Sultan BBQ Restaurant in North West Leicestershire

We ordered a sharing deal with a tray of different meats, rice, chips, salad, coleslaw & a drink. The food was outstanding everything so fresh and delicious. Will 100% order again

Very good food. However the lack of customer respect is unbelievable. Son orders from here 5 times a month atleast. Ordered a plain chicken wrap along with other things does not have no sauce or salad on his wrap which is a free add on (which is not cheap nowadays). My son adds cheese to the wrap. The order is paid for on card then when driver arrives they have the cheek to ask for £1 in cash for the cheese added on. Personally as a multiple business owner my self I find this very disrespectful from the business. Will not be ordering again.

I have eaten from here now on numerous occasions and every order is delivered on time if not early, the food is really fresh and tasty, they accommodate individual needs regards a larger piece of Turkish bread every time, By far the best takeaway in Ibstock Thank you for your fresh tasty food

It was really appetising fresh and tasty food and very clean, the meat was tender and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. I must say the best take away at Ibstock.

Terrible telephone manner they can’t wait to get you off the phone I only started saying my order he like you done errr no ,40 mins late ,and missing food there a joke shall not be having again will spend my £32 at Sunshine.This ruins your Saturday night when you get cold food and missing items and they just don’t care.

I am absolutely discusted, with this place, I ordered at 6.40pm for my family and it did not arrive till 8.20pm, and when it did arrive it was stone cold, absolutely vile and my step daughters food tasted like rubber. In the end we went to McDonald's to get some food as we had been out all day. And it was getting late.. I even rang the place twice to ask were our food was and all I was told was its on the way and then they put the phone down on me. I will never order from thos place again.

Do not order from here. I have never left a complaint before but this place is an absolute joke. After literally hours of waiting I called them and they said it would be 45 mins, another hour later and I called to see where it was. Instead of being polite they got annoyed at my second call and said they were cancelling my order. I explained to them I’d been in the hospital, nil by mouth for over 24 hours and didn’t have any food in the house, did they care? of course not. I accept the weather is bad but if that is the reason then do not accept orders and then when the customer calls do not assure them it will arrive at a certain time and then cancel after you fail to meet a second deadline.

Ordered here after a recommendation, but was very disappointed. Collected our order which when we got home was missing the salad and any sauce, therefore had 2 dry chicken shish kebabs which were also really oily. Very disappointed, and would recommend other takeaways in Ibstock instead. Will certainly not be going again.

This place was recommended by a few of my neighbours so when I had some friends round I suggested we try this place. The people were really friendly explaining what food was available and how it was cooked and when we got it home it was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the chicken and lamb shish kebabs! The only issue is this place is cash only, which was a bit of a pain during covid when I've not been to a cash point in 6 months! Apart from that I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Having my order declined for delivery to Whitwick what a put off. I was looking forward to trying there food as I had heard good things but ow well I will spend my cash elsewhere now.

Had a lovely takeaway from here. They offer delivery but that can take a while. If you can collect as you will then also experience watching the chefs cooking on the open grills - just need the weather and you could be in Turkey!! X

Had another lovely meal from Sultans last Saturday. I can't fault their food in any way - it is freshly cooked while you wait - and the taste is excellent. They really know how to create great flavour - without heavy sauces or overcooking. It's fresh, healthy food at a good price.

Ordered the chef special really enjoyed it loads of meat rice salad all lovely would recommend and will be having it again

Kids and I have a sultans a couple times a month and have not been disappointed once. We really like their food.

Ordered at 10.40pm expected fresh donner meat but got your worst kebab ever after night out. I received the dried hard curled up skim off the Kebab definitely the first shaving off kebeb at opening time. Estimated time in Bain Marie 6 hrs

Ordered a veggie pizza and chips early in the week and received a lovely meal for myself and husband. Due to this, we thought we’d order here again on saturday and it was the worst decision ever! I am a vegetarian hence why we ordered a vegetarian pizza in which instead we received a pepperoni pizza. Thats a fair mistake so we called just to let them know we’ve received the wrong order. For them to rudely respond with ‘thats what we ordered as thats what he heard on the phone’. Firstly mistakes happen, if it was misheard but then to make my husband drive back to bring the pizza (half eaten slices by us both) back for them to not apologise nor have the curtousy to deliver us a veg pizza. Whilst my husband had to drive back, our chips were cold on his return and became the worst meal for us. Because of this service, we will most definitely not be returning. Rude owner who could not even apologise or own up to mistakes. Customers obviously don’t come first for these guys.

I tried a take-away meal from Sultans for the first time on Saturday - and I was impressed. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed it particularly because it was unfussy - and was accompanied by two sauces - which made it a complete meal. The quality and flavour clearly come from the use of good ingredients and skilful cooking. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone.

Went out for a sultan special pizza and mixed kabab meat. Food and service was amazing. Turkish family are very friendly. Also the delivery driver Dave who works as a delivery driver for them was there with his family and he has such a lovely warm manner. Definitely recommend this place.

Eaten here a few times, and everytime has been great food with no exceptions. Great selection available and always quick, friendly service.

Had a home delivery of pizza (bogof) and a chicken burger. Food was amazing. I rang them after eating the food to tell them how amazing it all was. It needed to be done.

Thought we would give it a try as we fancied somewhere different and wow... we will definitely being goin back soon.

This is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in. The staff were amazing, attentive, polite etc. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend anyone staying or living in Ibstock should eat here!!

Visited this establishment Saturday evening.

Recommend by a friend and oh my God what a delicious delightful experience. The food is cooked on an open chargrill using coal and various woods. All the food is cooked fresh and in front of you, the quality exceptional.

I was recommended by a friend to try Sultan. My first impression was one of surprise as the restaurant part of the building is very basic. Clean, but no frills or atmosphere and draughty as the door kept opening for take aways. The staff were exceedingly friendly and couldn’t do enough. The food freshly cooked as you watched was superb. 5 stars for food and staff but 3.5 for eating in. Will I go again - yes but a take out next time

Came out for a drive and stumbled upon this little gem....had 5 starters and a mixed kebab between the 2 of us. All cooked in front of you on the indoor bbq. Lovely friendly staff and the food was fresh and very tasty. Value for money too.

Freshly cooked, authentic, tasty and delivered to your door.... and they take credit cards. For something out of the ordinary I recommend it. It has become a regular Saturday night for us!

Lovely local Turkish restaurant serving freshly cooked tasty food. Friendly, helpful staff serving great food in a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Also does great take aways and offers a delivery service. Lets hope it gets plenty of local support and is here for years to come

This place was recommended by a colleague as an alternative to IMGE in Coalville so we thought we'd try it. They're not particularly friendly here but we ordered the £14 mixed grill for two to takeaway and we were not disappointed, it was delicious (IMGE charges £20 for their mixed grill for two). Will definitely try this place again. Might even get a smile next time, who knows?!

New Turkish restaurant serving great traditional food cooked fresh to order whilst you sit and watch. Good variety and reasonably priced. Small and intimate surroundings but with a relaxing atmosphere. Nice friendly people. We've since had a takeaway too which didn't dissapoint. So lucky to have a place like this in Ibstock. I hope people support it and keep then here!

Great place to get authentic Turkish food. Streets ahead of your average high street kebab place.

We had a nice freshly cooked meal Nice staff, food good quality, a nice addition to the village My son had chicken strips and chips, my daughter cheeseburger and chips , I tried the chicken kebab with sour cream - all good and reasonable prices

Great new little takeaway with option to eat in- freshly Bbq food and live the homemade sweet chilli sauce Friendly staff - great guy front of house and young server - keep up the good work - just what the local area needed
