tunes and decor to match. And the food... you wont be hungry after one of their amazing bacon cheeseburgers, or a classic fry-up with extra black-pudding. Just remember to bring some change for the nodding-dog charity pot by the till...

We primarily go here for a proper slap up breakfast, but lots of other good meals are available. The service is great, the portions are huge. Essentially it’s a modern day 5star transport cafe, wonderful.

Very disappointed. My parents went there this morning. Bear in mind my father is 74 and has a heart condition. Had a stent recently fitted due to having a cardiac arrest. There was a long queue so my mum told my dad to sit down at one of many empty tables. Only for him to be told he could Not sit down by a member of staff until he had his food. It wasn't as if people with food in their was waiting for tables as there was other empty tables. I think this is disgusting behaviour.

I visited the super sausage cafe at the instigation of a friend. We arrived at about 10 am placed our order for a full English from the extensive menu found a seat and with in 5 min my breakfast arrived hot and delicious. Fast service, just what you need when you are on the way to work or road trip. Just good simple food.

Wow amazing freshly cooked breakfast all made with good quality ingredients. The scrambled eggs on toast were the best I have ever had. The full English went down really well with my family. The black pudding is delicious.

Staying in the area for a party, it was suggested before we head home we should aim for The Super Sausage for breakfast. Great decision. Probably the best fry up I've ever had.....not exaggerating. Despite a 25 minute wait, which suggested this is a place people like to visit on a Sunday mornjng, the wait was worth it. We picked Super Sausage Cafe as they welcome motorbikes. The car park is well organised and signed, making it easy for both cars and motorbikes. In hindsight, I think 'well organised and well signed' is a fair summary. A polite sign requests customers to que up and order their food BEFORE taking a table - it was pretty busy when we arrived, but the queue moved and we did, indeed go straight to a cleared table. The menu's were clearly displayed as we queued, with a good range of all day breakfast, daily specials, burgers, sandwiches and kids meals. And proper size mugs for tea/coffee!! The place had a nice buzz, and the staff were exceptional at serving, clearing tables and generally keeping everything moving. Food was served quickly, hot and generous - the breakfasts are excellent value for money! This isn't gourmet, but what they do, they do very well indeed!

After our Christmas party we met here the following morning to cure the hangover which is exactly what the breakfast we had ‘did’! Food is hot and of good quality. It is slightly more expensive than you would imagine from the look on the outside however the staff are friendly and the food is good so it’s understandable why this cafe is as busy as it is!!

Great bikers Cafe. Be prepared to wait for a table at busy times. The staff are run off their feet, so be ready to expect some grumpiness. Food is top-notch, but you're going to wait for it.

Just go in an try the breakfast you'll see what I mean. This place is always up there in the top 3 as the best in Britain and thats not a mistake it's nothing short of superb

I love food, and navigate my way through life trying to find places and food that are worth finding, the Super Sausage has proved that a full English is not just a dumb staple of the road, ingredients are king here and from the first mouthful you can tell that thought, care and attention has been taken in sourcing and preparing every meal, the black pudding brought in from Scotland is just one example, the place also has a great atmosphere, is bright, cheery and lively, petrol heads are in their element here, memrobilia addorns the wall and it's located in an area well served by main roads making it easy to get to from most of the Midlands, well up the list of cafés to visit on the Motorcycle News magazine's golden sausage awards table, this place is worth a few moments of your time!

Perfect for what it is. Decent service and food. Only thing I can say to remember is that unless you have the biggest full monty breakfast no toast/bread and butter comes with your food which is a bit odd.

used this place a few times, food has always been good and pleasant staff, but the music just gets louder every visit, went on sunday morning music that loud it was making conversation dificult. asked staff if they could turn it down but was ignored.Also find it starting to get a bit pricey.

Nipped in for quick bacon roll on way to Silverstone Experience. Food and service were great, decent size portions and reasonable prices. It is a busy place, but worth the visit.

Visited Sunday 13th October, raining 2 bikes, can not blame them for not turning out on such a wet day. First time visit, well what a menu i as a vegetarian i choose 2 fried eggs in a bap, tomatoes and the delicious bubble and squeak. Husband had the full breakfast said "excellent sausage and bacon", and fresh orange. Expect a queue, friendly and fast service. Will definitely visit again. Recommend.

My wife and I decided to have breakfast here one Sunday morning. It was absolutely superb. Sausages, eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, black pudding, bacon all tasted delicious and washed down with a fresh mug of tea. The cafe is spotlessly clean and staff are friendly and helpful. This has to be the best breakfast ever. Well worth a visit.

Wife and I popped into Super Sausage Cafe this morning for a quick breakfast. They were hosting a Suzuki Day and the place was packed. Ended up standing in a queue for breakfast, but boy was it worth it. If you’re hungry the Full Monty will do it for you, the portions are really generous. Came here on hubbys day off for a mid morning fry up, and wow! I’m 8 months pregnant and asked for hard yolks in my eggs and they were more than happy to do so. Because the food and service is exceptional. We have been visiting here most weekends, tried everything on the menu and not one single meal has been bad. Cannot recommend highly enough if you are in the area. Be prepared to queue it is so popular.

Last night we were on our way out for dinner and drove past this lovely looking cafe on the side of the road. We decided to head back over this morning to try the breakfast!
