I sampled the dishes for the first time in view of ordering dishes for get together celebrations on Easter Sunday. This is a family business and the food served was delicious with good portions. There are wide range selections of filifino cuisines that I took so long to decide what to order for our party. The cafe is simple, but with a good atmosphere & the place was very clean & tidy. The service from the young man was very good & made you feel welcome. I met Edna (owner) who gave me a lot of confidence in selecting dishes to order for the party. I highly recommend the place to eat & meet up with friends. I will definitely have my lunch here when I’m in Romford.

Beautiful food beautiful smiley friendly people .was recommended by my daughter .I had the chicken abodoodoo I call it loll .it was beautiful. Gorgeous soft chicken with lovely flavours and sticky rice ..went last month..last Friday and going on Tuesday. Looking forward to it mmm yummy 😁

I help run a social club in Romford and this lovely little cafe is several of our club members favourite eatery. A family run business serving traditional Filipino cuisine that is so tasty that no words do it justice, but we're confident that you won't be disappointed if you go try for yourselves. It's my first time here, didn't know it was hear. Hidden away upstairs in the mall is a little Thai restaurant that makes fresh food. I had vegitable chop suey on steamed rice. It was absolutely delicious. I was a little concerned to being with that it may give me an upset tummy do to some spices but completely the opposite. I absolutely loved it. If anyone is looking to start a new diet and choose restaurants that provide healthy meals then this is definitely one of them. When you arrive there are arrows directing you where to go but if confused wear a mask and walk directly to the counter pickup a menu and find a table. Order your food back at the counter and pay for it. The premises is constantly cleaned. Waiter survive is nice and friendly.

This was my third visit to Sunrise Restaurant in Romford. They specialise in Filipino cuisine, and the quality of food they serve is amazing. I tried Sisig today which was really tasty.

Sunrise Jacket Potato and Oriental Food is a restaurant in the Romford Shopping Mall. This place was highly recommended by a few Filipino colleagues of mine. So I decided to pop-in for a late breakfast/brunch. The ladies who were serving greeted me with smiles on their faces. They even recommended me a dish(as per my request). The ‘Congee’ was served hot, with pork belly pieces and tofu. The food was really tasty, and I really enjoyed it. The chilli flakes served alongside enhanced the taste and the flavour. This cost me GBP7, and I am a moderate eater, and this was really filling. Overall, superb food, nice people and good value for money. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. They close at 5pm(4pm on Sundays), so dinner is a no-no.

Don't know about Filipino cuisine. Otherwise, Good Portions ; Freshly prepared and promptly delivered. What more can you ask from a shopping hall cafe !?

Bank holiday Monday and it was packed with people majority Filipino. Kids had the fish burger meal and chicken fajita quesillida meal. I along with my husband had Filipino cuisine. Sizzling chicken dish, Adobe chicken. All washed down with Ice tea.

Foods are not good. As a filipino the food is not recommendable. They are lock of spices.. I even have stomach ache.. Won't eat there again

This is my family’s favourite restaurant when it comes to some authentic and good tasting Filipino food - the price they put on their dishes is always a bonus, so affordable that you’ll end up ordering more than you can eat. Can’t wait for our next vsit!!!!

A hidden gem in this shopping hall, we tried 3 mains and one side dish and all were delicious and as expected from the menu description. The food came really quickly which is always a bonus when you have a hungry 2 year old waiting! There are plenty of high chairs should you need one. Can’t believe the number of king prawns in the chow mein given the price. We’ll be back!

Weekday late lunch. Excellent freshly prepared Chinese food. Good size portions. :-) My first choice if in Romford for quick lunch.

Delicious and authentic Filipino food. They are reasonably priced and quite big serving. Highly recommended for the whole family.

This is a Filipino cafe that serves Filipino and Chinese food. Big portions of hot and tasty food served up promptly in a no fuss casual environment. I ordered the tofu and vegetables with egg rice. A great vegetarian lunch though they serve meat and fish as well. I will return to try the other dishes.

Pleasantly surprised trying Filipino food. I had tried it in Saudi and not been too impressed but the little cafe upstairs in Romford market hall was a big improvement. We had a stir fried mixed veg in shrimp paste with chilies, a fried fish which was marinated possibly in vinegar and a chicken curry. We asked spicy and they added extra spice. Service was efficient and friendly; portions were large and food was tasty.

Pedimos una chaqueta fritas, gran error. El interior de la patata era marrón como si hubiera sido congelado y luego calentado. No es en absoluto agradable. Es una pena porque la comida es normalmente agradable. Si visitamos este café de nuevo su mejor ceñirnos la comida oriental.

Good food and a lot of it in a good location in Romford Shopping Hall. Good affordable prices too and nice to meet and chill out over good food.

A menudo nos visita aquí para comer cada vez que están en Romford y nunca nos ha decepcionado. El menú está lleno de sus favoritos, incluyendo carne Kare-filipina con Bagoong Alamang Kare, crujientes de pollo y el Adobo, Pata Bistek así como todos los días desayunos incluyendo Longganisa Filipino y tapa de ternera. Si visita aquí en el verano puede probar los traviesos pero agradable Halo-halo.

Amanecer nunca deja de entregar comida estupenda, el personal es super amable y profesional, y la comida es deliciosa, me gusta bastante algunos de sus platos, es interesante para probar algo de otro país como capitán general, lo recomiendo a cualquiera que le guste la comida británica u oriental!

this café accommodates about 20 ladies once a month for a get together and chinwag, they are fast and the food is good value for money.

vengo a menudo a TA para revisar si hay nuevos lugares para comer, ya que los lugares que existían en Romford no son muy interesante. Semana pasada, para mi sorpresa, me encontré con la crítica. Sabíamos de esta cafetería informal en la primera planta del hall de compras de mercado, pero nunca me lo suficientemente cerca de lo que sirve. Supongo que siempre supuse que sería la cuchara típico de grasa con el "oriental" cosa extraña. Pero no, eso no es lo que es. El menú es variado con algunos platos que se pueden esperar de un café, pero hay varias secciones interesantes tales como comidas calientes platos calientes de plato y "Lutong Bahay - casera Filipino platos" y el desayuno también filipina conjuntos, curry, sopa de fideos y platos salteados.

Yo estaba en Romford hace unos días después a pasear y decidimos almorzar en el Romford comercial Hall en el lado del mercado. Había estado allí unos meses antes pero esta vez decidimos probar comida diferente. Fui por el sureño calamares en salsa de ostras con arroz.fue traído a la mesa antes de que yo tenía incluso borrachos mi taza de té que el servicio era rápido. Dos mujeres en la mesa de al lado se veía impresionado como el sofocante plato de metal en un bloque de madera fue traído a mi mesa por una amable señora filipina. servir era grande y la presentación colorida, y no me decepcionó ya que estaba delicioso. Con la taza de té incluido el precio era a 6 libras. Los otros clientes parecía ser una mezcla de personas locales y los Filipinos, así que entiendo la comida debe de haber sido auténtico. El lugar estaba limpio, con mesas y sillas básicas y se encuentra arriba a la derecha según vas subiendo la escalera mecánica. En la misma planta hay también una tienda oriental de souvenirs que venden artículos chinos, una tienda que vende estatuas religiosas y otra cafetería, así como una tienda que vende ropa de vestimenta elegante. Otras cosas en el menú incluido fideos y platos de arroz, así como patatas de la chaqueta. Yo recomendaría este café a cualquiera a quien le guste estilo chino tailandés o comida, aunque es posible que tenga que pedir extra si lo prefieres chili picante. Este lugar está abierto sólo durante las horas normales de compras.
